  • Citylink used to send their mobile tickets as a text message (around 10 years ago, so might no longer work). The codes to decipher what the ticket meant were extremely obvious. It was pretty much along the lines of YYYYDDMMHHMM-M8-\[RANDOM NUMBERS\] and if you were to create one of those and send it to yourself, then show the driver, he'd just let you on as they have no method of actually checking. Anyone know if this still works? by c_dawg7 (Fri 4th Jan 2019 4:32pm)

  • My office has 2 male and 2 female showers (no idea why we don’t just have 4 showers - they’re all separate rooms). It’s bad enough in the summer when you get a few extra people cycling and wanting a shower. by c_dawg7 (Sun 20th Jan 2019 10:18am)

  • I had a PT for around 6 months at David Lloyd. I got the passes when they were on offer for around £27-30 (different offers) per session. Those 6 months were the best workouts I’ve ever had and I was in the best shape of my life. For me it was worth it. by c_dawg7 (Sun 20th Jan 2019 10:23am)
  • £800 sounds about right for Band E for 5 months. by c_dawg7 (Sun 20th Jan 2019 10:21am)
  • I just did one session a week. He put me on a PPL routine and we’d do whatever workout I happened to be on when I went to see him. Having a trainer encouraged me to work harder as we were taking body fat measurements regularly so had something to aim towards. by c_dawg7 (Sun 20th Jan 2019 1:41pm)

  • Definitely live in uni provided accommodation if you can. It will be a far better experience and you’ll get to meet far more people. You won’t be far from your friends and can still see them all the time but everyone will be close to their classes. by c_dawg7 (Wed 30th Jan 2019 7:31am)
  • Not having your NI number isn’t an excuse to start applying for jobs. If you’ve previously had one and just lost it that’s an even worse excuse. See below. Print out a hundred copies of your CV and hit the streets. Walk into every shop and restaurant and ask if they need anyone else working there. Hand them your CV to keep on file if they say no. So many places have signs on the window saying staff needed etc. You could probably find a restaurant that has a need for a KP to start tonight if you tried hard enough. Posting on Reddit is not trying hard, it’s an excuse to make you think you’re looking for work. If you don’t have a CV then that is your job for this morning. There are lots of examples of what to put on it when you don’t have any real experience online. And to everyone who is going to tell me that you can’t just hand out CVs and expect to find a job: you can and it is a real thing. Smaller shops and independent restaurants hire almost solely this way. Larger chains will have an online process but smaller places do not. “Working without a National Insurance number You can start work before your National Insurance number arrives if you can prove you can work in the UK. You should tell your employer that you’ve applied for one, and give it to them when you have it.” https://www.gov.uk/apply-national-insurance-number by c_dawg7 (Wed 30th Jan 2019 7:39am)
  • No more than half an hour. Really depends on the halls you’re allocated. When I was at Strathclyde the international students were mostly housed on High Street. From there it’s a 10 minute walk to Buchanan Street Underground. 10 minutes on the underground gets you to Hillhead in the west end where Glasgow uni is. I’m not sure where Glasgow Uni puts there international students but they have halls all across the West End. by c_dawg7 (Wed 30th Jan 2019 8:56am)

  • Really? I’ve just hired 2, and possibly a 3rd soon, people and don’t have a clue whether there is a cover letter or not. I simply don’t give a fuck about the BS you’re meant to write in them. I want to see your CV and that’s it. by c_dawg7 (Tue 5th Feb 2019 12:25am)

  • I'd highly recommend saving the cash on fitting and just doing it yourself, or spending that money on higher quality flooring. We found ours very straightforward - we did 2 rooms and a hallway last summer. The first room (kitchen) had lots of funny angles etc took the best part of a day but subsequently the hallway and other room took a day combined. Our quotes for fitting were pretty ridiculous and in the end I bought a jigsaw for £30 and a few tools and managed absolutely fine with a great result. I had never done anything like this in the past, I've never had to do any DIY before at all. It's remarkably straight forward. I watched one YouTube video and then off I went. We bought our laminate from B&Q at around £10 per square meter. We decided that we'd go for cheap stuff as we'd already spent so much on the flat. If it's not great we thought we'd upgrade in a few years time. 6 months later it's doing great, we love it. by c_dawg7 (Tue 12th Feb 2019 1:06pm)

  • Two stories which go well here: 1) Commonwealth Games Opening Ceremony at Celtic Park. Great event and great atmosphere apart from I was sitting near an exit/entrance and a security guard there was talking very loudly and colourfully to another security guard. He was practically shouting at him because it was so loud. Everybody was looking around at him as it was a huge distraction. I eventually went to ask him to be quieter. I think he thought I wanted the entire volume of the show turned down. No, just you. To be fair to him, he looked embarrassed and disappeared. Two different people said thanks when I got back to my seat. 2) Arcade Fire at the Hydro. Girl behind me was high pitched, Beatlesmania style, screaming all the way through it. So many people asked her to be quiet and she just replied, “but it’s a gig”. Surely if multiple people ask you to shut up you’d think you were doing something wrong... by c_dawg7 (Sun 17th Feb 2019 7:36am)

  • There are no defined rules and you don’t need to go to pub number 1 again - we went to a club. We did vodkas rather than full pints and just made sure we got in, had our drink and left. Apart from one Southside stop where we had a bottle of tonic instead. 6 hours gives you a half an hour an hour per stop, including travel time, which is more than enough time. We averaged 20 minutes at the start to give yourself time later on. We do it every year and keep track of the times we enter each bar. It’s not that difficult. by c_dawg7 (Sat 23rd Feb 2019 9:30am)

And I can't believe you bought a car without taking it for a test drive?! I'd nope straight out of there if they said that to me. by c_dawg7 (Mon 25th Feb 2019 2:54pm)
  • I tried it and wasn’t impressed with their social set up compared to other clubs. Went along quite a few times on Sunday and Monday’s to the social. On one occasion the guy running it clearly didn’t want to be there. The balls they use are at least a year old, even though everyone pays £4-6 they still can’t buy new balls every few sessions? The people playing seemed friendly but it didn’t feel like a tennis club like I was used to. I gave up and joined a real club. by c_dawg7 (Wed 27th Feb 2019 11:52am)

  • For good reason. The landlord is a client of the factor, not you. Landlord pays the factor fees and deals with them. by c_dawg7 (Sun 17th Mar 2019 9:22pm)
  • You report to landlord / letting agents and they talk to the factor. If you report to factor then they can go ahead and carry out work at expense to all the owners with no authorisation so it makes sense it needs to go through the person that pays the bill. by c_dawg7 (Sun 17th Mar 2019 9:52pm)
  • They don’t need to ask for authorisation though for repairs up to a certain limit. If you report something trivial they can come out and fix it and charge whatever they want back to the owners. by c_dawg7 (Mon 18th Mar 2019 7:14am)
  • Then it should be reported to your landlord. I don’t really get the issue here. You are not the factors client so therefore why should you be able to talk to them about the account? by c_dawg7 (Mon 18th Mar 2019 8:35am)

  • Drivers won’t like this but it all seems positive to me. Byres Road shouldn’t be a major route for vehicles. It should be a lot nicer after this. by c_dawg7 (Mon 22nd Apr 2019 6:21pm)
  • Having lived and driven in the west end for years I always found alternative routes than Byres Road, including when I lived just off Athole Gardens. Anything to avoid the cross at Tennents. There are plenty of other ways to go. Byres Road will still be open, just a bit busier due to the works and one-way system at the bottom. by c_dawg7 (Tue 23rd Apr 2019 7:12am)
  • Definitely agree you should follow PowerLeague and be available at short notice as they post up on the day if a team is short and needs someone. I imagine if you get on well the team will ask for your number for next time they’re short. by c_dawg7 (Tue 23rd Apr 2019 4:35pm)
  • So your negotiating point was that you wanted them to fulfill their contractual obligation to you? Which was already a contractual obligation before the negotiation. by c_dawg7 (Fri 26th Apr 2019 11:32am)
  • The major blockage is due to the traffic lights isn't it? My bus was sat there for almost 15 minutes a few days ago because it was in the correct lane but other vehicles (almost entirely taxis / private hires) were cutting down the wrong lane and cutting in front. by c_dawg7 (Fri 26th Apr 2019 11:31am)
  • That was all true before the rent negotiation as well. What happened is your tenant asked for £25 a month discount and you said yes. by c_dawg7 (Fri 26th Apr 2019 1:35pm)

  • I’m going to go ahead and disagree with the others on the rent. £700 seems about right for a nice flat in either city centre or west end. I paid £650 for a decent sized 1-bed further along Great Western Road (5 minutes from Oran Mor towards Anniesland) 4 years ago and £815 for bang on Byres road for a few years after that for a stunning, huge 1 bed. by c_dawg7 (Mon 6th May 2019 1:00pm)
  • It’s a pretty standard lease. Being a shared building doesn’t make a difference. by c_dawg7 (Mon 6th May 2019 9:33pm)

  • Getting the bus, on average, is 45 minutes door to door. I drove this morning and it took 25 minutes and that was a slow journey because of road works. On a bad day the bus is over an hour. We car share too so the parking is £7 all day which is cheaper than 4 bus tickets even when you buy a pack of 20 on the app. by c_dawg7 (Wed 8th May 2019 9:32am)

  • Electric cars have the same issue. We are trained to look but in reality listening is half of what you do as well. Electric cars are so quiet people have a tendency to walk out in front of them, especially in car parks. by c_dawg7 (Wed 8th May 2019 9:30am)

  • I've enjoyed it as well. It's clearly not as good as previous seasons and the pacing is hugely different, to it's detriment, but on the whole it's been very enjoyable. I thought you could see Dany going crazier and crazier throughout the last two series, the second to last episode didn't come as a surprise to me. by c_dawg7 (Mon 20th May 2019 10:59am)
  • >It rains almost every day. It rains around 170 days of the year and the vast majority of those are autumn/winter months. Come Spring/Summer we can do days and days without any rain. And for OP's benefit, those 170 days aren't full days of rain. They're normally a short shower here and there. by c_dawg7 (Mon 20th May 2019 10:55am)

  • You can cycle without a helmet but you’ve got to be an absolute moron to do so. Everyone knows how bad the infrastructure here is and how mental some drivers are. Every cyclist should also know that something as simple as a helmet can save your life should you fall or be knocked off your bike. Always wear a helmet. by c_dawg7 (Thu 23rd May 2019 8:43am)
  • The vast majority of the time it’s the landlord that cause issues rather than the letting agent. If you find a flat you like just go for it regardless of which company lets it out. You know that all of them are going to be a ballache to get your deposit back at the end and you’re going to have to battle to get a repair done. by c_dawg7 (Thu 23rd May 2019 8:47am)
  • Regardless, if you fall off with a helmet you’ll have a much better time than if you don’t. We need to train drivers to treat everyone the same. by c_dawg7 (Fri 24th May 2019 1:04am)

It's clear to see that Glasgow have started on the path of redeveloping the riverside, your post points this out well with the Science Centre, Riverside Museum, SEC / Hydro etc. These new plans are a whole new part of it. If you’re looking in a popular area you need to be on the websites every single day, multiple times a day, and as soon as a flat goes live phone the letting agent (don’t email - it takes too long to get a reply) and ask for a viewing. Take the first viewing available as if it’s a nice flat someone from the first viewing will take it. At the viewing register interest and then it’s down to the landlord / letting agent to pick between all the people who apply. by c_dawg7 (Fri 14th Jun 2019 6:40pm)

  • I also worked for them and disagree. It was 9-5:30 and no more than that. Perhaps it was just my level, though. I was quite junior. For what it’s worth, everyone at Barclays says MS is long hours and a terrible cultures and everyone at MS says the same about Barclays. I think it just depends on your job and your team. I’m not at either anymore, but saw both happen at both companies and also people leaving right on time at both with no complaints from anyone. by c_dawg7 (Tue 25th Jun 2019 6:30pm)
  • I have no issue with this. It’s impossible to get an on-street space on a Sunday because people park all day and never move. There’s no real reason for it to be free on a Sunday either now. Sunday is no different to any other day in terms of shopping and people coming to the city centre. by c_dawg7 (Fri 28th Jun 2019 8:24pm)
  • As far as I know First Buses are on the whole relatively eco friendly? They replaced a lot recently with better models. Also, if SPT were to take it over one might assume that the physical buses would be part of the deal as it’s not as if FirstGroup will still require those buses. by c_dawg7 (Fri 28th Jun 2019 8:27pm)
  • Everyone should have a fair chance to access the on-street parking. Putting the 2 hour limit on it is fair. If you want to park for longer go to a multi-storey which is also cheaper. by c_dawg7 (Fri 28th Jun 2019 8:49pm)
  • Buses have a number on the back of them to signify their eco rating. I think it’s between 1 and 6. However, after a 5 minute google I can’t actually see anything about this so I might be making this up. The number is, I think, at the right hand side. Roughly in the middle of a double decker. by c_dawg7 (Fri 28th Jun 2019 11:03pm)

  • Yeah I thought that was hilarious. The same twats were saying the lack of parking for a cinema wouldn’t matter because everyone would just walk. Another person once told me that anyone living in a flat just doesn’t need to have a car. by c_dawg7 (Sun 7th Jul 2019 12:06pm)

  • The Crow Road is a brutal climb but it’s absolutely worth it. You could also just cycle out from town towards Milngavie, to Strathblane, to Killearn along the main road. Cars go pretty fast but cyclists are very common on it. I’d avoid the Stockiemuir Road at all costs. I’ve cycled it once - never again. by c_dawg7 (Thu 25th Jul 2019 5:55am)

  • Indeed - best option Jobserve - more contract oriented normally S1Jobs - doesn’t update nearly as often as Indeed and largely the same when it does Aside from that, register with every single recruitment agent you can find on google. Apply for every single job that a recruitment agent posts even if it’s slightly relevant. at the very least your CV will get in front of a recruiter, even if you aren’t suited for that job there might be another that is more suitable. Be proactive! Most tech jobs are posted by recruitment agencies. Keep a record of every job you apply for and call the recruiter up after a couple of days to follow up and check they got it. Most of the time it will turn into a 5-10 minute conversation about who you are and what you want. It shows them that you’re keen. Note: this doesn’t apply for direct applications as generally there’s no one to contact. by c_dawg7 (Tue 30th Jul 2019 9:36am)

Apart from cunts show up and queue from 8 so if you don’t do that it would be hours until you’re seen. If you phone for an appointment they’ll tell you to call back after 11. Then when you do that at 11 on the dot there are no appointments available because the other receptionist was fine making one prior to 11. by c_dawg7 (Sat 3rd Aug 2019 11:37am)

I know someone who desperately wanted the flat so went almost 1/3 over HR (more money than sense). West end it’s not uncommon to be 20% plus. I used to live next door to it and a large number of the pupils were not from poor families, every single morning and afternoon they’d get dropped off in huge land rovers, BMWs and even taxis. by c_dawg7 (Thu 28th Nov 2019 8:52pm)
  • You’re arguing against your own point as well. You say it’s for the poor but it’s actually a catchment based school in a very wealthy area. Question1: Why shouldn’t boys be allowed to attend this school? Question 2: if it does cater for poor people, why would allowing boys in change this? You were extremely fortunate to attend a very good school. A boy who lives next door to you would not have been given that opportunity and that is inherently unfair. Question 3: why do you think this is fair? by c_dawg7 (Thu 28th Nov 2019 8:58pm)

  • This is a commonly trouted line which isn’t really true. Throughout the history of Glasgow the river was the lifeblood of the city. We’ve got the Science centre right on the river, and the Riverside Museum which makes use of the river to host an attraction. There are new leisure developments in Partick going to be right on the city. Of course, more can be done. The new Barclays development is a good start, they’re turning the old closed off street into a garden area that will be open to the public and one of the three buildings will have a restaurant open to the public. by c_dawg7 (Sun 29th Dec 2019 8:48am)

If you’re going in the evening it’s free parking or £3.50 for the council multi-storeys if you can’t get a space on the street. Frankly, it’s a no brainer if you have a car. Everyone does it (including me previously) because it legally saves you money in tax. You might also receive dividends from other companies and from what I remember (it’s been a few years since I was self employed, so could be wrong) dividends aren’t split by company on your tax return so there’s no way to distinguish if they were from self employment or from a company you just own shares in. by c_dawg7 (Fri 27th Mar 2020 3:00pm)

  • A judge will not side with you because the law says otherwise. You have a signed contract to pay the rent. You and your boyfriend are jointly liable for 100% of the rent payment. It doesn’t matter who pays it but 100% is legally owed to your landlord at each rent interval. The landlords mortgage holiday, or lack thereof, has nothing to do with this and is completely irrelevant in the matter. Even if the landlord does get a mortgage holiday this isn’t free money given by the banks, it has to be paid at some point. by c_dawg7 (Tue 31st Mar 2020 8:23am)

Keep your dossier of evidence your sleeve for such a time a problem arises (getting out of your lease early, or a problem your landlord won’t fix, not getting deposit back) and you will be well covered. Your lease legally does not have an end date and you can give your notice at any time. Regardless of what your lease actually says, it cannot override the law. by c_dawg7 (Mon 11th May 2020 9:27am)

  • Air pollution, making it safer for pedestrians/cyclists and general health/fitness. In theory there shouldn’t be many people who need to drive into the city centre (of course there will always be some need). Public transport should serve the city centre and should be fast and cheap to get there. Right now that isn’t the case as driving is simply the more attractive option if there are a few of you going. Not being able to drive would also encourage more cycling as a lot of people are put off by cars and the awful cycling infrastructure. by c_dawg7 (Mon 1st Jun 2020 12:02pm)

  • Not at all surprised at that. People who live in flats are really disadvantaged during the lockdown when we weren't even allowed to sit in the park on a nice day. That was probably the one thing that dampened my spirits. Seeing friends/family have BBQs, sitting in garden etc, during lockdown definitely didn't help when I was basically stuck inside and allowed out once a day for an hour. We had always planned on moving to a house in 2-3 years, I'm tempted to bring this down to 1-2 years because of this crisis. I know things should be back to relative normal but it's just made me really want an outdoor area to call my own even more. by c_dawg7 (Mon 15th Jun 2020 11:13am)
  • >I also read that 95% LTV mortgages have been hard to source over the last few months, but that was just anecdotal. Even 90% LTV mortgages are getting increasingly more difficult to come back according to /r/ukpersonalfinance. Banks less willing to take on the risk. by c_dawg7 (Mon 15th Jun 2020 11:11am)
  • Don't worry about the value of your own home too much. If you're just moving now you're presumably going to be there at least a few years as it doesn't make sense if you aren't. In that time you'd hope the market would pick back up to at least when you are on breakeven point. The second reason, and why I want house prices to come down, is because *most* people when they purchase are up-sizing and spending more. If you're sticking to roughly the same area then you can assume that prices will rise and fall roughly by the same amount. Your theoretical 100k property that decreases by 5% is now worth 95k. The 200k property you are buying next has gone down by 10k and you are quids in when you move. Now obviously that's a very simplistic way of viewing it and there are more factors in play, but on the whole, don't worry about property prices when you have bought a place. No good comes out of it unless you are planning on moving. Your home is not an investment, it's your home. by c_dawg7 (Mon 15th Jun 2020 11:17am)
  • Well done and enjoy your new home. You have years until you even need to consider if the value of it is going up or down. I moved west end to south side and love it down here. I do miss the west end but on the whole very happy with the move. by c_dawg7 (Mon 15th Jun 2020 12:29pm)

Further back its hard to tell but generally people have been good about standing far back in lines so I'm tempted to say that it's probably a perspective issue in the photo. • Grad job at Charing Cross. I can guess who you work for! You probably won’t be in the office until end of September at the earliest if it’s who I’m thinking of so major rush on getting a place. The number 3 bus goes from Shawlands and stops along Bath Street. It takes anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour depending on traffic. Usually around the 45 mark. I often get the train to Central (7 minutes) and it’s an 11 minute fast walk, or 15 minute causal walk. If you drive there’s a car park which most companies get a discount for and is £7 all day. It goes up by 50p every 6 months. I see you mention the company I’m thinking of in a recent comment. PM if you want any info about the grad scheme as I know about it. by c_dawg7 (Tue 7th Jul 2020 1:09pm)
  • If you didn’t know already, closing dates only benefit the seller. If you like a place don’t wait until closing to put an offer in. The estate agent legally has to let the seller know and if they’re happy with the price they might accept there and then. I was caught out by that a few years ago when I was buying. Loads of flats would be off the market before I even put an offer in. by c_dawg7 (Thu 9th Jul 2020 9:17am)
  • Nope - official guidance up until a few years ago (not sure if it’s changed as I no longer need a permit) was if you haven’t official got a permit approved you will need to pay and display. by c_dawg7 (Fri 10th Jul 2020 10:53am)
  • One we offered 182.5 (2.5 over home report) and it eventually went for for I think 207. Ridiculous. Almost impossible for first time buyers to get on the market. We ended up buying a fixer upper than no one else wanted because it needed so much work. Bought under HR. by c_dawg7 (Fri 10th Jul 2020 10:52am)

  • I don’t have a problem with it if the landlords are forced to maintain the property to a high standard. I also think first time buyers should have first option on anything on the market, although I have no idea how this would work. They need to sort the issue of not getting mortgages for anything over home report as all nice places go for more than home report. LBTT should definitely be even higher than it currently is for anyone who’s purchasing a second property. by c_dawg7 (Fri 10th Jul 2020 5:27pm)

However they should go through a legitimate process and give the employee time to up their game prior to a dismissing them, and if it was in anyway linked to them signing the petition 2 weeks before that is obviously terrible. by c_dawg7 (Wed 15th Jul 2020 2:37pm)

  • The vast majority of letting agents won’t allow anyone who they haven’t met and vetted to lease a flat. This is done during the tour of the flat itself. Your best bet is to get to Glasgow, find a short term rental (airbnb or similar) and at that point start looking for a flat. They get taken quickly. You need to be on Rightmove hourly sorting by newest and if you like one that gets put on call the agent immediately (not email, you’ll be left in the dust) and arrange the first possible viewing. 2 days time is too late and lets someone else get in front of you in the queue. At the viewing make a good impression, and if you like it immediately tell them you want it. Again, waiting a day will let someone else get there first. by c_dawg7 (Mon 20th Jul 2020 8:49am)
  • On the road by the distillery is generally alright to park as there is on verge parking and not completely blocking the road. You can also park 5 minutes walk at the Oak Tree if you don’t mind buying some food from them too as it’s a dick move otherwise. If you park on the road at the Devil’s Pulpit you will 100% get lynched though. by c_dawg7 (Mon 20th Jul 2020 6:41pm)

Exit the M8 before the Kingston bridge towards the SECC for it and turn right onto the Expressway. Driving in Partick is absolutely fine and no different to anywhere else, there’s a big main road (Dumbarton Road) with lots of lights and then side streets off it. by c_dawg7 (Tue 28th Jul 2020 11:19am)

  • EPC ratings are only done by what the inspector can see. If there’s no obvious way of getting into the attic space they can’t report either way if there’s loft insulation. We used a scheme to get ours installed in a tenement 2 years ago. We had to get a new EPC done afterwards and the guy who came to do the test wasn’t able to look into the attic to confirm it so had to take our invoice and receipts from the installation company as proof. It cost around £750 for the loft insulation and was for around 100m2. Our floor space is only 82m2. I’m not sure if it’s normal or not for loft to be bigger than floor space but factor it in. We used the Energy Saving Trust and got 25% cash back upon completion and had to get the new EPC as part of that. EST offer 0% finance to cover it as well. It’s a Great deal. Best thing we’ve done to the flat it made a huge difference. I’m still fighting to get this back. When we moved out they tried to charge us for damage that was clearly in their own check-in report. They also tried to charge us for professional cleaning even though the landlord had told us the entire flat was getting renovated as soon as we moved out and there was no need to clean to a professional standard. • Test4Glasgow - help us to beat Covid-19 Mass asymptomatic community testing is coming to Glasgow in your area and we're looking for your help in beating Covid-19 so everyday life can get back to normal for all of us more quickly. You can have Covid and not know about it - people don't always get symptoms. Getting a test will make sure you don't have it, make sure you can't pass it on, and make sure we get Glasgow out of level four quicker. You can help your friends, neighbours and local community by taking a quick, simple, safe and effective test - near where you live, and get the results in less than 48 hours. As this is a pilot scheme initially, two mobile testing centres have been set up in Pollokshields and Dalmarnock - two areas of Glasgow with higher than average Covid infection rates. If we can understand why infection rates in these two pilot areas are higher than elsewhere, it will help us take measures to drive down infection rates across the city. You may have seen in the media details of a similar scheme running in Liverpool. We only want people to get tested if they have no Covid-19 symptoms at all. This is particularly important so if you have any of the main Covid -19 symptoms - a fever (high temperature), a new, continuous cough or loss of taste and/or smell - please book a separate test immediately at https://www.nhsinform.scot/ If you have no Covid-19 symptoms please Book a test. It's free and will only take a few minutes. We've set up mobile testing centres near you in Pollokshields (in the large car park on Albert Drive, opposite the Tramway Theatre) and Dalmarnock (in the Emirates Arena car park.) They'll be open from 9am - 6pm every day until December 9. If you can, please Book a test at the link above or you can also simply turn up and get a test on the spot if that's easier for you. You can also find out more about the test, how to get to the test centre and what to expect when you get there by visiting our web site. Understanding how many people in your community have Covid-19 but with no symptoms will help everyone. So please take the test...for yourself, your loved ones, and your community. by c_dawg7 (Mon 30th Nov 2020 8:08am)
