  • I equally admire you "meh, fuck it I'll go enjoy the night" attitude. Had my phone bumped at a gig and instantly left to go sort it out. Fucked my night ha. Glad got it back though. by mrcatisgodone (Sun 20th Jan 2019 5:37am)

  • Both types of marches seem hellbent on keeping Glasgow steeped in 1970 Belfast politics. I don't like banning things simply that we don't like but fucking everyone elses day on something the general public don't support needs reconsidered. Ship them out on their big day to do their big fucking conga line in Strathy Park and they can toot and flute to their hearts content away from society. But I guess not being able to do a big GIRFUY to church or chapel infringes on their "culture" or some fucking pish. by mrcatisgodone (Tue 5th Mar 2019 10:47pm)
  • The argument the OO use is their celebrations relate to the anniversary of the Boyne and the following Reformation. Those things on their own don't relate to nosing up Catholics, however we all really know that's basically the whole reason for it. by mrcatisgodone (Wed 6th Mar 2019 3:39pm)
  • How do you do fellow kids? by mrcatisgodone (Thu 7th Mar 2019 9:20am)
  • Good luck with Renfrewshire Council and council tax. From my experience they are utterly fucking useless. by mrcatisgodone (Thu 14th Mar 2019 7:51am)
  • As someone who lived for five years in Paisley, the answer is no. It is area dependant in terms of how rough but I lived in five flats and each one had at least one fucking terrible neighbour ie domestic abuse, drunkenly attempting to enter your flat or living in squalor and stinking out the close. The town has been dying on its arse for an age in terms of retail (you know its fucked when even McDonalds are jumping ship) and it's got an awful lot of utter mentalists living in it. Upside is The Bull Inn is fucking brilliant and you get the occasional good gig. All in I'd look elsewhere. by mrcatisgodone (Mon 18th Mar 2019 6:18pm)
  • Yes and as stated I lived in several different flats in different areas. Sure living as far out as the hospital is fine but there's nothing near you bar the hospital. As soon as you walk into Paisley you walk into a dead town with a decent collection of nutters. It's fine if want to live in a very quiet suburb and drive into Glasgow all the time but if wanting good local businesses and things to do within walking distance you're best avoiding it by mrcatisgodone (Wed 20th Mar 2019 9:55pm)
  • That's some tap trolling. by mrcatisgodone (Sun 31st Mar 2019 7:42pm)
  • Yes. As close as ive had to a Berlin Kebab in Glasgow, which is mostly down to the different bread they use. However at £7 for a kebab it's pushing it. Can get the monstrous mixed middle eastern from Morellos for not much more. by mrcatisgodone (Fri 5th Apr 2019 7:17am)
  • Argyle St is fucking mental. If Google news store is in that street it's had a mad few years. Avoid. by mrcatisgodone (Sun 7th Apr 2019 4:53pm)
  • Worked at the festival last year and was a great little set up. They've be as well just scrapping the whole thing and trying again next year. by mrcatisgodone (Wed 17th Apr 2019 6:16am)
  • The drinking culture here is an issue but an overall public ban on outdoor drinking isn't maybe the answer. Kg generally police will not enforce rules heavily so its one of the few spots can go in Glasgow without being fined. Thus you end up with everyone descending on there and it turning into a more centralised chaos in short bursts. by mrcatisgodone (Sun 21st Apr 2019 6:42am)
  • Kg used to be fairly chill for a drink on the hill but it's definitely gotten worse in terms of absolute bams coming and ruining it for everyone. by mrcatisgodone (Sun 21st Apr 2019 6:40am)
  • Everyone one closed for "refurbishment" then vanished. Sad but such is. by mrcatisgodone (Mon 22nd Apr 2019 8:39pm)

  • An utter piss take of an article that's designed for the sweetie rustlers. I've spent my share working at afters events and attending them. Yes drugs are present but that's standard in the electronic music scene, and nightlife in general. The constant hysteria over drugs has changed nothing and the war on drugs continues to be an abject failure. Fuck this article and fuck the red tops. Parasites. by mrcatisgodone (Sun 23rd Jun 2019 5:44pm)
  • Considering it states one has a phd, I think it's fair to say they're not. by mrcatisgodone (Sun 23rd Jun 2019 10:01pm)

  • Lived in Paisley West for several years. Absolute hell. You have the rapey murder st that is Argyle St, you border onto Ferguslie Park so get all the nutters passing from there oh and the Copper Coin with its weekly late night Sunday have a scrap bingo. On upside, assuming its still there, Woodys Stonebaked Pizza is really good. by mrcatisgodone (Tue 9th Jul 2019 5:19pm)
  • There's MXP gym in Stirling which is very much legit for muay thai and I also believe mma. by mrcatisgodone (Thu 11th Jul 2019 8:57am)

  • Boxfit isn't a boxing gym. It's a muay thai gym. Doesn't offer boxing like Grip does. SK Boxing is most legit one in centre I believe. by mrcatisgodone (Tue 20th Aug 2019 10:46pm)
  • Yeah trained there for a year and also did nine months at the grip. Boxfit is the superior option for me for the price you pay which is similar for the both. However if wanting to try other disciplines then Grip is best for that. Boxfit keeps relatively low key at times but you only have to look at their fight team (Chris Shaw, Jordan Cumberton, Eddie Cheung, Michael Diamond plus others) to see its obviously a very prestigious gym. by mrcatisgodone (Wed 21st Aug 2019 10:20pm)
  • Yeah ie if want to try out bjj and wrestling as well as muay thai. Both cost around same but if just wanting to do muay thai with some added strength and conditioning then Boxfit is the better option. by mrcatisgodone (Wed 21st Aug 2019 10:42pm)
  • Fuck a protest in George Square. Bus everyone to London and time to bring Parliament to the fucking ground. Maybe they'll listen then. by mrcatisgodone (Thu 29th Aug 2019 12:31pm)

  • I miss the old Peter Drew boxhead street arts that were everywhere for a few years. Think one still up down lane where Stereo. Far better than this tag. by mrcatisgodone (Wed 9th Oct 2019 5:19pm)

  • Just for all those drivers out there, please please do what op did and buy a dashcam. Tons of these incidents end up 50/50 on basis of both parties give conflicting version of events and neither party having evidence to back up their "correct" side of the story. Source - claims handler for motor insurance company. by mrcatisgodone (Thu 24th Oct 2019 7:18am)
  • Car 100% Lorry is established in its lane and onus of responsibility is always 100% on the party changing lanes. Argument that lorry sped up wouldn't win in any court in the land. by mrcatisgodone (Thu 24th Oct 2019 8:42am)

  • He seemed to always make comments about his boyfriend. There's a video on YouTube somewhere of him on a bus being confronted about his attire and him saying he "has to look his best for my boyfriend". Dunno if actually gay or that was his shtick. by mrcatisgodone (Sat 7th Dec 2019 12:09pm)
  • As someone who enjoys both styles, I think there's an argument for Baked being as good but maybe even better than Paessano. Blessed to have both though. by mrcatisgodone (Wed 11th Dec 2019 9:58pm)
  • This would be what would make sense but it'll be sold to another shithawk bidder from overseas that'll install extra barriers on the seats of the fucking trains. by mrcatisgodone (Wed 18th Dec 2019 5:20pm)
  • Great idea but how they keeping it dry? Pishing it down. by mrcatisgodone (Mon 23rd Dec 2019 8:51am)
  • The sia licence is just a basic bit of training (at a cost of a few hundred) that lets you legally work security jobs. The actual standards required to pass the training and do the role are incredibly low. I had the misfortune of working for g4s for a short time at football games and events and 90% of those with badges were absolutely useless, lacking in social skills, logic and probably would be a liability in a dangerous situation. With the security jobs being fairly low paid and mostly pretty fucking miserable work it unfortunately attracts a large cast of people who wouldn't get hired in many other industries. by mrcatisgodone (Tue 24th Dec 2019 3:23pm)
  • I did that queue last year and had never felt more like a fucking yuppie. The weekly hour queue at Big Bear Bakery in Battlefield beats it now for middle class yuppie queuing. So many tote bags. by mrcatisgodone (Wed 25th Dec 2019 10:24am)
  • It's fine if go down a couple of hours after opening as queue is generally dead but most stuff is gone by then. . But queuing an hour at opening for a fucking brownie is no beuno. Deanston Bakery does just as nice breid anyway with no waiting. by mrcatisgodone (Wed 25th Dec 2019 5:54pm)
  • I can't get past their whole WOOOAHH ANARCHY YEAAAH marketing similar to Brewdogs shite. Shame as pizza tried was pretty good. by mrcatisgodone (Tue 31st Dec 2019 11:45am)

  • Ones in street piss me off but it is what it is. Just don't say anything and keep walking. Cunts knocking on your door boils my piss though. Can't escape the fuckers. I mean I just don't open the door but still a pain. by mrcatisgodone (Wed 15th Jan 2020 4:54pm)
  • As someone whose had both have to give Baked slight edge. Also alot more accessible as always a pain in the hoop getting a table at Errols. Praying for Baked Southside. All in the fact there's hot debate as to who does the best pizza in Glasgow just now means we're all winners. by mrcatisgodone (Thu 16th Jan 2020 10:27pm)
  • Casino is your only bet. This weekends will be utter hell as it'll be all the utter worst of the Celtic plastic paddy gang who suddenly become mma megabrains whenever McGregor fights. Better just getting a stream and watching in the gaff. by mrcatisgodone (Fri 17th Jan 2020 10:09pm)
  • Ah the typical "if yer no wan of us yer wan of them" attitude. Im a thistle fan actually and someone whose passionate about mma but better luck next time. by mrcatisgodone (Sat 18th Jan 2020 6:36am)
  • In terms of Mcgregor appealing to the casual market then yes, its not just the Celtic fans that do it. But in Glasgow in particular I notice it's certainly a larger amount with that added nonsense of just blindly supporting him by virtue of him being a successful Irishman. Understand not everyone is going to be watching every single MMA fight, that's fair and regardless the bigger fights definitely hold more intrigue for everyone. But just infuriates me that generally these folks are dismissive of alot of the sport but as soon as everyone's favourite unhinged whiskey salesman appears they're suddenly hardcore fans spouting absolute utter shite about something I'm pretty passionate about. by mrcatisgodone (Sat 18th Jan 2020 6:42am)
  • Folks travelling thousands of miles and spending a wedge for yoga retreats or to be Buddhists monks to reach zen. But sometimes all you need is a wrecked Glasweigan OAP who has seen it all just to be a bit friendly. by mrcatisgodone (Sat 18th Jan 2020 7:01am)
  • To me this is the worst form of capitalism gone rampant. Charging you to access your own money is scumbaggery of the highest order. If wasn't for people being drunk in Glasgow often I doubt these would get used. by mrcatisgodone (Sun 19th Jan 2020 7:26pm)
  • Buying products is different from accessing your earnings. It's not consuming a product where a market is available to select between different competitors for the same product. Money's value remains the same. I understand the point regarding costs associated with running such machines but to me this shouldn't be allowed. Either have it for free or don't run it. I personally don't know if those running the machines are profiting from these charges but considering the lack of consistency on the same machines in terms of pricing, sometimes on the same street, then it's a likelihood. By all means correct me if I'm wrong however. by mrcatisgodone (Sun 19th Jan 2020 9:25pm)
  • Day on the job 567. People converted? Still zero. by mrcatisgodone (Tue 21st Jan 2020 12:55pm)

  • It's basically a typical hotel bar but with a good view so it's extortionate and really plastic. Good for a couple on a nice day but that's it. by mrcatisgodone (Thu 13th Feb 2020 6:18pm)
  • I personally don't like the Academy. Looks nice but sound often meh and atmosphere hit and miss. For venues around that size it's the Barras or gtfo. Smaller I personally love Stereo although in summer and when sold out its roasting. Even smaller but always enjoy the basement of 13th Note. by mrcatisgodone (Thu 13th Feb 2020 9:33pm)
  • There's a disdain by the graff artists who towards pieces legally commissioned by the council. That one in particular I think was an advert so it was treated with even more disrespect. by mrcatisgodone (Fri 14th Feb 2020 9:02am)
  • I see they're just appealing to the young bampot demographic again. by mrcatisgodone (Fri 14th Feb 2020 11:30am)
  • As someone whose moved west to south I'd say there's advantages to both. South is more chill, Queens Park is arguably nicer then kg (less stabby at least), has great food options and a more community vibe. Also as just about to turn 30 felt like was getting on a bit for the west. Buuuuut I miss the west end drinking options. Don't get me wrong I love Ally Arms, Koelshipyard, Heraghtys and enjoy Rum Shack. But boozers out west reign supreme for sure. by mrcatisgodone (Mon 17th Feb 2020 8:55pm)

Me and a few others jumped in and held guy down till got to Pollokshaws West and wait for popo. When I stepped off train to give details there was something mental like twenty officers and four vans. by mrcatisgodone (Fri 3rd Apr 2020 4:38pm)

Darios is good if want grease and a good set of options but they fuck up orders alot. Stefano's has a great sauce and you don't feel like a bag of shit after it. • Kurdish only started doing delivery during lockdown and unsure if still going. Fucking class though and super cheap. I'm a big fan of Figo's on Kilmarnock Road for peri peri wings. Their dirty fries are also very good. Dario's do enjoyable but pretty greasy pizzas, which often hits spot when hungover. Have a sensational amount of topping options. They get turned into shoes and clothes by the Hollywood elites. Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie adopt kids to sell them for clothing. It's disgusting. Im a father and I'm just concerned for our children." Honestly some conspiracies I get the starting point but this is full on fucking nutty. by mrcatisgodone (Sun 30th Aug 2020 7:42am)
  • Used to have to deal with letters from these nuts in my old job so well versed in their theories. Basically the idea is that you do not consent to all the regulations and statute in the country of residence. They argue that their name used on registry and legal documents is separate from them as a person so if they're getting charged then they think that as they don't consent to it they're exempt from the laws etc. Anytime they actually go to court for anything they get pwned and it's hilarious. by mrcatisgodone (Sun 30th Aug 2020 7:58am)

  • So let's hammer hospitality and all scream about folks not wearing masks, but not pretend we've seen cases rise significantly since the uni reopening along with schools? by mrcatisgodone (Thu 8th Oct 2020 5:00am)
  • Yes but the issue being is schools have been open several weeks and kids aren't needing to go to school to pay the bills, not presently anyway. The schools will reopen but the pubs likely won't. Sturgeon said yesterday they dont know for sure but pubs reopening is timed with the increase but schools came back similar to point it really started going up. Even more so in Glasgow with the universities. Correlation doesn't mean causation but seems destroying one industry cause "maybe its the cause" is foolish. by mrcatisgodone (Thu 8th Oct 2020 10:43am)
  • Last time I checked the hospitality industry wasn't predominantly used by, nor a significant employer to, the vulnerable and elderly. Guess case for old men drinking in pubs but would imagine most the money comes from those getting shafted the most. Not saying I have the answers here but do think at a point the overall affects will be much worse going down the continual lockdown route. by mrcatisgodone (Thu 8th Oct 2020 3:08pm)
  • There's plenty of scientists now pushing forward the better plan is to let the youth live normally and shield just the vulnerable/elderly instead. I don't think it's a clear answer and understand both sides of the coin but I'm not entirely convinced this current route is the best. Obviously yes it doesn't just affect those post forty however statically speaking mostly those that get it are fine within a month. Still a not entirely understood illness but the stats don't support an idea that it'll affect the vast majority significantly. by mrcatisgodone (Thu 8th Oct 2020 4:00pm)

People on this sub were actively wanting tier four which will smash retail and hospitality to oblivion, say it'll teach the anti maskers and party goers but there's been no hard data showing this is the cause. Even if it is which is possible then why will these people change now in tier four? by mrcatisgodone (Tue 17th Nov 2020 4:11pm)

Alot of the lighter bags are fine for movement but if wanting to get lots of combos and actual feedback from your punches you'll need a heavy bag. City has been gentrified an absolute ton and ned culture as it was doesn't really exist. Still obviously problems but not comparable to how was then. • I used to live in West Street just past the university and close to Fergusilie. The neighbours were a nightmare, police raids weren't uncommon, getting harassed by addicts/drunkards in the street happened on occasions, late night incidents were common and generally the place was grotty. It all became background and was only after I moved I realised how bad the area was. Maybe I got unlucky, I dunno, but the crime stats suggest otherwise. by mrcatisgodone (Thu 11th Mar 2021 10:36am)
  • Think it's a 50/50 split on responsibility with pedestrians and runners. When I go running I try but it's hard when people walk in twos or threes across the pavement, or when walking solo don't walk in a straight line making it difficult to gauge which side to go on to maintain the distance. Even worse when do this walking in middle of the pavement. Do agree some runners are dipshits but some walkers are same. This is why I run at 5:30am to just avoid the bawache. by mrcatisgodone (Tue 16th Mar 2021 8:25am)

  • It's a case of it being much more easy to obtain and the quality of it being better nowadays. When I started going clubbing about 13 years ago it wasn't really a thing in electronic music nights. See it on occasion but there was an abundance of good ket and eventually good pills. Now good gear is in absolute abundance. Much like booze plenty of people can be fine on it but definitely sends some people into proper dickhead territory. Won't be going anywhere anytime soon. by mrcatisgodone (Sat 11th Sep 2021 12:31pm)

  • Hey there! It can be a bit intimidating to enter these gyms solo but you'll typically find friendly coaches and attendees. Pad work you're paired with one person so it usually forces some social interaction. If you're new a reputable gym will pair you with someone both friendly and experienced to show you the ropes. I've done muay thai for best part of eight years and trained ag a few places. Currently at Boxfit/POS which is a very friendly gym and the coach Gary is best I've had in terms of technical knowledge along with just being a good cunt. Griphouse has great coaches and a variety of martial arts options including some boxing. It's busy as hell but in a good way as meet a large variety of folks. My sister trains at the Glasgow Boxing Academy and seems to like it. The other option for just boxing city centre wise is Kynoch's which is popular. Newlife in Maryhill is another mma gym and looks no bad. Any questions don't hesitate to ask. There's a few poor trainers out there shilling on IG worth avoiding and a couple of mcdojos best swerved. by mrcatisgodone (Sat 30th Oct 2021 5:48am)

  • I think a massive thing to note here is money. Glasgow city centre is in a state but I was west end way at weekend and noticed lots of new business with few empty units. I live southside which is similar story. Simple case in that more affluent areas folks are going to be spending more and Edinburgh even without tourists is generally considered an area with more wealth. by mrcatisgodone (Wed 9th Feb 2022 1:13pm)
  • Found it super up and down. Like was weirdly cheap on Hogmanay but then last weekend grotesquely expensive. by mrcatisgodone (Sat 12th Feb 2022 10:02am)
  • Good but very expensive for small portions. Near £20 for three small fried chicken thighs and kimchi cheese chips is a tough pill to swallow. by mrcatisgodone (Mon 14th Feb 2022 9:29pm)
  • Lotus. £11 for grilled baby chicken, flat breads, chips, sauces and pickles. Add baklava on for dessert. As good as it gets by mrcatisgodone (Mon 14th Feb 2022 9:29pm)
  • The thighs were about half the size of my palm. Chilli cheese fries fair enough, will grant fairly decent sized but that with small chicken for £20 isn't good value. by mrcatisgodone (Tue 15th Feb 2022 8:45am)

  • Not saying should be happy clappy about public urinating. Im saying that as iffy as is, it's part the parcel of living next to hampden and going to reddit to wet the bed to get validation from all other middle class softies isn't productive and par the course if live in that area. Coming onto reddit for a group outrage doesn't do shite and it is what it is for that area on match day. Cities around the world install public urinals. I was in London last summer and have them dotted around Soho. Would i prefer cunts to hold it in till the stadium or pub? Absolutely. But drunk guys aren't exactly rational and there's measures that can be put in place for everyone's benefit. by mrcatisgodone (Sat 16th Apr 2022 8:09pm)

  • Grass is greener mentality. You live here and thus see worst of it. Plus subbing to r/Glasgow gives you a view that the city is a nutter infested hellscape. • So a murder that wasn't on the train and an anecdotal situation. So nothing tangible to actually justifying mass policing on trains. Thanks. by mrcatisgodone (Fri 6th May 2022 7:53am)
  • Aye man. Get train twice or more a day and have been getting them through the full pandemic. Admittedly I'm not getting on the most mental train lines but I've not seen anything more than outwith the usual. If police were on the train you'd get fined rapid for the beer drinking despite not causing bother. Also neds hiding from inspectors hardly causes the average person outside of the inspector much stress. by mrcatisgodone (Fri 6th May 2022 7:50am)

General consensus is its hit and miss or gone downhill but may still get a good bowl. 3. Nippon Kitchen. Never had their ramen but enjoy everything else they make so assume will be dece. by mrcatisgodone (Mon 19th Sep 2022 7:51am)

  • Always got to laugh at the absolute goons on this subreddit coming on and ranting directly to an individual who is very unlikely to even be on reddit. Usual stuff for all the sub members to have a mass circle jerk about how everyone is horrible in the city. by mrcatisgodone (Thu 13th Oct 2022 3:14pm)
  • They're going to play the hits that most people enjoy. There's a reason all the shite buskers doing Lewis Capaldi for the millionth time always have some weirdo filming them on their phone like they've spotted the next big thing. Dunno guys name but there's a young lad with an acoustic who does some super creative looping and tapping stuff that stands out. Same for the guy who had the six string bass and all the pedals although not seen for a bit. by mrcatisgodone (Fri 14th Oct 2022 3:24pm)

Ngl to OP but there's alot of homophobic/transphobic chuds in combat sports. Comes with the territory of goons who think Toe Rogan is good chat. But day to day class vibes up at gyms above will be grand. • Glasgow Fitness in Thornliebank is closest technically with Gary Douglas running DMT there on Mondays and Wednesdays. He's a knowledgeable guy with years in muay thai and a good fight team. BJJ can do at Ronin Grappling in Rutherglen. Well rated by those I know that grapple. Other than that for a full MMA gym you're looking at north for The Griphouse. Also New Life in Maryhill. by mrcatisgodone (Thu 23rd Mar 2023 8:30am)
  • At the moment? It's been dour as shite since the pandemic when folks spent days freaking out about people being close in parks and has just carried on through. by mrcatisgodone (Sun 26th Mar 2023 4:55pm)
  • So with muay thai there's no recognised coaching badges. All the best coaches of the UK are renowned on their history of own fighting career, experience in reputable gyms and then as a coach who they bring through along with other factors. The fella at KOP has gone to Thailand, done some "coaching courses" that muay thai gyms can use to rip off tourists and then returned telling everyone he's a "qualified" muay thai coach. I've watched alot of his stuff and like aye, he's capable enough to give people the basics of hitting pads which is fine. But you could probably go to many gyms across the UK and have guys of his level or better holding for you and you're not paying extra for them as a PT. I've been involved in the sport for 10 years and I wouldn't charge despite having more fight and coaching experience than KOP. Also be wary of any muay thai gyms making a spectacle of all the traditions like bowing etc. Leaning in on the general publics general view of martial arts from 90's action films and it's far from the reality. by mrcatisgodone (Mon 27th Mar 2023 8:38pm)
  • No worries at all. Where abouts in the city are you? Boxfit (ignore the name) is in the city centre and is great and where I train. Does often have waiting lists though. Griphouse I used to train at and it's good. Benefit of it is can do so much there as always open with or without classes. Coaches are all really fucking sound as well. My first coach takes the Mondays and Wednesdays at Glasgow Fitness and he's a good one. Know alot of folks who train there and it's a good bunch. Also in terms of value for money, the facilities at Glasgow Fitness are probably the best in the city for martial arts heads as get classes, weights gym and sauna steam I think for like £60 a month. by mrcatisgodone (Mon 27th Mar 2023 8:53pm)

  • Easier for folks to focus on the negative and let's be honest, there's alot of privileged folk in this sub who don't realise how bad it can truly be. • Funny thing being is that area of Ghill is full of the crowd who are generally into these politics. They had an open goal to be popular in the community but decided that being absolute bellends was a better idea. by mrcatisgodone (Wed 7th Jun 2023 8:25am)
  • People will come to an area to do just that, consume. The southside is busy busy busy and the main things that open up are just new food and drink places. Obviously have some nice green spaces to compliment but people are willing to travel out for good scran and bevvy. A venue to replace the ABC but be nice but wishful thinking probably. by mrcatisgodone (Wed 7th Jun 2023 9:25am)

  • I mean, she is a shit hot DJ so gets gigs on basis of that. Her pretty abrasive takes on racism within the electronic music scene are gonna rub some up wrong way, but there's definitely alot of bastards in that scene so she's coming from correct place. by mrcatisgodone (Sat 10th Jun 2023 6:38pm)
  • It's really great on a hot day. But way back KG had a similar vibe with police not enforcing too hard but once word got out and the mad cunts descended so did the harder policing. Just hoping QP doesn't fall to same fate. by mrcatisgodone (Wed 14th Jun 2023 7:37am)
  • Freedom of expression/protest. Bunch of absolute cunts but people are free to counter protest and do so. Can't say I disagree with exclusion zones being placed however to ensure patients aren't distressed but currently they're legally entitled to do so. by mrcatisgodone (Wed 14th Jun 2023 2:26pm)

  • Be careful with Happy Bus though. Mine didn't go straight to site and instead did a few stops about Lanarkshire (wishaw and Hamilton) meaning took a fucking age to get there and back, plus no toilet so the cans were a dangerous path. by mrcatisgodone (Thu 22nd Jun 2023 10:17am)
  • Alot of folk claiming it's a reaction from Rangers fans/loyalists, but you're all missing that there's alot of graff artists who despise Banksy. There's been a few anti Banksy bits popping up around town so potentially be same person. Could also be a seething Onion Bear member but just worth a thought. by mrcatisgodone (Thu 22nd Jun 2023 10:20am)
  • Joke name given to Union Bears. Ranger's permanently cringey ultra group. by mrcatisgodone (Thu 22nd Jun 2023 11:20am)
  • Not been single for a couple of years but during periods of being solo I've found dating via apps pretty good. Plenty of interesting people about. Will say though, I'm male and have looked at my female pals tinder feeds and fuck me is the quality difference stark. by mrcatisgodone (Fri 30th Jun 2023 6:47am)
  • So if I'm browsing for women wanting to meet men, theres obviously some that just aren't suitable, some that are interesting and an occasional EEK HELL NO. If go onto tinder as a women seeking men, it's a long long dig through alot of HELL NAW's to find guys who just at very least seem normal or nice. by mrcatisgodone (Fri 30th Jun 2023 10:28am)
  • People hate the owner as he's a conspiracy nutter. But also tbf, Bucks when first opened few years back actually did good fried chicken on the bone. Now it's a flattened breast fried and dry as fuck. by mrcatisgodone (Mon 3rd Jul 2023 7:52am)

  • Unite's whole process for these disputes does seem to be making as much noise as can on social media to get support and pressure. Which I do understand but does always get messy fast and turn it into a trial by social media. by mrcatisgodone (Wed 19th Jul 2023 1:13pm)
  • They employed similar action with the MacMerry situation last year so think this is now their established process for any disputes. by mrcatisgodone (Wed 19th Jul 2023 1:27pm)
  • Staff across several venues noting fuckery with pay and conditions. Unite went full ham online to put pressure on. Agreements made then some of the bars shut down also. by mrcatisgodone (Wed 19th Jul 2023 1:47pm)

  • Usually hate moaning, but the absolute quantity of buskers and due to this, mass nosedive in good ones, means I'm all for making busking in Glasgow illegal with a punishment of ten years listening to St Anger by Metallica if caught. by mrcatisgodone (Mon 31st Jul 2023 7:01am)
  • Aye think that's fair. Had moments on buchanan st where can hear two buskers playing yet another Lewis Capaldi number at same time and their audio mixing in the wind into a beige din. by mrcatisgodone (Mon 31st Jul 2023 12:16pm)
  • I've not trained there but fighters put out seems okay. But the wrestling coach pedigree at the grip is the best in Scotland so I'd still argue picking there. Both likely offer drop in prices so give both a go and see what enjoy more vibes wise. by mrcatisgodone (Mon 7th Aug 2023 9:23am)
  • Moflo med centre admin staff used to be absolutely horrible to everyone hence the bad reviews. Personally had them be super rude to me and anecdotally know many others with similar experience. Hopefully changed now. Doctors were always brand new though. by mrcatisgodone (Sat 2nd Sep 2023 1:39pm)

  • Boxing gyms from my experience don't offer this. Particularly as the amount of time it takes to become competent in boxing is long. Most gyms just offer monthly memberships and this will be your best path tbh. by mrcatisgodone (Wed 20th Sep 2023 12:22pm)
  • Kynoch's, Glasgow Fitness, Glasgow Boxing Academy and WDP would be first id reccomend. by mrcatisgodone (Wed 20th Sep 2023 12:45pm)
  • Their fried chicken is a flattened breast which is a lil dry. They don't do any other cuts. Was dece when first opened but shite now by mrcatisgodone (Thu 19th Oct 2023 8:42am)
  • The utter lack of quality fried chicken on the bone in this city is a fucker. Always fucking tendies. Give me a thigh ffs. by mrcatisgodone (Thu 19th Oct 2023 8:40am)
  • Several of the ones in southside do this. The absolute most dated shitty lcd tv's from 2012 with a £120 price tag. Boggles the mind. by mrcatisgodone (Mon 23rd Oct 2023 3:34pm)

  • There's alot more sites on the clearnet openly selling weed and actually following through with sending the product, although not a method I'd recommend anyone using for buying green. Unsure if this one is same or scam. The prices certainly were ridiculous. by mrcatisgodone (Sat 11th Nov 2023 10:11am)
