  • Very sorry to hear about your state of affairs. As an international resident who had to find accommodation in the space of a week myself, I would recommend SpareRoom and Gumtree. You can find double bedroom lets for short-long term, at good rates. Be warned they get taken up really quickly, so be sure to contact adverts ASAP. I hope you manage to find a place! by arunnm24 (Thu 9th Sep 2021 10:45am)
  • Was in this situation once uni ended in September. Bought the early bird access on SpareRoom and lucked out and found myself a place. All the advice I can give is constantly hit up ads on SpareRoom, GumTree and the rest. by arunnm24 (Tue 16th Nov 2021 7:51pm)
  • I have been walking by this building every day, to and from work, for the past five months. Seeing the tower lit up at night was always such a mystical sight. I only found out yesterday that it was being taken down. I had always assumed that all the fencing around the building was due to a renovation. Silly me eh? by arunnm24 (Sun 30th Jan 2022 9:58pm)
  • Oh right my bad! I must have misinterpreted what a local resident told me last night - I thought he was telling me that they were taking the building down. Just read the article about it, I’ve got it now! by arunnm24 (Sun 30th Jan 2022 11:33pm)
  • Pure Gym is one of the cheapest around. by arunnm24 (Sun 10th Apr 2022 8:57pm)
  • As an international student arriving on a dark, cold, rainy evening (which feels likes 90% of the year tbh), lugging 4 bags, it was an absolute nightmare getting and finding my cab. by arunnm24 (Fri 15th Apr 2022 6:42pm)
  • Because it’s very likely a lot of people who are living here (like myself) have travelled to the highlands? I simply asked for some advice jeez by arunnm24 (Thu 5th May 2022 9:36pm)

  • That sounds really good! I’ll definitely consider it by arunnm24 (Thu 5th May 2022 9:53pm)
  • Looking particularly to try out AKG K371 if that helps, and it’s for home listening. by arunnm24 (Wed 21st Sep 2022 2:39pm)
  • That’s helpful. Thanks! by arunnm24 (Wed 21st Sep 2022 2:40pm)
  • Not looking for an open back just yet. Also wanted something with more mobility because will need to also use it for commute occasionally. by arunnm24 (Thu 22nd Sep 2022 8:15am)
  • Do you have any particularly poor experience with AKG? Already have a DT770, just wanted something with bit more mobility for occasional commute as well. by arunnm24 (Thu 22nd Sep 2022 8:33am)
  • Will do. Thanks for the tip, cheers! by arunnm24 (Thu 22nd Sep 2022 2:32pm)
