  • I recently went boosh at the council on Twitter after I seen the bin cunts use the new big blue recycling bin to carry the general waste from the bin shed to the bin lorry, so over a weeks worth of recycling straight in the landfill. Genuinely feel like the council need to have a culture change amongst their staff before things will improve. Edit-words are hard by Gregplane (Wed 22nd May 2019 11:10pm)

  • The team that comes up are very efficient and work hard not to delay anyone. The first strike naturally had problems til it was figured out. Now the only problems is the “handover” when the GLA staff finish and contingency staff start and vice Versa. They effectively close the airport during this time. All security points close briefly and no aircraft are allowed to move/start engines while the fire fighters carry out their handover. Unless you’re going through at the handover time you should be okay. by Gregplane (Mon 1st Jul 2019 3:15pm)

  • It’s beyond a joke! Consistently on here I see this and on Twitter. There’s even an account set up on twitter called @mankyglasgow that just showcases the mess and @s GlasgowCC. While I agree there’s a fair few folks that don’t manage their waste accordingly, bins consistently overflowing, going weeks without being emptied is unacceptable and becoming the norm! • Planes take off and land in the same direction, into wind. At Glasgow this will change from runway 05 to runway 23 depending on wind direction. Also when the wind speed is higher it doesn’t necessarily mean less throttle will be used, pilots will require throttle to control the aircraft speed as the wind gusts and varies. • Your reply just shows how ignorant you are. Verbal stims are not “routine”. A child is going to verbal stim whether they are in the house or not so what do you propose? They don’t get let out??!! Maybe you should have self awareness about your views on being disabled and having an impact on others just by existing. by Gregplane (Sun 3rd May 2020 10:54am)
  • Are you all the folks that complain when their train is delayed because someone with a wheelchair is waiting for the ramp??? by Gregplane (Sun 3rd May 2020 11:12am)
  • I disagree on your premise that a child verbal stimming is a routine that the parent carer allowed through laziness. I don’t think anyone should get a free pass you’re taking my words out of context. I just found this thread very ableist with most people more concerned for some adults and not some kids just trying to live their lives. • I used to cycle west end to the airport, 11 miles each way, march through November. The one thing that got me off the bike and back in the car was other drivers. I was just too feart. The disdain towards myself just trying to get to or from work was unbelievable. Driving needs a culture change, one that actually stops protecting cunts that use their car as a weapon driving them at cyclists to “teach them a lesson” by Gregplane (Mon 13th Jul 2020 3:27pm)
  • Yeah I’ve put a power of weight on since I stopped. Had to be the tunnel, I start work before the ferry guys. Some parts aren’t too bad with the dual carriageways and it would be hit or miss whether you’d get the extra room from drivers or not. I was thinking of getting back on it and when cycling home passing the tunnel and heading for the bridge at the sec and heading to the Kelvin way to get off the roads as much as I can by Gregplane (Mon 13th Jul 2020 4:47pm)

Except, there’s been events held at a location in Maryhill, The Engine Works, a nice events location but the sheer amount of vehicles blocking Lochburn road, chauffeurs waiting hours with engines idling. Cars parked right up to the canal viaduct literally blocking it. I just want to get to/from work/kids school. We walked one afternoon to get the kids from school and on the way back they were parked up on the pavement blocking it so they could double park on the street.
