  • Glasgow Clyde College do a beginners course but I think it's maybe done online now. You can find loads of local tutors on Gumtree and Facebook etc. YouTube is an invaluable resource as well when starting out. Good luck 👍🏻 by RosssJP (Sun 26th Dec 2021 4:01pm)
  • I meant to comment on this before but I forgot! Cathouse, The Solid and Rufus Ts is great for rock/metalheads, also Drury St. I frequently go to gigs myself and just chat away to other folk who are there, it's a great way to meet like minded people. Also maybe take a night class at a local college in a subject you're interested in. I noticed you're into Warhammer, there's a shop on Union St that specialises in that sort of thing. If you're ever at a loss, I'm 28 and into metal, send me a DM if you ever want a chat. All the best by RosssJP (Fri 31st Dec 2021 6:16pm)

  • Theres a shop in Buchanan Galleries, I believe it's called Scottish Design Exchange. Might be worth a wee look by RosssJP (Tue 24th May 2022 12:24am)
  • I got an email from Ticketmaster with the event details since I bought my partners tickets. The curfew is 22:45 so he won't appear onstage until 20:00/20:30 at the earliest I'd imagine. The email states not to rely on trains and to plan ahead so I'd probably recommend trying to get a bus, otherwise you'd have to leave really early. Also states that Happy bus are operating coaches so I'd look into that. by RosssJP (Tue 7th Jun 2022 5:19pm)

  • Cheers for the comments folks. I'd take the money back right now if I could but ticketmaster won't allow it until the gigs are rescheduled again. by RosssJP (Wed 7th Sep 2022 8:02pm)
  • I've put in a request I didn't realise you could. Waiting to hear back 🤞🏻 by RosssJP (Wed 7th Sep 2022 9:40pm)
  • Had a bad experience with them a good few years ago. Buying the car was fine, salesman was nice but collecting the car was a different story. Went to collect it and was told it would be a wee bit of a wait to have it ready so I thought no bother. An hour passes, nothing. 2 hours pass, still nothing. Asked the staff a few times and they say yeah won't be long. Eventually about 3 hours later I get taken to the car. Nothings been done to it, hasn't been washed or cleaned and stinks of smoke on the inside. It also doesn't have any fuel despite them making you pay extra for it to come with a full tank. Asked the handover person about it and they go away and come back saying someone's away with their fuel card so they can't put any fuel in it. Typical. Asked about the car being filthy and stinking of smoke and they say its just came off the transporter, they can have someone spray it down and give it a quick clean. They come back and say that the cleaning area is all locked up and they dont have keys so can't do that either. At this point I'm so pissed off and just take the car and go when I know I probably shouldn't have. Went back a few days later and had go effectively force them to put fuel in the car and valet it for me. Would never recommend buying a car from there to anyone. I've never experienced such abysmal customer service in my life. by RosssJP (Thu 15th Sep 2022 10:59am)

  • Log into the ticketmaster website and go into the ticket. Go to "need help with this order" at the bottom, then chose the category I'd like help with this order. Then select the topic request to refund. Hope that helps by RosssJP (Wed 28th Sep 2022 4:12pm)
  • I use loop earplugs, very small almost like earbuds and keep them in a keyring in a wee holder. Can be quite pricey but there's a few different options by RosssJP (Tue 8th Nov 2022 6:37pm)

  • Twickets is good you can sign up for alerts on their site for specific gigs. Also keep an eye on the ticketmaster page incase anyone lists theirs for resale. Aside from that check the Facebook event page for the gig however its often full of bots or weirdos trying to scam people. Twitter is a good shout also. by RosssJP (Fri 12th May 2023 6:52am)
