  • This is the gayest argument I've ever seen by m_h_c_s_8_6_ (Fri 22nd Jul 2022 10:13pm)
  • Pretty sure most of the people out tagging at 2am aren't up for a 9-5 the next day. Could be wrong of course. by m_h_c_s_8_6_ (Fri 22nd Jul 2022 10:40pm)
  • I'm not saying it's exclusive to Glasgow, but I've travelled frequently across Europe and nowhere have I seen the effort that GCC go to to paint over it. Just seems a waste of time if you're not going to do anything else to deter it by m_h_c_s_8_6_ (Sat 23rd Jul 2022 7:56am)
  • Maybe I should have been clearer, I'm more referring to tagging and some of the more artistic stuff. Of course we should be doing everything possible to remove offensive graffiti or damage to private property. And as a society we should be doing everything possible to change those attitudes. Just don't see the issue of making a concrete pillar under a motorway a bit more colourful. by m_h_c_s_8_6_ (Sat 23rd Jul 2022 8:04am)
  • That's a bit of a jump to suggest I'm encouraging racist or offensive graffiti - maybe if you read my comment you would have noticed the bit explaining that's exactly the opposite of what I'm talking about by m_h_c_s_8_6_ (Sat 23rd Jul 2022 8:27am)
  • Please point out the part of any of my comments encouraging racist or offensive graffiti. by m_h_c_s_8_6_ (Sat 23rd Jul 2022 8:36am)
  • I appreciate WFH is convenient for a lot of people and you all must be saving a tonne on travel expenses. Would be interesting to see how much businesses are saving in utilities costs - imagine an office with 50 employees using PCs 8 hours a day, printers, lights, heating, hot water, kettles, microwaves, etc. Not to mention rent since most offices have closed or reduced their space. Those savings won't be passed to customers and they sure as he'll won't appear in your wages! by m_h_c_s_8_6_ (Thu 18th Aug 2022 6:29am)
  • Yup I'm aware of that, but do you really think paying £60-120 less tax a year will make up for the increased gas & electric bills as a result of working from home? Especially with the current gas prices and the fact these will be increasing by up to 300% for most people? This can also be taken away in a second if the government chooses. Its something, I agree with that, but it doesn't make up for what people actually spend on gas/electric and it definitely doesn't change the comments on businesses sounding less but not passing on profits. by m_h_c_s_8_6_ (Thu 18th Aug 2022 8:53am)
  • YouTube & Google are your friends here. I had a basic understanding of Excel until a few years ago but I've self taught myself to now be at a pretty decent level. Just search for what you want to do and there are loads of free videos and websites that will solve your problem. Send me a message if you need some assistance and I'll see what I can do. by m_h_c_s_8_6_ (Thu 8th Sep 2022 12:30pm)
  • Search reddit for Excel subs too, there's quite a few of them! by m_h_c_s_8_6_ (Thu 8th Sep 2022 12:37pm)

  • Tell your shipper to either refund you or send a new item. Its up to them to deal with Evri and they will have a contact person or account manager who can raise a claim for them. Chances are your parcel is lost if its been that long. Will be pointless going there, they'll not let you in and doubt they'll find it. Credentials - I work in this industry (not for Evri). by m_h_c_s_8_6_ (Fri 21st Oct 2022 6:39am)
  • Thanks everyone, was passing Alexandra Parade on way home today so grabbed a ciabatta from Celino's, was decent. Lots of options now though, looking forward to trying some! by m_h_c_s_8_6_ (Sat 5th Nov 2022 4:48pm)

  • They're still building so they might go once they've completed? Just worrying how much water is being retained there, it's flooded the are around it many times and I've never seen it empty. by m_h_c_s_8_6_ (Wed 1st Feb 2023 11:11am)
  • Suppose I'll just need to wait and see then. Just concerning to see how much water is retained there. by m_h_c_s_8_6_ (Wed 1st Feb 2023 11:10am)
  • Why, in 2023, with all the technological advancements we've seen in the last 50 years, have we not found a better way of fixing roads - that's the real conspiracy. by m_h_c_s_8_6_ (Mon 20th Mar 2023 6:42am)
  • There's an industrial estate in N. Lanarkshire where there was a really overgrown bit of land between 2 roads. They recently cut all the bushes and grass away to reveal what now looks more like a landfill site than an industrial estate. Every day I watch workies & lorry drivers lobbing their rubbish & bottles of yellow piss out the windows, it's disgusting. People just don't care, it's gone beyond the point of no return now I fear. by m_h_c_s_8_6_ (Fri 5th May 2023 3:44pm)
