  • Roots & Fruits have nice local veg, and the café next door on Great Western Rd. has organics. by stolenpuppy (Sun 27th Oct 2019 1:21pm)
  • How would you rank Berlin? In Glasgow now, have always loved spending time in Berlin and thinking of moving eventually. by stolenpuppy (Sun 15th Dec 2019 7:59pm)
  • I can agree, I feel the same way. It doesn't rain *that* much, just a little bit, quite often. Then again, people say it's the worst in January/February, so perhaps let's check in again next spring! Aha by stolenpuppy (Sun 15th Dec 2019 7:57pm)
  • Yeah, I was thinking within the next year or two. Would you mind elaborating on what parts about each city, Glasgow vs Berlin, you've liked/disliked and how they compare to each other? Very curious. by stolenpuppy (Thu 19th Dec 2019 6:52am)
  • How lovely! by stolenpuppy (Sat 21st Dec 2019 2:50pm)

  • It’s 5 something for the 77, takes about an hour though so it’s tedious but well spent. by stolenpuppy (Mon 10th Feb 2020 8:28pm)
  • I’ve paid 14 for an Uber to the west end. Makes much more sense when you’re with a buddy. by stolenpuppy (Mon 10th Feb 2020 8:30pm)

  • > Face intae my palm. Would advise against this kind of behaviour. Please wash your hands for at least 20 sec before touching your face! by stolenpuppy (Fri 20th Mar 2020 11:42am)
  • I live near uni and pay a little under 700 for a 1bed. Check the EPC rating (ideally > C) and make sure you have double-glazed windows. Your heating bills will be less if you live above other flats and if your flat is able to contain the heat. Also, keep in mind that wifi contracts are usually 12+mo. by stolenpuppy (Fri 20th Mar 2020 11:55am)
  • For sure, feel free to message me if you need any more advice! I've got some issues with my current housing so my insights might be a bit negative, but things to keep in mind nonetheless. One more thing - private landlords don't need to do much to get registered as such. If I could go back in time, I'd have asked for a reference or two from previous tenants. by stolenpuppy (Fri 20th Mar 2020 6:48pm)
  • My heart felt funny and I shed a wee tear, whole block was clangin pots. by stolenpuppy (Fri 27th Mar 2020 10:04am)
  • how're they doing? Also, where/how did they get tested? by stolenpuppy (Sat 28th Mar 2020 2:11pm)
  • I'm sorry about this, my heart goes out to her... Was she hospitalized? by stolenpuppy (Sat 28th Mar 2020 2:17pm)
  • True. I do find it's easier with liquid detergent (versus powder), if you must handwash. Or a bar of soap. by stolenpuppy (Thu 2nd Apr 2020 6:35pm)
  • Were'd you go? I'm holding off another couple days but it's becoming inevitable. by stolenpuppy (Sat 4th Apr 2020 12:38pm)
  • Also, just found out a friend had gone to [Majestic Laundrette in Finnieston](https://www.google.com/maps/place/Majestic+Laundrette/@55.8649943,-4.2850405,20z/data=!4m5!3m4!1s0x488845d4f10c0083:0x61b1e29131e9fd98!8m2!3d55.865003!4d-4.2846546) a few days ago, so they're open, if that isn't too far for you. Don't know if you're still looking. by stolenpuppy (Sat 4th Apr 2020 1:24pm)

  • Ooof, that quote hit me hard as a supporter who stayed home last weekend. Still quite torn. by stolenpuppy (Sat 13th Jun 2020 12:19pm)
  • I feel this so hard. Wake up, get dressed, make a coffee, ready to roll ...and remember that I'm not going anywhere, sit down again, alone, in the same damn plastic kitchen seat where I've set up my workstation. I've always liked working from home but it's nice to work around people sometimes as well, and I miss having that option. by stolenpuppy (Mon 29th Jun 2020 12:14pm)

  • I'm having issues with SP as well, harassing me daily since February despite my best efforts to try to resolve it. How does one get "the energy ombudsman involved"? Nearing my wits end, thanks in advance. by stolenpuppy (Wed 25th Nov 2020 11:55am)
