  • Vets for pets in Linwood had a vet who was a small animals vet, he used to do my (dwarf) hamsters teeth and nails every few weeks. Could check the site and see if he's still about by Pinkglassouch (Thu 7th Apr 2022 1:43pm)

  • I was just in Portugal and it was €2 to go anywhere in the bus and €2.50 to go anywhere on the subway. That's for tourists, locals have free travel. You realise how pish it is here when you go anywhere else. by Pinkglassouch (Sun 14th Aug 2022 8:02am)
  • I'm like your friends, everything worked out when I started the process a few months ago, but now with the energy stuff I'm fucked because I support family too by Pinkglassouch (Sun 28th Aug 2022 10:59am)

  • They're a lot more expensive. I have an empty flat and it used up £20 in under 3 weeks with only a light on for a total of maybe 4 hours over the entire time by Pinkglassouch (Wed 26th Oct 2022 10:39pm)
  • During deep covid everything but boots was shut and dark and you were escorted to the down stairs bit. Very spooky by Pinkglassouch (Wed 26th Oct 2022 10:42pm)
  • That's around what mine was. I think it also depends on the cost of the property because my friend got a much more expensive house than me and was quoted way more than me with the same solicitor by Pinkglassouch (Wed 9th Nov 2022 3:46pm)
  • Same but BG. They've straight up lied to me multiple times about it by Pinkglassouch (Fri 16th Dec 2022 10:20am)
  • This is a thing in Lisbon/ surrounding areas. Everyone gets a travel pass and as a visitor you still pay next to nothing. The locals let me through barriers with their passes multiple times. Everyone isn't a psycho in other countries about this like they are here by Pinkglassouch (Sun 18th Dec 2022 2:58pm)
  • Apparently because they are also post offices they get subsidised by Pinkglassouch (Wed 21st Dec 2022 11:57pm)
  • I'm a 1 bed tenement too but I pick one room to heat and only put the one radiator on low for roughly 2-4 hours at night. I tough it out during the day (WITH SINGLE GLAZING). I'm roughly £100-150 pm I think. I only put the other ones on to dry washing by Pinkglassouch (Sat 11th Feb 2023 6:23pm)
  • Hanged until he is dead for his crimes against the local population by Pinkglassouch (Sat 11th Feb 2023 6:20pm)
  • I seen something like this, bath toilet sink in a normal bathroom then a shower in a bedroom cupboard disguised as a wardrobe. Seemed like a disaster waiting for to happen by Pinkglassouch (Tue 7th Mar 2023 11:15am)
  • Why'd they move the entrance to 10 steps away by Pinkglassouch (Sat 25th Mar 2023 2:13pm)
  • A couple old enough to be my parents were opening staring and laughing about me wearing a mask on a train the other day. My mum just got out of hospital after being seriously ill 🙄 by Pinkglassouch (Sun 2nd Apr 2023 4:59pm)
  • Germany is like being in the future compared with here. It's so much easier getting around western Europe even with 0 language. Being a tourist in Glasgow would be a fucking nightmare trying to work it out by Pinkglassouch (Wed 5th Apr 2023 11:57am)
  • Yeah it's so confusing back there by Pinkglassouch (Thu 6th Apr 2023 12:04am)

  • No, I lack the bath feature. I have a couch however by Pinkglassouch (Thu 13th Apr 2023 8:47pm)
  • 100%, I got dropped the wrong side of Queens Park trying to go to the dentist and still got charged through the nose for it. He was like yeah I don't know where that is? I had pre booked saying where I was going. I gave up and walked through the park in the end by Pinkglassouch (Sun 30th Apr 2023 10:38pm)
  • Same here, except I was taking someone ill to the RAH from Central (they wouldn't have managed the train). My phone ko'd so I had no choice by Pinkglassouch (Sun 30th Apr 2023 10:42pm)

  • It's seemed much better recently. There's always people in it. I'm somehow always in it. 2 years ago it was always dead by Pinkglassouch (Tue 30th May 2023 11:19pm)
  • I've a very clear memory of sitting on the roof of the Duomo di Milano alone and near tears. You take yourself with you, everything you think doesn't evaporate, if you're lucky you'll be distracted but ultimately need to think about **it** again by Pinkglassouch (Wed 31st May 2023 10:54pm)
  • I think this all the time. My friend bulk orders from just eat restaurants and it lasts days so it's cheaper than the supermarket for her 🧐 by Pinkglassouch (Thu 1st Jun 2023 5:15pm)
  • Just realised I've never been in a free museum in Europe not here 😮 by Pinkglassouch (Fri 30th Jun 2023 1:15am)

  • I did it with male friends now that I think of it. Never did it with any other girls. I remember my girl friend robbing her mums purse for those mini Nutellas. I was more industrious with my bottle collecting by Pinkglassouch (Tue 1st Aug 2023 1:10am)
  • I absolutely hated it and felt poisoned and I tried 3x. by Pinkglassouch (Fri 15th Sep 2023 12:28am)
  • I remember it being a dump when I went to langside college in 2009ish. It's had a real turnaround in reputation 💀 by Pinkglassouch (Tue 19th Sep 2023 6:21pm)
  • I'm fired up just reading this. I have really bad damage to my window/ ceiling/floor from water pouring in every time it rains for 3 months and them doing nothing. My advice is keep everything on email and email their complaints email attaching photos of the problem. I don't engage with them on the phone anymore because it's like it never happened. My stuff still isn't resolved but that's where I'm at by Pinkglassouch (Tue 3rd Oct 2023 8:33pm)
  • I will say I've had whistles and yelling from the groups of men around there walking from the street from the park up towards wokstar and along the main road to crosshill. My advice to op is to go a walk in the evening and see what you think. There's a tonne of hipstery types who seem to enjoy the area. I definitely didn't like it and found it a super different vibe to just up the road walking around Battlefield. I passed on a flat in crosshill because of it by Pinkglassouch (Wed 8th Nov 2023 3:32pm)
  • You seem to know about this stuff - I have a similar issue as a flat owner, water coming through the ceiling. What do you do after 6 months have passed and you've went through all the complaints processes with the factor? by Pinkglassouch (Sat 18th Nov 2023 6:39pm)
  • Yep, and there's a flat above. Apparently the gutter and pointing over the window are bust. The leak is coming though the window seal and where the wall meets the ceiling if that makes sense, because of the build up by Pinkglassouch (Sat 18th Nov 2023 10:49pm)
  • No they accept they have to do it, they just don't do it. For 6 months they've made up lies about it mistakingly being cancelled and delayed. I've seen online this is something they do. They're a racket basically and don't carry out work by Pinkglassouch (Sat 18th Nov 2023 11:18pm)
  • It isn't that, they've not even lettered anyone for repairs. They've lied the entire time saying it will be done on x then saying it was delayed because of x/it wasn't put through because of x, literally for 6 months by Pinkglassouch (Sun 19th Nov 2023 1:21am)
  • There's a poster shop on Byres Road, it's at the turn on the road to to the uni. There's definitely lots of vintage film posters. Failing that I got a load of ww2 posters from etsy by Pinkglassouch (Wed 22nd Nov 2023 12:05am)
  • Same - mine stayed on for about 4 months over 1900s single glazing. Definitely stopped the draft by Pinkglassouch (Mon 4th Dec 2023 1:36am)
