  • I’d try avoid medications to be honest. It’s like putting a band aid on a deep wound. It will ease the bleeding but not solve it. Try push for time with a councilor instead. They’re easier to withdraw from when your feeling better. by patsy_505 (Mon 23rd Sep 2019 6:30pm)

  • It is 10 weeks long with two sessions a week both of which are two hours or you can do it once a week bit takes like 4 months rather than 2. Each one is around 250 quid and goes through the European framework for fluency (Beginner, intermediate, advanced) - composed of 8 courses all in. Seems reasonably priced and like I would benefit from other people and interaction to actually practice what is being learned. What was your experience on the PM one like? by patsy_505 (Tue 23rd Aug 2022 1:44pm)
  • Did you do it at a slow pace to suit your life or was A1 and A2 so sufficient that it required a full year? by patsy_505 (Tue 23rd Aug 2022 3:12pm)

  • They're shooting a movie about a bus that has to speed around the city, keeping its speed over 50, and if it's speed drops it will explode. I think its called the bus that couldn't slow down. by patsy_505 (Fri 2nd Sep 2022 12:35pm)

  • Nice one thanks - will likely be a weekend here and there just to scratch the itch now and then and as you say much cheaper than ownership. Is it easy to back out if for example weather canned all my plans or do you still have to take it out regardless? by patsy_505 (Tue 3rd Jan 2023 1:17pm)

  • Not sure if anyone meets in the real world anymore but I've had decent level of success on dating apps since moving here a year ago. Just take your profile a bit serious and set up a good one. There are always other options so a solid profile goes a long way by patsy_505 (Thu 29th Jun 2023 11:35pm)
  • I was having a conversation to this effect with a friend recently and as if to confirm exactly what we were saying some absolute grub littered right in front of us - just dropped an entire chippy on the ground and walked off. People are uneducated idiots who have been dragged up without discipline or consequence. Lack of council funding is an issue but people are the problem. Broken window theory playing out in plain sight. by patsy_505 (Fri 18th Aug 2023 6:40pm)
  • St Enoch should be knocked down and make Buchanan Street pedestrianised right the way down to the river. The riverside area is criminally underutilised in terms of bars, cafes, venues, whatever. Get the footfall there through making it easily accessible and the business will follow. Its been achieved in some many other major cities. by patsy_505 (Fri 1st Sep 2023 3:04pm)
