If you consider healthy food as good meat sources, low or preferably seed oil free and without refined carbs... then I don't know any, I would also like to find one.

Yes, fatty fish such as Salmon and Mackerel (hopefully wild caught) contain good amounts of Vitamin D. Another great source is Cod Liver oil.

I also had success with a private landlord on [openrent.co.uk](https://openrent.co.uk) This may be bad advice, but everyone at work told me to avoid mentioning my dog if I was renting though a rental agency. At some point I considered doing it as I struggled a lot to to find a place (June 2022) and paying for my airbnb was becoming unsustainable.

Also it is a pain in the ass to fly them, I refused to send mine as cargo so I had to fly to the Netherlands, take a ferry to Hull (England) and then travel to Glasgow by train. It was long and a bit stressful, but totally worth it.

They are totally worth it, let me know if I can be of any help.

But they charge something like 2 pounds per page, it is absurd.

Is this a pro tip though? If people don't pay for tickets, who foots the bill for the service?

And who funds government spending?

Fuck me, I've been buying single tickets all this time to Edinburgh and back! Guess this shows how new I am to using trains, glad I saw this post though.

I think you have received great advice as to why and why not get a dog, maybe why a cat could be a good fit and so on. I think the best thing you can do is to try something like "borrow my doggy" or maybe try and create a profile in Rover and sit/board a dog for a couple of days or weeks, so you can get a sense of the time responsibilities as well as the big change in your life. If you like it and think it is a good match for you and your lifestyle, then think about the long term commitments. Best of luck, dogs are great! Edit: Single 26yo with a dog in Glasgow.

Do you know if I can take a small/medium sized dog with me on the bus?

Ha I took a picture of this and sent it to my partner the other day, glad I’ve experienced local culture.
