  • I'm sorry. Will delete. by SpacemenJ (Thu 26th Aug 2021 11:01pm)
  • 2nded. I know Seb, and the Poachers are cracking live. Seriously, if anyone fancies taking a punt on a band you don't know, this would be a great night! by SpacemenJ (Sat 18th Sep 2021 8:46pm)

  • I would suggest a Konix Speeding if you can find one. Had one for my C64 way back in the 80s and it's was a game changer with regards comfort and control. Probably still the best controller I've ever used with a great ergonomic design. by SpacemenJ (Sat 9th Apr 2022 4:00pm)
  • Linlithgow is nice, with a decent country park just up the hill (Beecraigs). Cramond (north-west of Edinburgh) is lovely and worth it for the walk out to the old defense post/island. A little further afield, the drive to Skye. Easily one of the most beautiful drives in Scotland, across Rannoch Moor and up through Glencoe. Did it a few years ago and found ourselves stopping almost every few miles to take photos. Skye is gorgeous too if you have time to spend there. St. Andrews and the coastal parts of Fife are also lovely for a visit, especially if the weather is nice. by SpacemenJ (Mon 23rd May 2022 9:17pm)
  • Magpies Eye in Govan is really good. Facebook page is regularly updated, and you can buy via that too I think. There's also a 2nd hand place on Broomland Rd nearby that do fridges, cookers, etc. if you need electrical items to get started. About a 5-10min walk between them both and both close to subway (Govan and Ibrox respectively) by SpacemenJ (Wed 9th Nov 2022 8:30pm)
  • Had our kitchen and bathroom done by Glasgow Kitchen & Bathroom Direct, based out Hillington way. We had a good experience with them. Was very happy with how they turned out. Took everything back to brick before starting. by SpacemenJ (Sun 22nd Jan 2023 9:17pm)

  • Took this at 1am on Friday night (Bellshill). Often noticed this weird bright glow looking NE. It was pulsing like the source was flickering but really lit up the sky. Eurocentral is up that way, as is the trainyard, but I've never thought they would light up the sky quite as much themselves. by SpacemenJ (Sun 29th Jan 2023 10:42am)
  • Chinese munchie boxes lack the variety of a kebab shop one. All a bit one dimensional taste wise. Rather just have salt&chilli chips and some ribs. Standard kebab shop one is fine for me. Covers the main food group for me... utter greed! by SpacemenJ (Fri 3rd Feb 2023 6:18pm)
  • Yep. Did our kitchen and bathroom last year and was very happy with them and their fitters. by SpacemenJ (Thu 16th Mar 2023 10:51pm)
  • Bloc+, Sleazys and Stereo and The 13th Note are all super inclusive venues/bars too. Good for a bite to eat, drinks and/or gigs too! by SpacemenJ (Mon 20th Mar 2023 6:37pm)
  • I had an issue in the past where it was just the boot sector that was gubbed. I bought a hard drive caddy and hooked it up to my PC and used an app to recover all that it could. Did manage to get a lot back, although the information retrieved was in funny file names due to the recovery process. Had to wade through it in the end to sort it all out, but it is possible if the drive isn't completely gubbed. by SpacemenJ (Fri 24th Mar 2023 9:12am)
  • Lots of lovely places to stop on the drive too. One of the most beautiful drives I've ever done. Amazing we have this just "up the road" by SpacemenJ (Thu 6th Apr 2023 4:02pm)
  • Bloc+ for their Poutine fries. The other offerings are pretty decent too. by SpacemenJ (Fri 7th Apr 2023 5:53pm)

  • Some venues will have extras. I often ask at the bar and have been successful. Have even been told to take the one on the wall on occasion. by SpacemenJ (Thu 15th Jun 2023 5:32pm)
  • A quick call, and he was out to have a look. Couldn't do the repair, unfortunately, but gutters now all clear at least! Thanks for the recommendation! by SpacemenJ (Mon 21st Aug 2023 4:58pm)

  • I've worked there for the past 13 years and never had any issues, albeit during normal hours. Often busy on match days/nights. I live in the leafy suburbs and often see more bams when working from home than in Govan. by SpacemenJ (Thu 7th Sep 2023 6:28pm)

  • I would 2nd Bloc. Had some good wee nights in there. Sleazys and Broadcast regularly have DJs on and various themes too. Check their FB pages for more details. Bloc, Sleazys and Broadcast are all within walking distance of each other (Sleazys and Broadcast are next door to each other) so if one doesn't hit the spot, try one of the others. All do food too, so if you are about earlier in the day, you can grab a bite to eat before enjoying the DJs later on. by SpacemenJ (Mon 11th Sep 2023 9:12pm)
