  • I broke someone’s nose there! by sohksy (Sat 9th Mar 2019 9:36am)
  • So I'm looking for fun activities to do in Glasgow that involve drinking, but aren't all about the drinking (I know, call me crazy). For example I've seen that you can do pottery and BYOB and there's wine and canvas painting classes. Anything else like that out there? by sohksy (Thu 1st Aug 2019 9:36am)
  • Exactly! I have people to do stuff with, just looking for stuff to do really! I'm always up for meeting new people though so I will check that out. Thanks! by sohksy (Thu 1st Aug 2019 9:45am)
  • Can't decide what to name my world of warcraft character, help please https://www.strawpoll.me/21146558/r by sohksy (Fri 23rd Oct 2020 10:06am)
  • Ahh that makes sense! Cheers by sohksy (Tue 6th Apr 2021 8:05am)
  • Do you want a free monstera? The things almost 5ft high and I'm scared it's going to gain sentience and jab me. by sohksy (Wed 21st Jul 2021 4:05pm)
  • Good shout. I don't know the depot sorry although one time the person from the Cleansing department gave the depot supervisor my number to discuss it with him. He never did of course. by sohksy (Thu 18th Nov 2021 12:03pm)
  • Thanks for the advice, I'll get in touch with a councillor. by sohksy (Thu 18th Nov 2021 12:05pm)
  • Tried that second link before I came here - it doesn't seem to show how to deal with complaints to the cleansing department. by sohksy (Thu 18th Nov 2021 1:13pm)
  • I have e-mailed them all now and already had a reply from one from their office saying they are looking into it. Great advice mate thank you. by sohksy (Thu 18th Nov 2021 2:30pm)
  • Yes! I am so sorry about the mess, I have contacted the councillors now so hopefully something gets done. by sohksy (Thu 18th Nov 2021 4:44pm)
  • I detailed and specified all the items to the letter, even the carboard that some of the items were placed in was listed to avoid this issue. Obviously people have added stuff to the pile now but that could have been avoided if they did the collection when I put the request in. by sohksy (Thu 18th Nov 2021 4:48pm)
  • You are incorrect. This is domestic waste and it makes that clear on the council website. by sohksy (Fri 19th Nov 2021 12:38pm)
  • Nice one, cheers mate by sohksy (Wed 22nd Feb 2023 3:56pm)
  • Class! Cheers mate by sohksy (Wed 22nd Feb 2023 10:08pm)
  • Whack your address into this site https://bidb.uk/ Then turn on filters and you should see who you are able to get conected with. Bear in mind CityFibre have been doing a massive gigabit fibre roll out in Glasgow, you don't need to be stuck with BT or Virgin anymore. by sohksy (Thu 23rd Mar 2023 1:29pm)
  • CityFibre will be availble in Battlefield in 3-6 months. The vans they're seeing are Hyperoptic's not CityFibre. by sohksy (Thu 23rd Mar 2023 1:46pm)
  • DM me your street name and I'll tell you when you can get CityFibre by sohksy (Thu 23rd Mar 2023 1:50pm)
  • Cityfibre branded vans are only used by their faults/failed install team, all of their build is done by contractors that dont use their signage. If you saw a Cityfibre van down that bit it's because they were working on a fault on their commercial network (or they were just getting a scran). You'll see them building in that area in the next few months though. by sohksy (Thu 23rd Mar 2023 11:19pm)
  • Big Bear and Burnfield are only open around the weekends. Don't go there today OP. by sohksy (Tue 4th Apr 2023 11:52am)
  • What industry? Telecoms/Utilities, Enviromental, Housing? by sohksy (Wed 26th Jul 2023 9:19am)
  • Got you. Seems similar to Telecoms in terms of wages. I make a bit (~5k) less but I'm a technical specialist so no management, which is well worth the trade off for me! by sohksy (Wed 26th Jul 2023 9:29am)
  • That will be due to virgin media not burying their cable at the correct depth. CityFibre will quite rightly put you on to Virgin for compensation. Virgin are notorious for this. by sohksy (Wed 13th Sep 2023 7:33pm)
  • It will take much longer than it has for builds that completed some time ago. So the people Anniesland/Giffnock etc saying weeks/a few months for them isn't going to happen for us unfortauntely. Basically due to the telecoms market crash the contractors will hold completed areas at ransom to CityFibre as they aren't giving out any more work. It's all politics basically. by sohksy (Wed 13th Sep 2023 7:38pm)
  • I'll buy Pollok House so there is a buffer zone by sohksy (Thu 14th Sep 2023 3:37pm)
