  • You don’t seem very well, up there by hailhail7 (Sun 21st Mar 2021 11:31pm)
  • I'm currently looking to move out into a flat in the city centre (or walking distance) for starting uni and I've accepted I'm just going to need to bide my time here. Thankfully I already live in Glasgow and am not in a massive rush to leave home so I can afford to wait and save up money, but it's still frustrating. • I know someone who (only a few months ago) got into Kilts and cocktails with their young Scot card. Unfortunately this will mean going to kilts and cocktails by hailhail7 (Mon 30th May 2022 2:06am)
  • I mean they’re at Ed Sheeran by hailhail7 (Fri 17th Jun 2022 1:12am)
  • I live 5 minutes down the road, was working tonight so can’t comment on if this was worse but generally don’t feel them to be that awful. Maybe I’m just deaf or have very thick walls but they’re not that bad. Outside I can hear them crystal clear but that’s not always bad. Dad and his pal sat outside with a few cans and listened to Springsteen a few years ago, had a great night by hailhail7 (Fri 17th Jun 2022 1:11am)
  • Well aware I’m in the minority here so accept my small sample sizes must just be skewed, but I was at both gigs and saw far more pricks at lg. Grown pricks too, not just wee guys being wee guys. Also very fortunate to live by hampden so can be up the road in ten minutes so avoid the trouble after. That said, thought the Calvin Harris crowd was okay from where I was by hailhail7 (Mon 4th Jul 2022 6:52pm)
  • Is it up in the station reception bit? by hailhail7 (Mon 26th Sep 2022 3:42pm)
  • Never mind, found the lost property but. No luck sadly by hailhail7 (Mon 26th Sep 2022 3:48pm)
  • Aye I’ve frozen the card by hailhail7 (Mon 26th Sep 2022 7:31pm)
  • Turns out this one was not it but if you did happen to lose a wallet in a taxi you might be in luck by hailhail7 (Mon 26th Sep 2022 11:12pm)
  • I didn’t but maybe it somehow ended up there, will message you by hailhail7 (Mon 26th Sep 2022 11:11pm)
  • If those opinions are bigoted or fascist or transphobic, likely considering it’s patriotic alternative, then aye by hailhail7 (Fri 3rd Feb 2023 12:22am)
  • If it’s a few folk calling you transphobic when most are saying you’re fine you’re likely fine, if everyone is saying you’re transphobic you’re probably transphobic by hailhail7 (Fri 3rd Feb 2023 2:03am)
  • What documentary is that? Would like to watch it by hailhail7 (Wed 15th Feb 2023 8:55pm)
  • Cheers by hailhail7 (Wed 15th Feb 2023 9:24pm)
  • I can give a wee bit of insight into that store. I work at another McDonald’s in the city but got sent there for the first month it opened cause they wanted experienced staff to help with the opening and it would mean I could walk to work. It was always so over staffed. It was basically always dead. Most of the managers had been tempted to move with a promotion and so had very little experience. In McDonald’s you get a promotion to crew trainer which as the name implies means it’s your job to train new staff. When they got in the staff from other stores to help they forgot to recruit crew trainers, so while we’d help where we could there was never anyone dedicated to teaching new folk, and due to so many staff and so little to do nobody learned much. Then the experienced staff went back (I got the chance to stay but I’d rather be at the shitehole my pals all work at), the new staff had no clue, managers didn’t have the experience to run shifts and train everyone, and it all went to shit. The franchisee lost millions on it so far I’m told, with hampden events and holyrood lunchtime keeping it going. by hailhail7 (Tue 30th May 2023 9:16pm)
  • I understand how glass works and would still prefer clear windows by hailhail7 (Tue 4th Jul 2023 8:12pm)
  • Surprised nobody has mentioned Tenement Trail, £35 for a ticket but you get a day’s worth of music around the city on Saturday. by hailhail7 (Fri 6th Oct 2023 2:18am)
  • Yeah, lots of good stuff. I’ve seen big girls blouse live, good time by hailhail7 (Fri 6th Oct 2023 11:59pm)
