  • Basement? -yes. Stinky? -yes. Full of target audience? - of course. I don't like it either. I'm more into boardgames so it's not for me but of course it's full of the people you'd imagine. by Rajorface (Fri 8th Mar 2019 10:45am)
  • Ooft. Yeah figured the area must be a bit on the con side of the list when the price was so far in the pro side. Thanks mate! by Rajorface (Sun 28th Apr 2019 8:56pm)
  • Thanks for the input. I was thinking it was probably mostly decent folk. by Rajorface (Wed 1st May 2019 9:17pm)
  • Guys, claim money back for delays. It's a pre-paid envelope and they really count on people not being arsed with it. I'm fairly certain you can do it online aswell. by Rajorface (Tue 29th Oct 2019 8:52am)
  • I learned to drive here but never sat my test, went to the states for a decade and drove there, came back and have been driving here for a year. There's a serious lack of road markings. It's straight up dangerous sometimes if you don't know the area you're in. Half eroded arrows and words on the road and you have to guess. by Rajorface (Sun 8th Mar 2020 11:32pm)
  • I knew that and people were telling me to just drive for a year while taking lessons. Fuck that man. Driving in the states even in my manuals was easy. I did not feel comfortable kirsty driving in here by Rajorface (Tue 10th Mar 2020 5:17pm)
  • I've seen this at American football games, usually it's someone who will have an allegiance to two teams. They grew up in Detroit with hardcore Lions fans for family but they move to Chicago, meet someone who's a Bears fan. So they get a jersey for each team, split it vertically **down the front**, and sew one half from each team together. There is no rivalry in the NFL like the Old Firm though. Man is asking for a kicking from crazies on both sides. by Rajorface (Tue 2nd Jun 2020 9:53pm)
  • How does that make sense? Only new overhead is sanitizer and a mask. by Rajorface (Thu 20th Aug 2020 8:06am)
  • Following on from this, a podcast I listened to had someone make a really good point. With the advancements in interconnectivity, mainly internet, people have a wealth of information and the ability to spread it. That means there's just as much access to incorrect information (vaccines cause autism, corona-hoax, 5g, healing crystals, essentialoilscurecancer.com) and people have support from other like minded clowns **while** blocking out actual information. The person put it way more succinctly but essentially people are more and more able to stay in their lane and only allow people who further embed them in their lane to touch their lives. But you know, We're the sheeple. by Rajorface (Sat 29th Aug 2020 5:30pm)

  • No no no you don't understand. I have some really good ideas on how everyone should live their lives. West Enders, east enders, sou'siders n that. I just need some kind of talisman everyone can get behind. by Rajorface (Sun 18th Oct 2020 11:44am)

  • Booked a long weekend outside Glasgow - going on that long weekend outside Glasgow. I wear a mask in public, I sanitise regularly, I followed the rules. Try fine me when there's people not wearing masks in shops, trains, buses & rangers fans can congregate in massive numbers and police stand by. by Rajorface (Sat 15th May 2021 2:38pm)
  • Was just reading about the G41/G42 discussion there on Glasgowlive. Shame that the earlier fantastic community showing might turn into a spreader event. You should order some lateral flow tests for piece of mind! Next article is hundreds of rangers fans gathered outside Ibrox and heading into town (causing damage according to another r/Glasgow post) So I'll *absolutely* be heading out the city on a long weekend. by Rajorface (Sat 15th May 2021 2:55pm)

  • People outside can absolutely get covid from someone who has covid. It is drastically less likely. And I'm sure all these people rubbing shoulders are only doing so for the camera, and not heading into several people's houses today etc. /s by Rajorface (Sat 15th May 2021 11:41pm)

  • Just imagine: A close up of a visibly drink man as he tips the bottom of his buckfast bottle to the sky. His thirst quenched he brings it down again, eyelids half closed and eyes barely able to focus be spots a bin. He stumbles toward it 2 steps towards and one back over and over. He reaches his long sought goal. He places the bottle precariously on top of the overflowing bin, balancing it as best as he can. It slides in slow motion black and white off and a top down shot shows it heading for the ground. We cut back to the man's eyes, one intentionally closed to combine all focus into the other. The bottle smashes. Innocence is lost. A record scratches. The rest of the knuckle dragging crowd stare at their cans, bottles and crisp bags in their hands and just... Let them go. And they fall, lost like tears in rain by Rajorface (Sun 16th May 2021 9:25am)
  • I left Glasgow at 19, returned at 30. It has gone waaaaaaay downhill. Also while it's good to be able to move past things, it's also good to think about the next time by Rajorface (Tue 18th May 2021 11:48am)
  • Where we talking here? The cross? Colton lights? Asda? Woodhill Road? I'm from bishopbriggs so might be able to offer some insight. by Rajorface (Tue 18th May 2021 11:46am)
  • Ah ok round Huntershill. That area can be shitty, I think Wallace well and beyond can be shitty. Things may be exacerbated by lockdown but some people just sick. by Rajorface (Tue 18th May 2021 12:26pm)
  • Tried to get on a train to town once and the train was packed. Could see spaces in the aisles, conductor came to the door where I was standing and asking people to move down politely. He goes you can't get on, I pointed to the space in the aisles he goes "Not my problem" Guy was the size of literally 2-3 people aswell. • Friend went there and has been telling us this person is unraveling on Instagram. If the recipients of the vaccine are not having those symptoms, how the fuck are non recipients getting them, you absolute goon. Snake oil salesperson saying peer researched, proven medicine that is currently having a demonstrable impact is bad, while saying that their message while only reach the "right people" Also the solar system doesn't influence personalities or give a shit about humans. • They actually said something so close to understanding why a vaccine is important but at the last second swerved and drove off a tone deaf cliff.Paraphrasing but it was like since me not getting the vaccine doesn't affect anyone else, I would hope/ expect the people that do come in to be honest for MY safety. by Rajorface (Mon 31st May 2021 4:03pm)
  • I agree, but comments asking for their sources are not hateful or unkind. So deleting anything not strictly reinforcing their narrative, is deleting "negative" comments by Rajorface (Tue 1st Jun 2021 11:53am)
  • People talk differently and use interchangeable words for the same thing. For example you say "Potato" I say "What the fuck are you hoping to achieve by your stupid fucking comment? Ignorant cunt" by Rajorface (Wed 30th Jun 2021 3:11pm)

  • Last time I went it was like a fiver for an hour iirc. My wife and I were the only ones in and had been drinking at a pretty standard pace. Guy was fine with us continuing to play the games when time was up because we continued to buy pints. • Walked past Tommy Flanagan and Mark Boone Jr. (Bobby Elvis from SoA) on a night out in Ashton Lane. They definitely clocked me noticing and chatting to a pal quick to confirm. They fairly quickly got up and headed out with Tommy leading the charge, could've been pure coincidence. Mark isn't the fastest walker so I ended up walking past him with a quick, really appreciated the show, his character, shook his hand and went on with the night. I guess I met the not Scottish one. by Rajorface (Thu 9th Sep 2021 11:58am)
  • No he's right these people don't maintain the privilege of living in society. Tolerating the intolerant has a limit. by Rajorface (Sat 18th Sep 2021 7:42pm)
  • I'm actually also interested in how they looked foreign. The original post made no indication of any sort regarding that. Also there are plenty of men all over the world in their home countries looking at women. You can look at a person because they're good looking and not be a rapist. I'd probably say the vast majority of people do this. by Rajorface (Sun 3rd Oct 2021 1:26am)
  • "I’ve noticed a lot of foreign men" You noticed these men, who you've deemed to be foreign. You didn't talk to them, you noticed they're men & foreign. I did say the same thing. I said that in my first sentence. What about them made them look foreign? It's almost like me and the other guy have noticed someone who can simply look at a person and know what country they're not from. by Rajorface (Sun 3rd Oct 2021 1:39am)
  • "I’ve noticed a lot of foreign men" Does not equal "I've spoken to these men about why they're looking at women and for some reason they told me they're foreign" by Rajorface (Sun 3rd Oct 2021 1:42am)
  • Nobody's bitching. The fact you got so defensive when two people asked you how you know these guys are foreign speaks volumes. And yeah I'm sure that you went and had a conversation with these big scary men you *knew* were foreign and *knew* were rapists. "I’ve noticed a lot of foreign men" clearly means you've used your senses to judge these people to be foreign in some way. Two people asked you what about them convinced you so. Could be an accent, could be that they're wearing t-shirts that say "I love being ______-ish from _____" Fact is you never answered two separate people that plainly asked how you knew. That's what's suspect. And you know it. by Rajorface (Sun 3rd Oct 2021 1:54am)
  • What do you mean? Suspect was used in terms of suspicious. I think that's what you were meaning by Rajorface (Mon 4th Oct 2021 2:37pm)
  • Apparently I'm suspect/ suspicious because I don't believe you can tell a person's nationality just by looking at them. Who knew? by Rajorface (Mon 4th Oct 2021 4:11pm)
  • I didn't suspect them of something. I reiterated a previously unanswered question because I had the same question. I guess you could say assuming someone is foreign because of the way they look is presumptuous. I agree that to some extent you can tell. I asked what about them gave them away. The other person has still not acknowledged that they made a judgement on someone's origins based on some input. What's suspicious is that despite several people asking a straightforward question about *how* they took in input and decided the guys were foreign, they've refused to answer. Then tried to get ahead of being called racist. Do you get called racist a lot u/Top_Struggle_2990? Also good job doubling down on not having a conversation and instead going to "convoluted shite" &"brain damaged." You seem swell. by Rajorface (Mon 4th Oct 2021 5:35pm)

  • If you choose to go around stabbing random people then you yourself get stabbed... I don't feel bad for you. by Rajorface (Thu 21st Oct 2021 9:27am)
  • I knew not to stab people at 14. I think the vast majority of people do. by Rajorface (Thu 21st Oct 2021 10:08am)
  • It's also real easy to not stab someone. 33 year streak going strong baby. There's millions of people in worse situations that don't stab folk. There's millions of people in better situations that do stab folk. Almost like background doesn't always dictate the choices a person makes. by Rajorface (Thu 21st Oct 2021 10:07am)

  • Oh no. Any age. A 14 year old knows what they're doing. Is it sad that someone got attacked and stabbed. Yes. Is it his fault. No Did he actively participate in a certain way of life that led to him being stabbed. Yes. by Rajorface (Thu 21st Oct 2021 12:12pm)
  • Of course there's black and white and grey area. If you're stabbing folk randomly you don't really have a leg to stand on when you yourself get stabbed. Regardless of age. by Rajorface (Thu 21st Oct 2021 12:11pm)
  • I play video games and board games. I'm clearly a monster. God maybe I should start stabbing people then you'll like me random internet man. by Rajorface (Thu 21st Oct 2021 12:20pm)
  • > Made the mistake of looking at his profile. He seems to have spent 33 years sitting on his sofa gaming, which would explain a lot... Lol don't assume gender. I've been out plenty. I've lived in 2 countries. Person who is old enough to know better gets what he's been giving out. So naive of me. If me playing video games gets me so internet wank checking my post history and judging me off of that instead of discussing facts/ opinions Vs. me going out and about stabbing people and having that same wank on my side. I'll take the video games and not hurting people any day. by Rajorface (Thu 21st Oct 2021 1:25pm)

  • What about in the circumstances of absolute, without a doubt, video, dna, confession, witness...any box you can think of checked. Maybe even positive ID by a surviving victim. Genuine question...would you personally support quick, cheap execution? by Rajorface (Wed 17th Nov 2021 2:43pm)
  • Maintaining a gallows / guillotine does not cost more than maintaining an incarcerated person for the rest of their natural life. Any research that indicates so can only be completely made up or funded by for profit prisons. It just does not make a lick of sense. by Rajorface (Wed 17th Nov 2021 5:33pm)
  • Sorry I re-read my comment and it wasn't clear. Quick here is more in terms of instantaneous capital punishment, not in terms of in-and-out-of court in 30 minutes. Has there been a case such as the one I detailed, complete open and shut, no possible contest...where an innocent person has been convicted? Why not reserve the death penalty for these extreme cases. by Rajorface (Wed 17th Nov 2021 5:31pm)
  • Don't allow speaks and pointless fine wasting in these cases. Solves the problem. Same for the research comment by Rajorface (Thu 18th Nov 2021 8:52am)
  • You commit violent crimes, you don't get to be in society anymore. by Rajorface (Thu 18th Nov 2021 11:26am)
  • Yes there have been wrongful convictions. Which is why I believe the death penalty should be reserved for those beyond any doubt, video supported, DNA backed, witness verified etc. Etc. All possible boxes checked cases in a violent crime. "Not worth another" I'm not talking about cases where the person is innocent or may be, I'm not talking about vengeance. I'm talking about taking the people that hurt others and removing them because there's **undeniable, insurmountable ** evidence they did it by Rajorface (Fri 19th Nov 2021 12:11pm)
  • Per your other comments. This has absolutely nothing to do with SNP. As for this comment. There was a smaller police presence at first for a minor incident of not vacating when asked to. Scrap that, not even when asked to - when the place is closing. That prompts the first question - should the staff go home and allow the non-budging patrons to stay locked in all night? No. Is it a good idea to square up to police (with no mask on by the way but who cares about Omicron anyway right?) when you're already breaking the law? Over a jacket. No I don't think you can be arrested for swearing at the police. It'd probably be something like obscene/ profane language causing distress to other general public. Definitely hard to make it stick. Couple it with refusing to leave a premises though... No one, no one cares what you advise them. by Rajorface (Sat 1st Jan 2022 10:06pm)
  • Oh man. They should come up with some kind of obvious **call** to get your **last** drink so that you have enough time to get one and finish it. If they did that there would be no way this would happen. by Rajorface (Sat 1st Jan 2022 10:44pm)

  • I'm by no means unique but my earliest memories of my whole family absolutely cracking up are to Billy Connolly VHS tapes. My mum and dad wiping tears from their face as he dances around with his [incontinence trousers](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RGNMeR-BOis), struggling to lift each leg. I think I was like 6 but we all just enjoyed it together. I'd *love* to just shake his hand and talk to him for 5 minutes. by Rajorface (Mon 10th Jan 2022 5:12pm)
  • I have been wanting to ask how call centre roles changed during lockdown. Did KPI's get adjusted/ accounted for? Did you guys have a week or so off while everything went remote? Any other interesting teething problems? by Rajorface (Tue 1st Feb 2022 11:21pm)
  • It's not really though... You are sitting interacting with the people you've chosen to in a restaurant limiting the physical distance any potentially infectious particles can reach/ spread. whereas when moving around the restaurant: You walk past x amount of tables and exhale potentially infectious particles. The more tables you walk past the bigger the potential impact. Also, wearing a mask is the easiest thing to do. by Rajorface (Mon 7th Feb 2022 2:35pm)
  • PureGym in Robroyston is always busy, I've had trouble with WiFi and honestly entering your code for the doors gets old so fast. Wife and I joined Glasgow Club when we lived in Dennistoun last year. They were still requiring booking slots through the app so it was quiet. Sure it's changed now. We'd go to Whitehill, which was good for being walkable. Medium size. Would hate to see it busy. Our favourite Glasgow Club Gym is Tollcross which is a drive but big and haven't seen it at PureGym level busy. There's TeamTrain Fitness in Carntyne which I toured but ended up not going to as GCG Whitehill/ TollCross was a better fit. I've moved closer to Bannatyne but it is nearly double the price. by Rajorface (Mon 7th Feb 2022 10:05pm)

The excursions from Maidens were Girvan for the attractions/ arcade games and Ayr for shopping. 2 years ago I went to Ayr on the way back from a wedding. I've never seen such a change in a place. My childhood was slapped in it's wee face. by Rajorface (Fri 8th Jul 2022 12:51pm)

Thought I was going to jail. Owner saw I was genuinely upset and sorry. Window replaced, done and dusted. * Intentionally throwing a * full brick at a * moving bus window with * people inside as a * *15* year old. Attempted murder. • I've recently bought a place, nowhere near this, and neighbours have just told me there's a new development coming across the street (currently an old community hall and a nice green space there) and I'm researching what's planned online. It's social housing aswell. Call it narrow minded but have I just dropped my life savings into a house that's about to be across the street from a scheme full of arseholes? What does social housing entail, you sound knowledgable. by Rajorface (Mon 17th Apr 2023 11:14pm)
  • You're right, *no one* else would have that thought and having worked hard and saved and just put my first step on the ladder, I should be thrilled at the thought of a shitty scheme going up. Be realistic. by Rajorface (Tue 18th Apr 2023 7:14am)

  • I didn't say it necessarily is. I asked someone what social housing entails. Didn't say am I right in assuming that social housing = jakey scumbags. by Rajorface (Tue 18th Apr 2023 5:14pm)
  • I asked what social housing entails. I didn't say social housing must mean shitey people. But that's cool by Rajorface (Tue 18th Apr 2023 5:15pm)

  • Some areas of Glasgow are absolute shitholes. True or false? by Rajorface (Tue 18th Apr 2023 9:01pm)
  • So... Yes. by Rajorface (Tue 18th Apr 2023 9:07pm)
  • But... Are some parts of Glasgow absolute shitholes? Yes or No by Rajorface (Tue 18th Apr 2023 9:15pm)
  • It's not. It's not great but it's quiet. And we agree that neither of us wants to live in or directly beside a shithole right? So when I say what does social housing entail I'm asking is it a euphemism for a shithole or is it, after I did some research, maybe specially fitted housing for elderly folk. Welcome to the real world son. by Rajorface (Tue 18th Apr 2023 9:36pm)
  • Sounds rough. Sorry you went through that. Doesn't change the fact that you wouldn't want to live next to, it in a shithole and I asked a simple question. All the best. by Rajorface (Tue 18th Apr 2023 10:29pm)

  • It's not too bad. I go often with my wife and never had problems. But totally understand, Trongate can be honkin by Rajorface (Wed 19th Apr 2023 3:47pm)
  • People need a job so I sympathize but they're almost certainly some pyramid scheme. Same patter to me "You look friendl-" "No thanks" by Rajorface (Thu 11th May 2023 7:04pm)

  • *"Director Craig Murray accused the union of trying to "destroy" the event."* *"Mr Murray said the debt from last year's festival was about £800,000"* *"Singer songwriter Iona Fyfe is regional board member of the Musicians' Union, which is not calling for a boycott.* *She said: "I personally believe that if you haven't paid your workers for last year, how on earth do you ensure that you can pay the musicians for this year?"* I'm baffled as to why he's puzzled. by Rajorface (Thu 8th Jun 2023 2:18pm)
  • The title is North Court Lane. Without anything else. At all. So...you've made the assumption that someone is trying to make it look bad. The reason...it is bad. And you're right to assume that. by Rajorface (Mon 24th Jul 2023 10:21pm)
  • He never said it was the worst part of Glasgow He never said it was unique to the city. You're projecting, and thinking that it's shite that Glasgow, and lots of places can be like this. And that's OK. by Rajorface (Mon 24th Jul 2023 11:23pm)
  • I went there and it changed my life immeasurably for the better. A lot of people lost their jobs today. And a lot of people who were trying to make a positive change in their life, lost out today. It's never a guaranteed job at the end. You get out what you put in, there's a million variables for a million people, and some people aren't going to make it. I get it. It's expensive and a commitment, and no one wants anyone to fail at it. Some people want to be singers but they can't sing. Some people want to be developers but it just doesn't click for them. If you had a bad experience, I'm sorry, I can't imagine how shit it would be. But anyone who made the choice to go... Made the choice knowing the risks. Committing to being u/CodeClanSucks is also a choice you made. All the best to you, the instructors and the students. by Rajorface (Fri 4th Aug 2023 10:15pm)
