  • Glass bottles should be easy to get in most newsagents still. Not sure about vegan haggis pies but you can buy the pie cases / lids + macsween veggie haggis in the bigger supermarkets (tesco Maryhill etc) by ptelfer (Mon 3rd Feb 2020 5:18pm)
  • Was going to recommend the same. Lovely folk too. by ptelfer (Sun 16th Feb 2020 6:59am)

  • That wee section of the river couldn’t be more Glasgow if it tried. Science Centre/IMAX combo looking as glaikit as possible at all times, and the Tower never being open. The bell that never rang etc by ptelfer (Thu 30th Apr 2020 11:30am)
  • Yep that’s from west end looking towards city centre. The botanics event is wrapped up now by ptelfer (Tue 1st Dec 2020 8:10am)
  • Can buy the gear out Decathlon at Braehead. Might be worth renting before shelling out on the kit to make sure you enjoy it - can rent at the Loch Lomond sites on Balmaha/Rowardennan I’m sure. Loch Lomond / Loch Ard / Menteith Lake all good shouts. by ptelfer (Thu 22nd Jul 2021 2:30pm)
  • Western is closed for new members, next intake next May with a lengthy list to service. Arlington has average steam room / sauna facilities but the big draw is the Turkish suite (plenty pics of it if you google) by ptelfer (Mon 8th Nov 2021 6:44pm)
  • There’s some co-wheels vans that you should be able to sign up and rent for the day, don’t think age limit is 25. by ptelfer (Wed 23rd Feb 2022 11:23pm)
  • Only has 2 running at a time? (I drive this road weekly) by ptelfer (Fri 5th Aug 2022 10:25pm)
