  • That is a great picture Still the best player i've ever seen. Sure, Messi has better numbers, but Maradona is the best player imo, followed by Zidane then Messi. This video ..... [**https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3JmRDznVcI8&ab\_channel=MatigolVidz**](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3JmRDznVcI8&ab_channel=MatigolVidz) by Iggmeister (Wed 25th Nov 2020 7:06pm)
  • aye, Maradonna in that whole world cup, is probably the best performance of any player ive ever seen. Zidane in 2006 (especially against Brazil) comes close mind you. That narrative we get from Sky n co, is that Messi and Ronaldo are the greatest players ever, but they arent imo - its suits the broadcasters to say that as it brings interest and viewership - but Maradonna, Zidane, Ronaldinho in his pomp and the original Ronaldo were every bit as good if not better. by Iggmeister (Thu 26th Nov 2020 2:11am)
  • Never saw Cruyff play, or Platini or Best or Pele for that matter so cant really compare. Zidane's career wasn't peaky I dont think, 1998 and 2006 world cups he was imperious - unreal for Juve and then just as good for Real. The thing as well is that the defending in Maradona's era, and Zidane's to a lesser extent was brutal, particularly in Italy - R7 is a specimen so I reckon he could have dealt with it ok, less sure about Messi. If Maradona played in this era, no tackles from behind etc etc, OMG it would be a beautiful sight. by Iggmeister (Fri 27th Nov 2020 2:03am)
  • TBh tho, arguing between Messi and Maradonna and R7 and Zidane is a discussion that could last forever - all are/were amazing, and are in the absolute elite echelon of players. But, I reckon if we polled 1000 Argentinians, Messi vs Maradona, it would poll heavily in Maradona's side. by Iggmeister (Fri 27th Nov 2020 2:05am)

  • Well, from an insurance perspective, u may need to arrange trace and access with ur insurer. If there's no obvious sign of a leak coming from the property upstairs, the onus falls on you to evidence where the leak is coming from. The bad news is, even if the leak originates from ur neighbours property, any damage done to ur property isnt covered by ur neighbours insurance (unless u can evidence that ur neighbour has been negligent - which is almost impossible to prove). So, in essence, you will need to submit s claim to ur insurer. Technically, even if u dont claim, u still need to notify them of the incident. by Iggmeister (Sun 27th Dec 2020 2:22pm)

  • It's not a word, its an abbreviation. 'O.k', at any point of a sentence is incorrect. Like I said in my last reply, if you are going to be a pedantic pest criticising others on forums on how they speak/type, then you should make sure you can do it properly yourself, otherwise u look like a fool. by Iggmeister (Mon 4th Jan 2021 2:12pm)

Sometimes though, even if not a pre arranged walk, I take her to a play/swing park, and she kind of just joins in with other kids on the slides etc Maybe just get them out to the swing park often and see how they get on - the more they get out the more comfy they will get on with other kids Hope you all get on well. by Iggmeister (Tue 2nd Feb 2021 2:35pm)

  • Lived and worked in Glasgow for 30+ years, studied at Uni there too - that report isn't representative of my own observations/experiences. Has it suddenly become a racist city? Sectarianism exists of course, as I'm sure we are all aware, but I've never considered Glasgow as having a Racism issue - maybe times have changed. by Iggmeister (Thu 18th Feb 2021 9:32am)

  • The UK is a fascist state? I'm fascist? I think you need to educate yourself my friend. Delusion is dangerous. *'system of government marked by centralization of authority under a dictator, a capitalist economy subject to stringent governmental controls, violent suppression of the opposition, and typically a policy of belligerent nationalism and racism.'* Dictator - nope Stringent Govt controls over economy - nope Violent suppression of opposition - nope Belligerent of nationalism - maybe Belligerent of racism - nope (Chancellor is of South Asian ethnicity, as is the Home Secretary, so definitely not a racist government) I'd say that the UK is the polar opposite of being a fascist state, but, we do have law and order, which is enforced, and I understand and respect if you disagree with some laws and methods - but fascism, absolutely not my friend. by Iggmeister (Thu 13th May 2021 2:07pm)

  • It sounds like you've been very unlucky tbh, given the pandemic and how much of a hot potato immigration is at the moment - and any kind of delays/restrictions on immigration I'm certain haven't been put in place with US citizens in mind - but I suppose everyone has to be treated the same. Good luck. by Iggmeister (Fri 14th May 2021 12:42pm)

Cant remember the details exactly, but he was a horrendous husband in terms of abuse etc (as you can imagine) and she effectively had to go into shelter to get away from him, before his killings came to light - even with this, she gives him an alibi for the bible john killings, and I believe they were living in England at the time too by Iggmeister (Sat 17th Jul 2021 9:03pm)

  • Yeah that makes a lot of sense re the DNA, am obviously not an expert, just regurgitating what I've read in the past. After I made that post, I read that the alibi his ex wife gave him for one of the killings was that they were on Honeymoon at the time. That's from a woman who presumably hates him and who suffered strangulations and a knife attack from him. That's a really strong alibi, but its almost too strong and too coincidental that it actually makes me suspicious of it. by Iggmeister (Sun 18th Jul 2021 1:24pm)

I told you to grow up once, I havent 'kept telling' you to grow up. The way you carry a conversation, with the 'shut up' et al reminds me of a spoiled 9 year old yes, so I pointed it out. What has happened in your life that you are so unable to handle a grown up conversation, that may contain even a smidge of criticism. I pointed out that you were being a twat to me and others on the sub because, god forbid, we made a comment that didnt form part of the needy self affirming answer you were seeking, which god forbid, u perceived as being negative. • definitely not a new trend definitely a new focus on it though Glasgow has, and still is, worst affected by heroin and Valium rather than Cocaine, and this is reflected in the actual overdose/mortality figures. I'm not saying cocaine isnt a problem, in fact it certainly is, but Valium and Heroin are the drugs that kill, and have been killing since the 80's. Recent studies (samples taken from sewage in a city) show that Glasgow's use of cocaine is actually lower than a lot of UK cities such as Bristol and London Also, its Vice. The only coverage they have given Glasgow is that there is a booze problem, or a heroin problem, or a valium problem and now a cocaine problem. Glasgow is about an awful lot more than drugs, but if you are not from Glasgow, and watch Vice, you would think we we all living in crack dens and had no teeth, no job, and just shoplifted to sustain ourselves. Breaking this image portrayed upon Glasgow by people not from Glasgow, is just as important as helping people that need help from heroin, valium, or even cocaine. I would also suggest that homelessness is a far bigger problem in our city just now that cocaine use (admittedly drug use contributes to that). Appreciate some of you will disagree, so will add, I respect you and your opinion if you do. by Iggmeister (Mon 4th Jul 2022 4:19pm)
  • Well, that would be genuinely amazing. I've worked in the city centre for 20 years up until covid, and the 'problem' in the last 3 years or so before Covid was just horrendous and seemingly getting worse each month and year. WFH for 3 years or so now, so haven't had that recent anecdotal experience I suppose. Great new though. by Iggmeister (Mon 4th Jul 2022 8:23pm)
  • I think the op is expressing his surprise, that for the most part, we are all sound as fuck up here. Why is he surprised though? Because, every thing you watch online, or read etc about Glasgow is that we are all junkie drunken violent uneducated shoplifting sectarian fucks. When in actual fact, contrary to what every one says about us, we are friendly and funny as fuck. We have our fair share of maniacs though, but so does every UK city. I've lived in London and Manchester. You couldn't pay me to go live in either of those two towns again vs Glasgow. by Iggmeister (Sat 9th Jul 2022 6:19pm)

Other times I've accepted a wrong order, and had an absolute nightmare getting my money back Long story short, if the order is wrong, or substandard, or if like me you've seen a manky delivery guy with his paws actually in ur food, then refuse the order, but treat the delivery guy with respect. • yes, but we can all agree that the responsibility doesn't lie with the paying customer (of which we all are at some point) to accept incorrect orders (regardless of who is at fault) and then struggle ridiculously to get a refund from Uber or Deliveroo or the Merchant. Ive had two instances where I accepted a wrong order, and had a genuine nightmare getting my money back (one took 2 weeks, the other an almost 2 hour phone call) - whereas if the order is refused at door, deliveroo or uber mark as undelivered and the refund is automatic. by Iggmeister (Thu 14th Jul 2022 12:12pm)

  • I understand all of that, and empathise. My mum had a similar experience some 20 years ago relating to a routine gall bladder operation that went wrong, with 4 further operations to follow, a 6 month stay in hospital, and almost death. The care was horrendous then (i could literally write out pages and pages of failings relating to this matter), which also included contracting MRSA twice, and an operation that had a 50/50 survival rate, where we the family were left in a waiting room for 9 hours without any word, fearing the worst, but the op had finished after 4 hours and no one bothered to tell us. My Mum, was a midwife for 20 years before that experience, and the shocking thing is, she wasnt surprised. My mum is now elderly, has numerous health problems, was a midwife for over 20 years (her place of work was in a hospital), and due to her experiences as a patient in petrified now of hospitals. As a family, we have since had 2 other instances of terrible care. Appreciate others receive excellent care, but our experience on the 3 times our family has needed care has been horrendous. I now pay for private care, my wife gets private care through her employer. I suppose my point is, present demands doesn't account for the terrible provision of care that has existed now for decades. I'm sure present demands exacerbate those though. Again though, I will say that I understand others experiences will be positive. I also support that there should be an NHS, but care wise, it needs a massive overhaul. by Iggmeister (Thu 11th Aug 2022 8:41pm)

And if ur inclined to reply that you have it once a week when your hubby gets a fish supper, dont. You dont eat that shite, and u know it. • if plastic is the main concern, then there are literally a thousand other things, that we all use, that are far more impactful in that regard, lets be honest. by Iggmeister (Thu 16th Mar 2023 8:32am)
  • generally approve, but there should be allowances made in some circumstances my mum is elderly, has lost dexterity in her hands, and vapes as a substitute for smoking. single use vapes are really her only option as she cant use 'normal' vapes in terms of refilling the tanks, replacing and charging batteries etc. but agree something needs to be done to prevent kids accessing them, obviously. by Iggmeister (Thu 16th Mar 2023 8:30am)
  • Public Health England conducted a study, and the findings are that vaping is generally 95% 'less harmful than smoking. This is a published study, can be found in the Lancet, and on the NHS website. Popcorn lung seems to have been caused by Diacetyl which was found in earlier vape 'juices' Diacetyl is now banned in the UK for vape products. The Pneumothorax/collapsed lung problem is related to THC vape products where Vitamin E (for some odd reason) was added - as I understand it the Vitamin E reacted terribly to be ingested that way, causing a spate of collapsed lungs, and even some deaths. All of the adverse conditions you've listed above are far far far far more common from tobacco than vaping. There hasn't been a single recorded death world wide where nicotine based vaping is considered as a contributing factor. Annually, the WHO says that there are 8 Million deaths worldwide where tobacco is the cause or contributing factor. Based on what we do know right now, vaping is certainly far safer than tobacco, and with that, should be given serious consideration as a smoking cessation tool. But what point am I making here? The point is that while we seem to be getting fixated on banning/prohibiting vaping, but currently we are far less fixated on smoking tobacco - and that is just weird to me. by Iggmeister (Thu 16th Mar 2023 8:54am)
  • i think you've misinterpreted me. the person I had responded to reduced the argument to just being about plastic. i pointed out that if plastic was the only concern with these things, then we should be focusing on other things. so we basically have the same point of view it seems, the issue with these isnt the plastic aspect solely. Nor, the battery aspect alone. If we were so genuinely concerned about how bad batteries are for the environment, we wouldnt use mobile phones (as an example) given how atrocious for the environment the batteries used in those are. certainly more impactful than single use vapes in that respect. cumulatively, single use vapes are pretty bad though, no argument. I do find peoples reasoning for advocating a ban funny sometimes though. 'The batteries are bad for the environment' typed into Reddit via a mobile phone, or 'they use too much plastic' written after having just had a McDonalds for lunch etc etc. I'd favour a ban of single use vapes, with medical concessions allowed where they would demonstrably be used as a smoking cessation tool, available only through a chemists for example. edit - also, generally, I'm not a fan of prohibition. by Iggmeister (Thu 16th Mar 2023 9:51am)
  • ' Yes, some kids vape. But not as many that used to smoke when I was younger. I'd much rather kids vaping than smoking. ' Yeah, I've commented this on similar posts in the past, to much incredulity from others. But, aborting at 24 weeks as an option due to convenience when the mother or child isnt at risk doesn't sit right with me. appreciate this wont be a popular opinion, but it is an important topic and is important to discuss it. by Iggmeister (Fri 21st Apr 2023 7:15pm)

  • why is it an option and legal to do so up to 24 weeks then? as a father, I understand pregnancy and birth have profound affects on women. But, whether you agree with it or not, it is legal, and an option, to abort up to 24 weeks in the UK without there being a medical reason for doing so, as long as the mother/patient has the ok from 2 doctors It is that that I am uncomfortable with. For me, letting a child develop to 24 weeks, and then there being the option to abort without medical conditions at play is too long. its a shame that you ended your comment with an insult. Its an important topic, and ideally mature a responsible people should be able to discuss it without throwing insults at the first available opportunity. For me it demonstrates an insecurity in oneself, one which I hope you can over come. wish you all the best. by Iggmeister (Fri 21st Apr 2023 9:56pm)
  • Kinda sexist .... Thankfully, as men (along with women) are among the most qualified medical professionals and lawmakers/politicians, men can and do have legislative control over a matter like this, along with women. You have data you can show that demonstrates '0% of choice abortions take place after 13 weeks'? The govt's data suggests otherwise. [https://www.gov.uk/government/statistics/abortion-statistics-for-england-and-wales-2021/abortion-statistics-england-and-wales-2021](https://www.gov.uk/government/statistics/abortion-statistics-for-england-and-wales-2021/abortion-statistics-england-and-wales-2021) So yeah, if ur argument is that the 24 week period is applicable as it allows anomalies to be confirmed from gender scans, well, when anomalies are confirmed then abortion should be permitted. In fact, in such circumstances we currently allow abortion OVER the 24 week timescale. But, if no anomalies are found, and baby and mum are healthy, then aborting at 24 weeks is wrong imho. your argument is to allow abortion of healthy babies at 24 weeks so that it allows us to identify anomalies doesnt make sense. We can still identify those anomalies fine without aborting healthy babies at 24 weeks. I mean, I'm sure I dont need to tell you what a baby looks like on a scan at 6 months. Thats what we are talking about. 24 weeks is just a week or so short of 6months - thats too developed. Thats a child. by Iggmeister (Fri 21st Apr 2023 10:55pm)

  • if you actually believe debate here re abortion started with the evangelical Christian movement in the USA then you are beyond clueless. debate here was happening way before the legislation was introduced in 1967, and beyond. we have had our own share of Christian and religious movements, and as i'm sure someone with your gargantuan intellect doesn't need reminding, the Catholic church was absolutely against the introduction of the legislation in 1967, protested post legislation, and continues to do so. Its unbelievably dumb to me, and insulting to Scots and Brits, to see someone even suggest that its only because of some retarded US Church that people can somehow dislike aspects of UK legislation - its completely fking moronic on your part mate not that its any of ur business, but for the sake of clarity, I am Atheist. I am not influenced by morons in the US, or British religious morons for that matter. Aborting children at 6months, for reasons that arent medical, doesnt sit right with me. Children are very developed at 6 months. Thats MY OPINION on this very important topic. Do you understand that? Its my opinion. I am certain ur opinion differs. But guess what, thats ok. What should also be ok is that we can discuss it without flinging abject insults and slurs at the first available opportunity unlike ur good self. Cant stand people who interject or start interactions with insults, its utterly pathetic mate. by Iggmeister (Sat 22nd Apr 2023 6:00pm)
  • heres the actual statistics, despite what 'ive been told' by the experts on Reddit [https://www.gov.uk/government/statistics/abortion-statistics-for-england-and-wales-2021/abortion-statistics-england-and-wales-2021](https://www.gov.uk/government/statistics/abortion-statistics-for-england-and-wales-2021/abortion-statistics-england-and-wales-2021) abortion at 20 weeks plus is common, as you can see from the gestation stats on the linked page. *Nowhere did I say that the anti-abortion movement started in the US or with the evangelicals. I stated that the concept of outlawing abortion in the late stages based on the idea that it is a common occurrence is very well known rhetoric of that movement.* Liar! U said nothing of the sort. Go back and read ur comment. But also, late stage abortion debate didnt start with the evangelicals in the USA, so again, even your revised drivel is still just drivel. I dont think my opinion is 'gold'. I know my opinion matters though. I know ur opinion matters as well. I know wee Davey from Duke Streets opinion matters as well. And i absolutely know that suppressing, or trying to suppress others opinions because they differ your own, is very damaging and dangerous. Almost Maoist. Have you read 1984? I have. My opinion differs from yours. Thats ok. Can it be discussed without insults and put downs though? Thats the question. by Iggmeister (Sat 22nd Apr 2023 6:30pm)

  • well, just build housing instead of Hotels. The problem isnt that there are too few hotels in Glasgow, the problem is that there isnt enough housing/apartments. Building more Hotels is not a fix to the problem you describe, more (affordable) housing is. Ultimately, who benefits from more Hotels? The companies that own said Hotels. Who benefits from more housing, we do. Besides, there is Hotel rooms aplenty in central Glasgow, especially at the transport nodes. So nah, no more Hotels please - doesnt fix a thing, especially long term. It could maybe be a temporary measure to ease pressure on housing, but it absolutely is not a fix. by Iggmeister (Fri 26th May 2023 10:57pm)
  • Its not an instruction nor a request, unless by virtue of an incredible slice of fortune I'm speaking with the owner of the property we are discussing. And tbh, you are getting into practicalities that neither of us are probably fully quipped to make assertions about. But, your argument, such as it is, seems to be, 'well, that landowner will benefit more from Hotels than flats/apartments, so there's no point even discussing what's best'. I mean, ok, if that how you feel, thats fine I suppose. Its a bit pessimistic though. But, as this thread thus far has been about what would be best for Glasgow (in that space) and as housing is specifically mentioned in the article that we are discussing, I'm fairly comfortable that housing is certainly an option and that it would absolutely benefit us more than another soulless Hotel, of which we have plenty already. Like I said, we need housing, not Hotels - is it doable in that space, who knows? by Iggmeister (Fri 26th May 2023 11:38pm)

  • urgh, the snobbery of that statement is bile enducing. take 60,000 random Glaswegians on a Saturday night out, put them in a confined space such as the Gallowgate and then watch what happens ... You will certainly see more unrest, violence and disorder than was witnessed last night, markedly so. by Iggmeister (Sun 28th May 2023 7:34pm)

  • no, most football fans dont u understand the 'disorder' from last night pales to insignificance compared with organised and licensed gatherings of similar size such as Transmit etc. Do most music fans thin festivals are pathetic? by Iggmeister (Sun 28th May 2023 7:44pm)
  • More violence, drugs, deaths (drug related obviously), litter and general disorder at music festivals such as Transmit or TITP ..... but thats ok, or is preferable, because they have to pay an entrance fee. Cool mate. You clearly have an agenda, and tbh, that's ok, at least be honest about it. by Iggmeister (Sun 28th May 2023 7:42pm)
  • you've never been to a festival i see plus, absolutely nothing got trashed last night, stop being so horribly over dramatic. I walked down Gallowgate earlier on, and you wouldnt even know anyone had been there last night - get a grip of yersel Hector. by Iggmeister (Sun 28th May 2023 7:49pm)
  • aye, thats what happens at EVERY gathering of large amounts of people, be it related to music, football, politics etc etc - it gets cleaned up the day after as for, just put it in a bin, well aye, that would be possible if there is enough bins to accommodate that - but even then the shitty council wouldnt empty them for 3 weeks ur literally frothing at the mouth over something that is of absolute minimal impact comparatively to almost the entirety of Glasgow. I'm sorry ur train got delayed, but shit happens, deal with it. by Iggmeister (Sun 28th May 2023 7:59pm)
  • 46 arrests at transmit last year, 26 the year before. And, policing at Transmit have a very clear approach of not arresting for drug possession - they confiscate and send u on yer way. They arrest when they have no other option. Policing costs at Transmit are huge also. 10 arrests yesterday [https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/news/scottish-news/41-arrests-made-at-trnsmt-24973670](https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/news/scottish-news/41-arrests-made-at-trnsmt-24973670) by Iggmeister (Sun 28th May 2023 8:04pm)
  • >I didn't give a shit about the train being delayed, then why moan about - christ above by Iggmeister (Sun 28th May 2023 8:09pm)
  • Its not comparable at all - are you conveniently omitting the fact that on top of the arrests, last year 160+ people were reported to the PF for drug offenses at TRNSMT? How many were hospitalised for drug or alcohol misuse? What was the cost to process 41 arrests and 160+ PF reports through the police, PF office and courts? And then compare that with 10 arrests and one hospitalisation from yesterday .... So yeah, it doesn't compare in terms of public disorder, public cost, at all. I'm not against festivals, have been to plenty. I am against agenda based hypocrites who are all too eager to froth at the mouth over yesterdays gathering, yet blissfully balk at the suggestion that other gatherings of similar size and locale are far more impactful in terms of crime and disorder and cost. And here's the thing, even if these other gatherings arent more impactful (which they are) and are just of similar impact, it still makes you a hypocrite. And as your argument seems to be, well they are comparable in terms of impact, ur argument (such as it is) reinforces my point. by Iggmeister (Sun 28th May 2023 8:45pm)

  • In the park near mines a couple of days ago, my 9 yr old daughter was 50 yards in front of me on her bike while I was walking. A bulldog that I hadnt seen ran from the side right up to her, gave her a good sniff, then ran away. Nothing happened obviously, but to me that's dangerous af, very alarming, and other than not allowing my daughter out of the house, theres nothing i can do to prevent this is there? The dogs owner was a 50 plus lady, the dog wasnt on a leash, and had no muzzle, and when the dog was running to my daughter she called on it to stop and it didnt - ie the dog had no recall training. On the same walk/cycle round the park, a Rottweiler the size of a fking Megalodon was off leash, no muzzle, and running around as it pleased - owner/walker again was a lady, younger, and quiet slight. What is wrong with these people - these dogs (Rottweiler less so) are extremely dangerous and kill people. BTW, i'm not certain the bulldog was an American Bully, it almost looked like a cross between an American Bully and a traditional British Bulldog - but it was a big muscular powerful dog and would have done serious damage had it wanted to. This list below makes for sombre reading concerning American Bully's , horrific actually [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List\_of\_fatal\_dog\_attacks\_in\_the\_United\_Kingdom](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_fatal_dog_attacks_in_the_United_Kingdom) by Iggmeister (Thu 6th Jul 2023 9:34pm)

  • my reading comprehension? I'm waiting to read ur argument, can u comprehend that? whats ur argument then hector? Give me it. Explain to me, with consideration given to the list i sent you, why the American Bully XL isnt a dangerous breed. I'll be here for a while, cannot wait. But, I think we both know that dogs are bred for specific purposes, which results in different breeds having different traits - such as aggressiveness etc. Then, if we take the data we have (that data being that 8 out of 10 fatal dog attacks in the past 5 years have been American Bully attacks) we can reasonably conclude that American Bully's are dangerous and that you are clueless. by Iggmeister (Thu 6th Jul 2023 10:37pm)
  • garbage - dogs are bred for specific purposes such as fighting, guarding etc etc - and certain breeds are inherently aggressive specifically as a result of their breeding. as an example, 'Pit' dogs were bred to fight, and are naturally aggressive. by Iggmeister (Thu 6th Jul 2023 10:48pm)

  • thats the one aye by Iggmeister (Thu 6th Jul 2023 11:07pm)
  • yeah, this i think is the point exactly. these dogs are uncontrollable in a physical sense if they decide to attack i had one instance recently where one ran up to my 9 yr old daughter when we were out at a park. It just had a sniff, then jogged off. But, had its intentions been to cause harm, there would be very little i could do to prevent it. I'm 6 foot and 15 stone, and i couldnt have controlled it The dogs owner/walker was a lady, over 50 years of age, and she certainly wouldnt have been able to control it. She shouted at it to stop as it approached my daughter and it ignored her, and as such, the dog had no recall training. by Iggmeister (Fri 7th Jul 2023 12:42am)

  • rofl - its not a 'belief' mate. What a weird thing to say Your study is of zero interest to me in the context of this discussion that specifically relates to American Bully XL's and the facts that there have been a horrible number of fatal attacks by them in the past 5 years in the UK Again, I ask you, to tell me why the American Bully XL shouldnt be considered a dangerous breed, especially with consideration given to the link I gave you showing fatal dog attacks in the UK. by Iggmeister (Fri 7th Jul 2023 2:13am)

  • with consideration given to the data in the link below, why, should the American Bully XL not be considered a dangerous breed? Its a really simple question mate. you've got this!! • ragin ate ? by Iggmeister (Fri 7th Jul 2023 2:59am)
  • aye, bulldogs were specifically bred for a bloodsport (Bull baiting) - then we mix them with Mastiffs or Cane Corso's so that they are bigger and stronger etc 😒 by Iggmeister (Fri 7th Jul 2023 3:12am)
  • aye, enforcement is the issue probably - and agree it is probably an unnecessary hassle for 99% of dog owners. But these past few years Theres been far too much of an increase of sharks on a leash (stolen from Billy Connelly) owned by clueless fuckwits. if the media is to be believed, and sites like wiki, dog attacks have risen a lot, fatal attacks have also risen, and the Bully XL is largely responsible for the fatal attacks - so i think something has to be done at this point tbh. by Iggmeister (Fri 7th Jul 2023 3:20am)
  • no, i think specific dog breeds are more dangerous than other due to their breeding it really is as simple as that lets not over complicate matters for you, keep it simple eh. by Iggmeister (Fri 7th Jul 2023 11:03am)
  • clueless bot by Iggmeister (Fri 7th Jul 2023 11:01am)
  • the issue is the size and power tbh. its a very dumbed down thing for me to compare a jack Russel and an XL Bully, I'll admit. but the point remains, a dog of that size and power is dangerous solely because of that tbh, before I had my kids, i didnt give this topic a second thought. now when i see these dogs up close, and they are literally at the height of my eldest's shoulders, its quite scary for my kids. i need to regulate when they can go into the park near us because i know potentially dangerous dogs are off leash and that a few of them have irresponsible, or at least naïve, owners. by Iggmeister (Fri 7th Jul 2023 11:08am)

  • ffs, calm down OP A grown man makes a post about getting 'attacked' by two primary school kids, and he takes some stick for it. He wasnt in any danger, obviously, and it was one hell of a 'poor me' post - so yeah, some banter ensued. As for your attempt to scold an entire city - thats even fucking worse. by Iggmeister (Sat 26th Aug 2023 3:49pm)

  • result! just cuttin about on here with envy aye? by Iggmeister (Sun 27th Aug 2023 2:40pm)
  • No, we are in Town just now, both good schools - especially the secondary. So the idea is to let the kids get into High School, and then move (so that we dont lose catchment) and then transport from EK to the school. Moving to EK before the kids go to high school probably means we would lose current high school catchment but dont want them to lose that and also their friends. by Iggmeister (Sun 27th Aug 2023 3:24pm)

  • lol, why so butthurt? Theres a couple thousand nasty neo nazi football supporters in town today, They've been video'd already cutting about town giving the nazi salutes at St Enoch Centre After the game, the police will be shepherding them from Parkhead to designated areas of town away from other supporters - there will absolutely be police ready in the city centre for them and at transport hubs (like Anderston) - its what happens often when nasty cunts are town. Its what happened when Ajax (equally nasty cunts) were here a few seasons ago. Its what happened when England were up a couple of weeks ago The police are actually really good at dealing with these fuckers, and much of that is controlling transport hubs or setting up pre determined areas away from the ground and city centre to take them to chill out mate by Iggmeister (Wed 4th Oct 2023 11:06pm)

  • what 20 years ago? and half the population of Gaza is under the age of 18? And even more would have been too young to vote back then. So maybe 25% of current population voted back then. meaning what 17% of current Gaza population actually voted for Hamas so me 20 odd years ago? Add in that Hamas is oppressive towards people in Gaza in a 'vote for us or we kill ur family' kind of way ..... Besides, why would Palestinians be angry with certain Israeli policies - see link below - btw, nothing gorey/disturbing or violent in the link [https://www.reddit.com/r/therewasanattempt/comments/177jt8g/to\_justify\_stealing\_a\_house/](https://www.reddit.com/r/therewasanattempt/comments/177jt8g/to_justify_stealing_a_house/) What Hamas did is disgusting, but using an election 20 years ago to justify the persecution and murder of civilians is not cool my man. by Iggmeister (Sat 14th Oct 2023 10:33pm)

  • What are u talking about - no one voted for the IRA in Northern Ireland - they were paramilitary, not political Also, u mean Northern Ireland? Not Ireland. by Iggmeister (Tue 17th Oct 2023 7:28pm)
  • Iran created Hamas (and Hezbollah), at least their modern version, with help from Egypt/Muslim Brotherhood. Hamas initially wanted to be a political entity, filling the void left by Aarafat, but progressed to being very militant with Jihad as their ultimate aim. Their policy towards Israel mirrors that of Iran. Iran funds and arms Hamas and Qatar funds Hamas also, as do other Middle Eastern states and individuals, but to a lesser extent - Hamas isnt funded by Palestinians. To use ur dumb analogy from earlier, the IRA wasnt propped up by the Irish only, their arms mostly came from Libya and funding mostly from the USA. Hamas acts in the interests of Iran and acts when Iran tells them to. Less than 80% of the current Palestinian population voted when there was last a 'vote' in Gaza Hamas' recent attacks coincided with the Saudi 'normalisation' talks with Israel, which was really bad news for Iran if the talks were successful - and as a direct result of the attacks, Saudi Arabia has withdrawn form the talks - this was the aim of the recent Hamas attack, and it worked - this recent attack was for the interests of Iran, not Palestine/Gaza - as is so clearly evidenced by what is now happening in Gaza You've managed to take a very complicated issue and apply a 5 years olds reasoning to it so that you can try and understand it for yourself. If you dont understand the distinction between ordinary Palestinians and Hamas, then you are either extremely biased or of limited IQ. Go annoy someone else now please. • a war is very rarely between two sides of 'equal footing' - why would you think that? by Iggmeister (Mon 23rd Oct 2023 12:37pm)
  • By 'both sides' he is referencing Israel and Hamas, not Israel and Palestine Hamas is every bit as bad as Israel/IDF, if not worse. Their stated goal is the destruction of Israel. They act at the behest of, and in the interest of, Iran - not Palestine. If given half a chance, Hamas would genocide Israel, no question about it So the question is, do you support Hamas and their stated goal of the obliteration and genocide of Israel? ie, Do **you** support a Genocide? by Iggmeister (Mon 23rd Oct 2023 12:34pm)
  • Why didnt you answer my question? You are asking everyone else that question except yourself it seems Do you condemn Hamas and their stated intention to destroy/genocide Israel? by Iggmeister (Mon 23rd Oct 2023 1:26pm)
  • I'm not ur mate. And, I'll take that as a 'no', you wont condemn Hamas, and by virtue of that you advocate their stated policy to genocide/destroy Israel That, I'm afraid, makes you a disgusting hypocrite. by Iggmeister (Mon 23rd Oct 2023 1:31pm)

Still a disgusting hypocrite then aye? by Iggmeister (Mon 23rd Oct 2023 2:30pm)
  • Ur not the sharpest tool in the box lol. when have i defended anything in this thread/discussion? I have though, pointed out that ur a disgusting hypocrite, so eager to impress upon others that they support a genocide, when u would happily see that happen to Israel. I have to laugh, cos idiots like you are a part of the problem, not a part of the solution. Still no condemnation of Hamas? How many opportunities do you need? Hamas advocates a policy to destroy/genocide Israel. Do you support that policy? Just answer, go on, u can do it. Its really not difficult. by Iggmeister (Mon 23rd Oct 2023 2:42pm)
