  • Ohh I’ll have to check them out by iracethesunhome (Tue 24th Nov 2020 9:14pm)
  • Maybe I get them on a bad day idk, I’ve seen reviews always complaining about the reception staff too. They always mess up something with my prescription happened several times with mine and when I call to have them help me they act like it’s my fault. by iracethesunhome (Tue 24th Nov 2020 9:16pm)
  • I think what they mean by going to the shops conflicting with right to live is that you like you yourself said are not likely to catch covid, great good for you, and because you aren’t likely you wanna go to the shops or the pub or whatever because why should you worry right? You’re safe. But the shops are closed or you have to wait a while longer and the pub only does takeout because maybe not everyone that works there is as safe as you are. There’s many shop workers who are at higher risk because of their age or health issues or maybe they live with someone who is at a higher risk and even tho the chance of this person getting covid isn’t high they just don’t want to risk passing it to their mother or grandmother or whoever they live with that’s at higher risk. If every person who is ‘safe’ from covid was able to live on their own had no responsibility of taking care of anyone at risk and worked at places like shops, pubs etc then some sort of normalcy could take place but that’s a luxury many people don’t have. I think thinking that ‘I’m safe therefore I should be able to do x y z’ is a very selfish and ignorant way of looking at things. by iracethesunhome (Sun 13th Dec 2020 5:46pm)
  • I should have added Ive only been in Glasgow a little over two years so don’t know much about good/crappy areas haha by iracethesunhome (Wed 23rd Dec 2020 1:25pm)
  • Yea I already know I’m outside of the catchment area for my GP I’m in the process of changing it. I’m mostly worried I’ll miss any vaccine information hahah. No idea how to reach them tho. by iracethesunhome (Sun 17th Jan 2021 9:33am)
  • Ohh perfect thank you by iracethesunhome (Sun 17th Jan 2021 11:22am)
  • Perfect! Thank you! by iracethesunhome (Sun 17th Jan 2021 2:34pm)
  • That’s frustrating! Maybe if it was the same street they were like ah close enough by iracethesunhome (Sun 17th Jan 2021 2:34pm)
  • Yea I was gonna register online but need my prescription done too so was gonna phone and ask if they can get that done this week too or if I should still get it from my old GP. Think I’m just gonna get it from my old one and pop in there to register at the end of the week. by iracethesunhome (Mon 18th Jan 2021 4:30pm)
  • Honestly the whole ‘don’t approach him as it may scare him’ is making me question this the most like he’s not a lost dog he’s a grown man out on the street I’m sure he’s used to people approaching him. ‘If you see him please contact the police ASAP’ would have been more what I’d expect from a missing persons post. by iracethesunhome (Mon 15th Feb 2021 1:00am)
  • I drive on the bridge everyday and it became a habit to avoid the holes. Was honestly surprised to see a big one on Great Western Road (past jet petrol station going towards town) was actually fixed ... again 🙄 by iracethesunhome (Sat 20th Mar 2021 5:43pm)
  • If it bothers you so much why don’t you shop online? by iracethesunhome (Sat 20th Mar 2021 5:55pm)
  • Exactly! Most of the time children don’t want to be there either & at the end of the day their children they have a lot to learn and understand (how to behave in public being one of them) and we’re adults, by now we should understand that children occasionally act out & if we go out we might ‘encounter’ a tantrum. If children stay at home all the time how will they learn how to behave in public? & if anyone is bothered by children in shops they can always take their own advice and shop online. by iracethesunhome (Sat 20th Mar 2021 6:01pm)
  • They aren’t the ones complaining by iracethesunhome (Sat 20th Mar 2021 6:57pm)
  • Thank you! by iracethesunhome (Sat 20th Mar 2021 9:14pm)
  • Ohh thanks that’s helpful! by iracethesunhome (Sat 20th Mar 2021 9:14pm)
  • I’m not gonna say the NHS is perfect, but nothing will ever convince me that the Polish healthcare system is better in any way shape or form. Unless you have money to go privately it’s unlikely you’ll get good treatment. The symptoms you described are symptoms of a concussion, which could (doesn’t have to be but could) be worsened by flying which I’m assuming you did to get to Poland. As a Polish person who has lived in the UK (England & Scotland) most of my life I find a lot of Polish people love to complain about everything here, the NHS, the government, quality of literary anything, police, school etc and how much better it is in Poland, (now I’m not saying this is you) but if they’re all so bothered by all that why are they still here, why did they even come here. by iracethesunhome (Sun 13th Jun 2021 9:21am)

  • Thanks! Exactly what I was looking for. Guess I’ll have to drive 😩 by iracethesunhome (Thu 6th Oct 2022 10:31pm)
  • Yea that’s usually my backup but it looks like the only tickets left are for the 6:30am or the 4pm bus which doesn’t really work for me. by iracethesunhome (Thu 6th Oct 2022 10:53pm)
  • Honestly any other time I would reschedule but I’ve got tickets for a show and I don’t want them going to waste by iracethesunhome (Fri 7th Oct 2022 7:05am)
  • Yea I didn’t realise they’ll stop completely I thought the strike would just mean reduced trains by iracethesunhome (Fri 7th Oct 2022 11:25am)
  • Got them! Must have been an issue yesterday as it wasn’t showing any. Thanks!! by iracethesunhome (Fri 7th Oct 2022 11:35am)
  • I got tickets for the city link bus! by iracethesunhome (Fri 7th Oct 2022 7:37pm)
  • Are you me ? I haven’t been on it in ages but used to do it all the time when I first moved by iracethesunhome (Sat 22nd Oct 2022 6:57pm)
  • When you live in a flat you just have to expect noise from neighbours. If it’s at ridiculous hours in the middle of the night sure you can complain but if it’s a 2 year old running in the middle of the day when you yourself also have a 2 year old you don’t have anything to complain about. by iracethesunhome (Sun 20th Nov 2022 7:13pm)
  • TKmaxx usually have some although they might be on the pricier side by iracethesunhome (Sat 10th Dec 2022 9:25pm)

  • Childline always looking for volunteers, they do want you to commit to a certain amount of sifts a year but it’s pretty flexible by iracethesunhome (Tue 31st Jan 2023 8:50am)
  • Your parking space by premier inn on the other side of the river. I think I paid around £7 for 4 hours when I went in the summer, and it’s a super close walk. by iracethesunhome (Tue 21st Feb 2023 10:28pm)
  • Oh anything like this would be awesome! by iracethesunhome (Thu 23rd Feb 2023 8:27am)

  • Dog jumped on the number 2 buss in Faifley, passengers took her to the police station at Clydebank. Maybe someone knows who the dog belongs to/where it ran away from. by iracethesunhome (Wed 22nd Mar 2023 11:49am)
  • Try contacting the cat cafe, one of the staff members does cat sitting and is occasionally able to take cats into his home. They might also know of other people. by iracethesunhome (Fri 19th May 2023 9:56pm)
  • I’m on a similar position tbh, lived here for almost five years and don’t really have any close friends in the city. I keep trying to force myself to either become a regular or go to a knitting night or something like that. Good luck and feel free to send a DM if you like. I’m 26 and a female btw by iracethesunhome (Tue 30th May 2023 8:46pm)
  • Not really a restaurant but a desert place, loop and scoop by iracethesunhome (Sat 18th Nov 2023 11:11pm)
  • Maybe I just don’t like churros then, to me they tested just the way frozen ones you can make at home do. Just wasn’t worth it by iracethesunhome (Sun 19th Nov 2023 11:44am)
  • Meh their ice cream is ok for me and there’s other ice cream places I’d rather go to like Nowita in Partick by iracethesunhome (Sun 19th Nov 2023 11:43am)
  • Sorry, the do to me 🤷🏼‍♀️ by iracethesunhome (Sun 19th Nov 2023 12:18pm)
  • I’m not saying they’re not made fresh I’m just saying that to me there’s absolutely no difference between the churros they make and frozen churros I can buy from the shops which makes them not worth it to me by iracethesunhome (Mon 20th Nov 2023 1:54pm)
