  • This charity is ace. I've fostered a couple of cats for them. They're incredibly dedicated. Give them a shout. If anyones intrigued by fostering cats, they really need more foster carers. I've heard there's another rehoming charity called the Underheugh Ark Rescue that are good and could maybe help. by Time_Ad1622 (Tue 19th Apr 2022 10:16am)
  • We ate at Sushi Ya on Union st last night. Not bad. If you book via the website you get a great discount, even on a weekend! by Time_Ad1622 (Sat 30th Apr 2022 10:11am)
  • https://www.reddit.com/r/funny/comments/n3hwgz/super_tired_of_my_bikes_getting_stolen/?utm_medium=android_app&utm_source=share This is a genius and literal "fuck you" to any cunt that steals your bike. Should be a Dragons den pitch, "if you've ever had a bike stolen, wouldn't you love to stab that cunt in the hoop? Well let your bike do it for you!" by Time_Ad1622 (Tue 10th May 2022 10:58pm)
  • Try the landlord registration website. You can post the address to see if they're registered for a start, if not report them for that as well. Or even HMRC. Theres specifics for short term letting in tax self assessments. If they're as cunty as they sound, maybe they ain't filing returns properly either. by Time_Ad1622 (Mon 1st Aug 2022 12:24pm)
  • Contact Better than Zero through Facebook or whatever. They'll happily name and shame the place, and they've helped lots of staff with grievances and getting their pay sorted. by Time_Ad1622 (Mon 5th Sep 2022 1:23pm)
  • Fireworks display. Have watched from my window in West end, over in Glasgow Green direction by Time_Ad1622 (Sun 20th Nov 2022 7:17pm)
  • Theres a fire extinguisher refill place in Rutherglen,I think, that apparently does them. Thats what I was told in one of the aquarium shops on p.r.w by Time_Ad1622 (Sun 5th Mar 2023 8:56am)
  • We have that same issue in Woodlands road/Great Western Road. Its not nearly as bad as a couple years ago when it was all the fucking time.. They are wanks, screaming to be noticed. Which they are - as wanks. People were getting the reg/ taking video and sending it to their local neighbourhood cop. Maybe they then did something, cos its reduced right down. Or the wank's had a child, or dead. I always daydreamed of pushing a pram out in front of one of them speeding along. Harsh lessons. But then they might veer off and hit an actual person, or even worse, a dog. Guess just choose the right moment. by Time_Ad1622 (Thu 15th Jun 2023 7:08am)
  • If this thread was titled "noisy AF weans", you could have been on target. But I've just returned from chilling in the park, so no harm to baby chat today. I initially thought of tossing a mannequin into their path. But I think you'd recognise it was a mannequin in that split second. Plus, I dont wanna be wandering around carrying a mannequin. Plus, where the fuck do you buy a mannequinn? I think it'd be easier to explain why you're pushing an empty pram. I've over thought this. by Time_Ad1622 (Thu 15th Jun 2023 8:42pm)
  • I think every single sushi selling/ japanese place has been mentioned here, bar one - Sapporo Teppenyaki. I ate there about 10 years ago and had some kind of sushi platter. It was fucking bangin. Pricey, but very good. Can't vouch for how it is now though; but its still going. by Time_Ad1622 (Sun 3rd Sep 2023 12:21pm)
  • True. It is great for special occasions. The chefs doing the teppenyaki shows are amazing, funny, entertainment. The sushi was presented beautifully as well. My go to place is Kokoro. Its a bit hit 'n miss, but the price for the quality satisfies my cravings. The London one I visited was way better made sushi than the Glasgow one. Same price though. Wasn't expecting that in London. by Time_Ad1622 (Mon 4th Sep 2023 11:47am)
  • This is now an Asian clothes store called Lalli Fashions. They flytip on a regular basis at the end of the street, adding to the problem in Govanhill, and have been at it for years. The building owner is an ex Councillor, Jahagir Hanif, known as the Kalashnikov Councillor cos a video emerged of him training his kids how to shoot an AK at a camp in Pakistan. It'd be great if the building was taken off these flytipping cunts. They don't give a fuck about keeping the neighbourhood they serve clean. I imagine turning the place into a cinema would go the same way as the Govanhill baths renovation - a money pit where the contractors are dragging it out for years and leaching as much money as they can for it. This city seems rife with shady deals. Fucking fires clearing development spaces. Objections being flushed down the toilet surfing a cowabunga coil. If Govanhill was deemed a nice place to live, this building would have been flambéed as soon as some council/developer cunts got a reacharound off a money covered palm they'd go lap their evil 2 headed sperms off and fuck-every-cunt-its-all-about-me producing ova off. I need a valium the size of a Wagon wheel. by Time_Ad1622 (Thu 21st Sep 2023 4:33pm)
  • I find if I head out in the car between 2.30-3.30, I'm stuck in school pick up traffic. Then from 4.30 till 6.30, its end of work day traffic. Sometimes though, Great Western Road is rammed at lunchtime, but that can turn out to be some cunt thats parked in one of the lanes, be it delivery or standard issue entitled car cock. What the fuck is that about when some cunt parks next to a free car park space?! Fucking Park in it, you gargantuan dumb cuntard. "I don't have time to Park in a space, so I'm going to slow every poor fucker down on the road I'm blocking as they have to manoeuvre around me cos I never learnt how to parallel park". Everyone driving around you knows youre incompetent and looking at your phone so you don't lock eyes with everyone letting you know with a look that you're a pure shite driver. I'd love to have a bashed up car that I could just drive around willingly scraping every shite motorist out there. It'd be my leisurely Sunday drive. Blocking a Park space? Boop. Parked over two spaces on purpose? Boop. by Time_Ad1622 (Tue 3rd Oct 2023 11:19am)
  • I've read many vets recommend when it comes to saying goodbye to your pet, doing it in the comfort of their own home is much less stress on the animal and the family than bringing it to the vet. We have an old cat thats near the end. To put her to sleep at the vets £65. To put her to sleep at our home £320. The service is based 7 miles away, but this price makes me think its a fucking flying vet coming over, out of hours, on a Sunday, from a different county. Since pet insurance took off, uk vets have gone like American health care, knowing that they can charge ridiculous amounts cos an insurance company will pay it IF the precise criteria are met. Vets totally exploit peoples emotions and love for their beloved pets. If vets love animals, reduce your charges. Do you really need that luxury material possession over that old dear that needs the company of her only beloved old companion pooch? They should have a word with themselves and perhaps go for a career where they can get the big bucks with out saying "your beloved animals dead unless you pay me this much" by Time_Ad1622 (Wed 25th Oct 2023 9:00am)
  • I think you can use the subway Park and ride carparks for around £5/all day. Not sure if that's carpark only, or car park and return subway journey. Theres one at Kelvinbridge. by Time_Ad1622 (Sun 5th Nov 2023 12:08pm)
  • I think there's an option where you can let the fire service know its a fire hazard, and they can contact someone like the council, or building managers/factors to get it dealt with before its torched by some fanny. As it is, thats just a big room of kindling that could turn some of those new flats into new charcoal. Best deal with it yourselves, and get the signs up telling people what not to do to keep the bin men happy and servicing the building. by Time_Ad1622 (Wed 29th Nov 2023 9:45am)
  • Presumably they're in through govanhill housing association. You need to tell them they're being a nuisance. Get photo evidence of them doing it. Make notes of how often they're doing it and what they're dumping. Report it to public health as a fire hazard. Environmental health can't do much. Public health have more powers. It'll save you the anxiety of speaking to them, plus they may not understand, or say they don't understand what you're saying. So many people in Govanhill suffer the actions of flytipping cunts that just don't give a fuck. So don't give a fuck about them. I don't understand why flytipped furniture is almost a daily occurrence in Govanhill. How the fuck are people going through furniture so quick? Maybe it's bed bug infestation. I dunno. But it bums me out, and I don't even stay there. by Time_Ad1622 (Thu 7th Dec 2023 10:54pm)
