  • Do you really think they would give a shit if there wasn’t money to be made? by GlasgowChef278 (Mon 3rd Jan 2022 6:09pm)
  • Agreed with you 100%. How much would be acceptable for a daily charge? Obviously the government have worked out fines will total more ££ than a ‘access charge’ by GlasgowChef278 (Mon 3rd Jan 2022 6:08pm)
  • Because they can fine people who use the zones because they need to or by mistake. You think the money in fines will be funnelled into making the environment greener or into the corrupt black hole that is government? by GlasgowChef278 (Mon 3rd Jan 2022 6:13pm)

  • There is nothing to stop me or someone else buying a new car, I could trade up tomorrow to a newer car but why should I? I worked hard for my car and it’s a pest not been able to use to where I’d like to by GlasgowChef278 (Mon 3rd Jan 2022 6:35pm)

  • What car is it? I’m looking to buy 🤣 by GlasgowChef278 (Tue 4th Jan 2022 11:45am)
  • Don’t speak about driving in the city centre on this thread! You’ll have the anti-car pro first bus brigade sneaking up on you 🤣🤣 Sorry During the day I would recommend on street parking up near Glasgow Caledonian university/cowcaddens. It’s starts at a £1 an hour then gets a little steeper. On street parking anywhere closer to queen street is £1 every 15 minutes, there is an invisible line of on street parking around cowcaddens. Long term I would recommend the multi story ‘Concert square’ or Buchanan galleries. Good luck by GlasgowChef278 (Wed 5th Jan 2022 1:38pm)

  • Oro is always a reliable choice. by GlasgowChef278 (Tue 1st Feb 2022 9:27am)
  • The food is on the expensive side. I would say its good but not great quality wise. Oro is so popular because there is something on the menu for everyone, it’s been there so long , and because people know exactly what they are going to receive. Will it be groundbreaking cutting edge Italian cuisine? No. However you and your family of 12 fussy eaters can get decent, reliable, comfortable and simple food. The pizzas are fantastic. • I can second Borron street. Can get a little busy but there is almost always a space. Few years ago I use to park in at the National theatre of Scotland car park on the left hand side of the entrance ramp and had no issues. It was free and popular with easy access to the city centre via the path beside the canal. Not sure of the current situation by GlasgowChef278 (Fri 2nd Sep 2022 11:32pm)
