  • You can try to give some of them away for free. Announce it on facebook marketplace, gumtree and [freecycle.org](https://freecycle.org). People frequently are searching for them. by kacper0000001 (Tue 17th Nov 2020 4:22pm)
  • Glasgow is very LGBT+ friendly and I never had any issue in the city. There was a study by European Commission published last year in which Glasgow was ranked no 1 city for gay and lesbian people to live. • Southside (Strathbungo and around Queen's Park) is great, but became quite expensive lately. I'd recommend Gorbals - still cheap, family friendly, very safe, never had a problem holding my bf's hand, quiet, but at the same time it's 10mins walk to the city centre and 15mins to Queens Park. Most properties are new - they don't have the same vibe as tenements but they are usually easier to heat and have better floorplans. by kacper0000001 (Fri 19th Feb 2021 1:05pm)

  • GCC should increase the blue bins capacity for everyone but if they are unwilling then at least order new ones for your flat / house. Over the past few years I ordered both blue and grey bins for flats in G3 and G5. Always free of charge and delivered within few weeks. • Sure, Glasgow does need more hotels but also Clyde waterfront deserves mixed developments. There's virgin hotel, Clayton hotel, jury's Inn and now this one. I'm glad that an empty site is getting redeveloped but a waterfront full of hotels and student accomodations won't provide much for residents. by kacper0000001 (Mon 22nd Aug 2022 8:29pm)
