  • I saw out my flat a parade made of like 20 kids and a couple of adults. Made me sad. by find26 (Sun 7th Jul 2019 10:58am)
  • You'll be able to get cheap kiddie paints at a bigger supermarket but if you want somewhat decent paints it's best ordering online as art shops aren't open at the moment! by find26 (Tue 7th Apr 2020 11:51am)
  • Close to there, yeah by find26 (Thu 16th Apr 2020 4:45pm)
  • Ah that's good to know about the transport - my aim is to learn to drive sometime before next summer but at the moment we both rely on public transport. I've had a look at our commutes (one to Glasgow and one to Paisley) and they don't look too terrible but obviously a car would be much more useful! by find26 (Wed 21st Oct 2020 11:13am)
  • Thanks! That's all really nice to hear :) by find26 (Wed 21st Oct 2020 7:54pm)
  • Thanks for the info! I'm not sure of the names of the areas (and I don't want to be too specific) but the house is west of ferry road and north east of inchinnan road (perhaps a 5 minute walk north of victory baths - just trying to find places on Google now ha!) if that makes sense? I'd love your opinion, you seem to know Renfrew! by find26 (Wed 21st Oct 2020 7:51pm)
  • With our situation it would be me driving to Paisley and my wife getting public transport into Glasgow as she isn't planning on learning to drive - so no soul destroying commute lol by find26 (Wed 21st Oct 2020 11:42pm)
  • Yeah that's what we thought - I'm completely happy to pay for their time (as it's obviously not guaranteed that they'll get the job since we don't own the property) but £250 seems a bit much by find26 (Sun 22nd Nov 2020 3:28pm)
  • Can you link to the recent update for that? I've read the new update on the BBC website but didn't see anything about students. by find26 (Sun 20th Dec 2020 11:09am)
  • Thanks! by find26 (Sun 20th Dec 2020 5:01pm)
  • Did the police turn up/do anything about it? by find26 (Sat 2nd Jan 2021 10:56pm)
  • I actually lived in Glasgow for a couple years before living near Oxford - wasn't just a random move! Also, there's been an Apple day in Alexandra park in 2019 so it obvs happens sometimes. I was just hoping that maybe there'd be one in a wee village on the outskirts or something that hasn't made its way to being advertised online. by find26 (Thu 2nd Sep 2021 8:16pm)
  • Hahaha, I think I probs did spend more time out on the farm playing in mud than on any console! Went to potato days as well... the crafts were still fun but I wouldn't recommend eating anything raw lol by find26 (Thu 2nd Sep 2021 8:39pm)
  • I'm getting the feeling it's more of a rural thing lol! I grew up in rural Scotland and there was a place nearby (like an outdoorsy type place with a cafe, some wee shops, kids activities, etc) that ran an Apple day each year. It's legit just a bunch of stalls selling different types of apples, some stalls with games (dooking for apples, longest peel competition, etc), some stalls with apple juice or cider... I'd recommend going to one if you get the chance, they're fun! by find26 (Thu 2nd Sep 2021 8:36pm)
  • Ah, good to know, thanks!! by find26 (Thu 2nd Sep 2021 10:12pm)
  • Thanks! :D by find26 (Thu 2nd Sep 2021 10:17pm)
