  • He's opened up a coffee shop in the south side. It's not closed down, I popped in a few weeks ago. There were two nice ladies working there and it was quite busy. It's actually a decent cafe believe it or not. And it's definitely the one he owns because my pal who lives nearby spoke to him when it just opened. Tbf she did say she was going to avoid it after talking to him 🤣 by somewot_anonymous (Fri 13th May 2022 10:41am)
  • Oh, I didn't know that but it makes sense after hearing about his shenanigans from various sources by somewot_anonymous (Fri 13th May 2022 11:59am)
  • Yeah, she's gonna go back now she knows it's got new owners by somewot_anonymous (Fri 13th May 2022 11:15pm)
  • Also report him to deliveroo I wouldn't want him delivering my scran, knowing where I live, what a creepy bastard by somewot_anonymous (Tue 17th May 2022 8:54pm)
  • Me and my pal were flashed by a guy wearing a pink thong in sauchiehall Street. He must have been following us because about half an hour later we were walking past bath lane and he was vigorously wanking while looking at us. All this at about 2 in the afternoon. So virtual flashing is less extreme if you compare it to that story BUT it should definitly be reported. Its disgusting and can make women feel very unsafe and vulnerable. That guy was later arrested for flashing school girls. I know you're a guy but shit like that can be terrifying for lone women. I know I felt sick to the stomach after witnessing mr pink thong going at it, and i was wirh my pal. I'm just glad it was me and not some younger girls walking past. by somewot_anonymous (Tue 17th May 2022 9:43pm)

  • Yeah, good south indian food (indian/Pakistani) by somewot_anonymous (Sat 11th Jun 2022 6:06pm)
  • Also, it's advertised as "indian cuisine" I know the owner and he classes it as an Indian restaurant. No offense but if it was advertised as "Pakistani food" I doubt as many people would go as most are looking for authentic INDIAN food. by somewot_anonymous (Sat 11th Jun 2022 6:19pm)
  • Just stating facts and FYI the chef is Indian so you're talking out your arse by somewot_anonymous (Sat 11th Jun 2022 6:33pm)

  • Yeah definitely speak to your work. A similar thing happened to a colleague of mine. He didn't tell management or HR (just some colleagues he was close to) and it got back to the manager that he was sleeping in a park due to domestic issues. The manager immediately called HR who got him a hotel until he got back on his feet. Your employer may not do the same but it's definitely worth a shot. Good luck, pal! by somewot_anonymous (Sun 19th Jun 2022 2:06pm)

  • If she's asymptomatic she probably won't be too contagious by somewot_anonymous (Fri 24th Jun 2022 3:19pm)
  • What I mean is she'll obviously be less contagious than if she was sneezing and coughing. That's just common logic. by somewot_anonymous (Fri 24th Jun 2022 4:44pm)
  • People are idiots, and I don't mean you. Most people don't test unless they have symptoms so for all they know they're cutting about with covid, acting all high and mighty. "Put your mask on". "OK Nicola" "Take it off" "OK Nicola". Can't think for themselves. by somewot_anonymous (Fri 24th Jun 2022 5:49pm)
  • Exactly, so you're not protecting others. That's common knowledge now. It was bull. by somewot_anonymous (Fri 24th Jun 2022 5:50pm)
  • Agreed! by somewot_anonymous (Fri 24th Jun 2022 6:02pm)
  • I heard the qmu now has a metal bar by somewot_anonymous (Fri 24th Jun 2022 6:35pm)
  • I know, it's exhausting and also most people don't test if they don't have symptoms so some of these virtue signallers are probably cutting about with covid, acting all high and mighty by somewot_anonymous (Fri 24th Jun 2022 7:16pm)
  • Yeah, well I guess the solution is everyone to keep testing even if they're feeling fine 🙄 Test if you have symptoms. If not, live your life. Also I had asymptomatic covid and didn't pass it on to anyone, even people I was in VERY close proximity to eg. in a car with/ small booth. Noone caught it from me, so i clearly wasnt contagious. Only reason I tested was because my friend had symptoms. Won't be testing again unless I have symptoms. Downvote all you want. by somewot_anonymous (Fri 24th Jun 2022 7:31pm)
  • Oh right, fair enough. The information constantly contradicted itself and changed so I'm just going to go with the common sense approach. by somewot_anonymous (Fri 24th Jun 2022 7:39pm)
  • I know A guy at my work put a mask on to walk 2 metres to the bin, walked back to his desk and took it off again. We were the only team in. When I asked him why he did that, he said "it's the rules". People really can't think for themselves. by somewot_anonymous (Fri 24th Jun 2022 8:17pm)
  • Keep you you windows open or say to them "Have you been smelling a strong weed smell lately? I heard a couple of neighbours complaining about it." Maybe that'll make them smoke outside. Unless they're the type not to care, then you're screwed. by somewot_anonymous (Sun 26th Jun 2022 1:28am)

  • I would also recommend pure gym. I was nervous about going as I'd never been to a gym in my life but I joined a couple of classes to begin with. They're included in the 19.99 monthly subscription. The app also tell you how many people are at the gym at any given time so you can check to see if it's busy or not. I prefer to go when it's quieter. by somewot_anonymous (Sat 9th Jul 2022 10:15am)
  • This happened to me. I just told them I wouldn't have childcare and they crossed my name off the list. No issues at all. by somewot_anonymous (Wed 13th Jul 2022 5:41pm)

  • Savoy centre have a great place, decently priced. You can normally just walk in without an appointment. by somewot_anonymous (Mon 25th Jul 2022 9:43pm)
  • Don't worry about it. You should maybe join a salsa class or something like that by somewot_anonymous (Fri 29th Jul 2022 2:49pm)
  • It will take you out of your comfort zone and force you to interact with people. Mango and boteco do salsa nights. I don't think it's particularly random. by somewot_anonymous (Fri 29th Jul 2022 2:57pm)
  • Yeah I thought that might be the case. Good luck! 😊 by somewot_anonymous (Fri 29th Jul 2022 3:04pm)
  • I was just trying to be nice and now I feel attacked. I don't know if you mean it as you mentioned autism but you come across quite rude. Maybe sort out your attitude and how you interact with people. by somewot_anonymous (Fri 29th Jul 2022 3:01pm)
  • It was indeed sincere. Shouldn't have bothered. by somewot_anonymous (Fri 29th Jul 2022 3:59pm)
  • Well yes, it comes across as rude. I don't think I'm being ignorant as this post is in regards to how you can make friends. Coming across as rude whether you intend to or not isn't going to do you any favours. I was honestly just trying to help. If you're autistic I can sympathise but in the real world if you come across rude and short tempered you're going to struggle making friends regardless of autism. by somewot_anonymous (Fri 29th Jul 2022 4:04pm)
  • 👍 by somewot_anonymous (Fri 29th Jul 2022 6:23pm)
  • I'm not the one with the problem. And no I don't mean your autism. Stop using it as an excuse to justify your shitty behaviour. by somewot_anonymous (Fri 29th Jul 2022 7:13pm)
  • I really am 😅 Not sure how it got to this by somewot_anonymous (Fri 29th Jul 2022 10:29pm)

  • Needs to get Big Innes by somewot_anonymous (Tue 2nd Aug 2022 11:32pm)
  • I love it in there! It's my go to but not a great variety of food. Their cheese and onion toasties lovely but it's £4.50 so with a coffee over £7. Proper bump! I sometimes get a tesco meal deal and eat it there, they don't usually mind if you've bought a coffee. The icafe on Woodlands Road do decent food but again, not the cheapest. by somewot_anonymous (Mon 8th Aug 2022 3:51pm)

  • Yeah, they're kind of hobbitee by somewot_anonymous (Fri 12th Aug 2022 11:26pm)
  • Ahah, there was a simple backing track but the metal music definitely suits it more. I was a bit annoyed at the metal music when I was recording it but when I listened to it back it sounded pretty good. I'm now a fan 😅 by somewot_anonymous (Sun 28th Aug 2022 1:15am)
  • The backing music is mainly from some teenagers who were near me. It just weirdly went together with the guy's song. by somewot_anonymous (Sun 28th Aug 2022 1:22am)
  • It was actually my sister who wanted to know. I sent her this on WhatsApp after I'd left. by somewot_anonymous (Sun 28th Aug 2022 8:40am)

  • I had an infestation and put a plastic bag in the fridge where I put any food waste. When it's full(ish) I just take it outside. Obviously only did this till they were all gone. Also kept all fruit and veg in the fridge. Basically just don't leave any food lying about by somewot_anonymous (Thu 8th Sep 2022 9:23pm)
  • Came here to say this. by somewot_anonymous (Thu 15th Sep 2022 11:37pm)
  • I'm an Indian glasgwegian and you don't know how many people look surprised when they hear me speak 😑 I've even had a guy I was seeing say "You sound so scottish", knowing damn well I was born here. Tbh I wouldn't call most of them racist, it's really mainly ignorance. Like an old lady in sainsburys trying to be nice telling me how much she loved curry and a guy trying to flirt by saying he "likes chicken tikka masala". Yes really. I just nodded and smiled. It wasn't coming from a bad place and that's what people need to understand. It's not all "racist". Also when my best pals gran met me for first time she said "wee paki lassi" 😅. My pal was mortified and said "Gran you can't say that!" And she was like "How no?" Sorry but I was howling. You just need to educate people rather then calling them racist....unless they are racist then they can do one. by somewot_anonymous (Tue 20th Sep 2022 8:43pm)
  • Exactly. You just have to have a wee chat with them and more often than not it's all good. No need for to take her to the gallows for racism 😅 by somewot_anonymous (Tue 20th Sep 2022 9:01pm)
  • I know 😑 by somewot_anonymous (Tue 20th Sep 2022 9:58pm)
  • I disagree. There absolutely is a big difference in my opinion. My dad lived in Possil in the late 70s and was called all sorts, including having his windows smashed and being spat at due to the colour of his skin. There is a big difference in that sort of behaviour and a wee old lady telling me she likes curry. These situations should be dealt with differently. Also, I'm sick of people being offended on others behalf. Calling everything racist trivialises real racism, which in my opinion is thinking people of another colour are lesser than you. Like I said most people just need a wee educational chat if they say something inappropriate. by somewot_anonymous (Wed 21st Sep 2022 9:41am)
  • We'll agree to disagree. I'm a POC and I've experienced both sides of the coin, as have my family, so I think I know the difference 👍 by somewot_anonymous (Wed 21st Sep 2022 10:30am)

  • It's strange how people are still too scared to talk about how the lockdowns did far more bad than good. Mental health is just one aspect. Hundreds of businesses failed, over 50,000 people had late cancer diagnosisis. The cancer could have been treated if they had seen their doctor earlier. But no, due to covid they were given their diagnosis too late and have suffered for it. All this inflation, the energy bills etc are all a knock on effect of these ridiculous, unjustified measures. We'll be paying for it for many years. The death rate of covid is 0.3%. The average of age of death (according to the ONS website) in the UK is 81 So we can deduce that of that 0.3% of people that die from covid, the average age is 81. I am NOT a conspiracy theorist. These are facts. You don't see this on this on the mainstream media because they know they messed up big time . Vaccine passports. Segregation. Divide and conquer. It happens time and time again. by somewot_anonymous (Sat 15th Oct 2022 11:31pm)
