  • This is my husbands reaction when I put on a east coast of Scotland accent. (We are both west coast) He cannot stand it πŸ˜‚ by nagaffets (Mon 8th Apr 2019 8:37am)
  • Looks like the Greenhills shopping centre in EK! by nagaffets (Fri 24th Apr 2020 9:20am)

  • An Apache helicopter just flew over EK at 4.15 this morning (woke me up 🀬) by nagaffets (Sat 6th Mar 2021 4:19am)
  • Yeah was at 1500 feet according to my flight radar app but felt like it was about to land on my roof πŸ˜‚ by nagaffets (Sat 6th Mar 2021 8:47am)

  • Thanks for this it made me laugh! I thought it was a bit suspicious that the standard rate was no where to be found on the website and anytime I tried to look for tariff into it just took me to those extortionate fixed priced ones. I set up an online account for them which I have access to (this is where I was given those prices). They were getting phone calls/letters pressuring them into signing up to one and I told them not to as I felt like it was really excessive. From advice here I’m glad I did! by nagaffets (Fri 11th Mar 2022 1:11pm)
  • Thanks will look into this! by nagaffets (Fri 11th Mar 2022 1:51pm)
  • Thanks for this info. Yeah I know they are scumbags and I have been telling my mum to switch but she won’t listen lol. I’m hoping that having smart meters mean they are just charged for what they use and aren’t hit with a £500 bill haha by nagaffets (Fri 11th Mar 2022 1:50pm)
  • P.s I love your username πŸ˜‚ by nagaffets (Fri 11th Mar 2022 1:59pm)
  • Omg that’s awful! Is that Scottish power too? They are basically criminals at this point. I’m going to have to be extra vigilant checking my parents meters. by nagaffets (Fri 11th Mar 2022 1:58pm)
  • Not sure how I’m meant to do ‘simple maths’ when SP won’t tell me what their standard variable rate is…. If you know what this is and can find it on their website/official sources then do please share so I can tell my numpty parents (and me obviously) not to worry …, by nagaffets (Sat 12th Mar 2022 3:24am)
  • I used to attend the college when it was the old building (2005-2007 it was called Glasgow Met at the time) The bakery on the 6th floor was awesome! Shame they didn’t keep it. by nagaffets (Wed 27th Jul 2022 8:18pm)

  • I’ve had to make several reports to my council (south Lanarkshire) about a road near my street which has heavy traffic usage and is littered with crater size potholes. Do GCC have an online reporting tool? The south Lanarkshire one is quite good and they usually come and patch them up quite quickly. Ideally they should be resurfacing the road entirely but would rather spend the budget on building cycle lanes and dual carriageways that no body wants or needs… sigh by nagaffets (Sat 7th Jan 2023 11:01am)
  • I happened to be on cathedral street for the first time in about 15 years and the state of the Oakley building made me genuinely sad. I really hope it gets refurbished as it seems like it’s rotting away. Has some nice memories of that building and the other college buildings on cathedral street during the mid 00s. I went to the old food tech (was called the Met at the time). The shiny new college looks brilliant but it’s sad that the neighbouring building have been left abandoned. I had heard that GSA was planning to use the Oakley Building as a temp base after the Mac burnt down but there is a major issue with the windows apparently. by nagaffets (Thu 19th Jan 2023 9:46pm)

  • How long have you been watching them? Will they survive in the pond? Don’t understand why folk don’t just take them to the sspca (they will take exotic pets and fish) Releasing them into the wild is really irresponsible… people are weird. by nagaffets (Fri 10th Feb 2023 9:12pm)

  • I’m sure I saw some chihuahuas in the outside seating at the Chip a couple of years ago. (Soaking up the sun on the laps of their owners) I wanted to approach them as they were so cute but realised that if they were anything like my chihuahua they’d probably have my hand off πŸ˜‚ by nagaffets (Thu 20th Apr 2023 9:34pm)
