  • John Coltrane William Burroughs and Nick Cave were all junkies. I think any group of people "dying off" making the world overall better is at least debatable. by guessmypasswordagain (Sun 18th Oct 2020 6:53pm)
  • You should also see a therapist dude. You don't have an excuse to be violent at any point. Work out if you have extra aggression. Your neighbours are responsible for not being dickheads and I'm sure they have some shitty backstory that they feel justifies their shitty behaviour. Don't be that person. by guessmypasswordagain (Fri 20th Nov 2020 7:25am)
  • Despite the answers here, I would personally contact the airport yourself before setting off to avoid any incident. Things have changed in the last few weeks regarding rules about travel and it'll reduce anxiety if nothing else. by guessmypasswordagain (Tue 24th Nov 2020 6:25pm)
  • Honestly it took me going to 5 different glass recycling bins from my house in Partick before I found one that was not overflowing. I ended up having to go to great western road to find one. I would say every second time the local bin is full. The council need to either provide more of these or collect more regularly. There is only so much you can expect people to do. by guessmypasswordagain (Thu 3rd Dec 2020 6:05pm)
  • I'm not sure if I'd go that far, but it's definitely a problem. Fine for me to do once a week, but if you have kids as well as work you're not going to take that trek. You're either going to bin it, place it beside the recycling or optimistically put it on top like in the photo. by guessmypasswordagain (Fri 4th Dec 2020 10:28am)
  • Oh, they are but Windows being Windows wants you to check through them first. :) by guessmypasswordagain (Mon 7th Dec 2020 3:16pm)
  • I've been double-billed for some months, their phone line is down and their live chat (a tiny hidden yellow button that only appears on the bottom right on scrolling to the bottom of this specific page) makes you fill out a form to tell you there is no one there. I think it's pretty clearly just a racket. by guessmypasswordagain (Mon 7th Dec 2020 3:59pm)
  • >And if you do believe there is a virus, by all means keep wearing your mask and social distancing. But you also need to respect the rest of us when we decide not to do those things. No, that's not how viruses work. If you were just putting yourself at risk, it would be one thing, but you're putting everyone else at risk by being selfish. (And thick, like really, really thick). This is like saying you need to respect drunk drivers when they decide to get behind the wheel. Being an adult and a citizen means responsibilities as well as rights. Be a decent person. by guessmypasswordagain (Sat 12th Dec 2020 11:51pm)
  • I would like to think so, but no, their mind isn't even there. I've taken enough buses to see people just toss things on the ground because they don't think or care. Stuff like that should brings bigger fines, even community service. But the most important thing is education and opportunities. If people feel they're part of a city that cares about them, they'll care about it. by guessmypasswordagain (Tue 15th Dec 2020 9:41am)
  • I see what you're saying now, and you have a point. But you originally said the city is manmade, as is litter so what's the difference? Well chairs are manmade, and so is shit, but you wouldn't sit on the latter. by guessmypasswordagain (Tue 15th Dec 2020 9:53am)
  • I'm curious (and ignorant), why would you want your insurer to know to expect a claim? by guessmypasswordagain (Sun 27th Dec 2020 4:02pm)
  • Ah right, that makes sense, cheers. by guessmypasswordagain (Sun 27th Dec 2020 6:08pm)
  • Yes, he's real. Had a great nose for photography as I recall. by guessmypasswordagain (Sun 3rd Jan 2021 2:33pm)
  • I think because of the "exaggeration." It's nice, but if you've ever been to Hong Kong etc, it is difficult to compare. I'm incredibly envious of your view for my part. by guessmypasswordagain (Fri 29th Jan 2021 9:56pm)
  • DELETED Sounds like it. I am settling for walking around with headphones playing Deftones. But still hear it. Been in a lot of construction yard above or below situations and it is my worst nightmare. I'm okay, the above rant was half-serious, but to be honest, pretty stressed. It's not like I should be going elsewhere either. by guessmypasswordagain (Sat 30th Jan 2021 11:22am)
  • DELETED No, I don't think it's unreasonable to not do unnecessary repairs during a stay-at-home lockdown. by guessmypasswordagain (Sat 30th Jan 2021 11:28am)
  • DELETED For non-emergency repairs, after a stay at home lockdown where you neighbours can't go anywhere. :) by guessmypasswordagain (Sat 30th Jan 2021 11:25am)
  • More of a Koi No Yokan guy. by guessmypasswordagain (Sat 30th Jan 2021 11:43am)
  • DELETED Sure and maybe me throwing parties at all hours and playing loud music will keep me sane. If keeping your sanity means driving other people nuts, it's not a very good argument. by guessmypasswordagain (Sat 30th Jan 2021 11:44am)
  • Ah, yes, because I was ranting about having neighbours, not them knocking the shit out of my floor on a Saturday morning during lockdown... by guessmypasswordagain (Sat 30th Jan 2021 11:51am)
  • Yeah r/glasgow is a pretty miserable place. They will downvote pretty much everything that isn't their own very small opinion. People make it. by guessmypasswordagain (Sat 30th Jan 2021 12:01pm)
  • Woman missing and the first thing you think about is whether we are being too woke. Pure foaming at the mouth worrying about their genitals. by guessmypasswordagain (Fri 21st Apr 2023 12:32pm)
  • The fucking state of you. by guessmypasswordagain (Fri 21st Apr 2023 12:30pm)

  • This is really terrible advice please don't follow. Eating can be difficult with COVID but it's important to keep your strength up. by guessmypasswordagain (Sat 16th Sep 2023 7:26pm)
