Got a week and a bit back at home before I visit my partner again. Going to attempt to sort out my pit of a room (wardrobes, drawers etc) that I said I’d organise in Lockdown #1 oops. Got a couple of walks planned with a friend for the next couple of days to keep myself occupied. Could be hearing back from a company I applied for after being jobless for almost a year in July. don’t walk in and ask for a trial shift, send them an email and ask if they are taking on but obviously formally. they will either ask you to email them back or come and hand it in personally. for your cv say how you’ve worked as part of a team in a busy environment and can learn quicky and also you are creative (along the lines of cocktails etc) (there’s loads of resources online too!). go for bar work outside of the city first (the favour a full driving license in the city mostly), dive bars are usually better in terms of hours and you don’t have to worry about getting a taxi/bus out of glasgow at a late hour or being stuck there (from personal experience). don’t sweat it if you don’t hear back tho, i’ve been applying to bar work (previous experience though) and haven’t heard anything back or there was someone better at the interview stage and that’s okay, you’ll find somewhere! by madamcherrie (Sat 12th Jun 2021 7:35pm)

Tabby cat last went out at 21:30pm on 02/01/2022 and hasn’t came home to the Johnstone Crescent area. It was quite stormy so hoping someone has taken him in and will return him. He is neutered and microchipped with all details up to date. Cat has green/yellow eyes, white mouth and black markings on his fur. He is a very friendly cat to everyone and this is our main concern. If you see him then please drop me a message of when and where including the time. If you see any posts that match the description on facebook, please send me a screenshot.
