  • The one prior to this citation I ignored and they then sent a second letter that was far more threatening and I got a fright so now im like a cat that’s running out of nine life’s at this point. I’ve been summoned 5 times so far and I’ve avoided it for four. So im just ducking it and doing it to get it over and done with. But yes I’ve been told to ignore and nothing happens but this time was different by toebeansnobeans (Wed 13th Jul 2022 1:52pm)
  • I’ve already answered the call and basically said fine I’ll go. Childcare issues aren’t a valid reason unfortunately. I’ve googled and researched and dodged the life out of this civic duty unfortunately. As long as I am done for the day by 4 I should be fine. by toebeansnobeans (Wed 13th Jul 2022 2:28pm)
  • Thanks for your reply. That’s reassuring. The whole process is confusing. I have no idea if I’ve been picked, or if I will be picked. Or if I’m not picked. Or if I am picked but won’t be needed in the end the whole not knowing and having to navigate your life round the process is a bit annoying to say the least. by toebeansnobeans (Wed 13th Jul 2022 2:31pm)
  • Very insightful thank you!. When you have a child/children and no family it’s hard to commit to anything. And this is just an extra thing to juggle plus I’m 7 months pregnant but if I’m chosen I’ll go and get it over with and hopefully they will leave me alone for the next few years at least 😂 by toebeansnobeans (Wed 13th Jul 2022 3:03pm)
  • I have the RingGo app for when I’ve used the firpark street for appointments and it is handy and I’ve used wishart once for parking. But found it busier at times during the day so always use firpark. But thought wishart was also a three hour max stay? by toebeansnobeans (Sun 2nd Oct 2022 12:04pm)
  • Partner is very anti public transport, posh prick. He will want to do the heroic drive. by toebeansnobeans (Sun 2nd Oct 2022 12:05pm)
  • Sounds like wishart street is the best option. Or only sensible option. Bit shite hospitals don’t have the own actual car parks but it is what it is. I’ll be birthing a human so I’ve decided my partner can worry about parking logistics. He can leave me at the entrance mooing like a cow while he sorts the parking and the bags. Least he can do I suppose by toebeansnobeans (Sun 2nd Oct 2022 12:21pm)
  • Thanks for replying. The only number I can see is a number on my next appointment letter (number for appointment cancellations) will call there tomorrow and see if they can help. All my notes are online now, badger notes app. And it’s just maternity assessment at the Princess royal that’s listed. I sincerely hope I can get a replacement matb1 because If I can’t I am screwed. I’m in touch with my union about this and they are not happy but work still refuse to accept the photos of the matb1. Raging by toebeansnobeans (Sun 9th Oct 2022 9:59pm)
  • Are you Glasgow based? I read on google different nhs trusts are stricter or lenient than others? Also was it your midwife that issued the replacement? by toebeansnobeans (Sun 9th Oct 2022 10:18pm)
  • I’m a member of usdaw union. And have spoken with them. They’ve been really good also. But unfortunately my employer won’t budge. by toebeansnobeans (Sun 9th Oct 2022 10:38pm)
