That sounds like a good way to ship goods bought on DNMs. Vendor gets some people to get amazon warehouse work, have them steal packaging (or buys them from someone who did that), use it to send drugs. • There's no real need for a museum dedicated to slavery, anyway, realistically the folk who were trading the slaves were of the same ilk who were fucking the locals here into slums and highlanders on to boats to go build their colonies, if anything they should do a museum of economic disparity and abuse of power in general and show the way the elite screw the majority and not just focus in on slavery. by Probecard (Thu 27th Feb 2020 5:28am)

  • How did I come across as cunty? I get that the first edit might have been worded less like a dick but what I've said is in no way wrong and the original comment wasn't cunty. by Probecard (Sun 26th Apr 2020 4:03pm)
  • The down votes started before the edits, that's was why I was confused. by Probecard (Sun 26th Apr 2020 4:15pm)
  • That's cool. If I had worded the edit in a less dickish way would that have been less cunty or is trying to give people more information to make a more informed choice seen as cunty? Thanks for engaging, I'm trying to be better. by Probecard (Sun 26th Apr 2020 4:26pm)
  • I elaborated because i thought I hadn't explained myself well, a perfectly reasonable thing to do, it's also perfectly reasonable to ask why someone disagrees with you and if they're reason for disagreeing with you dosen't make sense it's perfectly reasonable to explaining this. we already went over the vegan bit and the wording things a bit cuntily. "Who fucking asked you?", it's an open forum mate by posting here you are inviting responses. Anyway, you're coming across as a bit of a cunt yourself so I'll look elsewhere for my tips and help. by Probecard (Sun 26th Apr 2020 4:58pm)
  • It's not that I didn't like the reply it's just a few of your points were not great so I just took what is worth taking from it. Why do you get huffy about other people being cunty but dismiss it when it's yourself, that seems like a fairly poor trait in a person. by Probecard (Sun 26th Apr 2020 5:17pm)
  • Fair enough, I was wrong in what I said in the second half of that comment, I did ask you and you didn't just come out huffing. It was just a bit annoying that people were down voting a perfectly reasonable response, people shouldn't have been down voting me but I should have just added the extra info and left it at that. by Probecard (Sun 26th Apr 2020 6:16pm)

  • Skating down the Clyde tunnel (pedestrian tunnels) is good fun. by Probecard (Fri 15th May 2020 6:03pm)
  • Can you actually think of any good reason an adult shouldn't skate other than other people thinking "Look at that person having fun, what a fanny.". The whole midlife crisis type clichés shaming people into not doing stuff they find fun is kind of horrible. Like I've been wanting to get a motorbike since I was a teenager but due to several reason, mainly revolving about me being a bit of an idiot, meant I couldn't afford one, now I've sorted my shit out a bit I've started lessons, half the time I mention this to anyone I get people trying to shame me with the midlife crisis thing, like "Fuck you, I just want some fun that doesn't involve drugs or sitting in front of a screen". by Probecard (Fri 15th May 2020 6:15pm)

  • Cheers. For my first bike I'm ideally looking for something that would be good for commuting and maybe a little offroading/touring so I can just head off up north camping. I'm not sure about a sports bike yet, seems like fun but a bit scary atm tbh. by Probecard (Mon 18th May 2020 7:38am)
  • Nice the three bikes I've mainly been looking at are on that list the MT-07, tenere and v strom. I guess i might get a better idea of what I want after I've ridden a 125 about for a bit. by Probecard (Mon 18th May 2020 1:06pm)

People often complain of the effects of opening large shopping centres("demise of the highstreet" etc) I was just wondering what the effects of closing one would be, they obviously extend beyond job losses. What's your problem with having a discussion on this? by Probecard (Fri 26th Jun 2020 6:07pm)

  • He is being a dick. I went to see a doctor about it when I was in my twenties, got told to give it a few years and ask again, now in my thirties, still being told I have to wait. I have been avoiding relationships and sex all my life as I don't want to risk having kids and would quite like this procedure done while I'm still kind of young and not waste even more of my life, but no this dick knows better. Also, just because your tying to do something nice dosent mean you're not a dick, I often do nice, helpful things for people. by Probecard (Fri 3rd Jul 2020 2:17pm)
  • When I have been in relationships avoiding sex has been a major issue, apart from just being pressured(at one point all my tshirts necks ended up fucked from my gf not letting me go when she was horny and I was trying to avoid advances) which sucks for me and partners seem to get paranoid that they aren't "sexy" or attractive or worry that it's just them I don't want to have kids with them in particular which dosent seem like much fun for them and gets super tiring and stressful trying to explain myself. Stuff like condoms and relying on my partner to take birth control pills(which kind of seems like it can be pretty for them) is only really safer sex, plenty of people end up pregnant while using these methods and I really don't want kids. by Probecard (Fri 3rd Jul 2020 2:47pm)
  • Pain in the arse isn't it. > Bag up and fire in man, come on. Still too much of a risk for me, people still get pregnant. by Probecard (Fri 3rd Jul 2020 3:03pm)
  • I don't really see how someone really not wanting kids is a good reason to not perform a vasectomy. Yeah it was quite difficult trying to explain to her what she was doing, had to deal with that for far too long. People often seem to think I'm just being quite shy and was just saying no or avoiding them because I was nervous and seem to think they are doing me a favour in not taking "no" for an answer. Thankfully not such an issue now but sucked hard when I was a teenager in early twenties. by Probecard (Fri 3rd Jul 2020 3:14pm)

  • I kind of get what you're saying but the results are quite different, getting run over and killed would be shit but accidently producing a kid I don't want is a different kind of terrible. by Probecard (Fri 3rd Jul 2020 5:41pm)
  • Infections are a concern but much less of a concern to me than unwanted pregnancy. by Probecard (Fri 3rd Jul 2020 6:17pm)
  • What makes you think it's irrational? I'd accept uncommon but it seems perfectly rational, I don't want to be a father so I'm worried about impregnating someone seems fairly rational. by Probecard (Fri 3rd Jul 2020 6:32pm)
  • > There is a distinction to be made in getting the procedure to prevent having kids and getting it to handle the fear of having thing. The fear of having kids comes from really not wanting kids though, it's not like want kids but I'm worried about raising them or something, so they're more joined than distinct. Do you have a link to those stats? by Probecard (Fri 3rd Jul 2020 7:24pm)
  • Yeah, if that was the reason I wouldn't have a problem. When did I say that I was asking for it just now? by Probecard (Sat 4th Jul 2020 12:44pm)
  • > Considering you were asking now it is only natural to assume you have spoken to him sometime in lockdown about it. Seems more sensible to check or acknowledge you don't know really rather than just jump down someone's throat, but that's just me. That's kind of worrying behaviour if you are actually a paratrooper. > He will have seen people change their mind and that operation isn't available on the NHS and also he will know that the funds in the NHS are far better spent than on a vasectomy He will have seen many more who regret having kids and will know a vasectomy would be likely to save the NHS money. by Probecard (Sat 4th Jul 2020 1:23pm)
  • I didn't jump down your throat You did but nm. > you came on here insulting a medical professional because he wouldn't give you what you want. • If you do go through the councils homleness department, make sure you mention anything background/mental health. Probably don't make stuff up but try not to hide anything. Realistically if you're an adult male it's you'll probably get papped in a junkie hostel but it's worth a try. The difference between housing for vulnerable people and those the council didn't consider vulnerable was like night and day. I spent three days in a shelter for vulnerable people until they found me a place in a hostel like the belgrove. The first place was like awesome student halls, big bedsit room, TV on the wall, ensuite, nice and clean and support staff on hand. The second place was a tiny wee room old mattress with all the kind of stains you'd expect in a bed frequented by junkies, disgusting carpet, only a kettle to prepare food, a shared bathroom on each floor and no support and basically no contact with the council. If you do end up in a junkie hostel try and remember that you're worth something and that it's only temporary. by Probecard (Sun 16th Aug 2020 4:00pm)

I can't exactly remember what the deal was but I needed to get home had no money, scotrail took my details got me on a train and went me a bill for the ticket. They might not do it anymore but this was only a few years ago. You might have to find the right member of staff and maybe look like the kind of person someone might want to help but it saved my ass. by Probecard (Mon 28th Sep 2020 10:44am)

  • It took me less than a week to find a couple of new jobs(one in electronics, one in IT) it usually takes me ages. The recruitment people seemed kind of desperate to get people. I'm not sure if that's because there's actually a shortage of qualified people or they've just got sick of dealing with a deluge of cvs of bar staff, waiters and what not so just ended up picking out the first cv with slightly relevant experience. by Probecard (Thu 5th Nov 2020 10:55am)
  • > There was so much hate given to Time Out (from Glaswegians) that they posted another article basically apologising for putting Dennistoun in that list. Just think about that for a second, a global publication says they really like an area in Glasgow, and then they have to rescind it due to barrages of utter vitriol from people in Glasgow. To me that suggests the publication got things wrong. You think we should take one journos word for at rather than the word of residents. That's just daft. by Probecard (Mon 23rd Nov 2020 6:08am)
  • > Certainly not Dennistoun, which has now been put back years You're being a bit overly dramatic thered. The publication got it wrong. > affordable areas that still have a lot for people to do. There's bugger all to do in dennistoun. It's just a few shit bars, some cafes and a bunch of pawn shops, charity shop, and bookies. by Probecard (Mon 23rd Nov 2020 11:02am)
  • > In a local area a few bars and cafes is pretty much all that’s needed to get people wanting to live there, so it’s not bigger all It is bugger all to do. > No need to worry about that now though as there’s no chance they’ll ever cover Glasgow again. Again your being a bit over dramatic there. > No point in arguing with you further as by making the blanket statement that everywhere in Dennistoun is shit you’ve marked out your attitude. Sadly it’s people like you Where did I make that statement? If you're just going to invent my dialouge yourself there's not much point talking to you. by Probecard (Mon 23rd Nov 2020 11:21am)
  • Some of your points make sense but I'd argue your points about anything to do with cars are mooted by the ridiculous parkingwhich building are you talking about when you say those buildings. Being able to get to the merchant city in 15 minutes isn't much of a boon but fairly the city centre is technically walkable from Dennistoun but most people are too lazy for that. Side thing, I don't really get why you'd go to the fort rather than the city centre, is there less junkies there? by Probecard (Mon 23rd Nov 2020 4:50pm)
  • > As a cyclist, I struggle to blame anyone riding on the pavement, the roads can be dangerous and I’ve had more than a few close calls with cars who don’t seem to think you belong on the road and easily put you in danger because of it You almost have a point about the non twat cyclists but even then they're not supposed to be on the pavement and are choosing to pass the danger on to me, it's funny that you seem a bit annoyed by drivers lack of care but are fine with cyclists doing essentially the same thing in a space they are specifically not supposed to be. Then there's the arsehole bikers(and now escooter wanks) who just race about like a back in day version of boy racers and then the aresholes who cut about at 6 in the morning with no lights then act the dick when they nearly ride into you. As a group cyclists are no better than drivers and just as selfcentered(which isn't surprising as they are both quite large groupings of humans and humans be like that). by Probecard (Tue 1st Dec 2020 6:14am)
  • > The only avenue that we have had to vent our frustrations is through online channels and those within the club are not taking them seriously. All the things you could be spending your time on and you're whining about the outcome of a game(or games), how seriously do you expect to be taken? by Probecard (Tue 1st Dec 2020 7:05am)
  • I'm not talking pish. > They're not passing the danger on to you as it's equally dangerous for the cyclist to hit a pedestrian. Yes they are, they're not supposed to be in the pavement but they deem being in the road to dangerous so they are, illegally, removing themselves from that and instead risking running into pedestrians. Cyclists on pavements and a risk that wouldn't otherwise be there. You cannot argue otherwise. I wasn't comparing a cyclist hitting a pedestrian to a car/driver hitting one I was more on about the selfish, fuck-you-get-out-of-my-way mentality in risking other people in order to save a bit of time, it goes without saying thag getting hit by a car is more dangerous than getting hit by a cyclist. by Probecard (Tue 1st Dec 2020 9:10am)

  • > You can buy as many houses as you want, but if someone wants to actually live there, you need to prove that you do, else they get to buy it off you for ~~the market value~~ a reasonable and affordable price. Ftfy. Edit: though i guess the market would sort itself out some. by Probecard (Tue 30th Mar 2021 6:22pm)
  • Obviously not an excuse for it being stolen but people shouldn't be leaving their bikes in the close it's a bit inconsiderate. by Probecard (Mon 26th Apr 2021 8:08am)
  • Tbf that's likely because they prefer that inconvenience to the possibility of dealing you getting all huffy and being an arsehole because they said "No". by Probecard (Thu 29th Apr 2021 5:56am)
  • You're on about me making assumptions then go and make up all that. I'm not right in every situation but I'm right in this one. by Probecard (Thu 29th Apr 2021 6:13pm)
  • I said I'm probably right there about your neighbours. I think it is quite possible you're overlooking your neighbours reluctance to say "no". Whether or not leaving your bike in the close is wanky and inconsiderate has nothing to do with your neighbours responses even if they all meant yes you're still inconveniencing them because you can't be bothered figuring/making out a reasonable place to put the bike. by Probecard (Fri 30th Apr 2021 7:26am)
  • 1 the point is to segregate traffic not what you came out with. 2 that's just daft it's super easy to switch between the two. 5 is just a straight up lie. by Probecard (Sat 1st May 2021 5:26am)

  • DELETED There was no way they would get enough evidence to decide who it was, it would have been a pointless exercise. If there was a bunch of witnesses who could say who threw the bottles and I had contact details for them then fair enough but as I was cycling by and trying to avoid getting hurt I didn't have time for evidence gathering. by Probecard (Wed 2nd Jun 2021 8:56pm)

It's not going to help and unfortunately it probably is going to take or them actually hurting someone before something happens.
