  • Ive noticed shelves of them everywhere but not reduced prices yet. I think the demand at the start made shops and Barrs prob get carried away. Looks like it's gonna be limited edition after all. I don't really drink fizzy juice that much anymore but would like the option of this one for hangovers or a sunny day . The standard bru these days just doesn't cut it by YouCallThatRadio (Mon 3rd Feb 2020 9:06pm)

  • We were all little insects hiding under a rock . The pandemic lifted the rock and now we are all scurrying about trying to find a place to go. Some people are looking at a more rural lifestyle but for people in London , Glasgow is almost like a wee village and a fraction of the cost for superior housing. Jobs and meetings are moving online so people may have more choice over their city, Many Relationships, and friendships, will not have handled the pressure of being stuck in a house together. Then there's inheritance due to increase in elderly deaths. Then there is rich people who buy shit when times are tough because they see a flurry of activity and know they can outbid. Lots of reasons. That and Glasgow is decent. by YouCallThatRadio (Fri 4th Jun 2021 5:02pm)

  • Have this award. Love to see people doing a good deed. I have been lucky to have ben away from pre-pay for a few years now. It\`s an absolute piss-take how much more expensive it is than monthly/ quarterly and targetted at the poorest in society. • Bloc is a good shout for 3am license and good atmosphere with decent tunes/ volume but not on weekends where its defo loud and busier by YouCallThatRadio (Mon 4th Jul 2022 1:02am)
  • I think it depends who's on the bar. I\`m not in that much but when up for a late night pint on Monday/ Tuesday/ Wednesday I have always found it to be ideal amount of volume so you can hear decent tunes but still being able to talk shite with a pal. Weekends are defo much much fuller on. I think Thursday would be included in weekend but Sunday might be more chilled as it\`s an acoustic open mic until about 12 I think but that last bit could be 'before times' information by YouCallThatRadio (Mon 4th Jul 2022 3:23pm)

Next door to paseano. Probably not what you r looking for but two courses and a soft drink for £11. Good Portions and decent food / friendly staff. by YouCallThatRadio (Tue 9th Aug 2022 2:16am)

  • It's a shame because I remember getting a brilliant mojito one time as a dude played piano in the background but my mate worked with them and spent the full of lockdown fighting for wages.. Don't know how it all ended but this is the most recent update I could see https://www.glasgowlive.co.uk/news/glasgow-bar-owners-ordered-pay-23345605 (I remember when they reopened with new staff they were selling previous staffs Cocktail ideas) by YouCallThatRadio (Wed 10th Aug 2022 9:52am)

Its safe to get the train with a massive safety in numbers vibes. Ps if its the Kendrick Lamar gig on Wednesday 2nd November then come to our Club Anywhen after party show at Room 2 feat. A friend of mine who is a taxi driver says boundary charge is completely at the drivers discretion whether they charge it all and how much. • Manchester has the same friendly vibe but could turn aggressive if you wanted it to 😂 I think Belfast has some similarities but definitely has a uniqueness in its own right. Not spent enough time in Liverpool to properly compare but aye I would say Manchester. Great music scene, football rivalry and good patter by YouCallThatRadio (Mon 13th Mar 2023 12:02pm)
  • I've heard a few people say the snug in Dennistoun has the best pint of T. Legend has it its one of the crew from the brewery changes the keg himself coz its his local. Went on the tennents tour in the brewery once, asked the guide and he confirmed it / humoured me. Defo seemed a decent pint as far as tennents goes and prob one of the cheapest as well by YouCallThatRadio (Sat 25th Mar 2023 12:35am)

  • Some people arent used to living in tenaments and/or understanding how loud they actually are. I have been on both sides of this. The loud neighbour who was mortified i was disturbing someone and also been the quiet neighbour who nicely asked the neighbour to keep it down which they did. Not everyone is a bad person, most people are trying tbeir best but a bit too wrapped up in their own wee world. Noise is also subjective and Walls are thinner from building to building. by YouCallThatRadio (Thu 27th Jul 2023 3:05am)
