  • If it's Council PCN then after 30 days they will send a notice to owner asking for payment of the full £60. If you patch that It'll go up to £90. Not sure how much it goes up after that but after a while they will send debt collectors after you with no doubt even more added on. by Jambolobo81 (Wed 19th Feb 2020 12:41pm)

  • Definitely book, yes most places allow walk ins but only if they have space. You'll find that you'll struggle to get in many places if you chance it without booking. You can try and book a "crawl" if your chosen pubs have the necessary slots available. Some places want a £10 pp deposit so bear that in mind. We went to SWG3 a couple of weeks ago, you need to download their app and book through that but they give you 2hrs 45 mins and if you're going with mates they let you book consecutive slots so you can stay all day. by Jambolobo81 (Thu 27th Aug 2020 10:58am)

  • Call Robert. They're based in Jessie St at Polmadie. They will collect your car and bring it back. I had a leak recently, Arnold Clark (where I work!) wanted £250 just to look at it to find the leak. Call Robert had the car collected, leak sourced, repaired, valeted and returned in less than 48 hrs for £100. Can't recommend them enough. by Jambolobo81 (Fri 12th Mar 2021 1:26pm)

  • About 11 years ago I'd hit a bit of a rough patch and rented a room in an HMO on Queens Drive. The rooms all had power card meters and the shared kitchen had coin meters for the cooker/washing machine etc. Could be something like that? by Jambolobo81 (Wed 17th Mar 2021 11:15am)

  • I didn't know Rocksteady were still going?! I have worked for G4S in the past for extra cash and they had an online registration portal type thing. They'd list the upcoming events and you'd select the ones you wanted to work. They'd then contact you (well, they were supposed to) to tell you if you'd been selected for the shift. All the good gigs went to the "Management's" wee clique of pals in my experience. If you didn't register/work an event within a certain time frame they took you off the books. I think SecuriGroup had a similar registration type thing. by Jambolobo81 (Mon 18th Jul 2022 3:55pm)
  • I don't tend to have change these days but if I do I always tip the delivery person a quid. £3 seems very generous considering you're already paying about that for delivery in the first place. I feel bad if I've no change to give a tip. by Jambolobo81 (Tue 19th Jul 2022 9:40pm)
  • Make an appointment with your GP in the first instance, they'll examine your ear, it may just be an ear infection or something. If it warrants further investigation you'll be referred to an ENT Specialist. by Jambolobo81 (Fri 29th Jul 2022 2:27pm)
  • The picture is of a parking meter token. The Parking Attendents have special coins that they use to test that the pay and display machine is in working order before they issue a PCN. All they are demonstrating here is that the machine was working at the the time you were parked there. Their machines are logged into the street they are checking, so if they've put your reg in to check for payment on Ringo, it won't come up if you've paid on another street. It's crap as you have paid and its been an honest mistake, but the Council will likely not budge. No harm in appealing though. I believe (though don't take my word for it) that the reduced amount of £30 stands while they consider your initial appeal. by Jambolobo81 (Tue 13th Sep 2022 9:17am)

  • I'd love to be in a position to offer to teach anyone any type of skill, but sadly there's not much demand for learning how to fall asleep in front of babestation, surrounded by empty cans of Aldi own brand lager and with a belly button full of your own jizz. by Jambolobo81 (Sat 5th Nov 2022 2:18pm)
  • It depends if there is a loading restriction. This would be indicated by kerb markings and/or the sign. Double yellow lines mean no waiting at any time, but that's not to say you can't be loading/unloading. If there are double kerb markings too or the sign says no loading, then they can't stop there. If the sign doesn't mention loading and there are no kerb markings or single kerb markings, then loading would be permitted. If a parking attendant comes along, and loading is permitted, they would only be able to issue a ticket if there had been no activity at the vehicle (no actual loading/unloading) for a period of ten minutes. So as long as something is taken from or taken to the van at least every ten minutes, then they'd be fine. by Jambolobo81 (Thu 9th Feb 2023 8:11pm)
