  • Public transport doubles my journey time as well as my cost to work, Id actually be almost better cycling than taking the train. by Zumodoki (Sat 19th Jan 2019 8:22pm)

  • Genuine reason for being late have gotten out of hand this week, Yesterday someone hit the side of my car so that caused unnecessary delays. Last night a set of flats across my street went on fire and I ran in to a fucking burning building thinking I'm Spiderman. News flash I am not, Spent my early hours at A&E for smoke inhalation. Good intentions stupid actions. by Zumodoki (Wed 15th May 2019 9:44am)
  • Easyspace are shit domain squatters, Looked a few .Scot domains and most of them are owned by these arseholes. by Zumodoki (Thu 13th Jun 2019 6:18pm)

  • Done with spray cans, No stencil, You do a rough outline, fill with the various colors for that area, then redo the lines in black for a crisp clean image. You can get many different nozzles for the cans to give a different spray pattern so to speak. by Zumodoki (Sun 22nd Sep 2019 8:17pm)

  • It's been a while since I've been that way, Where's the cycle path in tradeston your talking about? by Zumodoki (Sun 29th Dec 2019 6:31pm)
  • > t and on into Pollokshields. Since this wee spur stops a little bit east of the Quay though, I dunno what it's meant to accomplish. Ah okay I used it all summer, It was built after the closed the path behind the flats. Cycling along the PR, Joined the bi-directional path, Where it converts to shared walkway, over the bridge and into town for work. by Zumodoki (Mon 30th Dec 2019 10:36pm)
  • You can see where the taxi driver bagged his head on the windscreen, Explains the pool of blood. by Zumodoki (Fri 24th Jan 2020 7:48pm)
  • This! Switched from Scottish power to Bulb in an all electric flat, I'm £200 a month. Down to around £155 with bulb. by Zumodoki (Tue 11th Feb 2020 8:30pm)
  • Sadly for me it's been a fight with Scottish power for over a year due to some stupid shit on there end, Glad it all sorted now by Zumodoki (Wed 12th Feb 2020 8:59am)
  • Spent many years in the ones in mosspark and then in carntyne for a number of years. Good space, If they have rough casting done then they are well insulated, In terms on noise most of the noise that traveled from my neighbours were on the cavity walls with windows. If the place needs some renovation I'd suggest redoing the plasterboard on those walls with 15mm soundblock gyproc. I ended up with a neighbour who didn't own anything nevermind a gardening tool, So I had to tend to my own garden, and the drying green, Minor annoyance. by Zumodoki (Fri 21st Feb 2020 11:56pm)
  • Give me a tin of white and a tin of black, Can sort all apart from the dude to the right. by Zumodoki (Sun 23rd Feb 2020 8:13am)
  • I've taken this afternoon off because it's so dead! by Zumodoki (Wed 26th Feb 2020 9:39am)
  • Firstly, what's the issue with the service button? Works at the wrong time? Let's everyone in? Doesn't work at all? All easily sorted. The last video entry system I looked at for a flat was over £100 per handset for each flat, not including the door panel, or labour which was shot down due to costs In terms of things not currently functioning, Things may be easy enough to repair. You could replace all the handsets with something like the Bell 801 to make things consistent. by Zumodoki (Thu 27th Feb 2020 7:48am)
  • Your cheapest option is replace all the handsets. If the entry system works for yourself then it likely failed handsets or damaged cable. by Zumodoki (Thu 27th Feb 2020 3:16pm)
  • A new weather seal on that door might reduce the amount of water coming in. by Zumodoki (Tue 10th Mar 2020 7:40pm)
  • I've had 12 cans of chopped tomatoes and 12 boxes of pasta rolling about the boot for months. Time to take advantage. by Zumodoki (Sat 14th Mar 2020 11:01pm)
  • Sounds like you landlords the GHA. by Zumodoki (Wed 25th Mar 2020 11:34pm)
  • It's an interesting project you've got on your hands. by Zumodoki (Thu 16th Apr 2020 7:19pm)
  • I've been in two properties owned by the GHA. Walls started to crumble in the first and was basically told it was my problem to sort. Second GHA property had a total renovation before I moved in there only requirement was when I left it had to be in a similar condition or better when I left. I don't think the housing will help you with this, However I also don't think your crazy for doing it either, I've been in a private let for the last two years, When I moved in I was told that landlord will do nothing unless legally required. The bathroom was old and nasty so I ripped it out and replaced everything and put up wet wall panels to make it more modern, Now I've moved out, I'm not going to see any of that investment returned to me however it made living in that flat for 2 years easier on the eye for sure, I can only imaging in a studio flat, Function has to be a priority but so does astectics if your going to be there for any length of time, by Zumodoki (Thu 16th Apr 2020 8:51pm)
  • Did you get the job? by Zumodoki (Sat 18th Apr 2020 12:49pm)
  • Started buying a house before lockdown, That has now completed and I've mostly moved, but I cannot get any internet setup untill the lockdown ends. Could be worse. by Zumodoki (Sun 19th Apr 2020 9:25am)
  • Sounds like they have seen the people in the news noticed for their singing in the street, and want a taste, Shite if they cannae sing however. by Zumodoki (Sun 19th Apr 2020 2:14pm)
  • It's a virgin covered area, and there's a old virgin point outside, None of it runs inside however, Might need to extend it and just get s home install and get virgin to sort it once we are off lockdown. by Zumodoki (Sun 19th Apr 2020 2:18pm)
  • With 3 at the moment, Get around 20-30Mb on 4G during the day, At nighttime it grinds to a halt however. 3 Won't do the home broadband at this address for some reason. Maybe the shite nighttime network. by Zumodoki (Sun 19th Apr 2020 2:17pm)
  • Ordered Virgin media yesterday evening, Installer will be out Friday morning, Which is perfect as apparently this week I've used 80GB of my 100GB allowance on my phone. by Zumodoki (Wed 22nd Apr 2020 7:35am)

  • Used Bilsland cycles for many years, If the bike was beyond ridable I was able to hope a train to get it there. I know they were closed this week to finish building renovation, Should be open tomorrow. Failing that, Now's a good time to learn to do it yourself? by Zumodoki (Wed 24th Jun 2020 6:38pm)
  • Nice big metal gate on the lane? by Zumodoki (Thu 16th Jul 2020 4:03pm)
  • It's funny, I,ve ran the occasional red light on the bike over they years, Some I've just missed, Some I've done because it's 2AM and there's no one on the road, Had a few fines for it too, But usually i've went early so I don't have some arse trying to run me over to get away from the lights. What's the big rush to sit at the next set of lights? by Zumodoki (Thu 16th Jul 2020 5:59pm)
  • Guess it depends on where the pallets come from, My old place we sent the pallets back and were credits £4 a pallet for the next lot of shite we bought, Cheaper for them get them back than manufacturer new ones. by Zumodoki (Thu 16th Jul 2020 8:56pm)

  • My brother was going today about 5G Towers causing cancer. Of course he is also currently a resident in a mental hospital. That's all I need. by Zumodoki (Fri 18th Sep 2020 11:47pm)
  • Replaced my double sockets with smart sockets, Few words said to smart speaker or phone. Brings on the TV, Lamps set to come on at sunset (and because it's smart that time adjust with the seasons) I say I'm leaving and everything's turned off and the thermostat turned down. Love it by Zumodoki (Mon 21st Sep 2020 10:05am)
  • Size wise it looks like a 5amp round pin socket, There are versions with safety features like out standard sockets that have the shutters in th socket to avoid people put things in them and a switch. Your biggest issue replacing the faceplate is the screws are vertical aligned as the new ones have horizontal alignment. So it would be sideways. Nothing other than a visual annoyance. by Zumodoki (Mon 21st Sep 2020 10:21am)
  • It's been a while but it a controlled entry system at both ends, Wouldn't let me in one night, so went the long way round. by Zumodoki (Mon 21st Sep 2020 2:02pm)

  • Some of the restaurants with there own drivers who take orders via just eat, Can use the driverapp. It tell your the address the order and some notes, Allows you to go straight to GPS instead of filling it in. When you take the order and click on its way, the customer is notified, when you drop off you got delivered the customer is notified, as is the restaurant, and they can see an you on a map on there terminal to allow them to make the next order fresh so it is not sitting. Before they used that system we had the justest slip and they would highlight the driver notes. If there were any. by Zumodoki (Sat 7th Nov 2020 2:08pm)
  • Looks like good quality timber. by Zumodoki (Sat 7th Nov 2020 2:13pm)
  • They only had there only drivers, We just used the slips for long enough but they started asking us to use the driverapp it seems its purpose was for customer updates and for the restaurant to have an idea where the driver is. The app hasn't been updated in over a year, and I've stopped doing good delivery. People who "work for just eat" use the courier app. by Zumodoki (Sat 7th Nov 2020 4:41pm)

  • However, In Scotland the Land Reform (Scotland) Act 2003 gives everybody the right to non motorised access to most land in Scotland, including roads, tracks, and paths. Is does not repeal the 1984 law but you'd need to run into a real cunt of a cop to enforce that section. by Zumodoki (Fri 27th Nov 2020 8:20pm)
  • What wired part did you move to? I moved to carntyne a number of years ago and one of the main requirements was fibre. Had 70+ MB for 3 years before I left. by Zumodoki (Mon 30th Nov 2020 1:16am)

  • Is it my post? I paid royal mail something like £70 for 12 months of forwarding any mail that showed up to my old address to my new address, qand they haven't forwarded a thing. Current Tennant is passing it to my old landlord and they are letting me know they have a pile of post for me. If you have a landlord talk to them about contacting the previous tennet, Failing that bin it. Finance companies and things are required to sent letters by post to tell the customer what's going on with there account, Even if they no longer live.thiere, they have to post it to the last contactable address the hold for them. by Zumodoki (Sat 5th Dec 2020 11:17am)
  • Yea ended up picking some 99.7% from there. Worked out a little bit cheaper than what I could get next-day from Amazon too. by Zumodoki (Mon 7th Dec 2020 4:09pm)

I was working 70 hours a week across 3 jobs to keep the bills paid and it's all gone wrong Job 1 has cut all overtime so I'm now £450 worse off from that wage Got a bill from British gas for £300 for a month of gas somehow. So I sold my car for a whopping £650 to cover it. Job 2 was driving for dominos, No car = no job. That's cost me £200/300 a month My 3rd job, companies closed down over Christmas and isn't opening back up that's another £240 a month. Got a shop delivered after Christmas, 4 wee half empty basket from Asda over £150, it's almost of money for not alot of anything these days by Zumodoki (Wed 4th Jan 2023 1:21am)

  • I've got a house now, But if I hadn't got married I'd have had one easily 3 years earlier. The wedding was a lot of stress and an absolute headache and quite frankly id have rather done the registry office and used the 12k on a house deposit, instead of 5k 3 years later. by Zumodoki (Wed 5th Jul 2023 8:02pm)

  • Good luck! A mate of mine is one of 8 flats in a tenement , Constant repairs being carried out and a lack of payment, Then asking to be paid up front, Got to the point where the factors sent a letter saying they are withdrawing from factoring the flats any longer, Which seems like a win in my book, Money for nothinf usually. Sister in laws flats the same, Door entry is constantly breaking, They remove the unit and takes months to be repaired or replaced. A few times they have billed everyone for the repair being completed when they haven't even started. Chancers by Zumodoki (Wed 19th Jul 2023 7:08pm)
