  • Cheers man, might be a bit of a trek for me but I'll keep it on mind by pubkid (Mon 15th Jul 2019 6:14pm)
  • This sounds like my best option possibly cheers my man! Haven't heard of this place by pubkid (Mon 15th Jul 2019 6:13pm)
  • I'll have to keep this in mind for other times by pubkid (Mon 15th Jul 2019 6:16pm)
  • The hall could be a great shout for me actually cheers! by pubkid (Mon 15th Jul 2019 6:15pm)
  • Well then I'm sorted cause that's what I'm planning on seeing. It's an earlier kick off though so if the happened to show the killie game after then I'd probably watch that but guess I won't be able to anyway by pubkid (Mon 15th Jul 2019 6:15pm)
  • Brilliant, coopers would be first choice but I wasn't sure if they had Premier. Maybe pop my head in before hand to double check by pubkid (Mon 15th Jul 2019 9:37pm)
  • Saw him eyeing it up and just wanted to see how he'd get on. He caught me filming and went around the corner. I crossed the street and saw him go back at it to another bike. He spotted me again and went away. by pubkid (Thu 19th Sep 2019 7:09pm)
  • Surprised by the balls (or lack of brains) on him, in broad daylight around so many people. My flatmate had his bike pinched recently but that was worth quite a lot, so pretty sick of this shit. by pubkid (Thu 19th Sep 2019 7:13pm)
  • I wish mate. Part of me hoped he'd get it so I could yell at him, see him take off and then deck himself when the brakes don't work by pubkid (Thu 19th Sep 2019 7:40pm)
  • I did shitebag it thinking about it now. I was having a weird day and this was something to humour me at the time by pubkid (Thu 19th Sep 2019 10:24pm)
  • That seems to be the general consensus aye, looks like he was picking a bike off the right guy to not batter him by pubkid (Thu 19th Sep 2019 10:33pm)
  • He deserves it but the last thing I needed today was rolling on the floor with a scumbag by pubkid (Thu 19th Sep 2019 10:31pm)
  • Sorry I'm not that type of hero. I am the person though who films it and shares it with the authorities and local Facebook pages to warn others. And tbh I don't think a scrap is gonna stop him from stealing bikes and turn his life around, even though he deserves it. by pubkid (Thu 19th Sep 2019 11:30pm)
  • Aye agreed, I can't be arsed with the effort of taking it to the dump let alone scrapping someone for it by pubkid (Thu 19th Sep 2019 11:34pm)
  • Nah I get you man. A few weeks ago my flat mate got his bike stolen. It was locked up in the staircase and we heard it happen from in the flat. We bust out and tried to catch them but didn't even get a glimpse. That bike was dead expensive too so we were absolutely raging. When I saw this happening I thought I better get the cunt on camera first. Then shared it on some local fb groups to warn people but didn't expect the reaction I got. Been called spineless, what's wrong with this generation and their phones and to be kicked from the groups. Just got to ignore that and hope it helps someone else by pubkid (Fri 20th Sep 2019 12:03am)
  • Aye after my flatmates bike got nicked we got told that combination locks are the easiest to steal, some folk have cracked how to get into them by pubkid (Fri 20th Sep 2019 12:26am)
  • Just his hands. A mate told me combination locks are easy to feel how to open if you know what you're doing by pubkid (Fri 20th Sep 2019 10:28am)
  • Is there some adult evening class on how to survive as unwashed trash? by pubkid (Fri 20th Sep 2019 11:07am)
  • Aye I was in Stockholm recently and no one attached their bikes to any stands or walls or anything. Just put a lock around the wheel. Was thinking in Glasgow no chance that's getting swooped up and the lock will get broken in some den by pubkid (Fri 20th Sep 2019 4:25pm)
  • Will definitely have a look into that! Or wait for when I end up getting a better bike by pubkid (Sun 22nd Sep 2019 4:18pm)
  • Cheers for the message I'll check him out! by pubkid (Mon 29th Jun 2020 8:34pm)

  • Brilliant mate thanks I'll check him out! by pubkid (Mon 29th Jun 2020 8:34pm)
  • Ooft mate. I really appreciate hearing this cause I've seen a few places with them. With the extra added stress of the covid situation I don't wanna be dealing with crappy agencies. by pubkid (Mon 29th Jun 2020 9:12pm)
  • That's what has lead me to making this post. It's a good read. Especially the one by NOTaFAKEreviewer by pubkid (Mon 29th Jun 2020 9:39pm)
  • Definitely no matter who we go with taking photos and videos of the property in day 1. by pubkid (Mon 29th Jun 2020 9:40pm)
  • Great shout mate. Absolutely need to make sure I'm on top of things otherwise they'll think they can get away with what they want. by pubkid (Mon 29th Jun 2020 10:26pm)
  • Good to know you've had it hassle free so far anyway! Best of luck though when you leave though because with most agencies that seems to be when the biggest issues arise. by pubkid (Mon 29th Jun 2020 10:34pm)
  • I'm assuming the business is called Brian's school of motoring and one of their instructors are called Barry? Unless he got the name mixed up? by pubkid (Mon 29th Jun 2020 10:33pm)
  • That doesn't sound like suitable conditions to be in at all. I'll look into KBM but my partner has had them before and there was an issue right at the end of their tenancy. Not so sure if it's more of the landlords or the agencies fault but basically they arranged to repaint the whole flat during their exam period. They asked if it could be rearranged and were actually moving out in less than a month but were told that it was in the tenants benefit and would make the flat look pretty. Obviously bull and they were trying to get it ready to be sold/leased again quickly. They then had issues getting the full deposit back. I do appreciate your comment though definitely and hope nothing similar happens near the end of your tenancy mate. by pubkid (Mon 29th Jun 2020 10:42pm)
  • I used to live on the third floor and my flat mate locked his bike on the staircase of the close. We heard someone cut the lock in a second and run down the stairs with it. A really good lock is important. by pubkid (Mon 16th Nov 2020 1:53pm)

  • This. This is my favourite place. I loved getting a roll from here a couple of years ago. But I think it got taken over/new owners? And I wasn't sure if I could vouch for it anymore by pubkid (Thu 26th Aug 2021 8:56am)

  • This happened to a colleague of mine a while ago I couldn’t believe it. I worked at a Hilton in Glasgow and I think about 4 years ago some guy broke in through the back door. Went into the ladies staff room and picked up some car keys. Left without getting spotted and sped off with the car. Can’t remember the result of it but I couldn’t believe someone pulled it off so easily. Hope you find the guy that did it by pubkid (Thu 23rd Mar 2023 8:26pm)
