  • > I won't get my deposit back if I will stay less than 6 months (it's in the contract). I don't think that's legal. > I suppose she didn't transfer my deposit money to deposit scheme That's definitely not. Jackpot. You'll be awarded 3 times the deposit in an open and shut court case. I had to take a landlord to court for the same reason before - the day before the court case they settled for the full amount (3 x the original deposit). Speak to a solicitor if possible, but at least write to the landlord and advise her that you'll be taking action regarding the deposit (and possibly the illegal 6 month contract - but double check that first). It'll probably scare her into giving you your full deposit back at least, even if you can't be arsed going all the way with court etc. Only other advice I'd have would be move out asap. A shitty landlord will always be shit, best to get away from them. Especially one who, as this lady seems to be, is a liar. by JohnKnonce (Tue 14th Apr 2020 8:36am)
  • Fair enough, I stand corrected. I took it as fact because my solicitor said so, and the landlord paid that amount without actually going to court. That was a few years back though. by JohnKnonce (Tue 14th Apr 2020 11:58am)
  • Fair enough for families with young kids, but everyone else needs to just get a grip. I've not got a garden, I'm in a third storey tenement flat. I'm not going to die, I'm not even going to come to any harm whatsoever by not sunbathing. I've got windows, I'll open them and make do. I'll support yer garden-less bonus though. by JohnKnonce (Mon 20th Apr 2020 1:10pm)
  • You've never been in the park in the summer? by JohnKnonce (Mon 20th Apr 2020 1:15pm)
  • Read back through your comments now you're sober. Hopefully you'll realise this isn't true > I'm getting heavily downvoted for even suggesting that it might be ok to go outside if you're not going close to anyone by JohnKnonce (Mon 20th Apr 2020 1:20pm)
  • Wondering what the folk who were giving it big licks about wearing face masks outside a medical setting being a bad idea, even claiming they made the spread worse, are saying to it now that we're going to be advised to wear masks in public? Cannae mind the username but there was one in particular starting with a P giving it laldy as if he knew best because he works in a hospital and that's what he'd been told, not accepting that he might well have been told rubbish and not accepting the obvious reasons why a face mask is beneficial to stop the spread of a virus spread by coughing. Seems you were told rubbish my man. by JohnKnonce (Thu 23rd Apr 2020 7:25pm)

  • I read it and thought why would you phone the police? Everyone's in the hoose anyway, let the guy have a wee scuddy run with his guitar if he likes. On ye go Martin. by JohnKnonce (Tue 28th Apr 2020 1:45pm)

  • Aye, Highland Games are famously attended by fascists. Haha, whit? by JohnKnonce (Wed 29th Apr 2020 10:59am)
  • Look at what you're doing here. The guy's a prick to you because you're going to visit your granny despite the rest of us having to abide by the lockdown rules - you shout he's doing it when you're just trying to make someone happy. He then points out that making someone happy isn't a valid excuse at all and you start whinging about name calling. Acting like calling you names on the internet is the real wrong here and not your stupid idea of getting a taxi driver to drive 3 of you over to your grans. A taxi driver out taking risks to drive people on essential journeys. He was being a cunt to you, but you've deserved it. Especially with that just trying to make someone happy pish. We're all struggling my man, deal with it like the rest of us. Teach yer granny how to install zoom or something. by JohnKnonce (Thu 30th Apr 2020 8:30am)
  • Mate, you asked about making a special exception to the lockdown rules specially for you, your 2 family members, and your gran. Hopefully you were pished when you made this thread because you've had shocker after shocker here. The initial query isn't too bad but the way you've taken the responses is embarrassing. by JohnKnonce (Thu 30th Apr 2020 8:41am)
  • He changed the tag on you lol. by JohnKnonce (Thu 30th Apr 2020 9:39am)
  • They weren't abusing you for fuck all. They were abusing you for good reason. If your first response had been "aye right enough I'm being stupid here" you wouldn't have got comment after comment calling you all the idiots. But when I read the thread it looked like you were still planning to get a taxi to your grans. Hope you've came to your senses this morning. by JohnKnonce (Thu 30th Apr 2020 9:40am)
  • If you're acting like a prick and an idiot, and attempting to do idiot prick stuff, then it's fair for people to call you an idiot and a prick. Like I said if you'd replied "aye sorry of course that's a stupid idea" you wouldn't have got the abuse, but you didn't. You kept doubling down on it, tbh I think this whole thing might be a troll. I can't really believe you didn't know the reaction you'd get. This thread all makes a lot of sense in the context of a wee boy wanting to see his gran, not really understanding *why* people are saying no, and getting upset at being called names. If that was the story then fair enough and folk would have been a bit harsh in calling a wee boy all the idiots but you mentioned your son. So you're old enough to know better and you're old enough to take some bad names on the chin without pretending to be all hurt by it. by JohnKnonce (Thu 30th Apr 2020 9:57am)
  • I cannae believe somebody's da is this bothered about some Reddit pish. by JohnKnonce (Thu 30th Apr 2020 10:28am)
  • Whit???? It's no "da patter". I'm simply saying that you claim to have a child yet you're acting like this and I find it unbelievable. Either this whole thing is a windup, which isnae funny so get to fuck with it, or you're a disaster. The initial question was fair enough, if a little stupid/naive, but the way you've acted since has been like a petulant teenager at best. Even look at where you're acting all arsey with "I'll bring her food then" like a stupid wee boy who's found a loophole when his maws grounded him. If you really are someone's da then you need to have a word with yourself. by JohnKnonce (Thu 30th Apr 2020 10:41am)
  • Probably more a no change to normal procedures thing. The driver didn't open all the doors before so he doesn't now, they've maybe just not considered it or thought what difference does pressing a button make when you're about to sit in a wee tube full of folk. by JohnKnonce (Sun 3rd May 2020 2:39pm)
  • Wearing masks doesn't help you, you need other people to wear them. If I wear a mask it helps reduce the chance I'll spread it to you, it doesn't really help reduce the chance of me getting it. Making a point of not touching your face doesn't help if someone on the train sneezes or coughs. That's why they should be wearing a mask, but unless it's law I doubt most people will. by JohnKnonce (Sun 3rd May 2020 2:52pm)
  • At 50% capacity it would be near impossible to maintain any form of social distancing, especially this 2m thing. Consider the size of a train carriage. by JohnKnonce (Sun 3rd May 2020 2:55pm)
  • But by the time most people are back at work you will be squeezed into a train even if it's not quite 125% capacity. A reduction to 100% capacity would be a large reduction in numbers. 100% capacity is a packed train. I'll be walking from Shawlands to the city centre from now on, but I'll be stuck on a train after that. by JohnKnonce (Sun 3rd May 2020 3:33pm)
  • Same. On the surface it sounds like a good idea but scratch it a wee bit and it's not something I'll be putting on my phone. by JohnKnonce (Tue 5th May 2020 1:14pm)
  • Just do it on the fly. Asking about it is just inviting people to shout at you. Noone will notice if you go and have a sneaky couple cans somewhere, you don't need to draw attention to it here. by JohnKnonce (Fri 8th May 2020 11:31am)
  • This isn't "street art". by JohnKnonce (Sat 9th May 2020 11:53am)
  • Aye but you'd be a lot less likely to wonder why they don't seem to be doing the old social distancing. by JohnKnonce (Sat 9th May 2020 5:15pm)
  • Tbh mate I'd be fairly surprised if you don't get another 12 week shielding letter. If they were too feart to let us out the past couple months then not much has really changed. With furlough extended to October, I expect this shielding thing to be the same. by JohnKnonce (Thu 14th May 2020 12:17pm)
  • Guido's is my usual chippy. Pretty good. by JohnKnonce (Thu 14th May 2020 12:21pm)
  • Have to admit when I was a wee guy we'd do this occasionally if we'd been out all night (the old all meant to be staying at each others houses trick). Go a mission for milk and orange juice off cunts doorsteps and someone would end up grabbing the rolls from a shop. I mind my pals maw going nuts when she found 40 odd rolls under his bed. by JohnKnonce (Sun 17th May 2020 6:59pm)
  • You're talking about deleting an app because of downvotes in the same sentence (to be fair it's a pretty big sentence) as saying you don't care what people think. I think you're the first numpty I've ever seen say they'd delete Reddit from their phone because they got downvoted lol. Top class. by JohnKnonce (Tue 19th May 2020 10:35pm)
  • If you don't give a flying fuck why are you so raging? See me, sitting here typing calm sentences, that's what not giving a fuck looks like. You look like you give way too much of a fuck. by JohnKnonce (Wed 20th May 2020 12:31am)
  • Obviously depends on the specifics of the job but I'd be happier to be working from home because there's more chance of you keeping your job in the end. The folk on furlough must be shitein it a bit that they'll just get the sack eventually. by JohnKnonce (Thu 21st May 2020 12:03pm)
  • Every other day I see a post on Reddit that worries me. It'll no be long until "my shoelaces have become undone, what do I do?" is standard patter. by JohnKnonce (Thu 21st May 2020 12:09pm)
  • Another one is Bottle Drop. Bottle-drop.co.uk They deliver same day to the Southside for 6 quid. I've used them a few times now. Good service, but I've not tried their cocktails. by JohnKnonce (Sat 23rd May 2020 4:13pm)
  • It's clearly in response to someone saying "we" are better than this. They're basically saying "Lol, no you're not". He's not part of that "we", I assume, so it's not his responsibility to check anyone. by JohnKnonce (Sat 23rd May 2020 4:24pm)
  • You sound like hard work over this tbh mate. If the same comes across to them then your pals are maybe just a bit sick of it but don't want to tell you to piss off because you seem to be right into organising the fun. by JohnKnonce (Mon 25th May 2020 4:28pm)
  • This fucking thing is relentless. Beat it you! by JohnKnonce (Mon 25th May 2020 4:26pm)
  • Aye I think if I'm at the fling myself off a bridge a wee note isn't going to help. Who knows though? Might do. I do know that if I'm at the fling myself off a bridge stage a patronising note won't make things any worse. by JohnKnonce (Tue 26th May 2020 3:24pm)
  • It's funny seeing people who rail against the metropolitan remainer elite bending over backwards to defend the metropolitan leaver elite. It shows that those two words, metropolitan and elite, are actually irrelevant to them. by JohnKnonce (Tue 26th May 2020 4:02pm)
  • Aye we don't do these new fangled yankee sports here. Strictly caber tossing and haggis bothering. The sooner the fucking schools go back the better. by JohnKnonce (Wed 27th May 2020 9:21am)

  • I disagree with you, but I do find it kind of funny that you're getting pelters here when you could have made that same comment in any other post about someone writing on a wall and almost everycunt would have agreed. by JohnKnonce (Thu 28th May 2020 12:03pm)
  • 5g pon de river. by JohnKnonce (Thu 28th May 2020 12:08pm)
  • Probably. I'm going to stay put for the next couple of weeks and wait to see how bad the spike in cases is before I consider going out. by JohnKnonce (Thu 28th May 2020 4:19pm)
  • Hahaha, coming out the toilet with a look of shame and the cold scud jotter against your belly under your t-shirt. That's a memory I'd successfully repressed until now. Cheers lol. by JohnKnonce (Fri 29th May 2020 4:38pm)
  • Couldn't find a subreddit to post that in, figured they might be common smoke alarms round here. The last time I had to change the battery in one of these I broke it trying to get it open. by JohnKnonce (Sat 30th May 2020 5:20pm)
  • The battery is definitely replaceable, I just can't see how to get the front off the thing without breaking it. by JohnKnonce (Sat 30th May 2020 5:48pm)
  • The sides look like this. It won't twist and those clip looking things don't seem to move. https://imgur.com/a/MJszOC1 by JohnKnonce (Sat 30th May 2020 6:09pm)
  • This is what the sides of it look like. It doesn't seem to twist, those wee clip things don't seem to move. Everything I'm doing with it feels like I'm going to break it if I put any more force into it. https://imgur.com/a/MJszOC1 by JohnKnonce (Sat 30th May 2020 6:08pm)
  • It is but it has a battery in it too. It's currently chirping at me once a minute or so. by JohnKnonce (Sat 30th May 2020 6:11pm)
  • I'm trying to get it off the bracket. It won't twist. The sides of it look like this https://imgur.com/a/MJszOC1 They look like clip things but any attempt to move or bend them feels like it's going to snap. by JohnKnonce (Sat 30th May 2020 6:10pm)
  • >Do you have more than one? If yes, are the others sounding? I do, it's only this one making a noise. >Check the consumer unit hasn’t tripped on that circuit. You mean like the fusebox/circuit breaker? Everything's on there, all looks fine. >Whether they twist off, or slide off, there will be a catch you need to release. These aren’t always easy to access or use. You may need a flat bladed screwdriver. https://imgur.com/a/MJszOC1 That's what the sides of it look like. Feels like it's going to break if I put pressure on it in any way so I'm really hesitant in case I do it the wrong way. by JohnKnonce (Sat 30th May 2020 6:37pm)
  • Mate you're a hero. I'll give that a shot. by JohnKnonce (Sat 30th May 2020 7:03pm)
  • It did. Got it open, then halfway through changing the battery the chirp came from the hall still. Turns out after all that it was a different smoke alarm chirping! Ah well, problem solved anyway and I know how to get into it next time. Thanks. by JohnKnonce (Sat 30th May 2020 7:22pm)
  • I had no idea they things were so expensive. No wonder they're always getting nicked. There go my half arsed plans of getting a bike to maybe occasionally fly about on. Last time I had a bike (when I was 15) it was all about the number of gears and the suspension. How come bikes don't seem to have suspension any more? Is it possible to pick up like a BMX cheaply or are they mad money now too? by JohnKnonce (Mon 1st Jun 2020 2:40pm)
  • Aye. by JohnKnonce (Tue 2nd Jun 2020 9:33pm)
  • I fucking hate people. Imagine joining the end of that queue for a fucking McDonalds, or any scran that isn't the last available scran in the country. It's no even a unique bit of lockdown/covid madness. These are the same sort of nuggets who queued for hours for some expensive donuts a few year back. by JohnKnonce (Tue 2nd Jun 2020 9:41pm)
  • If cunts were queueing all the way up the road like this for random local takeaway number 6 I'd hope we'd all be calling them fucking idiots too. by JohnKnonce (Wed 3rd Jun 2020 11:34am)
  • Absolutely. That what's the Krispy Kreme shit was. It wasn't people suddenly rattling for a donut, it was people rattling to show folk they'd got the cool donut. by JohnKnonce (Wed 3rd Jun 2020 11:33am)
  • > am burger flipper You can tell that's true because you said "use that excuse" lol. I'm not a burger flipper but I know the machine needs cleaned and people, being the sort of dopey pricks who'd queue up the road for a McDonald's, won't accept hygiene as a reason why their stupid fat wean can't get his McFlurry right now. by JohnKnonce (Wed 3rd Jun 2020 11:32am)
  • Keep them. I wouldn't even know half the dodgy shit I know about Glasgow's past if it wasn't for the street names pointing it out. Like others have said, plaques and shit to explain why Jamaica Street is called Jamaica Street etc would be good but changing them feels more like a cover-up than a positive thing. by JohnKnonce (Wed 3rd Jun 2020 12:22pm)
  • DELETED >even when our taxes were still paying for it up until 2015 In what way? Were we paying reparations to somewhere? by JohnKnonce (Wed 3rd Jun 2020 12:33pm)
  • Aye same here, and what I would add is that if those street names had been changed a long time ago I'd probably never have known. I had never had any thought about where the cash came from to build Glasgow back in the day, it had literally never entered my head, but folk whinging about the street names made me find out. So it's a good thing that the streets are named how they are and it's also a good thing that people kick off about changing them every few years. by JohnKnonce (Wed 3rd Jun 2020 12:32pm)
  • I think it's mainly theatre. Same with the two metre social distancing at work places etc. It's to make people feel safer about returning to some sort of normality, but in reality it does fuck all. I don't know what's worse - that the government won't be honest with us or that the government possibly can't be honest with us because we'll reject that and elect a government who'll placate us with warm bullshit. by JohnKnonce (Wed 3rd Jun 2020 12:50pm)
  • Cunts love that pish "complaining about people in the park... While you're in the park? Hmmmmm! Aren't I clever". It's brutal. by JohnKnonce (Wed 3rd Jun 2020 12:58pm)
  • DELETED Jesus fuck. I was like "never heard of that before but fair enough, it was probably due". Actually sounded like a good thing, but nope. We were paying reparations but to the slave owners not the slaves. It's almost funny in an extremely twisted way. by JohnKnonce (Wed 3rd Jun 2020 1:03pm)
  • DELETED I get that it's a bit more complex but "really sorry you can't own humans any more but don't worry, we've put a massive debt on future generations to make sure you don't lose out" isn't especially noble to me. "Get fucked you can't own people" would be noble. by JohnKnonce (Wed 3rd Jun 2020 1:56pm)
  • As a general rule any "marketing" job that you're even slightly suspicious of will be a scam of some sort. Even if the scam is just that "marketing" means standing in a shopping centre trying to flog Sky signups for fuck all pay. by JohnKnonce (Wed 3rd Jun 2020 2:11pm)
  • I thought America fought their war over keeping the slaves, rather than a lack of compensation? I can't imagine you'd get people to fight because British Sugar in Jamaica didn't get a fair price for the people it used to own. I guess there would be civil unrest in the parts of the British Empire where the slaves actually lived right enough. I do understand that I'm applying a wildly different moral standard to the past though, and that in comparison to "but they're darkies - of course we can own them" paying compensation to end the practice is the more noble act. by JohnKnonce (Wed 3rd Jun 2020 3:35pm)

  • Tbh I can understand it more from an old man in his 70s. I'm in my 30s so I'm hiding out. If I was in my 70s I'd probably think fuck this I'm going for my paper. by JohnKnonce (Mon 8th Jun 2020 12:14pm)

  • I find the "Boris stop funding the Kkkops" one particularly weird. If they're going to import the movement from the US they could at least localise it a bit better than just switching the names. Half expecting to see an "Impeach Boris!" one kicking about. by JohnKnonce (Tue 9th Jun 2020 12:54pm)
  • They're coming for the duke Daily Record: Glasgow's iconic Duke of Wellington memorial could be sent to 'statue graveyard'. https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/news/scottish-news/scots-statues-should-go-graveyard-22172410 Surely that'll be a step too far for Glasgow? I've nae idea what the cunt done, no doubt some shady shit, but that statue is pretty iconic. Cannae see it going lightly. I reckon the fact that the people disrespect the statue with such joy means it can stay, noone is revering the great man the statue was built in honour of when they're laughing at a cone on his head by JohnKnonce (Thu 11th Jun 2020 8:33am)
  • The Record have removed it, it seems. It's still got the same link (but to that dead page) on Google if you search "daily record duke statue graveyard" Glasgow Live link - https://www.glasgowlive.co.uk/news/glasgow-news/duke-wellington-could-moved-statue-18399472 by JohnKnonce (Thu 11th Jun 2020 11:11am)
  • Na, it's on the list with about 100 others that someone has flagged for removal. I've not seen it seriously entertained anywhere. by JohnKnonce (Fri 12th Jun 2020 10:12am)
  • Fuck knows. I think the list was crowd sourced (so basically, anycunt with any objection to any statue get it on the list). The only thing I've seen is that the plinth has a depiction of him slaughtering Indians or something (I might have that a bit mixed up, half remembering this). I can't say I've ever noticed if it does. So I'm thinking it's "he killed a load of the locals somewhere". by JohnKnonce (Fri 12th Jun 2020 11:07am)
  • That's exactly my thinking with this statue. We disrespect it with such glee that I think it can stay even if the guy was the worst cunt. by JohnKnonce (Fri 12th Jun 2020 11:24am)

  • >despite the fact he believed women were too stupid to be educated That's kind of hilarious, coz I only know who he is due to my P7 teacher (a looooong time ago) always telling us about him like he was some great hero. The only thing I actually remember is that he was hanged. (Edit - and that's apparently not even fucking true. Am I confusing him with someone else???) Looking at his Wikipedia page I think I can guess why she loved the fella... > On his return to Scotland, Knox led the [Protestant Reformation](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Protestant_Reformation) in Scotland, in partnership with the Scottish [Protestant](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Protestantism) [nobility](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scottish_nobility) Edit - before looking at the wiki page if "Who was John Knox?" was a pub quiz question I'd have said "the last person to be hanged in Scotland" with confidence. Who the fuck am thinking of, and why am I sure my primary school teacher told me that? Lol by JohnKnonce (Fri 12th Jun 2020 1:25pm)

  • He didn't say all Rangers supporter are into this shit. But I don't think any of us can deny that all the folk into this shit will be Rangers supporters. They've called themselves the Loyalist Defence League, just incase there was any doubt. by JohnKnonce (Mon 15th Jun 2020 9:20am)
  • Surely you're not trying to imply that the men of the Loyalist Defence League are heavily associated with a particular football team? Fucking Kilmarnock fans man, they're always causing bother... by JohnKnonce (Mon 15th Jun 2020 9:27am)

  • >Yes there are absolute bams, worstcunts and stupid Nazi fucks who attach their selves to the mob to validate their own existence. The mob who've organised under the name Loyalist Defence League. A nice combo of their sectarian pish and the EDL. They are the absolute worst cunts and stupid nazi fucks. Perhaps a few normal people will attach themselves to the mob because they haven't paid enough attention to who the mob are - hopefully that's what you've done here (not paid attention to who they are) and you don't really think the LDL people are decent folk. by JohnKnonce (Mon 15th Jun 2020 9:36am)
  • I'm sorry that happened to you here. It's a fucking shite state of affairs. And I'm really sorry you didn't get to leather at least one of them before that last copper intervened. > A large group of men called me a chinky, tried to take my cameras from me, and punched me in the head; the sole response of police officers who witnessed this was to ask me to leave the area. That's what it sounds like to me. The police not stepping in and making an example of a few cunts by arresting them when they start that shite is what emboldens the rest of them to ramp it up. by JohnKnonce (Mon 15th Jun 2020 12:07pm)
  • Mate, it was this Loyalist Defence League that organised it. You've just admitted to taking plenty to do with them in the exact same sentence where you claimed that you didn't lol. Judging by what you've said here you perhaps don't realise that you're taking plenty to do with them by attending their protest. Maybe you're there for your own reasons but you're adding to their numbers whether you like/mean it or not. I'll take your word about the people you saw throwing Nazi salutes getting told off, but that doesn't really change anything. You might as well have been at a BNP rally, please realise that. by JohnKnonce (Mon 15th Jun 2020 5:09pm)
  • You went to a protest organised by the Loyalist Defence League. They weren't just there, they organised it. We'll need to agree to disagree on the idea that going to a protest organised by the LDL is going to an LDL protest lol, we're going round in circles. What "various football teams" were there? by JohnKnonce (Tue 16th Jun 2020 9:10am)

  • >Funny how every political debate in Scotland boils down to the Old Firm. Divide & Rule. One side explicitly out there as the Loyalist Defence League, you start bleating about the Green Brigade then whinging that everything boils down to the old firm? Can you not see how daft that is? You're the problem you're complaining about. Note that no cunt decided to just label these roasters as part of the old firm, like you've done, they stated it themselves. by JohnKnonce (Tue 16th Jun 2020 9:47am)

  • Aye they're being a bit more cautious about that one. Commissioned further study. I think it's a good idea to be careful. The basic idea of sitting in a beer garden seems pretty safe, as sitting in the park does, but it's how safe is it having having X amount of people contained to a relatively small area (even if outdoor) for possibly a good few hours at a time all using the same bogs etc. by JohnKnonce (Thu 18th Jun 2020 2:44pm)
  • All the fucking random news people are brutal, with their copy and paste request for permission on every Twitter video. "Whoa that's crazy! • Maybe something like Guinness where it's much better out the tap (I don't know, I don't drink the stuff), but everycunt I know has been getting plastic pints of Tennents and marvelling over them when they'd greet about them at a festival etc. I get the novelty factor, but that's all it is - at least for almost everyone I know. by JohnKnonce (Fri 19th Jun 2020 3:07pm)
  • If he'd just called them wankers would you have said "Quite right, get them to fuck"? Or is this your best attempt at defending them? Ackshually they're not fascists... by JohnKnonce (Sat 20th Jun 2020 10:39am)

  • It's not an opinion. You've misconstrued what they were talking about. You thought they were talking about the employees original tweet when they were talking about the union's statement. I don't know if you've got some issue where you can't accept a small mistake made by yourself but this is quite weird to read. There were misunderstandings all round but everyone else has seen where their own misunderstanding was except for you. You still appear to have the same misunderstanding despite it being explained clearly to you, and are now seeing it as a difference of opinion lol. You got something wrong my man, that's all. It's fine. It doesn't matter. But it looks mental when you can't accept it. by JohnKnonce (Sat 20th Jun 2020 11:13am)
  • This is insane. The quizlamic state fella said the union was unprofessional for using Reddit to make a statement. The fella you're arguing with has basically said "the union did not make a statement on Reddit, they used Twitter" and you're arguing like a loony about the original employees tweet. These two folk are not talking about the original tweet, they're taking about the unions statement. by JohnKnonce (Sat 20th Jun 2020 11:10am)
  • Who do you think I am that I should get to fuck for something? What have I done? I didn't say they were fascists. I asked if that was your best attempt at defending them? by JohnKnonce (Sat 20th Jun 2020 11:19am)
  • I went on to read the whole thing and made a second comment at the end. Your explanation just showed your misunderstanding clearer. It doesn't really matter, I just found it frustrating to read and wanted to try and point out to you that it was you who was misunderstanding, that you'd got the wrong end of the stick and kept doubling down on it. by JohnKnonce (Sat 20th Jun 2020 11:17am)
  • Ah well I tried to help but that's plenty. I don't know why I thought you'd suddenly get it because I chimed in lol. Carry on bud. by JohnKnonce (Sat 20th Jun 2020 11:22am)
  • I thought you were saying that sarcastically. My bad :) I see it touted a lot at anti-fascists "You're supposed to be tolerant but you're not being tolerant of my intolerance. Gotcha!" Sorry for misunderstanding. by JohnKnonce (Sat 20th Jun 2020 11:34am)
  • Brexit and its rights and wrongs are equivalent to racism and it's ri.... Fuck, I can't even bring myself to type that sarcastically. by JohnKnonce (Sat 20th Jun 2020 11:44am)
  • You had your reasons man. Just like these folk did. by JohnKnonce (Sat 20th Jun 2020 11:45am)
  • They've no got a scooby about being protestant either. I mind at my grandpa's funeral, in a crematorium with blokes wearing orange sashes, thinking "If they're all so staunchly protestant shouldn't this be in a church? And shouldn't religion be mentioned by this fella reading the shite out?" and then you realise that they're staunchly pro rangers and staunchly anti Catholic, but not at all actually religious themselves. My dad's the same. If you'd to really push him he doesn't believe in God at all, but if you'd just to ask him he's a solid Protestant. It's nuts. Do you get the same from Celtic side? Folk who think of themselves as extremely Catholic, yet don't ever go near a chapel and think "being Catholic" mostly means "loving the Celtic, hating the fucking gers!" by JohnKnonce (Sat 20th Jun 2020 11:55am)
  • I got halfway through doing it and thought even for the purposes of mocking what this guy has just said I'm not actually going to write those words. It's just a bit too mental. • Aye of course I do, but you're acting as if real documented history about workers rights doesn't exist at all. You could spend your time reading about this shit instead of waffling nonsense on Reddit, but you do you... > but this automatic assumption that all employers are cunts is fucking childish. Noone said that. A guy made a comment about verifiable historical fact regarding workers rights and your stupidheid thought he was talking about today. He wasn't. He was saying if people never criticised their employers we wouldn't have things like weekends, and if you and the slightest scooby about anything here you wouldn't have disputed that. • > Mines broken and don't want to have to wait for delivery by JohnKnonce (Mon 22nd Jun 2020 8:46am)
  • You've confused me here. There's two parts to the app? One being a separate optional tracking part, and without that it does fuck all? So what's the point? To my understanding there is not. There's not a separate tracking app afaik, but maybe something has changed recently. Apparently now they've decided to go with the Google/apple APIs instead of their own app from scratch that they've just spunked a load of money at. So that waste of time and money was bad, and even absolute laymen like myself could obviously see where their original wasn't going to work. The original intentions to collect all the data and store it centrally was bad. If the new app, if it ever comes out, doesn't do that now then that's a good thing - but you could see their wee "all your data is belongs to us" cocks getting hard at the thought. So if an app ever materialises (they're now saying it will be ready for winter, when we were supposed to have a "world beater" already going by now) it might not actually be bad but it won't be good either - it requires an incredibly high percentage of people to know how to and choose to install it on their phones, so it will probably be pointless because not enough people will have it. That's why it's "bad". It's been a waste of time and money, a fantastic piece of British exceptionalism and even now that it's failed as it was always obviously going to the simpler idea of using Google/apple tech isn't going to work too well either because there will be a lack of uptake from the public, not least because the disastrous way they've attempted to roll it out will have eroded all confidence from anyone who's been paying attention. by JohnKnonce (Mon 22nd Jun 2020 9:16am)
  • Thanks man, but it's not me needing it lol. I was just pointing that out because what the other folk were saying to you would have been mad confusing if you'd missed that line. by JohnKnonce (Mon 22nd Jun 2020 9:48am)

What was the photo of? Fucking Haile Selassie, visiting Wemyss Bay haha. Jah! Rastafari! "On this day Haile Selassie went to Wemyss Bay" would have been interesting enough, to the point where I'd have thought it a joke. by JohnKnonce (Mon 22nd Jun 2020 9:52am)

  • It's a well known racist symbol, so crossing it out seems like quite an obvious thing to do when you're protesting racism. Are you getting offended that racists are being lumped in with Nazis? Lol, that's the weirdest take I've seen in a while. I can't tell if you're upset on behalf of the racists or the Nazis, either way it's pretty funny. I'm not really sure how to answer your other incoherent questions tbh. by JohnKnonce (Mon 22nd Jun 2020 10:45am)

Calling you awfully invested was a wee bit unfair though, sorry about that. I've probably commented in just about every thread too. by JohnKnonce (Mon 22nd Jun 2020 12:06pm)
  • Aye but you do you actually think the people calling them Nazis think they are literal card carrying neo-Nazis? Surely you realise it's just a slang term for racist fuckwit? If the best defence of these guys is that they technically aren't actually real Nazis, then it's not really much defence at all. by JohnKnonce (Mon 22nd Jun 2020 12:14pm)
  • Government isolation centres lol. Welcome to a whole other world my man. If you're expected to self isolate for 2 weeks that just means stay inside for 2 weeks. If you're sharing accomodation with someone then you're supposed to isolate within that same property (I know that's not possible but I didn't say it made sense lol). If you don't have somewhere to live then you're just looking for somewhere to live, not somewhere to specifically self isolate. You could book a hotel for a couple weeks if you haven't found a proper place to live before coming here, but afaik the government won't help you with that at all. A friend of mine lives in Korea the now, based on what she's told me you'll be in for a bit of a shock as to how little is being actively done about Covid19 here. I've heard they've got quite privacy invasive measures to quarantine people etc, phone tracking and so on, there's none of that here. Tbh I wouldn't be surprised if the government drop that 2 week quarantine thing completely very soon. by JohnKnonce (Mon 22nd Jun 2020 12:30pm)
  • Took me to the last sentence to click on lol. Well played. by JohnKnonce (Mon 22nd Jun 2020 12:39pm)
  • That's fair, if you want to spend your time defending the trademark then that's on you lol. What you'll probably find though is that the more obvious it is that being called a Nazi annoys these cunts, the more likely they are to be called it. Personally I'd just call them racist idiots and save all this useless debate from people who strangely care an awful lot about the specific words associated with racist idiots. by JohnKnonce (Mon 22nd Jun 2020 1:46pm)
  • You're defending racist idiots, by taking umbrage on their behalf that people are calling them Nazis. If you do that all the time whenever you see something or someone being slightly mislabeled then sound, I guess that's just your thing. Do you though? by JohnKnonce (Mon 22nd Jun 2020 1:51pm)
  • >characterised BLM as a violent anarcho-communist movement then you'd be right to correct me. And when people do that do you jump to BLM's defence because you hate inaccuracy? by JohnKnonce (Mon 22nd Jun 2020 1:59pm)
  • >Council should park a Community Enforcement Officer in Kelvingrove on days like these. Would could they do with hundreds of people walking away and leaving their rubbish at their arse? The actual polis sit there plenty and can't do shit about it really, some wee litter warden isn't going to have an easy time. by JohnKnonce (Mon 22nd Jun 2020 1:57pm)
  • The suggestion was for a council litter warden fella to be stationed there. When people walk away from their rubbish do you think he's going to track them down? Sure if someone was walking down a path in front of him and blatantly dropped a bit of litter but what we're looking at here is hundreds of people who've just stood up and walked away from their shite, there's fuck all they could realistically do there. by JohnKnonce (Mon 22nd Jun 2020 2:29pm)
  • I don't believe you but it's a bit pointless for us to sit here and argue back and forth about that. by JohnKnonce (Mon 22nd Jun 2020 2:26pm)
  • No, just a daft bloke making an arse of himself. Very Alpha lol. by JohnKnonce (Mon 22nd Jun 2020 2:37pm)
  • Well aye there's the hard to deal with element of it, of course. You'd need an awful lot more polis, or need to direct them away from awfully more important things, to enforce this. It would be nice if we could but it's not practical. by JohnKnonce (Mon 22nd Jun 2020 2:47pm)
  • ? I know that. They're going with the Google APIs instead of their own app **from scratch**. They started off, and wasted a whole load of money, saying they'd make an app that didn't use those APIs, that they'd create a full thing from scratch. Now they aren't doing that and are going with what anyone who had the vaguest bit of knowledge about this had said they'd need to from the start. They still need to develop some sort of app, but they don't need to develop the entire thing from the ground up and work around rather than with iOS and Android. Tbh at this point they'll probably just copy other countries, Germany's maybe. by JohnKnonce (Mon 22nd Jun 2020 3:30pm)
  • I thought my point was quite clear but I guess not - it wasnt that fines can't be handed out for littering it's that trying to do it specifically there when there's hundreds of people and you can't tell whose litter is whose, or even what is litter and what isn't - folk haven't even littered until they've already walked away without picking up their rubbish. It's different from you on your own obviously pinging a fag right in front of the guy. by JohnKnonce (Mon 22nd Jun 2020 5:39pm)
  • I'm not sure how you're not getting this Busy KG looks like this - https://i2-prod.glasgowlive.co.uk/incoming/article14676645.ece/ALTERNATES/s615b/GP26323843.jpg When individuals there walk away without picking up their shite, how would you even know? Tbh if they just saw me do some sort of movement I'd have flat out denied it. "Wasn't me. Are you the police? No? Right see you later then". > Fair, or unfair, if you do that to a handful of people - visibly, most people would suddenly "remember" their litter. You wouldn't know it was litter or whose it was. "I was just going for a pish. That's no mine" etc. It might be a bit defeatist but the simple solution to me is pay folk to clean it up. Or give the folk captured elsewhere pinging fags on train platforms community service to do it ;) by JohnKnonce (Mon 22nd Jun 2020 5:56pm)
  • Here's how it plays out in KG when you're trying to fine folk who've left their empty cans lying there. "That's no mine" "You're getting fined anyway" "No I'm not" and walk away. We're taking about the equivalent of a traffic warden. The difference is the traffic warden has your reggy plate. The idea of someone whose not the polis or a traffic warden fining you is comical to me. I'll concede that it would be a small deterrent, and that if the actual police did it they could at least successfully issue a fine to someone, but I'd bet you all the fine money put together that the hill still looked like that at the end of the night. by JohnKnonce (Mon 22nd Jun 2020 6:14pm)

  • To be perfectly honest the biggest "litter problem" Glasgow has is cunts constantly greeting about litter on here. by JohnKnonce (Tue 23rd Jun 2020 9:14am)
  • An electrician could probably do it no bother. Basically the same thing as wiring up plug sockets but much simpler. But what you're looking for for someone who specifically does that is probably an AV install company. Like places that'll install media centres and flat screen tellies in the wall and Sonos speakers in every room etc. That's the sort of folk who'd be wiring up Ethernet ports regularly. A high end AV install would likely have cat6 running everywhere. Don't know what they'd be like price wise though, or if just installing ethernet ports would be too small a job. by JohnKnonce (Tue 23rd Jun 2020 1:38pm)
  • Aye fair point. When I'm saying an electrician could do it I was thinking run a cable from my router into the wall, pull that through the wall, and screw a new plug socket in with ethernet ports on it and plug that cable in the back of it. Essentially thinking "What would do if I didn't want to trail a cable from my living room to my hall". Once you're talking wiring the whole house, like I am in the rest of my comment, it wouldn't be so simple. I wasn't sure how those powerline adapters keep up with modern fibre but I've used them years ago (was for an Xbox 360) and they worked great. Couldn't be simpler. by JohnKnonce (Tue 23rd Jun 2020 2:26pm)
  • Aye, give people who happen to be out of work the same punishment as people convicted of crimes that don't quite warrant a jail sentence. Listen to yourself man. by JohnKnonce (Tue 23rd Jun 2020 6:04pm)
  • Folk have been fighting the polis that come to arrest them for as long as the polis have existed. I'd imagine that's more likely how the polis got hurt here, than them being the target. by JohnKnonce (Fri 26th Jun 2020 2:48pm)
  • Why have cunts taken offense at the guys comment? What's actually wrong with it? Multiple stabbings with the perpetrator being shot to death by the polis says probably some sort of terrorist attack. In this current climate the people most likely to commit an act of terrorism are the far right or Islamic extremists. by JohnKnonce (Fri 26th Jun 2020 2:54pm)
  • The responses to you there are bonkers. It was a perfectly reasonable statement. by JohnKnonce (Fri 26th Jun 2020 2:52pm)
  • It's extremely unlikely that the police in Scotland would shoot dead the suspect if it looked like anything you're imagining. by JohnKnonce (Fri 26th Jun 2020 3:02pm)
  • They were probably gutted to not see more. The litter watch on here is brutal. by JohnKnonce (Fri 26th Jun 2020 3:44pm)
  • They're fucking kids man. They probably had as much access to information telling them this is totally fine as they do information telling them it's not. I know plenty of fully grown adults who've no got a scooby and think anytime there's a slight easing in restrictions that means it all back to normal, and then get disappointed that the pub isn't open yet. by JohnKnonce (Fri 26th Jun 2020 3:54pm)
  • I get that it's annoying to see but I find it really odd that people would have at all expected teenagers to give the slightest fuck about social distancing etc. I try not to get mad at them because I know if I was their age I'd almost certainly be doing the same. by JohnKnonce (Fri 26th Jun 2020 3:51pm)
  • Mate you said the park had been absolutely ruined lol. Bit fucking dramatic. Is that it closed down now? The folk on here pickle my heid sometimes. Daft comments one way or the other are to be expected but the down/upvote ratio on them is usually the opposite of what I'd expect. Would be good if there was an alternative Glasgow sub, like an old pish reeking boozer to this wanky cocktail bar, that wasn't a one man lunatic asylum. Like a place where someone would tell you to shut the fuck up for saying the parks been absolutely ruined and everyone else would go "Aye, what a load of pish" lol. by JohnKnonce (Fri 26th Jun 2020 4:05pm)
  • Any idea why? I'm not doubting you because I know fuck all about viruses but if the first wave hits and some people get it some don't some die some don't etc, and then a second wave hits - what could make the second wave (that we're somewhat prepared for and probably have some level of immunity in the population) hit worse than the first one? Would the Spanish flu have something to do with the times rather than the actual virus itself? Ie, the second wave was worse because of something war related? by JohnKnonce (Fri 26th Jun 2020 4:18pm)
  • Cunts keep giving it the big second wave shouts whenever there's gatherings of any sort. The BLM folks got it flung at them. The statue nonces too. Now a bunch of teenagers with a cargo. It's turning into the boy who cried wolf. It sounded pretty obvious that it was going to happen the first time it was claimed, but since it's been claimed a few times now and not happened at all it's getting harder to believe in. by JohnKnonce (Fri 26th Jun 2020 4:28pm)
  • Brilliant. This will get all those wee stauners stauning - a story which contains both people gathering against lockdown rules and potential for massive littering in a park. by JohnKnonce (Fri 26th Jun 2020 4:34pm)
  • Aye, never tell the polis that the thing you've fashioned into a weapon is for self defense. You're just admitting that it's a weapon. If asked it's not a weapon at all. by JohnKnonce (Fri 26th Jun 2020 4:42pm)
  • That's one thing to note - you can easily carry a weapon on you but if asked it's definitely not for self defense, it just so happens that it could be misused in such a way and that definitely wasn't your intention when carrying it. Felt worth pointing out because too many folk will think "but it's just for self defense" will be an excuse rather than a solid admission of guilt. I need this sharpened 3 iron for a very special type of golf... by JohnKnonce (Fri 26th Jun 2020 4:40pm)
  • Parents were taking pictures of their kids vandalising something? What do you mean by vandalising? Seems an odd thing to do "That's our Jimmy panning windows now! Next thing you know it'll be arson. Here's hoping!". by JohnKnonce (Fri 26th Jun 2020 5:11pm)
  • Hahaha, if I didn't know better I'd say this was fantastic satire. The drunk weans fighting with each other, and the racists out protesting against asylum seekers hide an even darker side than racism or drunken violence... by JohnKnonce (Fri 26th Jun 2020 5:17pm)
  • I can't honestly say that I wouldn't be out partying as much as possible if I was still in my 20s, nevermind a teenager. I'm pretty sure that even if I did take it seriously at first I'd have got sick of it by now and broken enough rules enough times that I no longer felt any were worth bothering with. Tbh I think it's a saving grace that I'm an old cunt now who needs to be dragged out at the best of times. by JohnKnonce (Fri 26th Jun 2020 5:24pm)
  • The park was temporarily absolutely ruined for one evening lol. The way you've written your last sentence in that comment there makes my point for me much better than I could have. Cheers. by JohnKnonce (Fri 26th Jun 2020 5:28pm)
  • Aye but what I'm not getting is, all things being equal like restrictions etc from wave 1 to wave 2 then what makes wave 2 hit worse whenever it does? Like, conditions should be the same even if (or especially if) all precautions were lifted. Noone was taking precautions or imposing restrictions before the first wave. The only thing that should be different is that more people are probably immune so I'd assume the virus has a harder time the second go round? Is it just timing? Wave 1 in the arse end of flu season, but Wave 2 potentially right in the middle of it so it might be worse because it's tagteaming with the flu? by JohnKnonce (Fri 26th Jun 2020 5:33pm)
  • Get a grip. Cunts is a synonym for people in this instance. There was no harm meant. If I'd to say "You're a cunt for deliberately taking that the wrong way" there would have been. by JohnKnonce (Fri 26th Jun 2020 5:38pm)
  • The only death that's confirmed is the suspect who the police shot. By the sounds of it noone else was killed, the suspect didn't kill anyone. The other supposed deaths must have came from a game of Chinese tweets. by JohnKnonce (Fri 26th Jun 2020 6:47pm)
  • Aye I figured it was something like that from the vague term "vandalism". Well, I mean something that I don't think most people would consider vandalism, I definitely didn't guess that it was "Fish the don't feed the bread ducks out the pond". The specifics paint a different picture from the original post. You're saying they just moved a floating wooden duck thing that floats freely around the pond? So really some kids were playing in the pond and by the sounds of it didn't harm, let alone "vandalise", a thing. by JohnKnonce (Fri 26th Jun 2020 6:53pm)
  • Lol, listen to yourself man. They kicked a wooden duck. I realise it's probably pissed you off a wee bit, and you've probably then dug your heels in because your concerns were (rightly imo) mocked on your local FB group, but if you take a step back and think about it - they kicked (edit - and threw about) a wooden duck. by JohnKnonce (Fri 26th Jun 2020 7:00pm)
  • It made the point I was making about the users of this subreddit better than I could have, that's all. I blame gentrification... by JohnKnonce (Fri 26th Jun 2020 7:10pm)
  • No worries mate, just don't be surprised at all at folk calling you a snob or making thinly veiled snidey remarks because you'll find that your opinion that it's your civic duty to defend the honour of the wooden ducks from any sort of disrespect, as if they were statues of Churchill and you were my da, probably isn't shared by many folk in your local area. I'd bet your average punter round here would think kids having a bit of fun in the pond is more important than some minor inconsequential damage to the wooden no bread duck signs. If I'd thought anything upon seeing that it would have been "Glad they're having fun despite all this pish going on" rather than "They're vandalising the structures!". At worst I'd have thought "Hope those wee pricks put them back so I don't have to" but I see you said they did put them back. Put it this way - I'd just be glad they weren't kicking the actual ducks. by JohnKnonce (Fri 26th Jun 2020 7:21pm)
  • Why would it not be relevant? I'd imagine they treat a mentally ill guy differently from an likely Jihadist and different from a couple of blokes having a fight. Seems I was a mile out anyway. A stabbing suspect (something that must be pretty common for Glasgow polis) being shot dead (something that is extremely uncommon for Glasgow polis) screamed terrorism to me, plus every little detail backed it up in some way (3 dead - which turned out to be false, and the hotel housing asylum seekers - made me think it was either an attack by one of them or on some of them) but apparently not. I'd have put money on it being terrorism of some sort. That doesn't seem likely now. by JohnKnonce (Fri 26th Jun 2020 8:37pm)
  • Not really. It stands to reason they'd kill them if they have to. The guys who killed that Lee Rigby boy stick in my mind. They were cutting heads off and were pointing a gun at the police when they pulled up. Cops didn't kill them, even though they were actively attacking people. Not that I'm saying the cops shouldn't have killed this guy, for all I know they absolutely had to. by JohnKnonce (Fri 26th Jun 2020 9:21pm)
  • Has that incredibly blatant sarcasm went over your head? Or has yours went over mine.. by JohnKnonce (Fri 26th Jun 2020 9:33pm)
  • Nothing on this subreddit is making anything better or worse.. by JohnKnonce (Fri 26th Jun 2020 9:58pm)
  • A well placed Whitehall source likely repeating bollocks from Twitter that then makes it into national media as fact. Great work from them lol. by JohnKnonce (Fri 26th Jun 2020 9:56pm)
  • As a pessimist cunt myself I like it. by JohnKnonce (Fri 26th Jun 2020 10:00pm)
  • Only then will they confirm *who* died but they will surely confirm that there were deaths beforehand? At the very least they wouldn't say 6 people were injured and these 6 people, here are their ages btw, they are all in hospital receiving treatment - some are in a critical but stable condition... If some were dead. Would they? by JohnKnonce (Sat 27th Jun 2020 10:51am)
  • Everything there should be prefaced with "THIS IS MY OPINION" because folk on Reddit seem to struggle with that obvious thing. "You don't know" of course they don't, they're saying what they *think*. They think it might not have been necessary to shoot him. I thought the same. I was sure this was some terrorist shit when I heard they'd shot dead a guy with a knife. I figured they went overboard because he was on Jihadi shit, and I wasn't exactly mad at that. Now that it's apparently not a terrorist attack it becomes extremely unusual (maybe even completely unique?) for a guy with a knife to be shot dead in Scotland. At the very least it raises some questions and isn't an "obviously the police definitely did exactly the right thing" when it's extremely abnormal for a guy with a knife to be dealt with by shooting him dead. Don't you agree? by JohnKnonce (Sat 27th Jun 2020 11:07am)
  • Mate of mine used to work in a building where they did that. He said they were huckled out the door into a van immediately on being rejected, which seems harsh but also makes perfect sense - at the moment where you're sending me back to the place I'm seeking asylum from then what do I have to lose? Even if it's not some fucked up nutter shit like this, I'd at the very least do a runner. by JohnKnonce (Sat 27th Jun 2020 11:14am)
  • It's pretty clear that you're already mad at this particular guy for something and that's where your problem is, rather than with the thread itself. by JohnKnonce (Sat 27th Jun 2020 11:17am)
  • What a scummy piece of reporting. Most likely technically true but incredibly misleading. He probably went on a rampage after tying his shoes as well, or after having a glass of water etc. by JohnKnonce (Sat 27th Jun 2020 11:20am)
  • They said for days that there were no deaths at that helicopter crash? Wouldn't they just have refused to confirm reports, rather than state lies about people being in stable conditions in hospital? by JohnKnonce (Sat 27th Jun 2020 11:26am)
  • If it's nigh on impossible then it's not in any danger If it becomes listed and then it becomes possible to replace it, it's no longer possible. by JohnKnonce (Sat 27th Jun 2020 11:31am)
  • Your fault is with the man not the thread though, right? by JohnKnonce (Sat 27th Jun 2020 12:05pm)
  • Fair enough, but you're not coming across that way at all. by JohnKnonce (Sat 27th Jun 2020 12:46pm)
  • Not being happy about someone referring to a guy as scum for the horrific crime of taxing some wine isn't "endorsing/condoning shoplifting". Although personally I do endorse/condone shoplifting for homeless alcoholics if they're desperate. It's a petty crime and is relatively victimless as long as have a go dafties don't jump in to defend the Co's stock. by JohnKnonce (Mon 29th Jun 2020 9:48am)
  • I'm absolutely fine with somecunt shoplifting if they're living on the street. It's a petty crime. by JohnKnonce (Mon 29th Jun 2020 9:45am)
  • We're talking about shoplifting from a supermarket my man. I'm not a Co-Op. But even if I were a walking talking supermarket... if someone stole two bottles of wine from me I wouldn't consider them scum. by JohnKnonce (Mon 29th Jun 2020 10:38am)
  • On you go big hero! One day you'll get your jaw tanned defending a supermarkets stock. Everytime you look at it in the mirror you'll think "That was definitely worth it!". The folk in the shop who habe to deal with the aftermath will think "I'm really glad that big wanker stepped in and didn't let a bottle of wine be stolen!" by JohnKnonce (Mon 29th Jun 2020 10:43am)
  • No sure why your other reply isn't showing. This reply > Stealing from corporations = moral > Stealing from an individual = bad > Great logic there my man 👍🏻 > A real life Robin Hood How are you a "full stack dev" if you can't even comprehend an incredibly short point? Stealing two bottles of wine from the Co = not scum Stealing two bottle of wine directly out my fridge = not scum We're no talking about someone coming in an stealing the weans Xmas presents, or robbing the till from the newsagents or mugging a cunt in the street. We're talking about an alky lifting two bottles of wine ffs. I feel sorry for that someone whose life is that fucked. I don't look at them like scum - as that would be morally reprehensible. Jesus would hate you for that way more than he'd hate you for thieving some wine. by JohnKnonce (Mon 29th Jun 2020 11:01am)
  • Aye but most cunts who don't think that aren't going to shout about the opposite. You'll hear the guy who hates the gays, you won't hear the next 3 guys who don't because they don't have any need to say "Here mate, I don't hate gay folk btw". by JohnKnonce (Mon 29th Jun 2020 11:14am)
  • If one bam stabs another bam over some bam shit then it's not news, it's Tuesday. An asylum seeker going on a random stabbing rampage, with initial (false in the end) reports of 3 dead, with it ending with the police shooting him dead, absolutely was news. That would also have been news if it was wee mental Davey, born and bred in Scotland, doing the same. by JohnKnonce (Mon 29th Jun 2020 11:16am)
  • Oh aye true, I wasn't trying to say there's hardly any of them about. There's definitely plenty. by JohnKnonce (Mon 29th Jun 2020 11:24am)
  • They reported 3 dead initially, but it wasn't true. by JohnKnonce (Mon 29th Jun 2020 11:21am)
  • It's definitely not legal to carry a nightstick lol. Simmer down Big Bossman. If you want to carry a chib you need to carry one that the polis aren't going to see and huckle you for. Tbh I'd imagine if you went walking down the street openly carrying a nightstick you'd find someone willing to test you soon enough. Probably more likely to get into a confrontation than just keeping the heid down. by JohnKnonce (Mon 29th Jun 2020 11:31am)
  • >Seems like the cops are trawling reddit and downvoting people for speaking rather than patrolling the streets and saving a woman from being raped in the middle of the day last week in the centre. Absolutely appalling. I've seen many a bonkers comment on here but this one takes the cake. by JohnKnonce (Mon 29th Jun 2020 11:35am)
  • If your mother had been skint when you were growing up so had thieved a packet of super noodles to feed you one night, would she be scum too? by JohnKnonce (Mon 29th Jun 2020 11:53am)
  • I thought you meant walk down the street tapping it off the palm of your hand to intimidate any would be attackers lol. Aye pepper spray is illegal too. Anything that can be considered an offensive weapon is illegal to carry on you to use as a weapon. If you want to be legal you need to be slightly craftier. A big keyring that'll let you wave your keys about like a flail, to example. But not one of those ones specifically designed for that purpose - because that would be illegal too :) I'd be really wary about pulling any sort of actual weapon out your bag, probably more likely you'd end up having it used on you. The "swing your keys about like a loony trying to tear their face off" approach sounds good to me though. by JohnKnonce (Mon 29th Jun 2020 11:57am)
  • No, I just saw you'd written this > All shoplifters are scum, no matter who they are, where there from or their financial status If your mother had been skint with no support network and was unable to get anything from a food bank that night so she stole some food to feed her kids she would not be scum and I don't believe that you'd genuinely think she was. All I'm doing is trying to get you to think about your completely unnuanced ideas. by JohnKnonce (Mon 29th Jun 2020 12:18pm)
  • This is a really weird thread. Loads of folk whose usernames I've never seen before, whose post histories don't show them posting here. What about this particular thread has brought a sqad in??? Is it just folk mad at a bit of BBC hate? Surely no. by JohnKnonce (Tue 30th Jun 2020 9:36am)

  • Swg3 looks to be totally open air. Maybe there big umbrellas or something? Edit - Na, looks to be mostly picnic tables exposed to the pishing rain. I'll give it a by. I don't get why folk would want to book a wee time slot weeks in advance. It's not like you can't buy booze from the shops. https://www.thescottishsun.co.uk/news/5770704/glasgow-swg3-outdoor-bar-time-slots-toilet/ by JohnKnonce (Fri 3rd Jul 2020 5:22pm)
  • Public consumption of alcohol is already illegal. Not looking too closely at pubs selling pints "to take home" benefits pubs and the people who fancy drinking a pint in the park rather than 4 cans, while hurting noone. I'll certainly still be drinking in public regardless, same as everyone else I know. Anyone causing bother drinking in public was pretty unlikely to be getting drunk one plastic pint at a time when 8 cans is easier, more convenient and cheaper. Banning takeaway pints doesn't really solve any problem, or benefit anyone, so why do it? I'd suggest it's an easy thing to do to be *seen* to be doing something about the problem boozing that's making headlines - even though that problem boozing is almost certainly young team with carryouts. by JohnKnonce (Sun 5th Jul 2020 7:35pm)
  • Oh shut the fuck up. I can't stand this patter about Glasgow. Every other city has responsible adult about we're all big weans. Do you honestly think that's true? by JohnKnonce (Sun 5th Jul 2020 7:44pm)
  • >I really could not care less what you can and cannot stand. If you don't like what I have to say either harden up, make a counter argument or fuck off. Think about your second sentence in the context of your first. I couldn't care less about your three options for supposedly valid reactions to the shite that gets spouted on here. "Harden up"? ffs. Away. You're the cunt who thinks our city is uniquely irresponsible or something because you can't handle seeing some litter. by JohnKnonce (Sun 5th Jul 2020 8:57pm)
  • This what uz are talking about? https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/news/local-news/rutherglen-haunted-house-police-no-8643993 Nobody pulled their phone and filmed it? It's bullshit then. by JohnKnonce (Mon 6th Jul 2020 1:59pm)
  • You got downvoted for pish patter, hardly a great injustice, and respond like this lol. Get a grip man. by JohnKnonce (Mon 6th Jul 2020 2:03pm)
  • It takes a lot less effort to downvote than it does to whinge about being downvoted. So if you think the least effort should be taken when you don't like something then what are you doing? by JohnKnonce (Mon 6th Jul 2020 2:14pm)
  • Seen cunts do this in Amsterdam. Took far too long to figure out what they were doing. Looked like great fun if you're right into bits of shopping trolley and bent bike wheels. Can't imagine the chances of finding anything worthwhile are particularly high. by JohnKnonce (Mon 6th Jul 2020 2:22pm)
  • I'm in G41 and right now I'm getting 27 and 16. Never had any issues with ping in online games, even when using another computer to stream video. Seems something is fucked with your upload speed. by JohnKnonce (Mon 6th Jul 2020 2:25pm)
  • Exactly mate. You could just ignore it. But you've now made about half a dozen posts greeting about a few downvotes, to the point where it's now an organised clique??? Lol. Come on man. by JohnKnonce (Mon 6th Jul 2020 2:34pm)
  • That would likely paint a more accurate picture. Most pub owners are pleased that people were in the door spending money, they're not going to say anything bad about it. by JohnKnonce (Mon 6th Jul 2020 2:32pm)
  • Lol, fair enough. by JohnKnonce (Mon 6th Jul 2020 2:50pm)
  • Took 3 pints and at least as many joints while doing nothing but watching them and being puzzled by it to figure it out. Once I had I asked the barman if that's what they're doing and he confirmed it. At that point I realised I should have asked him at the start. by JohnKnonce (Mon 6th Jul 2020 5:03pm)
  • How do the bogs work at Rum Shack? Or even the getting in and out of the beer garden? Is there an outdoor entrance or do you have to troop through the narrow pub? by JohnKnonce (Tue 7th Jul 2020 8:50am)
  • What was decent about sitting on a picnic table in the cold to drink a pint? Lol, I know that sounds like a pure arsey question, like I'm just trying to piss on your pint. I don't mean it like that. Was it just the hint of "normality"? by JohnKnonce (Tue 7th Jul 2020 8:49am)
  • A lot of us won't be going back to work, at least not literally. I'm looking to get a dog soon where I couldn't before because I was out at work 5 days a week. Now I work from home. I imagine this is the same for loads of people. The prices will just be supply and demand. Maybe they're a bit looser with their puppy farm regulations down south. Wouldn't surprise me if the Tories were pro puppy farm. Are you looking for a dog and a cat? Because looking for a kitten or a border collie is a bit weird imo. Two very different pets. by JohnKnonce (Tue 7th Jul 2020 8:55am)
  • Fair does. I guess I've scratched that itch by getting pints from the pub when it was sunny. Definitely no desire to drink them in the cold. by JohnKnonce (Tue 7th Jul 2020 10:20am)
  • Hadn't considered the food. That makes sense. I was thinking I can hang out with friends and drink pints without being as organised as pre-booking a table and getting my temperature taken lol, and therefore be able to do it based on the weather, but getting some decent food at the table makes it seem a bit more worthwhile. by JohnKnonce (Tue 7th Jul 2020 11:48am)
  • It's a photo of a few tables out the front of a few pubs, not of the beer gardens round the back - about which the OP said "You don't want to know". by JohnKnonce (Tue 7th Jul 2020 11:58am)
  • Aye I didn't think they'd be too bad tbh. Did you see anyone get a knockback for being too hot? by JohnKnonce (Tue 7th Jul 2020 12:51pm)
  • That's a really nice house. Especially when that price would get you a two bed flat round my way. I'd check the back garden for shallow graves before committing though. That TV placement in the living room is clearly the work of a psychopath. by JohnKnonce (Tue 7th Jul 2020 1:48pm)
  • Pish. He doesn't look like a junkie and he's not kicking any swans. You're a creepy weirdo. by JohnKnonce (Thu 9th Jul 2020 8:55am)

  • Do you honestly think you're who people are referring to when they talk about landlords? You're letting your relatives stay in your house and they're covering the mortgage. • How would that prick even know it was a cyclist? Judging by his attitude I'd imagine he's been a cunt to more people, and levelled empty threats at them too. Could be anyone. His threat was hilarious btw. He said "If I see you in the street..." implying he'd do something to that guy he was currently looking at on the street if he seen him on the street. by JohnKnonce (Tue 14th Jul 2020 12:47pm)
  • >Why bother with the comments? More clicks. Yer da's only going to load that page once, unless he gets into a row with someone in the comments. Then he might be back a dozen times. by JohnKnonce (Tue 14th Jul 2020 12:50pm)
  • I'm not gonna lie, the guys wee "..... fuck off" had me in stitches. But there's nothing worse than a prick who thinks he's hard giving it "I'll smash you... but not right now. I'll do you right in.... another day". Either do something or shut the fuck up. That accent is a mileout right enough. by JohnKnonce (Tue 14th Jul 2020 1:00pm)
  • Aye you're spot on. If the owner was a nice guy he'd have been nice. If he wasn't a complete prick he'd have told the cyclist to fuck off and left it at that. Once you start flinging stupid empty threats to smash someone's head in the next time you see them you enter complete prick territory. by JohnKnonce (Tue 14th Jul 2020 1:08pm)
  • >The owner also had the place open with all his staff on during lockdown, clearly they were furloughed. I don't understand this. Anywhere that's had their staff in or their place open during lockdown is scamming furlough money? I've been working right through. Guess I better grass my boss... The guys a cunt but you've put 2+0 together to come up with 100. by JohnKnonce (Tue 14th Jul 2020 1:06pm)
  • He took a biased view of the matter because the guys been nice to him whenever he's been giving him money lol. by JohnKnonce (Tue 14th Jul 2020 1:10pm)
  • Aye that's nonsense. Did they do that before all this if they judged that someone had went too long without a haircut? Of course not. It's fair as a "extra cleaning time" tax, but your barbers have fucked it by trying to implement that on the fly by the sound of it. Like they've massively misjudged that people would see this fee as fairer. Pre Corona I'd have a haircut every few weeks, every few months or even occasionally every few years. I've never been charged anything but the cost of that particular hairdo, regardless of it being a 5 quid Turkish effort or a 30 quid bearded hipster one and regardless of it only being a few weeks growth or shoulder length. by JohnKnonce (Tue 14th Jul 2020 1:24pm)
  • That makes sense. "We're charging extra because you've went too long without getting it cut" doesn't. Especially not for men's hair, when even if you hadn't had it cut for 10 year they could blast the majority of it off quickly. by JohnKnonce (Tue 14th Jul 2020 1:27pm)
  • What are you on about here then? > In the parks that's fine, in my garden I like the grass short. Why are you shouting about liking the grass in your garden short while ranting about the council? The council have got fuck all to do with the grass in your garden. by JohnKnonce (Tue 14th Jul 2020 7:53pm)
  • Lol, fair does man. I know this is a pointless thing to keep banging on about but you were talking about your garden when you were talking about garden. > In the parks that's fine, in my garden I like the grass short. Was a weird thing to say when you're talking about the council not cutting public grass. by JohnKnonce (Wed 15th Jul 2020 5:07pm)
  • Aye, imagine being "surly" because you've no been paid right. West can get to fuck purely for the attitude she's taken in those two emails. There was another snidey email to one of her employees a few weeks back. Plenty other pubs. by JohnKnonce (Thu 16th Jul 2020 12:28am)
  • Lol, where do you think Dennistoun is? by JohnKnonce (Thu 16th Jul 2020 12:25am)
  • And you think it's a different place from Glasgow? by JohnKnonce (Thu 16th Jul 2020 8:04am)
  • Yes, thanks. It was like you were saying "I prefer Brooklyn to New York", "I prefer Edinburgh to Scotland" :) Honestly thought you were at it for a minute, had you down as a roleplaying American lol. by JohnKnonce (Thu 16th Jul 2020 8:32am)
  • George Orwell is chuckling at that one. by JohnKnonce (Thu 16th Jul 2020 8:36am)
  • That guy's an absolute bunnet. Even just his name. It's fucking Neil Tyson, but that wouldn't sound wanky enough. "De grasse" - beat it. by JohnKnonce (Sat 18th Jul 2020 1:08pm)
  • What did your GP say? Can they not provide something? by JohnKnonce (Sat 18th Jul 2020 8:53pm)
  • I guess it's being forgotten about, or ignored, because someone kidding on they've got a disability in order to use a shunky is a bit different from someone kidding on they have a disability in order to potentially spread this virus around. Not saying it's necessarily right, but I can't understand folk being a bit less worried about discrimination for this specific thing. by JohnKnonce (Sat 18th Jul 2020 11:24pm)
  • I've lived my entire life thinking you can't drink the tap water on holiday in Spain... Fuck sake. Many a heavily droofed morning could have been easily dealt with. by JohnKnonce (Mon 3rd Aug 2020 10:30am)
  • Your budget is over £600 pm and you can't find a kitchen? I live in a fairly large (for a one bedroom) flat with a large kitchen all to myself for £600pm. Absolutely no chance would I consider sharing with someone for that sort of money. Even in the West End you'd probably find a shite flat to yourself for that price. by JohnKnonce (Mon 3rd Aug 2020 10:36am)
  • High street shops have been open for weeks, have they not? (I've rarely been in one in years so I might be wrong, I've not exactly been caring). by JohnKnonce (Fri 7th Aug 2020 8:41am)
  • That's called a roll n pie. by JohnKnonce (Mon 10th Aug 2020 5:14pm)
  • Do you really want the flat? If so you'll need to let them mug you off, that's the game. If not tell them to beat it - there's no reason they'd need all that just to let you view it. by JohnKnonce (Mon 10th Aug 2020 5:20pm)
  • You started a row because you were greeting about the Moises "death throws". You need to get a grip more than anycunt. by JohnKnonce (Wed 12th Aug 2020 1:44pm)

  • Aye, this. Wear a mask and tear it down. Break his locks with some glue or chewing gum. by JohnKnonce (Mon 17th Aug 2020 9:59am)
  • Exactly. Cunts getting charged 6 quid for a poke of chips, and fucking loving it. by JohnKnonce (Mon 17th Aug 2020 10:09am)
  • But it seems to be standard practice to charge stupid prices whenever anyone but an actual wee street vendor is selling "street food". Basically whenever anyone is selling something actually labelled as "street food". by JohnKnonce (Mon 17th Aug 2020 10:05am)
  • I think it's to stop pubs being rammed like they were in Aberdeen etc a few weeks ago. No music and no telly. So noone is going to the pub for a bouncing Friday night or to watch the football - the two times when a pub round here would be rocking. It's another one where the places who weren't giving a fuck about the guidelines have fucked it for every else. Although personally I'm no going to the pub to watch the telly or listen to pish tunes so it suits me. by JohnKnonce (Mon 17th Aug 2020 10:12am)
  • It's wild that there's buildings like that just sitting there rotting. by JohnKnonce (Mon 17th Aug 2020 10:16am)
  • That must be what my upstairs neighbour does. Sounds like they're trying to jump through the floor. Pre covid I sometimes made far too much noise on a Saturday night though, so I don't complain. Fair's fair. by JohnKnonce (Thu 20th Aug 2020 5:04pm)
  • How's this downvoted? It was, was it no? Or is it the kilt itself that's made-up Victorian nonsense? by JohnKnonce (Fri 21st Aug 2020 1:46pm)
  • Aye it's too informal for a wedding but too formal for just about any less formal occasion. by JohnKnonce (Fri 21st Aug 2020 1:45pm)
  • Aye it was pretty normal tbh. It's only when people talk about it like this that I realise how fucking mental it is. I don't think folk do it as much now, I'm thinking back 20+ year. It was mostly just shite patter though, rather than a genuine attempt to see your baws. I remember being about 17/18 at a wedding and calling their bluff. Suddenly I was the bad cunt trying to flash Aunty Moira. by JohnKnonce (Fri 21st Aug 2020 1:51pm)
  • > we don't need to have the numbers broken down like you're being shown at Crufts I'm stealing that line. I hate the I'm 2/48ths Scottish shit. by JohnKnonce (Fri 21st Aug 2020 1:55pm)
  • The really bizarre thing about that sub is the Katie Price posts. Yer man's into two things - inane Glasgow news and big Jordan. by JohnKnonce (Tue 25th Aug 2020 3:55pm)
  • Aye that's hunt the cunt. Great game. by JohnKnonce (Tue 25th Aug 2020 4:07pm)
  • Aye, they were the weapon of choice in second year until somecunt smashed a lorry window. After that the school treated them like firearms lol, you were fucked if caught with one. by JohnKnonce (Tue 25th Aug 2020 4:12pm)
  • >Granny - doing a grand national style run through people's back gardens vaulting fences Haha, we called that the garden marathon. by JohnKnonce (Tue 25th Aug 2020 4:10pm)
  • >something about your name on your birth certificate making you a corporate entity that can be sold, Free Man on the Land patter. by JohnKnonce (Sun 30th Aug 2020 9:34am)
  • When Facebook was first getting big it was full of kids and young folk. Sure many of them like you got older and kept it. But nowadays it's my maws generation that are all over it. Folk in their 50s and 60s. They weren't using it at all back when it was first gaining popularity. They weren't using "social media" of any form (whereas we'd went from MySpace to Bebo to Facebook). Now they all use Facebook whereas people my age (mid 30s) that I know barely use it, and folk younger are surely on whatever the new Snapchat is, or just Instagram. by JohnKnonce (Sun 30th Aug 2020 9:40am)
  • You've fixated on the router when it was the thinking that was being called dangerous, not the specific act with the router. Everyone else was evidently able to see that. by JohnKnonce (Sun 30th Aug 2020 9:49am)
  • I find it hilarious when cunts DM an argument or insult to you. Hilarious that they think I'm going to respond. There's no point slagging dafties in private, some sort of audience is required. by JohnKnonce (Sun 30th Aug 2020 9:47am)
  • >They get turned into shoes and clothes by the Hollywood elites Hahaha. You sure the guy wasn't just having a laugh? Brad Pitt is cutting about wearing your weans. by JohnKnonce (Sun 30th Aug 2020 9:58am)
  • You'll never know till you've tried a pair of wee Billy slip on loafers for yourself. by JohnKnonce (Sun 30th Aug 2020 10:28am)
  • Ahh, I see. You've taken issue not because it was only a router setting but because they were implying some of your beliefs, or ways of thinking, are dangerous lol. They are. Don't get caught burning a mast down. by JohnKnonce (Sun 30th Aug 2020 10:24am)
  • Haha, aye along with the wild naivety ripping out him. Gang of bams tanning each others faces in the middle of the street and he's giving it "but is he alwight". Don't get involved mate, you'll end up getting it next. by JohnKnonce (Tue 1st Sep 2020 4:47pm)
  • Thanks for bringing some of the sewage here. Really appreciated. by JohnKnonce (Wed 2nd Sep 2020 8:36am)
  • >Nicola is having her strings pulled like a puppet. By who and to what end? You think there's a puppet master out there pulling a grand conspiracy to stop someone seeing their granny? The only criticism I have of this move is that they've not had the baws to shut the pubs or schools too, so it's this silly measure which doesn't appear to make much sense with pubs etc open and hoaching. I can only assume because this one doesn't cost anything. "Divide your family" is ridiculously unhelpful hyperbole. Come on man. by JohnKnonce (Wed 2nd Sep 2020 8:42am)
  • Do folk think the hospitality sector can actually be killed and not just temporarily knocked out? A load of pubs might shut, and the economic fallout won't fun, but a load of pubs will reopen once this shite blows over. The hospitality industry won't die, and even if did the hospitality industry 2 would be born out it's ashes. No that I'm saying "Let it die" or anything, just trying to point out that it won't/can't permanently die unless everycunt decides they no longer want to go out ever again. by JohnKnonce (Wed 2nd Sep 2020 8:46am)
  • My definition is not permanently, so aye. I'm not eager to sign up to it either. by JohnKnonce (Wed 2nd Sep 2020 11:55am)
  • Aye but we're not talking about employment contracts we're talking about an entire sector of the economy. It would recover eventually. Not that that makes it's decline any more desirable though. by JohnKnonce (Wed 2nd Sep 2020 12:47pm)
  • You'll be straight on here to regale us with your harrowing tale. by JohnKnonce (Sat 5th Sep 2020 5:24pm)
  • Scotlands junkies are fuck all compared to places where they're on crack and meth rather than smack and fake blues. We always think we've got the worst of everything. Worst weather, worst junkies lol. Cunts haven't got a clue. by JohnKnonce (Sat 5th Sep 2020 5:27pm)
  • Amsterdam, obviously much worse. But that's a bit of a special case. Only place I've been threatened with a knife by an old jakey crackhead while he's still holding his crack pipe in the other hand lol. Berlin. Pretty comparable to Glasgow. Rome. Much worse. Portugal (tbh I cannae mind where I was). Much worse. As for the weather, it's generally fine. Our winters are fuck all compared to a lot of places. by JohnKnonce (Sat 5th Sep 2020 5:58pm)
  • Aye nae bother Percy. Glasgow doesn't have the worst weather nor the worst junkies. You've led a sheltered life (and have ridiculous ideas about bad weather) if you think otherwise. You're in the same boat as the clowns who think you don't get litter anywhere else. by JohnKnonce (Sun 6th Sep 2020 10:28am)
  • I'm honestly a bit shocked that you live in Amsterdam and haven't seen dirty needles or people ravaged by addiction outside Centraal. I've only visited a few times and seen plenty. by JohnKnonce (Sun 6th Sep 2020 10:34am)
  • What a fucking non story. A woman went for a drink with 3 folk. Awww nawww, call the cops. I had somecunt round my house last night. Lock me up. Throw away the key. by JohnKnonce (Sun 6th Sep 2020 10:38am)
  • I don't think we'll see much of that tbh. You can't have a local lockdown without paying for it. It'll be more of what we're getting now, rules and restrictions around everything that doesn't involve spending money. Cannae go to your mates house Cannae go for a walk CAN go to the pub and the coffee shop. by JohnKnonce (Sun 6th Sep 2020 10:43am)
  • Nail on the head. Second lockdown isn't happening - because not a chance the UK gov. is paying for it. They're busy trying to bully office workers back into central London. by JohnKnonce (Sun 6th Sep 2020 10:41am)
  • Is it not? by JohnKnonce (Sun 6th Sep 2020 10:48am)
  • Are you aware what happens when noone goes into the businesses who pay minimum wage staff's wage? by JohnKnonce (Sun 6th Sep 2020 10:46am)
  • Fair does mate, maybe you walk about with your eyes closed or I've just been unlucky to see loads of junkies and crackheads any time I've been in Amsterdam. I've never seen an obvious crackhead in Glasgow. by JohnKnonce (Sun 6th Sep 2020 10:54am)
  • Fuck. He's deid? Googled it, he is indeed. Bad yin. RIP. by JohnKnonce (Sun 6th Sep 2020 10:51am)
  • What's wrong with what I've typed? If I get covid I'll spread it to you. "I hope a new outcome..." lol. Aye aye. by JohnKnonce (Sun 6th Sep 2020 11:03am)
  • So it's not against current guidelines? Folk need to get a grip with the covid hysteria. Cunts are rattling for someone to break a rule. by JohnKnonce (Sun 6th Sep 2020 11:23am)
  • The CEO of the pub? by JohnKnonce (Sun 6th Sep 2020 11:29am)
  • >The "extended household" argument doesn't seem to hold up here. Why not? Sounds reasonable enough to me. by JohnKnonce (Sun 6th Sep 2020 11:33am)
  • >See my response below ? > Do us a favor and mark edits? What difference does it make? It's a daft comment on a website man, it's no an essay or whatever. by JohnKnonce (Sun 6th Sep 2020 11:57am)
  • Fuck up ya clown. Have you got so little else going on in your life that taking the comments section of this daft website so serious seems important to you? by JohnKnonce (Sun 6th Sep 2020 12:05pm)
  • What "does though"? by JohnKnonce (Sun 6th Sep 2020 12:14pm)
  • Fuck knows what you were trying to achieve there. Swing and a miss. by JohnKnonce (Sun 6th Sep 2020 12:17pm)
  • Cheers by JohnKnonce (Sun 6th Sep 2020 12:16pm)
  • You've waded in to a stupid argument I'm having with some other idiot to comment that? Hahaha. Fucking hell man. Go for a walk or something. by JohnKnonce (Sun 6th Sep 2020 12:24pm)
  • Mate I'm lying on the couch hungover coz I was out having fun last night. What's your excuse? Is this you on your other account or are you genuinely trying to give this cunt hauners? I'm no sure which is sadder tbh. by JohnKnonce (Sun 6th Sep 2020 12:26pm)
  • Lol, outstanding. You do realise that you rapidly responded to me with this? Self awareness my man. Find some. by JohnKnonce (Sun 6th Sep 2020 12:32pm)
  • Hahaha. So what's went wrong with your weekend that you've felt the need to step in here and get me telt? Your bird been out hoorin it again? by JohnKnonce (Sun 6th Sep 2020 12:30pm)
  • Pinball's no daft. by JohnKnonce (Sun 6th Sep 2020 12:47pm)
  • And another. by JohnKnonce (Sun 6th Sep 2020 12:52pm)
  • Get you now. I was quoting the comment above mine. > "The "extended household" argument doesn't seem to hold up here. ^ they're not my words. I agree that it holds up, it sounds reasonable. by JohnKnonce (Sun 6th Sep 2020 12:50pm)
  • I think I misread your earlier comment tbh. by JohnKnonce (Sun 6th Sep 2020 12:58pm)
  • Read the story man. If they're telling the truth then it doesn't. by JohnKnonce (Sun 6th Sep 2020 1:19pm)
  • Do you honestly think "Pot. Kettle" makes any sense here? I wasn't the one banging on about how a "rapid response" was something to be ashamed of. I find it really funny that you must have realised your fuck up so left a bit of time before your next reply. Keep em coming man, the absolute state of you is sorting my hangover right out :) by JohnKnonce (Sun 6th Sep 2020 1:16pm)
  • They banned walking last week mate. You need to hop about now. by JohnKnonce (Sun 6th Sep 2020 1:39pm)
  • Aye it's fucking murder. I've been pulled up the day for "swearing at folk" haha. by JohnKnonce (Sun 6th Sep 2020 1:40pm)
  • Who are these folks you think you're playing to mate? No-one else is reading this. Your "internet hardman" patter is tragic btw. by JohnKnonce (Sun 6th Sep 2020 4:39pm)
  • And you're glued to me seemingly, with the multiple replies. What's that say about you? by JohnKnonce (Sun 6th Sep 2020 4:44pm)
  • The pictures are tiresome but how's it humble bragging to have taken a photo of the country you live in back when you could freely travel? Bragging about their past self living in a covid free Scotland? by JohnKnonce (Sun 6th Sep 2020 5:52pm)
  • Haha, aye I see what you mean now. by JohnKnonce (Sun 6th Sep 2020 6:29pm)
  • Wtf are you even on about? I said noone else is reading this in response to your "There he goes folks" shite patter. You were showing off to an imaginary audience. You're reading it, and bamming you up is amusing me. How pathetic you are, either with your alt account or your need to wade into someone else's argument and make a fool of yourself, is pretty funny to me. by JohnKnonce (Sun 6th Sep 2020 7:17pm)
  • Keep your pish to one comment chain my man. It's great that you've got so riled up you're doing multiple replies now but there's really no need. Maybe use the edit button lol. by JohnKnonce (Sun 6th Sep 2020 7:36pm)
  • Aren't they pretty much always at their highest ever? by JohnKnonce (Mon 7th Sep 2020 11:34am)
  • 101 won't do much. Just go straight to 999. by JohnKnonce (Wed 9th Sep 2020 10:22am)
  • I'm no sure how legit the data is but that's definitely been the claim. "track and trace" isn't the app, track and trace is NHS staff phoning people to trace their contacts. The info from that apparently points towards people getting it in their mates/families houses by JohnKnonce (Thu 10th Sep 2020 11:11am)
  • It's not the info from the app which has literally just came out. Track and trace involves NHS staff phoning people who have tested positive and asking them where they've been, who they've been in contact with etc. by JohnKnonce (Thu 10th Sep 2020 11:09am)
  • >One night we’re out and about and bumped in to him and he had a pint of tenants he’d stole from the pub (literally walking down the street drinking it). You've written this as if it's wild and not fairly common for cunts walking home from the boozer. > Cut to the chase, we were at the Clyde and he finished the pint and fetched himself one from the Clyde too and drank the pint of Clyde water in front of us. Ok, now *that's* wild. Fair does. by JohnKnonce (Fri 11th Sep 2020 9:55am)
