If it did happen, there’s the potential of a tit for tat response. Say Putin nukes a US base in Turkey, Biden might nuke a couple of Russian ICBM silos first rather than a full barrage of 2,000 warheads and a hundred megadeaths. Ukraine is not a nuclear state, so theoretically by the Non Proliferation Treaty it can’t be nuked. • I’ve done the Kismot Killer (infamous, hospital inducing curry In Edinburgh) so I can handle spice. This comes from experience. The hottest wings I’ve ever had were at Brooklyn Cafe. I went along to a special hot wing eating competition. I came third, however was enough wings behind the winner than I knew I’d never do it. The pain was real. My fingers tingled for days. The spiciest curry I’ve had is actually a special at Bombay Blues. It’s more regularly a buffet restaurant but unused to go quite a lot with a friend and they’d make me a ridiculously hot one basically made from chilli power and fresh chillis. It gave me palpations and genuinely was not enjoyable. I’m sure you could ask for it if you want to try, describe the above and they should do it. The bucks bar / bird box challenge is easy from a spice perspective. I see Akbar’s does a spice challenge now, I think that would be easy as I’ve always asked them to make my curry as hot as possible and never really been challenged there. If you come across any super spicy foods let me know - the jungle curry mentioned above sounds great. by userunknowne (Mon 25th Apr 2022 10:31am)

It’s common estate agent practice in glasgow to put offers over around 10-15% lower than home report, and expect to get 15-20% more than the home report for a sale. 200 would be upper end for sure but not totally unrealistic. by userunknowne (Wed 15th Jun 2022 8:40pm)

As they were already booked in to take another job to the dump (or whever this stuff gets legally sent) I got a decent price, as they have to pay to dispose of it. Also - it’s not mega dangerous if you suppress the fibres, if you really soak the roof before that will help. And obviously masks / gloves etc. by userunknowne (Sun 19th Jun 2022 10:28pm)

  • So most of the posts here will be about rescue dogs, and whilst that’s great you have asked for a puppy from a reputable breeder so I will help you with what you’ve actually asked for. Firstly it will help if you decide what breed you want. Let’s assume golden retriever, as they are the best. Check the [kennel club website](https://www.thekennelclub.org.uk/search/find-a-puppy/) and triple check you can cope with a dog. If you’re completely happy, they have a search tool which I’ve linked to, that will show reputable breeders with litters coming up. These dogs will come with approved/clear bloodline so potentially may have fewer medical ailments than a gumtree puppy. They will usually have to have medical checks, such as eyes and hips for retrievers. Another place to look would be whether there are any local breed-specific organisations that may be able to help with their own breeder lists, such as golden retrievers Scotland. They also might help with re-homing dogs too, especially ex-service dogs that may not have made the grade. Hope this helps, and good luck. by userunknowne (Tue 19th Jul 2022 8:13am)
