  • Sher mall located in Tradeston. Very tasty by SafetyKooky7837 (Sat 24th Apr 2021 10:20am)
  • Thanks lad. I heard the that part of the west is on the up with such development. Don’t want to rush the purchase. Thanks anyway by SafetyKooky7837 (Sat 24th Apr 2021 10:28am)
  • I’ve taken several walks around hathaway street and the area and it seems quite quiet I don’t know if that’s because of the COVID 19 period. Yeah I don’t think it’s north kelvin side I would say more maryhill. Seems like a short walk to botanic gardens. Thanks for your input. by SafetyKooky7837 (Sat 24th Apr 2021 10:38am)
  • Great stuff. These new builds are just over priced and given the area I would have to weigh up my pros and cons by SafetyKooky7837 (Sat 24th Apr 2021 10:56am)
  • I’m pretty sure the development that is going ahead will be all private property owners which is a plus. Sorry don’t mean to come across as a classist individual. Oh right that’s good so it’s really all media hype about it being rough etc. The price is on point because you will get 2 year defect warranty period and 10 year building warranty. Don’t get me wrong there are flats in the real westend which are same price but the closes are unbelievably dire, parking is terrible and there’s not a fresh look about some of the westend flats. Hyndland is way out of my budget. Just need to weigh up my pros and cons by SafetyKooky7837 (Sat 24th Apr 2021 11:03am)
  • Yes it’s called north kelvin apartments. They overlook the squash courts and also onto these red tenements which isn’t the most pleasing. Oh god I don’t like the word characters. It is handy for being close to Tesco. Oh yeah I never go near those pubs so hopefully won’t have any altercations with any of these “characters”. Yes apparently the stone elephants are going to be built end of the building phase. Don’t know what they symbolise? There’s also a few developments happening in the area which seems quite promising seen a new school being built on queen Margaret drive and another scheme called kibble heights where a 3 bed flat is going for half a mill. Ridiculous. by SafetyKooky7837 (Sat 24th Apr 2021 11:12am)
  • Thanks lol by SafetyKooky7837 (Sat 24th Apr 2021 12:16pm)
  • Hahhaa thanks well out of my budget. Yes I seen that underpriced if you ask me lol by SafetyKooky7837 (Sat 24th Apr 2021 3:25pm)
  • No not at all. I’m not a polemicist. Why do we have to introduce this law. Well I kind of know why. Shortage of housing. There’s been a huge development phase in the whole of Glasgow. But people shouldn’t be punished by introducing a 4% tax on a second home. by SafetyKooky7837 (Sat 24th Apr 2021 6:23pm)
  • You are mean by SafetyKooky7837 (Sat 24th Apr 2021 6:29pm)
  • Not spoiled actually I actually come from humble beginnings. I get it some people inherit barrels of cash but there are some people who genuinely work hard and want to secure a future for their children. Is that not commendable. Or shall we just piss all of our money away by SafetyKooky7837 (Sat 24th Apr 2021 6:33pm)
  • When that time comes house prices will have sky rocketed in relation to salaries. No thanks. by SafetyKooky7837 (Sat 24th Apr 2021 6:31pm)
  • Sorry but I do come from humble beginnings by SafetyKooky7837 (Sat 24th Apr 2021 6:38pm)
  • You are very intelligent but I just don’t like this 4% tax implication. by SafetyKooky7837 (Sat 24th Apr 2021 6:36pm)
  • I don’t see myself walking on maryhill road but through avenue park street and Hotspur street to get to byres road etc. Hopefully with more private property owners coming through the better by SafetyKooky7837 (Tue 27th Apr 2021 5:45pm)
  • Not sure any of the swimming pools are open at great capacity. I would suggest to be patient and try greens both in finnieston if you like a walk that is. Other than that university of Glasgow gym is up market. by SafetyKooky7837 (Sat 1st May 2021 9:07am)
  • Springburn still a dump. Keep latching onto shit which happened 40 years ago. Things have changed massively for the better in Glasgow. Get the finger out. by SafetyKooky7837 (Fri 14th May 2021 8:00am)
  • For me byres road. All the tributary roads are attached to this great road. by SafetyKooky7837 (Tue 18th May 2021 11:10pm)
  • The Scottish justice system is completely farce. The chances of these people reoffending is in the 90 percentile range. But what do I know eh? You introduce harsher sentences crime rates will drop. by SafetyKooky7837 (Wed 16th Jun 2021 2:31pm)
  • To add to my point how did they manage to dismantle the American Mafia? As soon as they started to amalgamate crimes into one such your typical RICO trials drug dealers/traffickers were getting 25 years mandatory to life. The acronym RICO itself led to longer sentences and led to Mafia members turning on each other thus dismantling the American Mafia. The chances of these people reoffending was when they came out of prison at the age of 60+. by SafetyKooky7837 (Wed 16th Jun 2021 3:52pm)
  • Omg yes they do. Alongside education and rehabilitation crime rates do drop. I don’t need a source but common sense. Just look at the countries with the strictest laws in place. Once a major crime is committed the full extent of the law is enforced. Countries like Saudi Arabia, Iran have been very successful implementing long life sentences which has resulted in very low crime rates. We don’t sources snore……which have been rigged to fit certain other agendas. Speak to the average policeman in Scotland and they will give you a true picture. by SafetyKooky7837 (Wed 16th Jun 2021 3:47pm)
  • That’s cute. Like I said you can read whatever The BBC publishes. Hahahaha not an idiot you are just delusional. Speak to your average policeman and you will know the truth. by SafetyKooky7837 (Wed 16th Jun 2021 5:32pm)
  • This country has no money by SafetyKooky7837 (Thu 17th Jun 2021 5:39am)
  • Nobody gives a fuck. Services have came to a halt because wages have stagnated and the cost of living has sky rocketed. Only option is to become independent but before we commit to that journey we have to sort out the benefits cheats. by SafetyKooky7837 (Tue 14th Sep 2021 11:56pm)
  • Oh my days I am so craving a cheesecake right. Now by SafetyKooky7837 (Sat 9th Oct 2021 11:33pm)
  • Duly noted. The majority of Glasgow is still a shithole. The only area showing significant improvement over the past decade has been the westend. The southside is decent and calmed down as Asians just generally keep themselves occupied with making money and don’t bother anyone. The east end has its parts of gentrification. The further you go out to the likes of Clydebank, drumchapel, knightswood, carntyne it just gets worse. The rest is just a shithole. I travel everywhere for my work around Glasgow and there hasn’t been that much progress. People’s mentalities seem stuck in the 90s. It needs a good cleansing. Drug deaths are sky high, gang violence has made its way back into society. The streets are a mess. Drug dealing is rife and there isn’t enough money to tackle these problems. I don’t know where the fuck my tax is going. We need longer prison sentences, a reformed benefits system and industry. What we don’t need is auntie sturgeons independence which won’t solve a thing. by SafetyKooky7837 (Wed 20th Oct 2021 10:43pm)
  • Lol how is it difficult to cross the m8 as a pedestrian. Use the traffic lights. The 2 biggest improvements blah blah….. that’s your opinion. The best way to improve quality of life is improve flow of traffic. Omg cars cause noise calm down. If you have such a problem with the car noise then don’t live on a main road genius. by SafetyKooky7837 (Fri 5th Nov 2021 11:35pm)
  • Oh my god another tree hugger. Fs folks closing the m8 would cause absolute mayhem for working folk. The unemployed and retired would love a cluster fuck. by SafetyKooky7837 (Fri 5th Nov 2021 11:28pm)
  • Sorry it’s not a status thing. It’s called convenience. First get public transport up to standards then I’ll change my mind. It’s a bloody shambles just now. Life is a race and some people are content with being no1 and some people are content with being no10. But we ought to respect everyone’s preference. Seems like everyone wants to be part of the rat race so if people want to buy more cars let them. by SafetyKooky7837 (Sat 6th Nov 2021 1:12pm)
  • How many cyclists do you see a day let me guess 10???? And you use how much of the road…. Yeah no argument there. by SafetyKooky7837 (Sat 6th Nov 2021 1:09pm)
