I chinned them about the mess and was told to 'fuck off, this is Glasgow mate, no Bearsden'. If there hadn't been 8 of them I might have decked the wee cunt. by themadguru (Mon 14th Jan 2019 3:55pm)

  • Visitor parking vouchers are 2 quid each and for a 24 hour stay you would require possibly at least three depending on arrival time. Books of 5 vouchers can be purchased from the council offices at John Street by the householder and they will need to provide necessary paperwork to prove they live at that address. Maximum of 8 books can be purchased at any one time. There is also a limit to how many can be bought in a year but I'm not sure what that number actually is. As already said, this does not permit you to park in spaces that are marked for residents only, just any other spaces. If you go with these watch out and make sure you complete them exactly as stated. Traffic wardens are bastards and if you have not scraped off the right parts they will give you a ticket. by themadguru (Fri 18th Jan 2019 11:32am)

If they are not normally SNP voters ask them to lend their vote to SNP just this once to send a clear message to Westminster that Scotland has had enough of the Tory/Labour bullshit. Just this once, next time go green! by themadguru (Tue 10th Dec 2019 7:35pm)
  • You can buy a pressure washer for about 100 quid and do it yourself cheaper than a company would charge you. Then you have the washer to do it again and it's like getting it done free. Even better if you have a son to do it for you and give him 20 quid. by themadguru (Wed 11th Dec 2019 12:43pm)

  • Why if we cost so much do the UK government want to hang on? We are a cash cow for Westminster; a place to shove nuclear weapons, test out risky policies (poll tax) and a place to generate wealth through oil, tourism, agriculture etc. . We are a country that is more than able to survive on our own and use our wealth of natural resources for good and create a fairer society. This is absolutely relevant and everybody should know this. It has been said for years that if we are such a burden why do they want to hang onto us. The bottom line is that Scotland is keeping the UK going and those in power know that they need us but perpetuate the myth that we are a bunch of scrounging bastards. Time to get out of this toxic union and let them sink while Scotland thrives. INDY NOW! by themadguru (Fri 13th Dec 2019 10:17am)

I'm down the stair banging on his door like I'm the fucking SAS and he doesn't even hear me ffs. Had to absolutely batter the door and he eventually answers looking the worse for wear through drink or whatever. • The town centre is getting much busier again now that the shops are opening up, etc. That brings more of the 'normal' people back into town and all the undesirables get outnumbered and start to fade into the background a bit. • I wrote to my MP about this issue in the city centre as well. After lockdown the city centre was empty and homeless people, drug addicts and asylum seekers were housed in City centre hotels with no advice to city centre residents. As a result it became a fairly unsafe feeling type of place due to begging, groups of unsavoury types , etc. I can't say the answer from the police was particularly enlightening but at least it had highlighted the issue to them. The more city centre residents that highlight this type of thing to them the better. We should be able to feel safe in and around the area where we live! by themadguru (Thu 30th Jul 2020 11:40pm)

Last time i brought it back upstairs and dumped it at their front door with a polite notice. Write to your factor about it and get everyone else in the building to do the same. They should then do something about it. Good luck. by themadguru (Mon 17th Aug 2020 12:53pm)
