  • Have you tried the Facebook group Dear Auld Glasgow Toon? Might be worth a shot - good luck! https://m.facebook.com/groups/477355269064289?ref=share by mamasilverside (Mon 4th Feb 2019 4:11am)
  • No worries, hope it helps! by mamasilverside (Mon 4th Feb 2019 4:39am)
  • I get these through my door occasionally. Always wanted to find out more haha by mamasilverside (Mon 11th Feb 2019 2:37pm)
  • Eh, that’s why I avoided the Best Curry at the bottom of Crow Rd for ages but eventually tried it and it’s brilliant. This place though... there are cheaper, less painful ways to commit suicide. by mamasilverside (Thu 28th Feb 2019 6:57pm)
  • In Partick too and our big bin is on the main road because the bin men refused to go up and down the half landing to our back. As a result our bin is used by all and sundry as well as the nearby businesses. The residents of the close hardly get a chance to use it ourselves even the food bin is full and the bin men never empty it. I’ve complained to PHA and GCC constantly but nae joy. It’s a pain. by mamasilverside (Mon 20th May 2019 12:17am)
  • My husband has been trying to restart D&D since his old group fizzled out a few years back. Adult responsibilities, who’d have them? He also works with Mantic Games and is currently heavily demoing the new Hellboy game (I don’t tend to play table top but even I love it) and he’s with G3 who have an event coming up at Bellahouston Sports Centre. I’ll pass this thread over to him (he doesn’t do Reddit) in the morning, I think he’d love to get involved. by mamasilverside (Tue 18th Jun 2019 1:32am)
  • If it helps, it seems the bigots weren’t actually from Glasgow. I heard most of them shouting and they were American and English dudes. Still not nice though, agreed. I was encouraged by people’s response to them, including my mate who started a sing along of you cannae shove yer granny aff the bus and inviting Satan to s(h)ave her 😂 by mamasilverside (Sun 21st Jul 2019 1:29am)
  • It was Mardigla, organised as a free Pride after Pride Glasgow fucked up last year. Pride Glasgow are still doing a march in August but apparently a lot of people are dingying it. by mamasilverside (Sun 21st Jul 2019 1:35am)
  • Ugh that’s horrid, get them in the bin. Saddos. I hope you managed to have a good time regardless! by mamasilverside (Sun 21st Jul 2019 1:49am)
  • I wasn’t expecting much but I had a lovely time, the march was constantly moving and done pretty quickly, wandered about George Square chatting to people for a bit then went up to the Union which was a bit crazy and my mate works there usually, he told me the organisers were a bit flustered and mostly inexperienced volunteers. All in all, I hope they build on it for next year and learn what they need to do to make it better. by mamasilverside (Sun 21st Jul 2019 1:46am)
  • Keep an eye on Pride Glasgow’s website/Facebook page because of the politics and mess of last year, they’ve had to change out the plans a few times so it’s still up in the air what’s happening. If nothing else, the march itself is free (although apparently you need to register to participate now) and you can just hit the bars afterwards. Hope you enjoy it whatever you do! by mamasilverside (Sun 21st Jul 2019 1:54am)
  • Solid plan. by mamasilverside (Sun 21st Jul 2019 2:02am)
  • Stigmata is on Friday the 13th this month since we couldn’t resist having a theme. It’s on right after the Sheep On Drugs Vs Mechanical Cabaret gig at Ivory Blacks. Come down and bring your local friendly cash desk gal some haribo (or a rum and coke)! by mamasilverside (Sat 31st Aug 2019 5:12pm)
  • I was walking up Hope Street a few years back and a guy was walking down. We sorta made eye contact and I thought he looked like Billy Connelly but didn’t think it was him because he lives (lived?) in New York or something. As we passed each other we made eye contact again and he grinned at me so I thought this poor guy must get this all the time. I get home and on Facebook was a picture of Billy Connelly at the Bombay Street Kitchen. So aye, it was him. Damnit, should have got a picture. by mamasilverside (Mon 9th Sep 2019 2:43am)
  • I used to work in Parkhead, in the concessions then as security, from 2000 til 2004. I’d followed Celtic since I was old enough to sit with my dad and watch the game, bringing him his beer and oranges when told. I’d met a lot of the then current players at that point, they used to bring their weans out to kick around the pitch when the stadium emptied and it was lovely. Since then I’ve worked in various gig venues and met a lot of pretty famous people without much fuss (Lordi were surprisingly shy, Avril Lavigne was a nasty cow to name but 2) However, I’ve never been more star struck as the day I met Paul McStay. I still cringe at how floored I was by this very normal, unassuming guy. Absolute legend. by mamasilverside (Mon 9th Sep 2019 2:54am)
  • I’ve been in a few times, not had a bad meal yet. Definitely one of my new favourites and since I’m right next to it I’m spoiled for choice with the new places opening up. by mamasilverside (Tue 10th Sep 2019 6:11am)
  • I quite like Gallus - tunes are usually decent, it’s a great wee place to park it for the day but you’ve still got the option to head along Dumbarton Road or up Byres Road if you’re feeling fancy. I took my mates from Florida in last year and we got to talking politics, they didn’t mind discussing the American side because it was ‘safe’ but got all nervous when I (admittedly loudly) started going on about our last few years. When I noticed, mid-rant, that they were eyeing the other patrons I told them it was almost a sure thing anyone in earshot agreed with me. I got a few ‘ayes’ and raising of pints in our direction. It’ll have been a year in October and they still talk about how amazing that was haha Oh and most importantly, there’s usually at least 2 dugs in situ. Brilliant. (Apparently not a thing in Florida so they were over the moon with that too) by mamasilverside (Thu 12th Sep 2019 2:36pm)
  • C’mon, they’re already mutants - putting them in Clyde will only make it worse. by mamasilverside (Fri 20th Sep 2019 6:59am)
  • Average Weegie here, I have friends and family in and from the Burgh, and any rivalry is pure banter and never serious. I’ve never met anyone who took it seriously. Which team you support is apparently more important to be honest. by mamasilverside (Thu 7th Nov 2019 4:18pm)
  • I snort laughed at that, I’m going to hell. by mamasilverside (Thu 7th Nov 2019 4:18pm)
  • I’m in the QEUH, can’t open the windows but the whole place stinks of smoke. Not a nice thing to wake up to earlier! by mamasilverside (Mon 16th Dec 2019 8:24am)
  • Aye, just had ankle surgery on Friday so I’m not exactly mobile, if we’d have to had evacuated that would have been a helluva wake up call! Hopefully home later today though. by mamasilverside (Mon 16th Dec 2019 8:51am)
  • Haha no, not a real mama (it’s my burlesque name actually!) I’m getting transport because I live in a third floor flat so need a stair climber - I’ll be strapped in like Hannibal Lector which will be fun. Honest. Eep. by mamasilverside (Mon 16th Dec 2019 9:14am)
  • Ha! by mamasilverside (Mon 16th Dec 2019 2:53pm)
  • Luckily that wasn’t too bad while I was there. Home now, my husband says that even over here in Partick the smoke was bad this morning. Just happy to be home now in any case :) by mamasilverside (Mon 16th Dec 2019 3:04pm)
  • And a Happy New Year! by mamasilverside (Wed 25th Dec 2019 3:38am)
  • I’m not long out of that hospital, I can’t thank you all enough for everything you do. by mamasilverside (Wed 25th Dec 2019 7:13pm)
  • Can confirm. Lived here 10 years and it’s rough enough that a former East Ender like me feels at home, but nice enough that there’s not a whole lot of trouble. Helps that there’s a big student population too I think. by mamasilverside (Sun 9th Feb 2020 2:06pm)
  • The McD’s on Crow Road have a sign that says there’s no food, money or supplies on premises. My husband joked that was to stop people breaking in for cleaning supplies but honestly... wouldn’t be the wildest thing I’ve even seen so far regarding panic. by mamasilverside (Mon 30th Mar 2020 3:50am)
  • Also recommend Banh Mi in Partick. It’s dangerously close to my gaff and I’m in at least once a week for summer rolls, banh mi and Vietnamese coffee. by mamasilverside (Sun 15th Aug 2021 10:21pm)
  • I get them too, always gives me a chuckle. by mamasilverside (Sat 2nd Oct 2021 3:26pm)
  • Good point but I’d hope there’s a policy in place for lost property, especially a phone. It’s why I deliberately didn’t mention the model version or screen background on here either. by mamasilverside (Sun 21st Nov 2021 2:14pm)
  • Why on earth would I fib about handing in a phone? I’m not so much of an arsehole I’d keep someone’s phone then lie about where it is - losing a phone sucks and I just wanted to try to get it back to it’s owner. by mamasilverside (Sun 21st Nov 2021 2:12pm)
  • That was my hope, I’ve got an iPhone myself and that feature helped me find my phone when I dropped it in a funfair. Lifesaver honestly. by mamasilverside (Sun 21st Nov 2021 2:16pm)
  • It’s a fair point, I know years ago I found a phone in a taxi one time and kept a hold of it because it was more likely to not find its way home. Luckily I was able to contact the last person they texted (before lock codes were standard) and told them it was found, the lassie was over the moon because she had photos of her late dad in the memory card. Got some chocolate when she came to pick it up! Also, not a guy ;) by mamasilverside (Sun 21st Nov 2021 5:14pm)
  • Scrolled way too far to make sure Banh Mi was mentioned. Excellent place. Dumpling Monkey is brilliant too. Monza looks lovely but I’ve never had a better than average coffee or food there, there’s definitely better around. Down To Earth is a great place that changes the menu frequently, good for when you want to cater to different dietary needs. Take away wise Best Curry House is great wee Chinese too, Ceqwa is a decent Indian place. by mamasilverside (Tue 28th Dec 2021 1:46am)
  • It’s not, but the main chef now works at Down To Earth. by mamasilverside (Tue 28th Dec 2021 1:50am)
  • Also got a branch in Dumbarton Rd in Partick - I live right next to it and it’s my go to for eggs and bread now. Worth the extra cost honestly. by mamasilverside (Sat 8th Jan 2022 2:58am)
  • My pal was at Katie’s Bar in John Street last night and no one was allowed to leave from around 11 til 1 because of an ‘ongoing incident’. When they were finally allowed to leave she said there was still loads of police swarming about but no idea what happened. I actually came on here to see if anyone knew by now. by mamasilverside (Tue 1st Feb 2022 8:28am)
  • There’s an Asian hair salon on Dumbarton Road in Partick, just at the bottom of Byres Rd - not sure what it is called since the logo appears to be in Hanzi. It’s in between T4 (the bubble tea place) and Curry Pot; small unit but always looks busy when I pass. by mamasilverside (Sun 6th Feb 2022 3:57am)
  • I’ve talked about him on this sub before too, Justin is a sweetheart. My friend works as a manager in KFC and she used to always tell me when she heard about feedback coming for him. I should ask her if she knows where he is now. by mamasilverside (Fri 4th Mar 2022 12:34am)
  • Cheers, not a driver so didn’t know about that! by mamasilverside (Mon 21st Mar 2022 11:07am)
  • Cheers, have let my sister know about both apps mentioned! by mamasilverside (Mon 21st Mar 2022 12:27pm)
  • Isn’t that the price of a Freddo these days? by mamasilverside (Mon 21st Mar 2022 12:30pm)
  • I’ve just came back to edit to add since I found her! I went through hundreds of comments to finally see someone else comment, it was Tianna Esperanza. by mamasilverside (Sun 12th Jun 2022 11:09pm)
  • I remember meeting him in The Chip too, was in visiting a pal that also works there. He was lovely til his wife came in with her face tripping her and they started sniping at each other. Totally awkward, but apparently it was common and no one in there liked her because she always expected special treatment but he never did. by mamasilverside (Sat 20th Aug 2022 1:13am)
  • My husband completely agrees and is working on getting a place for table top and other gaming. He goes to Geek Retreat for Monday Night Magic but it’s simply not big enough to get other gaming in - he needs to go to Common Ground Gaming in Stirling for that. He’s currently working with a few different enterprises who are all keen to get the plan going. It’s definitely something we’re lacking. by mamasilverside (Mon 5th Sep 2022 8:50pm)
  • Went to post this, but in my heart I knew it’d already been said. by mamasilverside (Tue 13th Sep 2022 8:24pm)
  • The fact I live so close to Banh Mi is both a blessing and a curse. It’s phenomenal by mamasilverside (Fri 4th Nov 2022 12:10am)
  • Aye, my pal has worked there for over 25 years and he was saying he was sick of regulars coming in saying how everything will change when the new owners change over so he started pointing out they took over 3 months ago. He says the only thing that’s changed so far is the staff have had to take online courses for health & safety/hygiene in accordance with the new owners guidelines. by mamasilverside (Fri 4th Nov 2022 12:24am)
  • Used to love Turquoise, the guys that used to run it were lovely and the scran was always excellent. I worked late nights close by and they’d always let me sit upstairs out the way of drunk crowds while I waited on my food, then get me a cab home. I know they really struggled after The Arches closed down and I think the pandemic was the finally nail in the coffin. They sold up to the Grill Guru guys next door and now it’s shite. If I knew I was getting my last chicken donner with cheese and extra garlic sarbeni when I did I was have appreciated it more. by mamasilverside (Fri 4th Nov 2022 12:41am)
  • I’m still getting over it, it hit me pretty brutal last weekend and I still am going through about 3 packs of tissues a day because I’m constantly sneezing. Absolutely grotty. by mamasilverside (Fri 18th Nov 2022 11:56pm)
  • Ha, I remember moving to Cardonald after living in Pollok and Easterhouse before that, my mum thought we were moving up in the world. Until she realised Tarfside had nice flats, but still had the same issues as pretty much every other high rise in the city (we’d also lived in Red Road years before). I’ve moved around a lot in Glasgow. She never could find a place she loved, now she’s in a wee village in Moray, and dying to move back down. by mamasilverside (Wed 7th Dec 2022 6:31am)
  • I was there from ‘97 to ‘05, so hi neighbour! I have so many horror stories from that place I was not sad to see them come down. by mamasilverside (Wed 7th Dec 2022 11:08pm)
  • The Han Solo statue was owned by a guy I used to know, I think it sat in Variety for years just because it was easy storage haha. He used to DJ at the QMU (Tues nights, Rev). Don’t actually know if he still does anywhere else. This has just reminded me how long it’s been since I heard anything from him. by mamasilverside (Sat 10th Dec 2022 1:32pm)
  • I’m just back from the shops, I had 3 layers on and saw a guy wandering about with a pair of cargo shorts and a hoodie. Mental case. by mamasilverside (Tue 13th Dec 2022 10:00pm)
  • Went to primary school with a Shaun Bean in the earlier/mid 90s. I think us school kids weren’t massively aware of the actor yet (was Sharpe out around then?) so he mostly got called Mr Bean. My mate went to school with James McAvoy. Think he’s the reason his name is famous though! by mamasilverside (Wed 14th Dec 2022 2:31am)
  • Partners were never allowed in with you, weird but I’ve been getting them a long time and have never been allowed my husband in the room. It really depends on where you are in your cycle how painful it ends up being, but if you’re worried about that take some ibuprofen about 20 minutes before your appointment, and you’ll likely experience some cramping afterwards so a hot water bottle for later is a good idea. They’ll probably offer you a cuppa or some diluting juice afterwards since your blood pressure might dip, so I suggest taking something sweet to munch on afterwards too. I’ve had appointments at both Sandyford and Stobhill and honestly Sandyford have been much better in terms of getting it sorted quickly but not painfully. The Stobhill doctor was a damn sadist, I ended up being held down by 2 nurses while she jammed it up there (wasn’t expecting insertion on that appointment so hadn’t taken painkillers). She must have known the pain I experienced was normal for her method and had them come in, first time it wasn’t just me and the person doing the procedure. That was on her though, and I’ve refused to go back since. Sandyford all the way. by mamasilverside (Wed 14th Dec 2022 12:50pm)
  • Yeah probably since it’s such an intimate procedure: people, no matter how familiar they are with the area, aren’t allowed to just sit and watch haha. Sandyford historically have always been far more kind and willing to go the extra step to make things as comfortable as possible whenever I’ve went in for this and other services. Never had a negative experience there and I think the care they provide really helps you to physically relax since you’re less of a bundle of nerves. I think at that point of your cycle is best since you won’t be about ready to shed your uterine lining and all swollen. I’ve no doubt you’ll be totally fine, I know I recommended ibuprofen but if you’re ok with co codamol that might be a better option (I saw someone mention it below). You can get 8/500 over the counter or your GP can prescribe it (or the stronger version 30/500 if appropriate) ahead of time. by mamasilverside (Wed 14th Dec 2022 3:58pm)
  • I still work cash desk at a few shows for my favourite local promotors/venues (at Ivory’s working right now!) and I’d be well up for that. Glasgow still has a great music scene but it’s dying a slow death because unless you’re absolutely on the ball on social media, people just don’t know how many gigs are on at any given time. by mamasilverside (Thu 15th Dec 2022 9:06pm)
  • The Room 2 promotor is a great guy, definitely check them out. by mamasilverside (Sun 1st Jan 2023 2:47pm)
  • Early Friday morning I had to go to the vet. My cat had passed away. She was in her carrier and it was absolutely bucketing it down. The vet is about a 10 minute walk away and I was distraught. My husband went to the nearby taxi rank and asked the driver if he took card. He ‘unfortunately’ did. We got in. I was audibly crying. My husband gave the address to the vet and the driver said ‘fuck sake you’re paying card and the fare isn’t even £4?’ We hadn’t left yet so I said we were getting out and went to stand up. He said no it’s fine and I said again I wanted out, but he locked the doors and drove off. I dug through my bag and found some smash, it was dark and I honestly could barely see at this point, so I handed it to my husband and asked if it would be enough. It was, so when we got to the vet my husband handed it over and the driver was like ‘no it’s fine let me turn my card machine on’. We just left the money in the tray and got out. It was only after I thought we should have got his plates but I wasn’t really thinking straight. I’ve had a few cab drivers talk to me about preferring cash over card but it was the first time anyone was actively rude about it and it came at the worst possible time. We walked home after. by mamasilverside (Tue 3rd Jan 2023 12:25am)
  • Thank you. She was ill for a while, so it wasn’t unexpected - but she was my baby and I bonded with her in a way I never have with other pets, even though I loved them loads. My husband was so angry but told me later that his main concern was just getting me through it. He wishes he’d said something but I assured him starting an argument wouldn’t have helped, he did the right thing in just holding my hand and hugging each other instead. by mamasilverside (Tue 3rd Jan 2023 12:57am)
  • No one who responded to me here called you that. Why would you bother to tell an outright and easily found out lie like that? Did you not get hugged enough as a child? Or are you under the impression that annoying someone who said they were currently grieving is funny? Either way, here’s that wee morsel of attention you needed. Now fuck all the way off. by mamasilverside (Tue 3rd Jan 2023 10:20am)
  • Another vote for Cloud 9. Very recently, I had to make the decision to let my cat rest after a brave battle with cancer. Charis came out the next day (Dec 29th) and was so gentle my cat didn’t even notice the first jab that sent her to sleep, which is given before the second was administered to stop her heart, a process they say is much better and serene for animals. Kasha was very unhappy out of her home so I couldn’t have her last moments being in fear or distress at the vets, and Cloud 9 made it possible for her to be comfortable and feel secure in her final moments. I’m crying a bit writing this, I’m still grieving. Charis was so lovely, and gave my husband and I time to talk through things beforehand, then gave us a few minutes privacy in between the injections to say goodbye. We had already arranged with our vet for cremation, but Cloud 9 also offer to handle that as they work with a service in Bathgate who will come pick up your pet a little after the process. by mamasilverside (Sat 14th Jan 2023 7:18pm)
  • Thank you. She was a stubborn wee madam and fought very hard but I didn’t want her to suffer either. I was scared I’d keep her longer out of selfishness, not wanting to give her up, but my vet was sure I’d know when she was ready. In the end I was. She was still eating, drinking and being affectionate but I couldn’t miss how wobbly she was, and the wee spark in her eyes faded the last morning she woke me up to feed her. That’s when I made the appointment. She softly went to sleep while still licking away at her favourite treat, salmon mousse, in my arms. I’m heartbroken, but couldn’t have asked for a better way to let her go. It’s the price we pay for such a beautiful friendship. My bond with Kasha is still so special and important to me, and I’m grateful for that despite the pain of losing her. I hope you have many, many years with your pup, and put off thinking about the tough part until you have to. Give him a wee snuggle for me. by mamasilverside (Sat 14th Jan 2023 9:03pm)
  • You’re very welcome. I hope you don’t need to act on the advice you get here for a long time yet, but it’s a testament to your love that you want your cat’s care to be as peaceful as possible. ❤️ by mamasilverside (Sat 14th Jan 2023 9:06pm)
  • My husband didn’t believe me about Maggie Murphy until it was referenced in Derry Girls! Every area we moved to had a Maggie Murphy hoose that you weren’t allowed near haha by mamasilverside (Sun 5th Mar 2023 3:20am)
  • I still quote that video often haha by mamasilverside (Sun 5th Mar 2023 3:25am)
  • Same! Excellent gig 👌 by mamasilverside (Sun 2nd Apr 2023 7:31am)
  • I lived in Red Rd flats at the time (was also 8) and I swore I could hear some of the music. Can’t remember now if that was true or I was just imagining it. Could definitely see the lights though, I was gutted I wasn’t there, my mum and aunty went and swore kids were not allowed to gigs. That’s been a long running joke since 😑 by mamasilverside (Sun 2nd Apr 2023 7:39am)
  • Was that the gig Nickleback were supporting and the lead singer was absolutely smashed? Probably the only time I enjoyed the band, he was hilarious trying to get through the set, literally in good spirits (or beer). by mamasilverside (Sun 2nd Apr 2023 7:35am)
  • I was going to suggest this, I loved this book, and didn't know it was based in Glasgow until I started reading it. by mamasilverside (Sun 2nd Apr 2023 9:44pm)
  • I run the cash desk at a some local/small gigs and some club nights, between Ivory Blacks (most often!), Audio, Slay, Room 2 and occasionally other venues and less frequently in Edinburgh. Tomorrow (Saturday 17th) I’ll be on the cash desk for Danse Macabre at Bonjour. It’s a great night; very queer friendly and almost always busy. There’s been a lot of chat about the quality of smaller gigs lately, now that most of the ‘rescheduled after lockdown’ stuff has been and gone, it’s been difficult for some alt promoters (ie not Triple G) to book bands that either bring in a crowd, aren’t a tribute band, or both. I know there’s still some exciting bands in Glasgow, as well as elsewhere, but the focus seems to be online content, not live shows. I hope it’s just a hangover from the pandemic. In any case, I really should punt the shows I’m working at up here and r/glasgowmusic to spread the word a bit more. So many times I’ve heard ‘aww I wish I knew that was on’, maybe it’ll help. by mamasilverside (Sat 17th Jun 2023 3:26am)
  • I’ve seen some not great stuff in town but last night I was walking to the taxi rank (around 3.30am so club kicking out time) and a guy came up to me like ‘what’s your name, I wanna talk’. I told him to fuck off, walked a bit away and another guy came straight over to ask if I was ok. I absolutely was, the first dude was still trying to talk but didn’t push it further and I was comfortable enough to get shouty if I needed to. I told the second guy I appreciated him checking. I’ve been working in clubs and doing gigs for over 10 years, and was out about most weekends for since 2002. I’ve thankfully never been in a situation in Glasgow where I felt unsafe. Whenever I have had idiots around, 9/10 someone will try to help me out. I’ve been that person for other people who need help getting away too. I hold hope that no matter how bad things can be, someone is usually there to help out, and I have always loved that about Glasgow. Had a similar experience in Ponty, Wales, and that was studiously ignored by everyone around. Wankers. by mamasilverside (Mon 19th Jun 2023 12:01am)
  • Ponty town centre was pretty grim, always said it was like Paisley without the charm. Charity shops were usually alright though, found many a hidden gem in those. For all the issues I still miss visiting, having family in the area - they all moved back en masse up to Aberdeenshire a few years back. by mamasilverside (Wed 21st Jun 2023 7:02am)
  • Oft, I’ve got no chance before 2024 have I 😬 hope he does well! by mamasilverside (Wed 2nd Aug 2023 9:34pm)

  • If you’re into it, Halloween Asylum at Ivory Blacks is on Saturday (28th). Goth/alt/industrial music club night. Dress up always encouraged, but especially at Halloween 👻 https://m.facebook.com/events/1394568061441113 by mamasilverside (Wed 25th Oct 2023 4:06pm)
  • Missing Records, moved around to Oswald Street a few years back. by mamasilverside (Wed 25th Oct 2023 9:19pm)
  • Hey! I’m your local friendly cash desk gal who works the door at Stigmata, Asylum and occasionally Retox, all at Ivory Blacks. Asylum was last night but we have a [Stigmata/Asylum](https://facebook.com/events/s/club-stigmata-asylum-joint-pos/352445664034227/) collab on the 9 Dec and like others have said, ScotGoth on Facebook is your best bet to connect/find out about gigs. Unfortunately, the wonderful venue Bonjour announced their closure last night, so Danse Macabre is taking a short break while they figure out their next steps. Check them out on Instagram for updates; I hope they’ll be back soon. Spoke to them last night before the announcement and they said they’re looking at March/April for the next DM, venue pending. Also hope Bonjour are able to reopen, it’s a brilliant space. If you have any questions drop me a line, I’m lurkying about Reddit at least once a day 🫶 by mamasilverside (Sun 26th Nov 2023 3:24pm)
