  • All estate agents are all complete arseholes and will mess you about. by Bogdoy69 (Thu 15th Apr 2021 12:27pm)
  • Literally just posted about this myself. Its unreal that they think they are conveying any coherent message whatsoever. All I could find is that they are the anti 5G/Vaccine lot, led by some self-righteous manchild, Robert Sproul. Cunts need a slap. by Bogdoy69 (Thu 15th Apr 2021 12:30pm)
  • Free speech does not entitle you to go about shouting through a megaphone ya complete fuckin lemon by Bogdoy69 (Thu 15th Apr 2021 1:09pm)
  • People were forced to fight back against a sneaky cunt move from the home office. They forced their hand. No one wants to stand out in the street for hours for no reason. by Bogdoy69 (Fri 14th May 2021 5:04pm)
  • They really have to compensate businesses that don't have outside seating that have just stocked up to open next week. Haven't heard of any considerations toward restaurants in this position. by Bogdoy69 (Fri 14th May 2021 5:01pm)
  • Suppose that's a good way to look at it, if you're allergic to self-awareness. by Bogdoy69 (Fri 14th May 2021 5:06pm)
  • Do you have a source for this? Cheers by Bogdoy69 (Fri 14th May 2021 8:50pm)
  • Rightfully? Explain that please by Bogdoy69 (Fri 14th May 2021 9:41pm)
  • No idea why everyone seems to think you dont get your tips in this thread. Ive worked in hospo for nearly a decade and its a rarity that it doesnt go to staff. No idea where your getting this "quite often" shite. Never seen a company take a cut unless its for breakages, which is shite but still rare. by Bogdoy69 (Mon 1st Nov 2021 12:19pm)
  • In the restaurant i work, not enough people paying cash anymore, which means we couldn't divvy out tips in cash anymore without having to take money out the bank account which eventually gets HMRC on your case. If they find out you huvnae been paying taxes on tips then every staff member gets royally fucked. So we add 10% to every bill now and pay our taxes. It says it on the menu, it can be removed if you like and anyone who tips above it, is reminded that the 10% has already been added. We work hard long hours in the service industry for businesses that run very tight margins. Please understand that there may often be reasons for changes like this that you are not aware of. These are odd times and we are adapting to get by. by Bogdoy69 (Mon 1st Nov 2021 12:14pm)
  • No wonder so many of us are leaving the trade with shite people are spouting ITT. Work like fuck to please people that haven't offered a shred of understanding thoughout all this pish. by Bogdoy69 (Mon 1st Nov 2021 12:28pm)
  • Dont open a bar or restaurant because you havent ever worked in one. The reason we share our tips is because we are a team. The chefs contribute to making your time there so they get a small cut (no tips for bad food even if service is good) the bartenders chat to folk and serve drinks perhaps before they are seates and eventually get a bill, working hard to get good drinks and cocktails out (long waits bad for tips) and each server helps each other out. Everyone contributes to you helping your server at your table and we all get a cut because we work as a team. Tipping individuals doesnt incentivise that and that affects your service at the end of the day. by Bogdoy69 (Mon 1st Nov 2021 12:25pm)
  • Omfg 🤦‍♂️ You're tray is returned because you first get a bill. Once we take that away it is returned with your *receipt* and any change you have left. If theres no change then its a tray with a receipt on it. The fucking absolute lemons you have to deal with, thinking you're trying to squeeze tips out them for GIVING THEM THE RECEIPT. Aye great policy mate 👏 by Bogdoy69 (Mon 1st Nov 2021 12:33pm)
  • So if you have waitress doing table service and taking out all the drinks, bartenders don't get a cut? by Bogdoy69 (Mon 1st Nov 2021 12:57pm)
  • On a bike on my way to work ya fuckin lemon by Bogdoy69 (Tue 16th Nov 2021 3:27pm)
  • It was where they had set up checkpoints on a pedestrian bridge that i passed every day to work. They had polis on each side of the bridge and they had left piles of shite like this on both sides as well. So aye, maybe it was the polis ya dafty. by Bogdoy69 (Tue 16th Nov 2021 3:26pm)
  • Whats your solution then? Ride around on my bike with bin bags while i quietly clean up after the police? Posting a picture is, in fact, part of the solution to police being held accountable for acting like weans by Bogdoy69 (Tue 16th Nov 2021 3:53pm)
  • Saw them posted up there everyday over COP, they had metal gates set up on both sides of the bridge with polis sitting at them by Bogdoy69 (Tue 16th Nov 2021 3:55pm)
  • >You're not a hero. You're not inspiring anyone. The place isn't any better because of you. Wtf are you even on about ya dafty. Its a picture of a hypocrisy, its notable enough to put on the sub so people can see that hypocrisy in there locality. Its relevant to people. >If you think this is a solution you aren't even aware of the problem. Please enlighten me mate cause i fail to see how taking a picture of an authoritative figure who supposedly has a duty to society and is supposed follow their own rules failing to clear up makes me a lazy bastard. >Who is holding the police accountable now that your hot pic has surfaced? What is your constructive alternative mate? Say nothing at all? by Bogdoy69 (Tue 16th Nov 2021 4:08pm)
  • Sorry what do you not understand about being on a bike and having a fucking job? I dont carry bin bags with me and its NOT MY SHITE. Have you ever had a job? Do you know that you typically have to turn up on time? If i was sitting for days and piles of rubbish were piling up *that I created* I might think of taking a binbag with me one of those days to clear up after myself. You know because i dont leave things at my arse. Thats the point you absolute bootlicking imbecile. by Bogdoy69 (Tue 16th Nov 2021 4:19pm)
  • Time it takes to stop and take a picture: 20 seconds Time it takes to cycle to a shop, get a bin bag, come back to clear someone elses shite, cycle with a bin bag (???) : 15-20 mins? Who knows because its a completely fucking unreasonable thing to suggest. My job is irrelevant but what it certainly doesnt entail is cleaning up after people who are paid by my taxes to stop others from leaving a mess around my city. Basic stuff here, not that you would understand as you're just as unreasonable as the lazy bastards that had all of 2 weeks to organise a bin bag between them to clean up their own mess. by Bogdoy69 (Tue 16th Nov 2021 4:48pm)
  • No point arguing with such a fucking bootlicking idiot by Bogdoy69 (Wed 17th Nov 2021 2:27am)
