  • I know you said you’d appreciate in-person sessions a bit more, but I just wanted to share a really good free resource that you can self-refer to for phone-based CBT. It’s called Living Life, and you’ll typically get nine sessions – it’s not an awful lot of time, but it’s better than nothing until you can afford additional treatment: https://www.nhs24.scot/our-services/living-life/ I’ve found it to be a really positive experience, as – like you – Beating the Blues didn’t really suit me and it definitely helps to have someone to talk you through CBT rather than into the void online. You’ll typically be able to start it within a month, and they’ll usually get in touch with an assessment of where you’re at and what treatment will best suit you. Best of luck! by comeonnowjosephine (Sun 14th Nov 2021 6:37pm)

  • Give The Wool Haven in Shawlands a try. They’re always well stocked with quality yarn. Or you can order online from Wool Warehouse. by comeonnowjosephine (Wed 15th Dec 2021 11:50am)
  • Worked around the corner from it and it’s never been full. You’re good! by comeonnowjosephine (Sun 23rd Jan 2022 3:12pm)

  • I’ve lived five miles out from Ayr my whole life and it’s definitely a shitehole, roasters or not! by comeonnowjosephine (Thu 12th May 2022 2:45pm)
