  • Gutted - hope it finds a home by brewupastorm (Sat 5th Feb 2022 5:37pm)
  • I've been using Bolt in Edinburgh and hoping that comes to Glasgow soon. Seems a slightly better service by brewupastorm (Tue 8th Mar 2022 10:25am)
  • Over provision policy came in around April 2019 which means the number of drivers of capped. After covid and brexit a lot of drivers have left the industry meaning all services are severely reduced… There is defo an under provision and probably was when it was introduced but the council are most likely protecting the incumbent local companies which means a crap service for us by brewupastorm (Thu 26th May 2022 1:36pm)
  • Ah I see, just thought it was weird as Uber is Glasgow and the airport is Renfrewshire so presumed they wouldn’t be allowed to work there by brewupastorm (Sun 4th Sep 2022 12:46pm)
  • Vegan places: mono, suissi, stereo are all decent by brewupastorm (Mon 19th Sep 2022 6:08pm)
  • Soz misread. Not sure actually :( by brewupastorm (Mon 19th Sep 2022 6:11pm)
  • Is Bolt not meant to be coming to Glasgow? by brewupastorm (Fri 21st Oct 2022 10:27am)
  • In Edinburgh they seemed more reliable but a little bit more expensive when they weren’t running discounts. End of the days it’s the same drivers so would just split them across more companies making it less reliable by brewupastorm (Sat 22nd Oct 2022 10:19am)
  • Glasgow Uni has both and is decent enough. Can join / get a day pass as a non student I believe by brewupastorm (Fri 13th Jan 2023 2:31pm)
  • I vote green but would say this is misleading. The plans actually look quite good imo, is it just that “flamingo land” has certain negative connotations? It’s not going to me an amusement park, or am I missing the issue? by brewupastorm (Thu 9th Feb 2023 6:40pm)
  • Is the render even Glasgow? Looks nothing like sauchiehall by brewupastorm (Wed 22nd Mar 2023 11:27pm)
  • Kilts 4 Less in Greenock was v cheap when I got the full set. Not sure how cheap for separate bits and pieces though by brewupastorm (Thu 23rd Mar 2023 1:55pm)
  • I’m not saying that the redevelopment plans for Buchanan Street and St Enochs are great but they are replacing something that’s worse. The real shame is the loss of the amazing buildings for more generic crap. We need a bold plan to renovate some of the amazing buildings that are currently offices / derelict into high quality flats and bring back more green space. It doesn’t need to be large scale green space, most of the roads are 4 lanes so there is a chance to green these and make city centre living attractive. Glasgow has so much potential but we need to really sort it and stop pandering to developers creating another generic urban centre with no character. by brewupastorm (Wed 29th Mar 2023 10:09pm)
  • Vintage and Retro - expensive though by brewupastorm (Tue 23rd May 2023 2:45pm)
  • They used any old crap as noise insulation back in the day. My upstairs neighbours removed theirs presumably presuming they thought it didn’t have a purpose. Or they hate me by brewupastorm (Thu 24th Aug 2023 9:38am)
  • Yeah, might be a more more version but I think it might be the same idea? by brewupastorm (Fri 25th Aug 2023 6:37pm)
  • Yeah soz by brewupastorm (Fri 25th Aug 2023 6:35pm)
  • Presumably by brewupastorm (Fri 25th Aug 2023 6:49pm)
  • Bolt is in Edinburgh and GlasGo in Glasgow. Both the biggest rivals to Uber in those cities by brewupastorm (Fri 29th Sep 2023 4:35pm)
