  • A work colleague of mine lived in Palmer Ave and knows some people in Baldwin. She says some folk there said their houses are subsiding and getting £100k a piece to move out. Second hand info, but thought I'd pass or on just in case. I'm just off Clobberhill and hoping I'm ok! by ronnietucker (Fri 28th Feb 2020 2:21pm)
  • You can cycle down the towpath beside the Forth & Clyde canal down to Bowling Harbour. Then go from Bowling down the short path to the roundabout (between Bowling and Dumbarton). Then from the roundabout you can take the path right up to Loch Lomond. I did that a couple of years ago and visited the Maid of the Loch ship that's moored up there. Grabbed a coffee and a sanny. Doesn't take all that long from Bowling to Loch Lomond. I do recommend you use something like Google Maps though. As once you get near Dumbarton (and somewhere else, can't remember the name) you're off the path and in the city and need to find the path again to carry on. The path is up the side of the River Leven (and through a few cow fields, but it's still part of the pathway). by ronnietucker (Sun 7th Jun 2020 10:33am)
  • Not just Primark, but how's it going to work with people going into a shop, trying on six different items and putting them all back? Surely that'll spread the virus?? by ronnietucker (Mon 29th Jun 2020 1:34pm)
  • Dunno if it's open but the Copy & Print Shop is on Gt Western Road (near the Botanic Gardens). It used to be on Gibson Street. by ronnietucker (Wed 15th Jul 2020 1:27pm)

  • Aye, it's £120, but it doesn't take up that much space and definitely works. [https://smile.amazon.co.uk/FOLA-Portable-Electric-Clothes-Wardrobe/dp/B0BJ8QNMG8/](https://smile.amazon.co.uk/FOLA-Portable-Electric-Clothes-Wardrobe/dp/B0BJ8QNMG8/) by ronnietucker (Sun 13th Nov 2022 3:46pm)
