  • In general Glasgow is the same as most other major cities, it has its fair share of hate crimes against minorities no matter what the "people make Glasgow" slogan says. At the same time you are very unlikely to be racially abused in the street in the way you are worried about as there is a pretty big Asian student population by Tvdevil_ (Fri 29th May 2020 12:22am)
  • [https://www.facebook.com/stvnews/videos/286243062749319/](https://www.facebook.com/stvnews/videos/286243062749319/) It looks absolutely packed, seems that picture was right at the back, as it was absolutely jumping by Tvdevil_ (Sun 7th Jun 2020 4:19pm)
  • That's fair, however the title makes it sound like the protest did a great job of social distancing, the video clearly shows it was none-existent. I'm in favour of black lives matter 100% , but a protest at such a critical time in the Covid19 timeline is so misjudged, even the official BLM movement in Glasgow were against it, instead suggesting donation (which I did) and an online protest. by Tvdevil_ (Sun 7th Jun 2020 4:47pm)
  • I will fault them then; people attending here have directly caused the spread of the disease and people will die as a result. The Black Lives Matters organisers cancelled it and said not to go they knew the increase in deaths and transmission that would occur. Also have you seen the videos? there was virtually no social distancing at all. thousands packed like sardines. by Tvdevil_ (Sun 7th Jun 2020 7:04pm)
  • Wouldn't say its a privileged to stay at home, more a necessity being in the shielded group like million of others. The answer to racism and police brutality should not be increasing the death count, the answer to death is not to cause more death. In case you missed it the UK is absolutely horrendous at handling this global pandemic, why would someone go and make it worse? since when is the answer to police brutality and racism to cause death of others? Don't forget the official organisers cancelled this march as they saw what it would lead to, fully expect a pretty big spike coming, and hundreds more to die. by Tvdevil_ (Sun 7th Jun 2020 7:00pm)
  • what about the excess deaths? can keep quoting that IFR. including excess deaths and the UK is close to 70,000... and we are only at the first wave, scientists virtually all agree that there will be a second wave due to the mass numbers ignoring the guidelines Deeply concerned that some peoples lives seem to be worth less to you than others. if they were all the same colour of skin, it would be considered racist but they arn't so the risk of thousands dying seems to not matter by Tvdevil_ (Sun 7th Jun 2020 8:12pm)
  • "who will have died this year anyway" - subjective much? any evidence for that? "im not really worried about a second wave" - ah it doesnt worry you, let others die, they dont matter only you. The Uk's response to this pandemic is the worst in Europe, its been a total shitshow. the worst possible thing anyone could do right now is go out and cause more deaths. your responses clearly show you dont care if people die because they aren't relevant to you, cant argue with stupid by Tvdevil_ (Sun 7th Jun 2020 8:25pm)
  • forgot to point out - your entire argument about the virus is it doesn't affect the majority, fuck the minority they are irrelevant - now tell me if i'm wrong isn't that the exact reason the black lives matters protests are happening? due to that exact situation? by Tvdevil_ (Sun 7th Jun 2020 8:30pm)
  • The worst part for me is just how many of them feel bold enough to go out and do this, usually they are stuck in a dingy little corner where they belong but they are feeling emboldened with the rise of right wing populism. its a concerning thought. glasgow cant keep saying "people make glasgow" and everyone is welcome etc etc when thick as shit racists feel they can get away with stuff like this. by Tvdevil_ (Mon 15th Jun 2020 4:31pm)
  • Yep plenty of videos on twitter. This time people were campaigning for safe accommodation for asylum seekers - totally unrelated to BLM and any possible statue vandalism, but as we all knew the statues was an excuse, they just want to hit people that ain't white by Tvdevil_ (Wed 17th Jun 2020 7:52pm)
  • If i'm reading this right, there are like 15 people at the square and 200ish trying to get there to beat them up? Sounds about right for the far right wall punchers by Tvdevil_ (Sat 20th Jun 2020 11:59am)
  • disappointed in someone you don't know over the internet... Bet he's second guessing himself over an ex para's comments about events 40 years ago on a bbc article from 2 years ago. Have a day off. On another note - welcome to Glasgow mate! Bit of a shit show the now in terms drinking, even before the epidemic bars and clubs had a habit of burning down in mysterious circumstances! It shouldn't be too hard to find a football team though. If you are really lost the 5-a-side centre at goals in the city centre can put you in touch with teams that need players at least on a one off basis to get you meeting some teams and get the ball rolling. by Tvdevil_ (Sat 20th Jun 2020 10:42pm)
  • Could be wrong, but they all look like they are dressed like Vets/supporters, out to celebrate armed forces day. Seems all the people who are so "dedicated" to "protect the statues" cant handle a bit of rain/have no actual idea about what they are talking about or this is one of the days they would be actually out at. Funny that. Fair play to the vets and British legion supporters that did turn out in this weather though! Worthy cause. by Tvdevil_ (Sat 27th Jun 2020 4:33pm)
  • People need to stop hitting out with that people make glasgow shite. its horrendously untrue and stuff like that comment section proves it. Police had to shut parks due to all the total clowns that cant take the hint to stay home during a pandemic Central station is full of beggers, junkies shooting up and other folk that make people feel unsafe. ( just need to see the most recent post) The far right literally took over George square by the hundreds days on end during a lockdown where the only thing they had to do was stay home and couldnt even do that. ( yet none were at the armed forces day celebration, proving that it had nothing to do with protecting the cenotaph) We still have officially sanctioned hate marches from the orange order every single weekend pre-lockdown and they'll be back. The gay clubs get vandalised more often than the news care to report. The city is a cesspit in some places and the councillors & MSPs need to sort it out before it sinks any lower by Tvdevil_ (Sun 28th Jun 2020 8:17pm)
  • That kind of money could get you a really nice place in a much better area, castlemilk is still a bit of a cesspit in terms of crime, because its a new build in a rough place the value wont really go up while the area is still so bad by Tvdevil_ (Mon 6th Jul 2020 5:37pm)
  • DELETED There is going to be a second wave in winter, would go now before shit hits the fan and everything closes again, that's my plan anyway, whilst the rate is still low go and enjoy. by Tvdevil_ (Sat 18th Jul 2020 7:05pm)
  • As someone who has been shielding for 4 months and being told it is basically a nailed on certainty ill be shielding again from october-january, Think I'll be taking advantage of the fact its at record lows currently by Tvdevil_ (Sat 18th Jul 2020 11:02pm)
  • Will be hard/nigh on impossible to just jump back in where you left off, but in terms of saving money, and avoiding paying for a HNC again, open uni do free degrees providing you earn less than 25k and year 1 in a degree is just a HNC level year, if you plan on going further down education route its a shout Also if you passed any modules, it might be hard but potentially could get credit recognition if you go into the same field again by Tvdevil_ (Mon 10th Aug 2020 5:40pm)
  • Wouldn't ever trust a gas engineer doing cold calls to houses, if they were any good they wouldn't need to go trying to punt a boiler door to door. If you want to make sure they actually qualified get their gas safe register number, you can look up the Gas safe register with it, anyone that is qualified to work on gas will be on the register if they aren't ye have a bogus gas man on yer hands and shouldn't have them in by Tvdevil_ (Mon 10th Aug 2020 5:45pm)
  • Never support salvation army, absolutely shocking organisation by Tvdevil_ (Sat 31st Oct 2020 9:50pm)
  • Kimchi Cult is great for some good Korean food, partick area, not too specialist but in the past they have done specials which are a little more specialist by Tvdevil_ (Tue 22nd Dec 2020 11:39pm)
  • I'd say partick/West end, big young student population and with it being a Uni area, its far more liberal and progressive, would also say with the majority of the west end being lit, full of hotels and general nocturnal student life you'd be pretty safe in the wee hours, that said i'm not female so can only go on the genera area precovid times from a male perspective but its a busy area all hours of the day with bars clubs unis and plenty of food joints generally by Tvdevil_ (Fri 19th Feb 2021 8:09pm)
  • Idiots man, Im a massive rangers fan and this is so stupid. Aside from health concerns and covid safety concerns, Nicola sturgeon is getting absolutely rinsed in the inquiry and looks a lame duck with being exposed lying etc. She will be rubbing her hands with glee. She's given that many last warnings that I would be willing to bet that a suspension of football, just to get that on front page news could be on the cards now. Would certainly be headline news for a while, which would be convenient by Tvdevil_ (Sat 6th Mar 2021 2:47pm)
  • How am i blaming nicola sturgeon? I'm merely stating these idiots are giving her an "easy out" of the shambles shes found herself in. She's getting rinsed hook line and sinker by the creep salmond, that's just fact. The inquiry is front page news every day at the moment, she's already said last warning multiple times for football fans. these clowns have given her an easy way to get her name out of headlines, and the inquiry out of peoples minds. by Tvdevil_ (Sat 6th Mar 2021 4:33pm)
  • Am i Wrong? She's struggling hugely in the inquiry, been exposed, vote of no confidence and salmond has her on the ropes. this is the exact type of news that would take her out the firing line? Dont get me wrong, these idiots are to blame for any future cancellation of football, but tell me i'm wrong by saying this is exactly the sort of news that benefits the FM. her shambles is taken out of front page news for a while, which a politician is exactly what works best for her. by Tvdevil_ (Sat 6th Mar 2021 4:30pm)
  • You seem Obsessed with the tories, I don't think I have said anything at all to imply that I am one? unless not whole heartedly supporting the SNP automatically makes you a tory these days, which you are implying. Boris is a wank, tories are actively hateful and monsters. the fact you and so many others seem to defend her against anything at all is why I personally believe there is a cult of personality around her now, you see it every day its not im voting the SNP its "im with nicola" or "she might be guilty but *insert whataboutry here*, so because someone else is a tadger she is ok to keep being one? have standards really slipped that low? by Tvdevil_ (Sat 6th Mar 2021 4:54pm)
  • greens voting with the SNP isnt really a shock is it though? absolutely anything could have came out and they would have voted against any motion I would advise you read more than one source, maybe watch it for yourself than reading 1 paper and saying she's in the clear, there is clear evidence taxpayer money was spent taking this through the courts in the knowledge of it certainly failing as part of some personal vendetta, her own husband has contradicted her as well, if you actually watched it you'd see how embarrassing it is by Tvdevil_ (Sat 6th Mar 2021 8:22pm)
  • from what I understand electric boilers are 6x more expensive to run that gas boilers, so rough guide compared to old house by Tvdevil_ (Sat 20th Mar 2021 4:37pm)
  • you can get giant ones from farm foods, 4 a pack, and they are huge 10/10 from me see the day they go out, the icing is still butter soft, worked in lidl and they are passable from the bakery But farmfoods giant ones for me! by Tvdevil_ (Sat 20th Mar 2021 5:55pm)

  • Slightly out of west end but I'm going a bit off the beaten track Papa Ali Knightswood - kebab shop that don't use that standard premade biscuit base most kebab shops use, also don't use pre-grated packaged cheese so it melts like proper cheese, and they use hunners of it - they always throw in a wee garlic sauce tub for the crusts as well for £5.60 for a 12" its ideal for a proper pizza that isnt artisan and "posh" I have 2 pizza huts 2 dominoes and 2 proper Italian pizza takeaways within 20 minutes delivery from me, wouldn't go anywhere else except papa ali by Tvdevil_ (Thu 6th May 2021 3:29pm)
  • definitely get in for it! by Tvdevil_ (Thu 6th May 2021 6:58pm)
  • To be honest apart from the pizzas I've never had anything else other than chips but the chips are a good standard as well tbh, peri peri chips from them are solid! definitely give it a try! They used to do a deal £9.70 for a 12 inch pizza with a topping, garlic bread pizza, chips and a can - but i kept getting it so they took it off haha couldn't have been making a penny on it. Talked myself into getting one for tea tonight as well by Tvdevil_ (Thu 6th May 2021 6:56pm)
  • LA Mex in the barras for mexican Kimchi cult in partick for a Korean Smokey trotters in the dirty dutchess (best burger in glasgow imo) west end Dumpling monkey in partick for good quality actual Chinese food (not the western take on it) Dennistoun Bar-B-Que in dennieston burger piled high Rafas in the hidden lane in west end for more mexican! i'm sure theres more but off the top of my head they are all good solid food spots! by Tvdevil_ (Tue 18th May 2021 8:22pm)
  • Location is good, but its rough. the kind of place you'll see an old couch lying on the street or in the landing of tenements for months at a time, some people will be nice like all areas but its pretty deprived. work in the area alot and if possible i'd look elsewhere, every second block of tenements i was finding dirty nappies or needles. "you'll wipe your feet on the way out" kinda area as my da would say haha by Tvdevil_ (Wed 19th May 2021 4:28pm)
  • LA mex is pretty casual they have a wee courtyard dining area type bit beside the building that's covered and are low key ok with you sitting there if you wanted to eat when you get yer food, just not officially because of level 3 but they wouldnt say no if you wanted to just chill, done it myself its more a walk in kinda place than a book in type aswell by Tvdevil_ (Wed 19th May 2021 4:30pm)
  • Banh Mi and Tea in partick does an absolutely banging one like echoattempt says! Only £5.80 aswell so very easy to top up with sides ;) by Tvdevil_ (Sun 15th Aug 2021 10:46am)

  • Plenty on marketplace on facebook can pick up a cooker less than a year old for less than £50 happens quite alot, someone moves house and their white cooker doesn't fit/ stands out like a sore thumb in a new kitchen - often the ones on market place come with the hose too which saves a good 15 quid getting one in screwfix Will say dont bother too much with guarantee - cookers under the hood are pretty basic pieces of equipment and they rarely break until they are 6/7 years old - 9/10 times a fault with a hob ends up being food jammed in the injectors stopping gas getting through just make sure when you pick it up check under the hob plates that the hole is clear if it is chances are the cookers fine side note if ye need the gas cooker fitted - hit me up, i'm a gas man (no a bogus one!) and happy to help by Tvdevil_ (Sun 12th Jun 2022 10:41pm)
  • Lunacy shut down a while ago I know that much their texts just dried up one day There are a few places open, one was under a bridge in town for a bit but think the polis closed it If anyone knows one, PM me would like to have one to go to on a sat night too Xx by Tvdevil_ (Sun 28th Aug 2022 2:52am)
  • unfortunately the market is cooked no evictions for any reason + freeze on rents will have the opposite effect the government want for us renters landlords will build into their rent the increase to offset the fact they cant increase later + no evictions mean landlords will be insanely stringent on who they rent too and will always take the folk offering 6/12 months rent upfront over the vast majority of us it'll get worse as the number of rental properties seem to be decreasing so it'll get worse if you can get a place don't hesitate, the next person in the queue wont by Tvdevil_ (Sun 11th Sep 2022 3:47pm)

  • With boilers you do get what you pay for in terms of brands As a boiler repair man myself I'd recommend following Avoid vokeras, ravenheat, forelli etc They are made of tin essentially, cheap insides rot and leak alot earlier they have rubbish warranties as their own manufacturers don't fancy them to get past 7 years Alot of gas engineers are lazy/ crap in Glasgow unfortunately - you want a boiler that's easy to service properly. Ideal, worcester and baxis are better as all the bits and bobs that need doing yearly at the front. This is key as I say alot of engineers in Glasgow give us a bad name and do skip alot out on a service Happy to answer questions, I don't install boilers as it's back breaking 😂 so ain't biased by Tvdevil_ (Sun 30th Oct 2022 6:31pm)
  • Will need to see a few of them last a bit, vokeras reputation is in the toilet for a reason - would be nice to see a vokera on a service that wasn't falling to bits and on the verge of packing it in after a few years haha. stainless steel Hex is certainly an improvement though by Tvdevil_ (Sun 30th Oct 2022 7:25pm)
  • It's just another middle man parasite company it's owned by British gas but it's not British gas that will solve any issues all subcontracted out Tradespeople sign up, you post your job you get a quote from them The site charge a 20% mark up on any job They guarantee any repair for a year but they weasel out of it with if the original tradesperson won't go back they won't validate it - and no trades folk will ever go back to an issue that happens again in 5 months time I am on it in the trades - better to go direct to your local plumber Google it, Google reviews etc it's cheaper. by Tvdevil_ (Sun 27th Nov 2022 10:43pm)
  • British gas are not the hallmark of quality they used to be 50% of their services for boilers is subcontracted out and it can't even be called a service as it's a 10 minute job to meet their criteria for their service. The reason they helpfully told you to use local hero's is because they own it, they couldn't send anyone out personally is because they sacked most of their engineers for not taking a pay decrease as for local hero's they made 20% of the cost from the job you posted as their fee so essentially so you pay for their plan then pay more through local hero's to them because they can't attend - nice little scam they have going by Tvdevil_ (Sun 27th Nov 2022 10:48pm)
  • Despite living a good mile or so away the Clyde, my mum used to always say any boats on the Clyde at new year ring the horns at 00:00 at the bells - she was raised in Govan so did insist it used to happen when she was a kid So after the well wishes etc; she'd always go to the back door and open it and listen out, just in case she heard one, every year like a wee tradition She Passed in February this year so I'll be carrying that on when I go to back to my dad's for Hogmanay haha That and saying "Its the worst one yet" to only an excuse feel like clockwork but think that's everyone in Scotland's tradition now by Tvdevil_ (Mon 12th Dec 2022 8:18pm)
  • them working in glasgow winter is entirely dependant on what kind of house you have if you have a modern house other than larger twice the size radiators being mince to look at they'll work - as long as they arnt installed by a gas man thats done a 3 day cross over course. if you have a pre 1995 house it can be installed perfectly but way house is build its going to be expensive to run as the house itself will not be suitable the main issue with heat pumps is people getting told they are the blanket solution combined with often being installed by guys who do a few days course and throw them in they are the ultimate "get what you pay for" - to get one that works designed and installed correctly is going to cost a bomb as the experienced guys that do it right know most installers are clowns by Tvdevil_ (Tue 28th Mar 2023 8:05pm)

  • real talk though Its Calton - by most measures its one of the least desirable place to live in Glasgow even just google mapping the address you see rubbish lying around outside, its the poorest, amongst the most crime ridden, and least healthy places to live in the city you *Probably* wont get stabbed, but you almost certainly will witness zombies shuffling about out their nut, middle age folk drinking in the streets and old mattresses and couches outside the close door most weeks not to put the area down more than it is, but would try avoid it if possible by Tvdevil_ (Fri 28th Apr 2023 7:58pm)

  • from all the posts in here from software devs think its clear its time to get the CV dusted off its proven you make more when you move around jobs every few years rather than sticking in one, Loyalty means nothing to companies, id shop about, get a job offer and IF you enjoy working where you are take the job offer to the HR and ask them to match/better the salary on offer elsewhere, 50/50 they'd bump you up as if you leave they'd need to up the salary to market rate to attract applications anyway Self employed gas technician last 2 years or so, after taking a 6 month crash course in it and take home after expenses before tax is about £50k its definitely possible to live off 26k a year, but it in the next few years it'll be less and less so I think by Tvdevil_ (Sun 14th May 2023 7:16pm)
  • I think it's probably slowing down in general, cost of living, warmer weather, possible saturation of drivers, the % cut the middle men get is all contributing ordered from pepe's last night and it came to £18 quid for burger chips drink to be delivered which is insane when the meal itself was £11 - I'm cutting down because of how expensive it is I imagine others will be too by Tvdevil_ (Sun 14th May 2023 9:09pm)
  • Yeah, from here on out i'll only be going for the places with 99p deliveries or doing deals the delivery fee of 3-4 is a riddy, then the service charge is another 1-2 the real pisstake is the "marketplace fee" ive seen on one of them adding another 1-2 on by Tvdevil_ (Sun 14th May 2023 10:55pm)

  • The two old firm clubs both do a good Sunday roast at their stadiums - its well above the toby carvery low bar needs prebooking and isn't the cheapest if you don't mind a takeaway captains kitchen in east end (Tollcross) so a full Sunday roast with a giant Yorkshire on a Sunday aswell - think its £10 if you like a good quantity, and better than toby carvery quality level then boofi in Clydebank do a buffet Sunday roast as well - its a level above every other buffet in Glasgow (it has smoked spicy fish etc on some days) so its standards are higher than any other buffet and it'll leave the chain sunday roasts in the dust too. by Tvdevil_ (Thu 15th Jun 2023 10:25pm)

  • I never understood the cant blame the breed argument - certain dog breeds are designed to do certain things. sausage are bred to go down into burrows and kill small game, its bred into their nature - by your logic "cant blame the breed if a sausage dog gets into a burrow and kills a rabbit" - eh yes you can since its what the breed is designed for Bully XL's are designed to be as big, intimidating as possible and to be as dangerous as they look with the ability to rip someone to bits - which is why you can absolutely blame the breed, its been bred into them ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|joy) a few "softies" are the exception not the rule - and that's the problem by Tvdevil_ (Thu 6th Jul 2023 9:38pm)

  • Call shelter and other homeless charities, most will have their own contacts with debt reorganisation, payment plans and access to housing help, and possible help for you too for being in this situation through no fault of your own. Unfortunately by not paying she's really shot herself in the foot - housing stock is vastly outstripped by people on the waiting list so I'd reckon until debt is sorted in some way she'll be lower on the lists due to been given the chance before and messing it up If there is some actual reason for the rent not being paid such as having to pick "heat or eat", she'll be looked on more favourably by any sort of help/list in future - but if it was just not paying to try get away with it she'll find it far harder to recover from this. • Very good research - what I would say is it would be hard to tell the relationship between depravation and littering based on the current findings without going further out, The truly affluent areas around greater Glasgow are on the fringes - places like Bearsden, Giffnock, Rutherglen etc, in no way disparaging the work, its well done, but the \*truly\* affluent areas where it would be obvious if there was correlation aren't included in the scope, on the map anyway, not read the report yet I say this as Drumchapel is one of the most deprived areas in glasgow, and there is a very definitive line between it and one of the most affluent areas in the UK never mind Glasgow, we're talking 45-50k flats down the road from 350k houses. I reckon you'd get a good picture based on between those 2 areas between the most extreme examples of most deprived and most affluent loved looking at it though, will read the full report, as littering in glasgows a disgrace at the moment in general by Tvdevil_ (Sun 30th Jul 2023 12:38pm)
  • Is this in regards to the post in the Bearden and Milngavie Facebook group last night? For those who didn't see it; someone put dug jobbie bag in someone's bin in their garden whilst the owner of the bin was standing there, the bin owner got annoyed saying they didn't want it in their bin, big argument ensued and dug owner proudly posted on the community group the bin owner was a Karen etc and she had "legal rights" to put the shit in the persons bin - expected everyone to take her side and she couldn't have been more wrong lol Anyway 200 comments later literally all taking the bin owners side - turns out no one wants someone else burst dug jobby bags stinking up their bin, comments were unreal ("where do you live im taking a shite in your garden") IMO - if you bag yer dugs shit, put it in a public bin or your own bin - the same reason you don't want to put a bag of dug shit that could burst in your bin is the same reason no on else wants it in theirs by Tvdevil_ (Sun 13th Aug 2023 9:57am)

  • Glasgow is significantly more affordable than London and safer too as long as you avoid the worst parts Glasgow has 3 bed flats and houses starting around 60k up to 500k+ so you could afford 3 bed no problem providing you have at least some budget - the "best areas" to live would be generally speaking the north-west/west of the city along with some areas in the south such as Giffnock and some areas of East Kilbride but there are good and bad areas all over the city - the Scottish deprivation index site can break down individual areas within areas if you wanted to check up on specific streets but would advise; just as its a lot more affordable wages are quite a bit lower; if you are wanting to continue as a bus driver; first buses salary levels out between 30-35k if you sell your soul for the upper limit, which I assume is probably lower than London by Tvdevil_ (Mon 4th Sep 2023 7:35am)

All their articles are designed for maximum money minimum effort Estate agents will be paying to get the copy and pasted articles out, spread over 4 pages of pictures to extract as much clicking as possible for as much add space as possible Absolutely every "best burger, best pizza etc" article, they advertise a space on it for £250-500+vat 4-5 months prior (which is why you'll always question who half of them are when the list is released) Any actual news they are never first to report, its always a live video from the scene that night, or a copy and paste from slightly more reputable shitrags like the sun the biggest joke is they genuinely sit on reddit all day to make reports out of peoples posts in r/glasgow To any GL workers who will inevitably read this thinking there is an article to be had in this post - yer not a proper journo by Tvdevil_ (Wed 20th Sep 2023 11:17am)

  • or another more correct way of looking at it; a dump/ crap area gets investment, that brings cafes, shops, experiences, which lowers crime, brings in more investment, brings more tertiary experiences leading to a quality of life improvement; people now want to move in having thought it was a slum years prior this all leads to flats and houses in the area having, at times, a quite drastic rise in value so the "poor being forced out" is bollocks; the ones that sell, sell their property at far higher price than they thought possible when they moved into area and the ones that stay now live in a nicer, cleaner more attractive area improving their quality of life People honestly blast gentrification because its "cool" to, but they dont really understand what it is. saying gentrification is bad because some landlords get greedy and hike rents; guess what all landlords are greedy do people who hate gentrification want Glasgow to remain the genuine 2nd world slum it was in the 70-80s? by Tvdevil_ (Wed 20th Sep 2023 3:21pm)
