  • I beta tested the App for months. I linked my subway card to my account and top up the card with my via debit/credit card and use the phones NFC to get through the barriers. There was some teething issues, payment not going through barriers sometimes not opening but after the 2nd week it was all gravy. I used it for about 2/3 months then moved away and don't get the subway anymore. If the app is out of beta and open to the public, have you tried that? Saved queuing etc. Edit: was curious to see if the app still launched and it doesn't :( I had £2.20 left on it! https://imgur.com/a/tdOahNH by Ceejayx (Thu 1st Aug 2019 2:27pm)

  • I don't know why I've invested so much time in this but here's a few red flags Matthew Stewart/Matt Stewart has three seperate companies house profiles. Makes it harder to tie back companies to him in my book, that's a big red flag. No need for multiple profiles unless you're trying to cover tracks Atlas Outsourcing Limited - hardly made a penny according to companies house filings. This company is now THE HIVE COLLECTIVE LIMITED and dissolved last year. ZONAL COLLECTIVE LIMITED is run by friend and business partner Du'val Wallace-Clarke and was set up a month before The Hive Collective Dissolved YOUR LOCAL LOTTERY LTD is another pop up company run by Matt And then theres Omada Corp Limited which isn't even run by Matthew Stewart any more. He resigned as director and doesn't significant control in terms of shares. http://www.lifeasaceo.co.uk has a inspirational video of how he has run businesses with over £800,000. Which to the naive might sound exciting but if I have £800k turnover but £801k overheads. I'm a grand worse off, might as well shut up shop and start a new company and have another stab at it....oh wait. by Ceejayx (Thu 27th Feb 2020 7:06pm)
  • The sole director and majority shareholder is Rebecca Bell according to companies house. Had a look at her LinkedIn Profile and she is "Head of Brand & Business Development" so it looks like. Ps. It's absolutely worth a shot asking for a debit card charge back, although there is no legislation in place for protection, for £59 a reckon the bank will refund it and tell you the whole "if the claim falls through, we'll take it back" but it'll cost the bank more thank £59 to look into it all and I don't see the festival wrestling over £59 either if a financial institution is knocking on their door by Ceejayx (Tue 26th Oct 2021 9:55am)

  • I went private. It was expensive. However it moved quickly. I booked my appointment and had my consultation within 3 weeks. It involved completing 5 questionnaires (combination of multiple choice and free text) There was an extra questionnaire someone close to me could fill out and the results go straight to the Dr. The consultation lasted 2 hours and I received a report within a week confirming I meet the criteria for Adult ADHD/ADD and discussed treatment options. This is still very new to me as this has only happened in the last few weeks. I'm bypassing the NHS/GP and paying for the prescription on my own. The medication can range from £35-£80 a month. The consultation cost £750 Like I said, it was expensive. But I didn't need to go through the ringer with GP's and the NHS. by Ceejayx (Wed 30th Mar 2022 5:33pm)

  • I've had the police turn up to my door for loud music. It was a Thursday night so I don't blame my neighbours to be fair. They pitched up (no idea how long they took from point of call to arrival) I had the music off by time they arrived. They just asked me my basic personal details and whether I was playing music which I said yes and essentially they just said be courteous and polite to the neighbours and then left. That was it. I went downstairs the next morning and just gave the neighbours who I suspected to have called the police (they obviously didn't tell me who complained and I wouldn't have asked) my mobile number Anyways... I asked them to send me a text first of all or give me a call if they didn't feel confident to come to my door. Save the police time etc. I understand why they called the police rather than just coming to the first. My flatmate and I were in our late 20's both male. They were young students and both female, that can be intimatidatjng I reckon. by Ceejayx (Thu 12th May 2022 12:56am)

  • I looked into this recently. I was having a debate with my brother and I looked into the definitions. Cambridge dictionary https://dictionary.cambridge.org/dictionary/english/middle-class "a social group that consists of well-educated people, such as doctors, lawyers, and teachers, who have good jobs and are not poor, but are not very rich" Investopedia https://www.investopedia.com/terms/m/middle-class.asp "The word "middle" may be misleading in that it suggests that those in the middle class have earnings within the middle of the population's income distribution, which may not be the case. Middle class families tend to own their own home (although with a mortgage), own a car (although with a loan or lease), send their kids to college (although with student loans or scholarships), are saving for retirement, and have enough disposable savings to afford certain luxuries like dining out and vacations" The Investopedia definition had me laughing with the luxuries of "vacations" and "Dining out" seems a bit out of date. It's hard to define. My partner and I have a joint income of into the six figures, we go on holiday. Have a mortgage and finance cars. But we definitely don't feel middle class. But some would think so based on income/lifestyle. Neither of us are educated beyond some college HND's so well educated is ruled out in my opinion. by Ceejayx (Mon 23rd May 2022 8:59pm)

  • My gran had a humanist funeral. The guy conducting the service had good banter. He described how she had several daughters and then went off to round it with "even the dog was a bitch" to this day we don't know if our grandad put him up to it or he was just a funny guy. Anyways, can't help answer your question but it reminded me of that day, as difficult as it was. That one liner made it bearable by Ceejayx (Wed 31st Aug 2022 3:55pm)
