  • Thanks for the info! I'll keep that in mind. by cryosabre (Sun 24th May 2020 10:43pm)
  • Doing a brilliant job here, OP. Thanks for taking the time to collate all this! Hope your furlough ends soon. by cryosabre (Fri 26th Jun 2020 9:38pm)
  • SWG3 is on point! Was there today and it's run like Clockwork. You have to prebook, but they've a ton of tables all distanced from each other so you shouldn't have any problem getting one for the 2.5 hours alloted time you're given. There's a bouncer on the front door to explain their rules and they have thermal imaging on your way in to check your temperature and you get led to your table. All the food and drinks order's are done via the app aswell which gets delivered straight to you! by cryosabre (Sat 11th Jul 2020 6:21pm)
  • Unfortunately you'll probably have to check on Gumtree/ebay as the other guy said. Happened to my last roommate, though instead of trying to cut through the big expensive bike lock he had, they literally cut out the bannister it was attached to. We're pretty sure it was some trades people that had been doing work in our close a few days before, they'd looked a bit dodgy and had been seen by a neighbour coming back in after the work had been done for some reason. Hope you get lucky and find it my dude! by cryosabre (Wed 22nd Jul 2020 12:00pm)
  • I'll give it a look, ta! by cryosabre (Wed 25th Nov 2020 3:43pm)
  • I used to work in another bar owned by the guy that owns Blue Dog. He's a total walloper who doesn't give a twat about his staff as long as he's making money. This really sucks but I can't say I'm honestly that surprised. He's apparently pushing to open a new bar soon aswell. by cryosabre (Thu 24th Dec 2020 11:05pm)
  • Firstly, happy 40th to your girlfriend when it comes! Secondly, I would give the Home by Nico thing a miss to be honest. Me and my partner have had it twice and its been kind of disappointing both times. (Though going to one of the restaurants when they're open again is an absolute must!) Either The Red Onion or Le Petit Cochon both do AMAZING takeaway food...would highly recommend either of those! by cryosabre (Sun 17th Jan 2021 10:47pm)
  • Don't suffer myself from hay fever thankfully but my girlfriend would wholeheartedly agree with you! It's getting to the point where her antihistamines aren't even that effective. by cryosabre (Tue 29th Jun 2021 6:27pm)
  • That's so awful, I'd run into Jess a couple of times in Queen's Park with my dog and they always had a good play. She was a lovely dog. by cryosabre (Tue 3rd Aug 2021 9:46am)
  • Oh aye they're boggin'. We don't even go to Queens Park any more because there's so much litter about. Maxwell Park's much better these days! by cryosabre (Tue 3rd Aug 2021 10:33am)
  • What the other guy said! I'm just about to turn 30 and I started playing in my first game 8 months ago. Have since finished that campaign, started another one and began running my own all with the same group...It's a ton of fun! It was a bit awkward and cringey at the start trying to figure out rules and role-playing your characters but the longer and more comfortable you get with your group the easier it is. Weve actually started to record and upload our sessions on YouTube just so we can look back and laugh haha. I would wholeheartedly recommend people at least give it a go, it's definitely my new favorite hobby. by cryosabre (Sun 22nd Aug 2021 5:59pm)
  • It really depends on the game/group your with! I've played with the same people in all the games as we all started at the same time after meeting on Roll20.com (a great website for online D&D and other TTRPGs) and we tend to take a bit longer on most things due to indecisiveness and checking out everything we possibly can haha. The first game I joined was a full campaign (Lost mines of Phandelver....brilliant for first time players!) and that ran for a couple of months during one 3-4 hour session every Wednesday evening. Then we had a couple of weeks before we started the campaign I'm currently running which I've been running for the last 4 months every Wednesday. The other game I'm a part of is a homebrew campaign (homebrew = not official and made up by the person that's running the adventure) and started at basically the same time as the first one and it's nowhere near finished yet. You can also do a "One shot" which is generally a single session which usually lasts for 3-4 hours. Tl;dl; there's no set time it can take, and it mostly depends on how fast or slow your group moves! by cryosabre (Mon 23rd Aug 2021 12:31am)
  • Frankie's in Shawlands has just opened recently and it's me and my Fiancè's new favorite place by cryosabre (Thu 26th Aug 2021 6:20pm)
  • Its for "Doohdpati", a new dessert shop opening???? Its fucking mental. There's a dj box, models, stilt walkers and a load of ferraris. I've just walked past as a firework miss fired and exploded in front of the crowd...ridiculous by cryosabre (Fri 3rd Sep 2021 8:44pm)
  • No idea! But I'm assuming it must be owned by someone well known in the pakistani/Indian community as basically everyone there was Pakistani or Indian. Wildly annoying though as my dog was freaking out at the fireworks :/ by cryosabre (Fri 3rd Sep 2021 10:03pm)
  • Second this! Was there with my fiancée recently and we had a brilliant time! by cryosabre (Tue 5th Oct 2021 4:37pm)
  • Can confirm this will happen. Happened to my old roommate in shawlands...gallus of fuck by cryosabre (Tue 10th May 2022 12:57pm)
  • When was it you submitted the initial application? Was it recently? by cryosabre (Wed 18th May 2022 10:02am)
  • Used to be the similar when I worked in a restaurant in town. The owner made us pool the all the tips for the full day then divide them up per amount of hours you worked....with a cut going to the owner equal to whatever the manager on duty that day received, meaning if you were on a short shift you got less tips than the owner. I got sacked the day after challenging the owner on it for "not being a team player". by cryosabre (Sat 21st May 2022 3:24pm)
  • I love this! But its not exactly what I'm looking for unfortunately. by cryosabre (Thu 28th Jul 2022 1:44pm)
  • La Fiorentina in Kinning Park's always my partner and I's choice for Italian! Or Eusabi's if you want to spend a bit more for (in my opinion) the best Italian in Glasgow, its a bit "nicer" but still pretty casual in my experience. by cryosabre (Wed 10th Aug 2022 4:48pm)
  • Super late reply, but no, not really! Its really well priced and the food's super tasty as its a proper family run restaurant. If you do end up going, get the spaghetti pescatora! by cryosabre (Fri 12th Aug 2022 11:48am)
  • Was wanting to.buy a bottle of it as a present for my best man as he loves it...but I've only ever seen it sold in Barbados! Just incase anybodies seen in in any wee random places in Glasgow, I've tried all the bigger places. by cryosabre (Thu 18th Aug 2022 2:22pm)
  • Would agree to this, class wee pub! Also bonus as it's apparently the most haunted hotel in Britain. by cryosabre (Fri 7th Oct 2022 3:07pm)
  • Unless your parents house is a situation you really need to get out of, you should seriously consider staying there and putting the money you would be spending on rent ect into a savings account. The renting market's terrible at the moment and with your budget you're more than likely going to end up in a wildly overpriced studio apartment in a bad area or in a flatshare which is a total gamble on whether you get decent flatmates or not. Absolutely nothing wrong with staying with parents and giving them some money for digs etc if you want to feel a bit more independent and get into the routine of paying something everything month until you can afford somewhere you actually want to stay. by cryosabre (Mon 12th Dec 2022 2:27pm)
  • There is a cruise liner in Port Glasgow housing about 1000 refugees with whole families crammed into those tiny ship cabins. Assuming OP meant that one. I really hope you find someone to help OP. You're artwork is also very good, you should potentially look into opening yourself to commission work as a way of making some extra money. by cryosabre (Fri 10th Feb 2023 5:33pm)
