  • Also have a couple of brown pairs and black pairs of dress shoes size 9 which are yours if ye fancy. If you send me a message can send pics. In west end. by Outrageous_Sugar9911 (Fri 17th Jun 2022 9:56pm)
  • ‘Workie Types’ lol. Shut up man. by Outrageous_Sugar9911 (Sun 26th Jun 2022 3:20pm)
  • Also in Finnieston. If you want an economical way to exercise (for muscle gain and general full body health) gymnastic rings are a great investment. 20-30 quid on Amazon and you can build everything but legs. I usually go down to the callisthenics park at kelvin bridge to use them. If you’d like to give them a try feel free to shoot me a message! by Outrageous_Sugar9911 (Sat 9th Jul 2022 4:06pm)
  • Back of kelvin grove are galleries is a nice wee spot by Outrageous_Sugar9911 (Fri 15th Jul 2022 11:16am)
  • In the legal context (not moral) yes it is necessary to allow a Nazi March to take place should they go through the same process the OO go through to BW granted this right by the council. It’s fucked up but it’s necessary to allow freedom of assembly to all citizens equally - similarly to how the ACLU defended the freedom of speech rights of the KKK, Nation of Islam and indeed Nazi organisations, Glasgow City Council cannot pick and choose whose beliefs are righteous enough to allow freedom of assembly. I am with you, I can’t stand the OO. I live on Argyle Street and it feels like almost half the mornings I wake up to flutes and drums and a bad mood for the day. But as I said, I think a necessary evil given the bigger context. by Outrageous_Sugar9911 (Sat 20th Aug 2022 5:30pm)
  • What ones? FWiW if that is the case then it would be hard to convince me that GCC is justified in banning any assembly assuming non-violence and procedures followed. by Outrageous_Sugar9911 (Sat 20th Aug 2022 5:35pm)
  • New Life MMA in Maryhill are great, mma, bjj, Thai, boxing and wrestling classes. They may have a waiting list but don’t think it will be too long atm by Outrageous_Sugar9911 (Fri 26th Aug 2022 9:30pm)
  • Have found most hospitality jobs from walking around handing in cvs. Usually a face to face introduction will put you ahead of the online apps. Just be nice friendly and honest and you should be all good in some places. by Outrageous_Sugar9911 (Mon 12th Sep 2022 12:21pm)
  • If you’re a man, a friend of my brother’s runs a charity called Brothers In Arms. I think they meet in pubs/ cafes across the city centre/ west end weekly for casual chat about mental health/ whatever else. Haven’t been myself yet but have heard great things and see a lot of guys walking around sporting their T-shirts. by Outrageous_Sugar9911 (Sat 17th Sep 2022 9:18am)
  • Also got a huge cover up shoulder piece from Tubbi, highly recommend! by Outrageous_Sugar9911 (Sat 24th Sep 2022 9:15am)
  • I think contacting 101 first and Deliveroo second is your best bet. There is absolutely no reason he should be trying to open your door other than for something nefarious. I’m sure you and family are in no danger now he’s been and gone but you could be saving someone going through something nasty further down the line! Edit: I guess one possible reason is if as you were taking a while to answer he thought he might be knocking on some sort of small close door some house/flats have and tried to see if there was a door after the door. Still worth a call to 101 imo. by Outrageous_Sugar9911 (Sat 15th Oct 2022 7:21pm)

  • New Life MMA in Maryhill if you’re close by. They do kickboxing, Thai, mma and have women specific classes coached by female fighters. Would recommend lovely bunch by Outrageous_Sugar9911 (Mon 19th Dec 2022 6:43am)
  • I’m sorry but there is no way LGBT folks in the 90s faced less discrimination than folk today. Your perception of discrimination is just totally different. What a patronising take. by Outrageous_Sugar9911 (Fri 17th Feb 2023 5:31am)
  • Tired of fighting or finished fighting? Are there any other legal battles the gay community are yet to conquer in the UK? Most gay folk, especially those 30 years or older, are now content that they are equal citizens in all respects to their straight counterparts. I think the general feeling is that most LGBT activism these days is simply lip service. If LGBT activists truly prioritised the problems facing their community they will they would be fighting for rights in Africa and the Middle East. I think this creates a bad taste in a lot of older folk in the community’s mouths. by Outrageous_Sugar9911 (Fri 17th Feb 2023 12:02pm)
  • Gay rights and trans rights are totally separate issues and part of the problem is lumping them in together like they are linked in terms of policy goals. It is arrogant to think that because someone is ‘just gay’ they should be shunned for not being activists in a movement that has virtually nothing to do with them. Anyone supporting trans rights is great, but the expectation of that based on their sexuality annoying and silly. by Outrageous_Sugar9911 (Sat 18th Feb 2023 1:58pm)
  • I had a shift for these guys (if it’s the same ones outside St Enoch’s a few years ago.) They are basically selling 20 quid vouchers for a lady’s haircut in the salon that the boss of the sales team also owns. At its face 20 quid for a haircut sounds like a really good deal, then they basically hit you with a photo shoot and makeup and pressure you into buying professional quality photos for your social media after. When interviewed the boss gave me all the chat about in 12 months you’ll have your own team and office and be wearing expensive suits etc, I of course ate it up as a skint 19 year old at the time. At the start of the 8 hour shift in ‘the office’ they all chant and sing like crazy fucks to amp them self up. Was like a council version of the Wolf of Wall Street, I left my vouchers in the salon door and went for a pint after about an hour of the first shift. by Outrageous_Sugar9911 (Fri 24th Feb 2023 5:30pm)
  • Yeah I remember going into the reception for my interview and the lady told me something like ‘he’ll be right out, he’s on a call with his partners in the States.’ I am almost certain now that she was instructed say that to every interviewee that week to make him sound big time lol by Outrageous_Sugar9911 (Fri 24th Feb 2023 9:32pm)
  • They tend to produce more well rounded children in general., learning bilingually is so good for a kid’s brain even if they are learning an old language like Gaelic, and doesn’t hinder their English at all. Not many downsides to sending your kids to a Gaelic school. by Outrageous_Sugar9911 (Tue 7th Mar 2023 11:45am)

  • The abandoned ruchill golf course beside our house is amazing. Miles of hills and grass and rarely if ever see another dog there, especially if you go on the afternoon of a week day. If we do see one they are usually so far away we always managed to wrangle our nutnob on his leash before he bolts after them. by Outrageous_Sugar9911 (Mon 24th Apr 2023 8:53pm)
