  • This is absolute bullshit scare mongering. Nobody will bat an eyelid is some random is wearing a green jumper walking about town on Old Firm day. Get to fuck. by ScottishLariat (Mon 9th Dec 2019 12:22pm)
  • You'll be a hoot round the table today, I'm sure by ScottishLariat (Wed 25th Dec 2019 12:59pm)
  • You absolutley can walk directly from Central to the Quay. A variety of ways. Faux outrage because you couldn't walk the way you wanted to walk. Karma fishing bullshite. by ScottishLariat (Sat 28th Dec 2019 6:04pm)
  • When you come across the bridge, rather than walking along the clyde (because of the fences in your photo) you can walk straight up to to Kingston street and take a right, leads right to the quay. Or, you can cut through the estate and come out under the bridge at Kingston Street/Paisley road Or, as you seemed to want to take a route along the clyde, you can walk further up Anderston Quay and cross the bridge at Finneston and walk back to the left along Govan Road. A considerably longer way, but still a direct route by ScottishLariat (Sat 28th Dec 2019 6:19pm)
  • I've cut through the estate literally hundreds of times, I used to park at the quay and walk across the bridge for work. Think you need to look up the definition of direct mate. by ScottishLariat (Sat 28th Dec 2019 6:27pm)
  • No thanks. You. by ScottishLariat (Sat 28th Dec 2019 6:25pm)
  • Turn right into the housing estate, walk straight to you come to the big circle of them all, follow the path to the left and you come out at the car park behind one of the flats, walk straight and your on the path under the bridge at Kingston Street. by ScottishLariat (Sat 28th Dec 2019 6:57pm)
  • Bothwell Street too. I've used both and they pretty much the same. "Budget gyms" mean it's often busy but they always have the latest equipment and pretty regular classes. From my experience, The Gym was a little quieter, which I prefer, during the times I go. by ScottishLariat (Sun 5th Jan 2020 10:38am)

  • Asking a sub full of Sebastian's from the West End about a working class area like Bridgeton will not get you the answers you are looking for. Bridgeton is like most places on the edges of the city centre, hit and miss. by ScottishLariat (Wed 19th May 2021 3:23pm)
  • Would disagree on experience. by ScottishLariat (Wed 19th May 2021 3:33pm)
  • What does what happened on Saturday have to do with Bridgeton? For the record, I'm a Rangers fan. I'm not protestant, I'm not a massive fan of religion anyway. Someone has asked for advice on an area of Glasgow I know. You're the one making this about football. You're a bigot. by ScottishLariat (Wed 19th May 2021 4:18pm)

  • Tiring is trying to make ends meet on the salaries these workers make, not scrolling past a Reddit post you don't like. Jog on. Up the workers. by ScottishLariat (Mon 29th Aug 2022 5:56pm)
  • That's completely different to "yes we all know the binmen are underpaid, as are most people" Glad you support the workers though ✊ by ScottishLariat (Mon 29th Aug 2022 6:03pm)
  • I don't think you really understand the meaning of collective action to be honest. I'd take 100 posts with pictures of overflowing bins to show the difference the workers make to the city on a daily basis, for a pittance of a wage. But, as I'm sure you are tired from having to scroll past these pictures, it's your right to disagree. by ScottishLariat (Mon 29th Aug 2022 6:29pm)
  • I don't think you are wrong in that people will use it to try and sway aggression towards the workers. But similarly, I don't think hiding away from that opinion is the answer. Challenge them, or scroll on. by ScottishLariat (Mon 29th Aug 2022 6:34pm)
  • One of the unions you mentioned there will be paying £50 per day to every member who takes industrial action in upcoming school strikes. Not based on hardship or paygrade, £50, per day for everyone. There is also the ability to claim over and above that via hardship funds. You are right though, we will all still be taking a dunt in wages by taking industrial action. But something needs to be done and hopefully its short term pain long term gain. by ScottishLariat (Tue 30th Aug 2022 10:07am)
  • I mean, you can do all that if you want. I'm not very good on photoshop. If people want to get angry at workers for striking, they aren't educated enough on why the workers are actually striking. That's why you should be challenging it. Hiding away from people that don't support a strike isn't helpful at all. We're literally on the same side of the fence but arguing about different tactics. Which is fine. But my initial point was in response to you being tired about seeing these posts, yet you have continued to write paragraphs in response to me bringing that up. Save your strength to argue with folk that don't agree with the strikes. Or learn photoshop. by ScottishLariat (Tue 30th Aug 2022 12:19pm)
  • Belter. by ScottishLariat (Tue 30th Aug 2022 12:33pm)
