  • Hopefully you do. Unfortunately I lost one of my sisters during this pandemic and they allowed close family to attend her funeral, there was 13 of us there including her kids and some nieces etc, that was in April. Hopefully you can go πŸ’— by saladfingersisme (Thu 9th Jul 2020 10:12am)

  • Loud. Just very very loud. Used to live in Holland St FYI, so first hand experience πŸ’€ by saladfingersisme (Mon 17th Aug 2020 12:27pm)
  • Much worse. I wish I had listened to people telling me to avoid cottage flats. I spent ten years underneath the neighbours from hell and loud morons next door. I would say if you do go for it, try Suss out the neighbours go to their door ask what the area is like and find out if they have kids/dogs etc. If they do, avoid. Best of luck in your search. by saladfingersisme (Thu 25th Feb 2021 9:04am)
  • Yes but in Hillington, lower cottage flat. You can hear everything. Fine if you have decent neighbours, if you don’t it can be a nightmare. Always go for upper cottage! by saladfingersisme (Thu 25th Feb 2021 9:00am)

  • Agree with most folk here I went a few years ago and there were loads of stalls selling soaps etc and a number of stalls that were selling food ran out really quickly and queues were ridiculous. • I’m not sure who to recommend but I sincerely recommend you stay away from Able driving school. One of their instructors turned up on the day of my test with a car id never driven saying his had broken down, ok cool, but the car clearly hadn’t been used in a while. I couldn’t even get into reverse or first gear without using two hands, and changing gears throughout the heat was awful. Even the test examiner offered to back up my complaint. The driving instructor told me I couldn’t change the gears easily because i was a small woman. No joke 🀣 so yeah avoid! by saladfingersisme (Tue 23rd Nov 2021 3:28pm)
  • Thank you! After my initial upset, the rage came and I absolutely went through them over the phone, they refunded my test fee as a “goodwill gesture” 🀣 good luck with your lessons! by saladfingersisme (Wed 24th Nov 2021 2:52am)

  • They’ll certainly give it a bash 🀣 by saladfingersisme (Thu 9th Dec 2021 10:57am)
  • http://theredfoundation.net we adopted our two dachshunds from here. Dogs trust rejected us because all dogs weren’t suitable for any kids under 18, and I made the mistake of mentioning my 5 year niece visits every few months. We have huge private gardens, no kids, work from home (even before the pandemic) and we were still rejected on this basis, wish I was joking! by saladfingersisme (Tue 14th Dec 2021 1:22pm)

  • Oh so many! For dinner - Cafe Puti, Soul Food kitchen, stereo, the 78, mono, suissi Asian kitchen, the hug and pint. I have purposely not listed the 13th note as the food has been shit the last few times I’ve been. Lunching - picnic, serenity now, glasvegan, rawnchy, mayze, meadow road cafe Most restaurants offer vegan options now also if you’re wanting to go somewhere that offers both. Good luck! by saladfingersisme (Wed 5th Jan 2022 9:28am)

  • Awful last few times I’ve been, very slow service, had to send food back as it was cold, forgot drinks etc. Was hoping it was a one off, but sadly not. Hope they sort it out as it was class by saladfingersisme (Tue 15th Feb 2022 5:36pm)
  • Are you referring to mono, or generalising for all veggie places? As a vegan who goes out to eat regularly (whilst usually starving), I don’t find the wait to be any longer than for non veggie food, however the last few trips to mono we waited an hour for starters 🀷🏻‍♀️ by saladfingersisme (Wed 16th Feb 2022 8:04pm)
  • My mum, who is in a care home, waited 5 hours for an ambulance last week. Numerous residents from the home have died waiting for an ambulance. Scary times. by saladfingersisme (Wed 16th Feb 2022 11:13pm)
  • I work in public sector and my best advice would be try to stay calm (hard I know) and remind yourself they are just people too. Rehearse what you’re going to say, write down examples for all sorts of competency based scenarios (problem solving, difficult situations you’ve had to resolve with customers/suppliers/colleagues, best achievements so far, how you manage workload etc) to cover your bases and just read them over a few times so it flows naturally. Very best of luck, hope you get it πŸ‘πŸ» by saladfingersisme (Sun 20th Feb 2022 10:25am)

  • Give Isan Thai Food Market a try, it’s on Dumbarton road in Patrick. Appreciate this is a Thai shop but the usually store all sorts of weird and wonderful veggies. by saladfingersisme (Mon 11th Apr 2022 2:10pm)
  • https://www.woofwoofwalkies.com Jeniffer comes highly recommended. If your wee pooch is nervous by nature, please please avoid putting her in kennels if you can as they will be awful for her nerves and she’ll be left alone overnight. If you go with home boarding it’s a much nicer and calmer experience for your pup. by saladfingersisme (Wed 20th Apr 2022 10:55pm)

Pool is often filled with either kids or oaps, jacuzzi is tiny (outdoor one is great though), and the steam room has cracked tiles which I cut my foot in recently. • Aww amazing! I have a wee dachshund who came from Hungary with 12 others, all rescued from a cull farm. • http://www.rockuschoir.com this was great fun when I used to go, £5 per visit, and still on every Thursday. by saladfingersisme (Sun 30th Apr 2023 2:59pm)
  • You’ll be glad you missed it, I was there yesterday afternoon and it was just weird! Songs that weren’t in the film and loads of script changes. At points tumbleweed could have crossed it was so silent and awkward. The random mega mix of the films songs in the last 5 mins was the only highlight. by saladfingersisme (Sun 30th Apr 2023 3:10pm)
  • Good stuff. Enjoy πŸ™ŒπŸ» they are a really nice bunch of people. by saladfingersisme (Sun 30th Apr 2023 5:55pm)
  • I’ve adopted two dogs now via https://theredfoundation.net we were in the same boat as you, most charities wouldn’t entertain us simply because I made the mistake of mentioning my toddler niece visited maybe once every 6 months. by saladfingersisme (Mon 1st May 2023 1:39pm)
  • Sorry to hear that, very traumatic for you to experience this too, take care of yourself. by saladfingersisme (Mon 8th May 2023 3:10pm)
  • You will get parked in the multi story at the hospital no bother at any time, the first 2/3 floors fill up quickly but the higher you go fhe more spaces there are. Am there fairly regularly so can vouch for this. Hope your op goes ok. by saladfingersisme (Mon 15th May 2023 6:43pm)
  • We’ve just used Tapi Flooring, they are decent and not too unreasonably priced. by saladfingersisme (Mon 12th Jun 2023 8:40am)
  • Guess we all have different experiences, we’ve had no issues and flooring looks great. Hopefully I don’t come to regret saying this soon! by saladfingersisme (Mon 12th Jun 2023 4:58pm)
  • Get the train to crookston from Glasgow city centre and walk up, less than ten mins. Mosspark train station is a bit of a trek as it’s nearer cardonald. You can also get the x8 bus and get off on crookston road and walk up in a few mins. by saladfingersisme (Fri 23rd Jun 2023 5:54pm)
  • No probs, went to crookston castle secondary and used to live in pollok :) so know the area well! by saladfingersisme (Fri 23rd Jun 2023 7:10pm)
