  • What's wrong with posting the registration plate? by Colacolaman (Wed 25th Aug 2021 4:42pm)
  • It depends on how the data is being used. If the reg was with someone name and DOB then that would be identifiable but on its own it's surely just public record, it's displayed on every register vehicle in the country (not an expert). by Colacolaman (Wed 25th Aug 2021 5:45pm)

  • Genuine question: Where are all of these world leaders staying when they're in Glasgow? From what I can see only Putin isn't attending from the 15 biggest names in world politics. I'd assume they're all living in separate locations across the central belt but I just can't imagine Macron and Trudeau etc sharing a hotel by Colacolaman (Sun 24th Oct 2021 9:50am)

  • Anniesland itself has one bar and it's a Wetherspoons. There's another two within 15 minutes walking of there that I can think of. The big plus point about Anniesland is that it's a ten minute drive from the west end and about 4 stops on the train from the city centre. Nice enough area, Jordanhill next door is nicer, knightswood is worse. by Colacolaman (Thu 12th May 2022 4:13pm)
  • Completely forgot about Lock 27, a good spot. I was thinking of Three Craws (I think) and GWR. by Colacolaman (Thu 12th May 2022 4:28pm)

  • Are they definitely speed cameras? Although, I can't quite work out what they are if they're not... by Colacolaman (Fri 27th May 2022 3:42pm)
  • Aye but there are other minimum wage jobs you don't tip that arguably do more work or at least the same level. Off the top of my head I'm think supermarkets and the reservoir dogs argument of McDonald's staff. by Colacolaman (Tue 19th Jul 2022 8:15pm)
  • Can confirm Edge is still about. Fiver a session and it's still going strong. Would definitely recommend here OP. by Colacolaman (Fri 29th Jul 2022 2:28pm)
  • Depends on what class. They do alot of conditioning stuff but they also cover footwork, bags and pads. I'd say it's quite 50/50 if you're just wee Jimmy on the street but the boys there who are aspiring boxers are in the ring sparring by Colacolaman (Fri 29th Jul 2022 3:45pm)

  • Nuffield on Minerva Way, Finnieston is usually pretty quiet if you go early (before 9) weekdays. It's busy in the evenings from my experience. Also, not that anyone would be caring what you're upto but the gym is enormous (upstairs, downstairs and high ceilings) so you're unlikely to be caught in someones peripheral lol. by Colacolaman (Fri 5th Aug 2022 12:54pm)
  • Take a look at Paisley/Renfrew for accommodation. It's not got the student vibe you're looking for as such but you're 20 minutes from Glasgow and could commute but pay less. by Colacolaman (Sun 14th Aug 2022 10:30am)
  • I struggle with most of it. I've never learned how to use the packages but I'm now working in a role where I need to use them almost daily. I don't know any of the formulas, how to insert tables properly, populate charts and graphs. Even just things that seem basic that the words some times carry over the top of other cells and then other times don't. I also need to learn to use Macros to populate letters from an excel into word. I'm fairly useless at this shit. Thanks for your offer of helping! by Colacolaman (Thu 8th Sep 2022 12:24pm)
  • I'll get back to you when I need advice on that. by Colacolaman (Thu 8th Sep 2022 12:25pm)
  • Thank you. Honestly I'm pretty shit at using google and YouTube for this! It's because I don't feel I use the correct key words when searching because I don't know where to start. I've used the Udemy course and I switch off within the first 10 minutes. I'm just not an online learner. If I was in a classroom I'd have it down quick as but can't find any courses. I think I'm just going to have to try a bit harder at the online learning.. by Colacolaman (Thu 8th Sep 2022 12:33pm)
  • Our training department is notoriously useless but I'll reach out now. I'll take a look on the web for other resources, thanks. by Colacolaman (Thu 8th Sep 2022 12:54pm)

  • Hadn't thought about the library I'll give that a go. I'd be interested in getting some basic help! I'm currently waiting to hear from the education department at work so we'll see what they have to say by Colacolaman (Thu 8th Sep 2022 1:31pm)
  • I'd be interested! Could you DM me with some details, please? by Colacolaman (Thu 8th Sep 2022 1:39pm)

  • Hillfoot train station about 7 stops into either Glasgow Queen Street or Glasgow Central. Loads of train strikes on at the moment so you'll need to check for when those are and if she'll be effected. Could also get the bus, 60A ran by First Bus. You can get this on Milngavie road. Train takes about 25 minutes and bus around 35 minutes. by Colacolaman (Tue 13th Dec 2022 9:01am)

  • The roads in East Dun are much better than the rest of Glasgow in my experience. Especially recently as they're resurfacing full roads in places rather than repairing potholes each year. by Colacolaman (Wed 15th Nov 2023 10:44am)
  • I'd agree they've only gotten better since covid, 10 years ago when I lived there the roads were pretty poor by general standards and there will absolutely is more communication from residents of more affluent areas. by Colacolaman (Wed 15th Nov 2023 11:45am)
